NEVADA TAN

A 12-year-old girl has been charged  with murder. How could a 12-year-old child dare to annihilate her entire classmate? What's her motive to do such a thing!?  Who is nevada tan, and where did she come  from? '

"Hey Xia... again?" I ask as I approach Lora, who has wrinkled brows and is glancing at the book I'm holding.

"I had no idea you were addicted to reading,"  she murmured as she sat alongside me in the  chair.

"I always did," I chuckled as I rolled my eyes. I shook my head and returned my attention  to the book I was reading.

Lora even positioned her phone across my  side view face in my peripheral vision. Hence With a frown in my brow, I swivel my head to face her as I screamed, "What are you doing!"

But she simply shrugged as she grinned and looked at her phone, saying, "Still seems like the past, no difference at all."

I'm not sure what she's talking about, but I sensed it. She knows something I don't.

After her gaze was drawn to the book, she inquired, "Nevada Tan?"

I nodded and turned my focus on the book I was holding, saying, "This story hooked me, it's interesting."

"That girl who assassinated her bestfriend and her entire class, such a terrible child," she grumbled.

I froze when I heard her, as if she knew a lot about this story, "You know Nevada Tan?" It piqued my interest because I enjoy listening to mysteries and solving them.

"Yep, That child who murdered her bestfriend," Lora said, sighing and shaking her head as though disappointed.

"Do you know why she did that?" I asked, my eyes twinkling and staring at her, waiting for her next response.

What was the girl's motive for murdering her best friend?

She's her bestfriend, and we all know how important it is to value our friends because they are your second family, ready to listen and understand you. They'll stay on your side for a long time.

Lora stared at me, dazed, not intending to respond; when a second passed, she rose up and took her phone.

But before she started walking away, she said something that confused me.

"I'll tell you why if you'll follow me," she said, her chilly voice making my body quiver. Her voice sounded dead, like as if it were full of malice.

I even caught a glimpse of her slanted face with a strange grin.

Is this my bestfriend still?

Though I was a little afraid of what her sudden change of voice meant, the confusion was whirling in my head, so I stood up and followed her.

We're already outside the library a short time later. We hopped into a taxi and only stopped at a location that made my brain bulge with astonishment.

She began walking as soon as we arrived at our destination, denying me the opportunity to inquire. As a result, I simply walked after silently, and I believe she sensed my silence.

I heard her say, "walk beside me," without even glancing at me.

I'm not sure why, but it made me shiver. "Ah y-yes," I said as I staggered alongside her.

"You seem anxious, are you all right?" she asks. I could feel the smirk on her lips even though I wasn't looking at her, which made my heart skip a beat. Why am I so nervous?

"Scared?"

Is it true that I'm scared?

"All right, we've arrived."

Her voice stopped me in my tracks as if she wanted to say something, but when I looked up and saw the graves all around me, my brows wrinkled. "Why are we in cemetry?" I wondered, turning my gaze to look at her sided face.

"Look there," she said, pointing to a nearby grave with her pale lips smirking. I followed it until I came across the name.

"Nevada Tan?" My eyes widen as I realize the name. "Wait, she died!" I exclaim.

Lora's voice chuckled and said, "Isn't it obvious?"

"Hold on, what I really want to know is why she killed her closest friend and her entire class, not to see her grave" I grumbled.

"She was influenced by social media and thrilled movies" Her eyes were fixed on the Nevada Tan's grave "and because her mother was not satisfied with her grades she became depressed on how to maintain her higher grades, she love playing basketball but because of her failing grades she needs to quiet and focused first on her performance in class"

Is it thus because of her depression that she went insane and murdered her entire classmate and loving bestfriend?

"What was the motive for her killing her bestfriend?" I inquire once more. while looking at her pallid face with bated breath

"Jealousy," she says this time as she turns her head to face me. "She was jealous on her bestfriend because her bestfriend was smart, and even though she wouldn't maintain her grades her parents still love her as long as she's fine, Her bestfriend was good at playing basketball, and the jealousy and insecurities she felt made her think of planning on murdering her," she said, pocketing both hands on her black jacket.

"How about her classmates?" I ask out of curiousity

"Have you seen the movie Battle Royale koushun Takami?" she asks, holding her bagpack. "That Nevada girl was rumored to have hikikomori syndrome, also known as mental disorder, which includes symptoms such as internet addiction, social withdrawal, and depression."

My brows furrowed! That film that Lora and I both enjoying watching, Why would she bring up this subject? Is it connected to the Nevada Tan story?

I smiled and nodded.

"She was apparently enthralled by the film, which is about a group of students who are imprisoned on an island and must fight to the death so that just one survivor may leave the island alive," she said implaying the story about.

Yes, that was it indeed.

"Did that movie have an impact on her?"

"Yep, but that's not the main reason," she said with a nod.

Lora takes out a box cutter from the pocket of her jacket. My brain hurts after seeing this as my brows frown.

suddenly, a Piercing pain retaliate on my mind while a scene flashed through my head.

a couple of small youngsters, but seeing the event rendered me speechless.

"D-don't!! ah! s-stop it, I'm begging you!! ahhh s-stop!" cried the small girl who got stab numerious time.

While the other child who was smirking while stabing the poor girl a hundred times was wearing a jacket with the name Nevada Tan on it. But reality that shocked me and made my knees in jellies.

Lora was the girl who was stabbed a hundred times! The girl who stabbed her was...

ME?!!

I was nevada tan! and the grave infront of us was an empty grave!

I purposely planted this grave here and put all those memories I wanted to forget thats why I curved my name on it, just for the people to know that nevada tan was already dead.

"You killed me!"

Lora's chilly voice lingered on me as soon as I regain my senses. As I glanced at her, my body shook.

"Y-you," I shook with terror! Why is that? I've already murdered her. But she's right in front of me, showing no signs of death! How is this even possible?

"You're already dead!" I cried as I stared at her in disbelief.

"You killed your dearest friend! You're horrible! cruel! insane!" she exclaimed angrily.

Her pale hand reached my neck just as I was reacting to the break into run!

I could feel her icy cold body now. She was dead, but she was brought here for me to exact vengeance.

Right, I was Nevada Tan, and Lora was the girl I killed when we were both kids. She's still out for vengeance and keeps coming to see me.

What is my motive?

...I have no reason to kill her; she was the one who wanted me dead, and she tried to stab me at the moment, but I was notified and stopped her.

But she refused to give up and pursued to kill me.

I tried to defend myself, but the box cutter in my hand accidently stabbed her in the heart.

In addition, I did not murder all of my classmates. Lora did, and it was because I was the one who had bloodstain on my body that they saw. Without knowing the facts, they accused me of murder.

That's just the way people are. They scrutinized what's on the outside but ignored what's on the inside.

"GO! DIE!" her despondent voice awoke me. You wouldn't guess she was already dead at first glance.

The box cutter she was holding punctured my neck before I could say anything. As I muttered "Sorry," a stream of tears runs down my face.

Now I'm content because we're both dead.

FOLLOW ME AND I'LL FOLLOWBACK

The majority of individuals nowadays are addicted to getting likes and followers on Facebook. This is a method of demonstrating how well-known a person is.

However, Dalia, a well-known writer, was a victim of the "follow me and I'll follow back" strategy.

She was going through her Facebook account one day when she came across an unfamiliar name, but it was the post's reactions that aroused her!

It received 1.1 million reactions, but she was surprised to see the comment section was empty!

She, on the other hand, was unconcerned. Perhaps her being the first to comment is a sign of faith.

She then tapped on the comment section part and said, "Hey excellent work, I'll follow you please follow back."

But she didn't read the stranger's story; instead, she reacted to it and scrolled down.

For her, reacting is her full support. When she reacts, it means she supported that story.

However, that is not the definition of support.

A notification appeared on her screen a short time later, informing her that the person had responded to her. She read the reply "Yes I will" as she opened it.

Dahlia grinned and clicked on the profile of that stranger, pressing on the follow button.

Dahlia then turned off her data after following it.

She was now in a coffee shop, and when she looked at her phone and saw that it was 10:30 p.m., already she decided to leave.

No taxis are loitering on the road at this time.

Hence Dahlia walks alone on the pedestrian road because her residence is not that far from the caffee.

But after a while, she sensed something amiss. It was as if she was being followed. Dahlia turned around to see if anyone was there, but all she saw was blackness.

However, because she didn't see anyone, she continued walking. As soon as she walked away, a gust of wind embraced her, and the hair on her neck stood by fear! She embrace herself as she felt the coldness running all over her body.

as if someone was keeping an eye on her from behind! she turned around to face it but that was a huge mistake she had ever did in her life! She knew something was wrong when she saw the shadow in front of her with bloody red eyes and black fogs all around him. Her entire body shook as she trembled!

"Now you follow me, and now I'm following you."

After that night, Dahlia Ramirez was reported missing and has never been found.
