Many years ago, when there were no industries, goods were made at home. Hand made tools were used. But, with the beginning of industrial revolution in Europe, large factories were established. People who were rich invested in these factories and bought machineries. And those people who worked at homes and fields were brought to the factories.
But the workers were treated very badly. The working environment was very poor. Working hours was high. Many workers died working in these factories.
