The man in the window stared out he groaned, as he watched sever dozen people all packed up in a small building a small child pushed across them carrying what seemed like stolen food he was quickly stopped by some officers they unholstered their guns and placed it at the young child’s head the man staring out quickly closed the curtains someone wrapped their arm around his waist “What’s on your mind, hon bun?” The man squinted his eyes at the curtains “Charles?” The man responded to them name his eyes wondered “It’s nothing Coraline. Our son is just getting older… and with our second one coming in, in just a few weeks do you ever wonder will we struggle like district P?” The woman hugged Charles tighter “I have no doubt, but that is why we have you with your job, and your connections with the ones who are building the bunkers I have no doubt that life will also get easier charles moved forward he quickly turned and grabbed Corals hands her skin was cold yet warm, her long blonde hair with her big blue eyes made her look even beautiful than the first time they met “I love you and our unborn child… but maybe it’s best if it was never born I mean I have a few connections-“ coral slipped her hands out and slapped him “Do you know why District M’s southern building are faced towards the Poor and the rising sun while the northern is faced to the sunset and the Wealthy?” Charles shook his head Coral smiled she cupped his face “Because unlike them we have a brand new days sure it’s faced with some bad things but it is good unlike the north the sun light faces our face with a show of sign we will survive!” Charles nodded he smiled and hugged his lover “With Tommy at school for around four more hours we have some time to ourselves what do you-“ the room turned red as the emergency lights triggered Charles looked at Coral her eyes looked shocked.

He grabbed her hand they quickly grabbed a photo and left with only one package and a ID card they grabbed two backpacks at the door and left the home everyone was in a panic from left to right were Distict P trying to trespass into M so far there was only five bodys Charles saw as he ran down the steps he turned towards his right towards the school and he tried to run but Coral grabbed his hand “I know there’s nothing that I can do to stop you.so I’ll just say this be careful.” Charles smiled he pulled a thumbs up “Course Coral.” They turned away from each other knowing that it they saw each other neither would leave before he left, he gave her a older model of his ID “Keep this just in case… and dear I love you.” Charles said Coral smiled nodding they both ran the opposite ways it only took five minutes for Charles to get past the guards as they were too busy making sure the Distirct P kids didn’t get on their side.

Once Charles got in he was meant by a bunch of clumped up District M kids and teacher heading down some stairs he quickly grabbed the hand of a teacher he recognized they looked back “Mister Tech you should be going to your designated bunker?!” The teacher said Charles nodded “I know but I need to be with my son where is he!?” He yelled worried the teacher sighed she looked over at his own class pointing at a little boy no younger than 5 “Your sons classroom is designated to bunker B3 though I don’t doubt my coworkers it best if you just followed him and make sure he doesn’t wonder in to B100.” Charles smiled he nodded and ran towards his son though he didn’t realize his dad was right behind him seeing his son from a distance killed Charles as he saw the fear in his sons eyes.

Once they got to the bunker Charles and his son entered though still unknown he walked forward the classmate of his ran in like nothing was wrong the quickly sat in front of the tv and turned it on Charles hid in front of the door he looked over at his son he cried he took one step and the other kids looked at him and groaned “Awe man it’s an adult!” The kids said Charles son raised his head he turned a bit hesistanly he smiled as he laid eyes on his dad he stood and ran over yelling “Daddy!” Charles smiled he hugged his son and he hugged back “My dear Alex I was worried for you.” The boy cried into his dads shoulder he stopped after his eyes became to red to cry anymore he looked around “Where’s mom?” Charles stood “Safe… look everyone since I’m the oldest and the most experienced in taking care of things I will be the leader and do my-“ the ground above them shook causing the tv to turn into static everyone who got a glimpse of what caused it looked in horror.
