Abandoned Island Love

Plane Crash

"The planes going to departure now, please stay seated, and turn off all of your cellular devices." The captain made the announcement through the speakers.

The planes attentive walked by, asking if people needed any drinks or snacks.

I'm Leo, I was born in America, but sent to China because something with my parents. After a month of living in China, I got a call that my parents went missing. They left a coded message that said "We're fine, just hiding for now. When your old enough, we'll come find you." And that's all I heard from them after three years and eleven months. I'm sixteen today, and I celebrate my birthday by rebelling my parents wishes, and returning home.

[Plane takes off]

I hate planes!

I was sitting in my chair, no one besides me, when the plane started to move in another direction roughly. A kid, maybe twelve, fell out of their seats. I quickly got up, pulling the kid the inner seat. The kid was a young boy, he was shaking from fear. I held my arms around him as the plane started falling. Air bags dropping down. I buckled him in before me, reaching for his air mask, that was stuck above us. I knew I wouldn't be able to reach it, so I covered the one that was meant for me, over his mouth. He started shaking his head, tears coming down his face. I gently smiled at him.

[CRASH]

Everything went dark.

When I came to, ringing filled my ears. Everything was blurry. The nice gentle man with blonde hair came to mind. I quickly gather myself, trying to clear my vision.

After a few minutes, my eyes took in the gruesome scene. Dead bodies were everywhere. Blood splattered on the parts of the walls that were still intact on the planes skeleton. My eyes travelled to the seat next to me. The man who had saved my life, was sitting there, blood dripping down his well featured face. I tried reaching out to him, but my arms wouldn't move. I realised the metal piece that captured my arms and legs. But I didn't feel pain yet.

In the distance were the sound of voices. Maybe they can help. "He..lp..." Was all my dried up voice managed to say. To my surprise, a few wolves came towards us. I looked at them shocked, then started talking again. "Pplease...Sssa...ve... h..im" I managed to say, nudging my head towards the gentle man besides me, who looked like he was already dead.

The wolves turned away, but the largest one of them stayed. If I understood wolf, his expression looked shocked, while he stared upon the gentleman.

He growled towards the others, who stood, looking back at him. I watched, barely, as they looked like they were communicating between each other. The other wolf's bowed before the big one, returning towards his side.

His eyes watched me, but I gave up trying to stay conscious, seeing them help my savior beside me.

Escapee

■Leos Point of View□

"Is he going to be okay?"

"He has a concussion, he'll need to rest without any physical or mentally straining on his body"

"I understand"

Faint whispers were heard in the distance. I couldn't move, nor open my eyelids. But I was aware of my surroundings. A man was talking to an elderly woman somewhere nearby. I could only hear parts of their conversation.

Did I survive the plane crash? Did they send me to the hospital? It doesn t smell like a normal hospital, it smells of cinnamon and pine wood in here. Maybe they burnt a candle or something in here to cover up the sterilizing smell.

I suddenly felt something warm cupping my hand. It was so warn and soft, I tried holding onto it. But I couldn't. Darkness swept me off of my feet again, into a deep and dark slumber.

"Mnnh..." I slowly brought up my hand, and rubbed my tired eyes. My eyes shot open, waking up to a weird environment. It looked like the walls would crumble down any minute, vines and weeds grew on the cracks on the wall. Holes shown some sunlight threw them. It reminds me of a scene in a movie I watched. Where humans went extinct, and all the buildings were falling apart due to the failure of them being well kept.

I almost jumped, if not for feeling like lead, seeing some kind of wolf laying on the floor besides my the bed I was sleeping on.

I threw my feet over the edge of the bed, trying not to make a sound. I was half n.ked, my pants still in tact. Bandages crossed my chest and back, reaching over my left shoulder. Some parts of my arms were bandaged too. I'm not feeling any pain, so they probably gave me something strong.

I need to get out of here, before that wolf wakes up. Who keeps wolves besides patients?! I walked through the door way, that had no door attached to its hinges. When I was about to step out, a loud growl erupted.

I slowly turned around, seeing the wolf awoken. Time to run! I started running around the almost fallen down building I was kept in. I was on the second floor, running from a wolf that's hot on my heels. I looked for every possible escape. One option caught my attention. As I was running down the hall, there was one room that still had a door. I swung the door open, slamming it behind me.

Half of the room was missing, exposing the forest outside of it. A tree that wasn't too far, caught my attention. The wolf's pounding footsteps came closer. Not even thinking about, I got a running head start, wincing at the pain surging through my body. The pain killers are wearing off. I jumped through the air, landing on a thick tree branch.

The door smashed in, as the huge wolf was looking straight at me. My chances were slim if I went down on the ground. All wolves travel in packs, so there has to be more of them around.

Monkey

I crawled to the back of the branch, where the branch and trunk meet. I watched the wolf's everymove, and he did the same for me. His fur was a dark blue, almost black, with sky blue eyes. He was huge, even for a wolf.

I broke our eye contact, looking around for a way to escape. Everywhere around were trees, besides this building that would fall down anytime now. I wasn't that far off the ground, but with my injuries, I probably would have to rely on luck to survive. I don't see any other wolves around, nor humans. So who dressed my wounds?

Howlll [Wolf howling]

I snapped my eyes back to the large beast in front of me. His eyes were in a sharp glare. Did the howl erupt from his chest? He howled again, but this time louder. I couldn't help but flinch.

The wolf walked to the edge, looking at me more intensely. A different howl erupted from the foresr. Then many after that. Did this jerk call for back up?! "You stingy brat!" I called out at him. "Sorry for not wanting to be dog food, but really? A big bad wolf like you needs back up?!" I shouted out in annoyance. If I'm gonna die, mines as well speak my mind before I do. The wolf growled lowly at what I said. I stuck out my tongue, only provoking the wolf more.

I gathered my strength, and stood up on the tree. In China I learned in military camps, gymnastics, surviving classes and specialise in many other fields. If I can't save my @ss in the wilderness, then I feel ashamed for my seniors who worked so hard to teach me.

I climbed the branches, jumping to other tree branches from close trees, getting farther and farther from that building with the demon wolf.

I stopped at hearing loud foot steps coming closer. Did he track my smell? Damn! I climbed up the current tree I was on, trying to let the wind blow my sent in different directions.

The demon wolf was leading about twenty wolf's behind him. I don't know if I should feel honored or not, that he needed so many wolves just to get his prey.

I thought my plan worked, until the demon wolf looked above him, straight at me. The other wolves noticed my presences too. They all huddled around, like boy scouts, trying to make up a plan. Whatever, I'll just keep moving. That's what I thought.

Those wolves were now becoming humans. I almost pissed myself. This is like a scene of a horror movie. N.ked hulk size men, came climbing up the tree. The demon wolf watching from below, still a wolf. Damn, they climb fast!

I started jumping from tree to tree, as they followed me. Not even in human speed. Their Willys hanging out in the air made me want to puke, as they jumped off tree branches, following me.

I stopped on the branch, that was at the edge of the forest. A beach was all that was insight, as the water crashed against the shore. The beasts that were following me, stopped too. I turned to them slowly.

"Hey, you all seem like gentlemen. I'm not tasty, barely any meat. Why don't I help you hunt? I'm better then I look." I said as they showed no emotions. Fine, have it their way. I grabbed a sharp, thick stick, off the tree. I specialize in trees. I stuck my tongue out at them, provoking them.
