When Raphael's attention was on her neck and the sound of blood flowing through her veins . Anastasia took the chance and lift her gown, She was holding a dagger on thigh holster. She have no idea, from where she had the courage to push the dagger into king's stomach.
But when she saw his face, his expressions was painless. Ofcourse he is a vampire, this pain is nothing to him. But Anastasia didn't give up, she twisted the knife to make more internal injury and the king groan in pain.

Anastasia didn't wait there, she ran out from the room, the guards came to help the king, they tried to catch Anastasia, but she escaped them.
It was feeling like dream to her.
She ran for her life, towards the empty corridor. It wasn't easy to run in such a big gown, but when death comes after one, they tried everything possible to escape.
It was dark outside, the only source of the light is moonlight. She ran to the south side of the castle. Fortunately there was no guards guarding the gate at that moment , she escaped and ran into the dark forest .
It's been two hours she was running continuously, she was afraid to stop anywhere. The world seems more big to her now. No modern vehicles , People here normally walks to cover a distance. She wasn't used to run this much. but now she have only chance to live the life, she have to run.
In the middle of the night, Anastasia crossed the forest and saw s fainting lights coming from a distance.

That must be a village.
She has no energy to run more, she just need a bit rest. She walked towards the village huffing for air. She didn't care if there were humans living or Vampires. but she cant stay out. the night is cold like ice here.
After walking sometime, She reached the village. The village looks deserted, only a few light and other part of the village is dark.
Anastasia went to a small cottage and knocked on the door.
She was hoping someone helped her tonight .She committed a terrible crime, attacking the king. But what could have she done. she can't take risk
After knocking a few times at the door, a young man opened the door Holding an oil lamp
