I hear shouts and footsteps behind me, and I know that I have to run.
A dark shape appears in front of me , and I rush toward it.
The dark shape looks up at me.
Her ruby coloured eyes are full of pain,and something like relief crosses her face.
???
You shouldn't be, I can handle this.
Her hands and coat are stained with blood, and my heart leaps to my throat at the sight.
???
It's merely a scratch.
Dolores
But you're obviously hurt!
I touch her visage,and strangely, she's as cold as ice.
Dolores
No matter what happens, I won't let them kill you!
I hear noises behind me and I quickly turn around.
Surrounding us are armed men, watching us carefully.

Their weapons are aimed at us. It is as if they're waiting...

I've caught you at last.
A woman with silver hair appears out of the crowd , striding confidently toward us.
She's looking directly at the woman beside me.
Dolores
How dare you? She's done nothing to you!
Leader
Stand aside, woman if you know what's good for you.
Leader
Men, you know what you have to do.
The armed men nod and aim straight at the woman beside me.
Dolores
(I have to stop them.)
I throw myself in front of her , arms outstretched.
One man flinches at my shout, and fires.
Pain blossoms in my chest and I stagger backward.
Dolores
(Atleast.... she's safe.)
The dark-haired woman catches me and gently lowers me to the ground.
The world spins around me and her eyes begin to glow red.
