Ava is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Miller. Ava is a lovely girl, she's 17 years old

now, she is a cheerful girl and sweet...but everything changed when that night

happened.

A lovely evening...

They are happily eating together in a fancy restaurant, with the delicious food on the

table. Her Mom and Dad beside her, it was a wonderful dinner with her parents.

The next scene is the big light from the truck approaching in front of them and a big

crushing that she heard.

"Ahhhhhhh..."

Ava woke up in a nightmare again.

She sat in her bed, and she embraced her legs while crying.

She is still dreaming of the car accident that happened that night. Who killed her

father and mother.

She's the only person who survived in that tragic accident. Their car bumped into a tree

to escape the big truck in front of them.

Her mother and father are sitting in the front seat and she is in the back seat.

That accident erased her memory and the only thing she remembers is that night.

The night she enjoyed it and cried...

"Mom.... Dad.... I miss you... huhuhu." Ava cried loudly.

A moment, she heard her phone ring. She wiped away her tears before answering.

"Hello!" Ava answered.

"Hello! Is this Ava?" an old lady asked from the other line.

"Y-yes... Who's on the line?" Ava replied.

"Ava, how are you? I heard what happened. I'm so sorry... I'm your mother in law,

Amelia!"

"M-mother-in-law?" she frowned.

"Yes! I know how you feel right now. I want to hug you dear... I want to tell you

that we are now your family. Please come home..."

"But I don't know you..." Ava said.

"Ava, I know you don't remember anything right now and confused...But you need to

come back home! You are alone there, I'm so worried about you! I will send you

the proof and papers that you need. I hope to see you soon."

"Alright, I will check it first. Thank you for your concern." Ava said in a low voice.

"Okay dear, I hope you decide immediately. Take good care of yourself. If you have a

problem just give me a call, okay?"

"Okay, take care too!" said Ava and they hung up.

Ava checks her email after that talk. She saw some pictures of her with an old

lady. The next is the picture with the guy. She still can't remember who it is?

After two days, she decided to go back home.

After taking off the plane, she saw a familiar face. It looks like the man in the

picture will pick her from the airport.

She walks in front of him and greet. The man is tall and handsome, he looks like an

international model. He wore a black coat and white long sleeve inside, and a

black sun glass.

"Hi! Are you the one who will pick me up?" Ava asked him.

"Yeah." the man replied, while looking at her.

"Hi, I'm Ava...and you are?" Ava raised her hand to shake hand but the man

ignored it.

He put on his sunglasses and turned around.

Ava was surprised by what the man did. He ignored her and suddenly realized he was

going too far.

"Hey, wait for me!" Ava shouted.

She pulled her luggage and ran to that man. The man still walks so fast, that she

is hardly breathing.

"Wait...Sir, can you walk slowly?" Ava said.

But the man gave her a sharp gaze.

So, Ava has nothing to do with it, she just follows as she can.

Finally, she sees his car and they get in the car. He is still not talking to her. She

tried to say a word to him while driving.

"Ah...Hi, how are you?" Ava asked him.

"What do you do?"

"How old are you?"

But she never succeeded...still no response, from the man sitting next to her. She just

sighed and watched him, while driving. While watching him, she really finds him

so handsome. He has a black hair, a pointed nose and kissable lips. She is just

imagining a handsome leading man in the movie, who was driving a luxury car.

"Are you done?"

She was surprised when he talked to her.

"Ha?" She got confused about what he said.

"Are you done watching me?" he said in a sharp tone.

"What?!" she was so embarrassed.

She just looks at the car window and watches the road.

They were quiet until they got home.

It's a big white house, she sees an old lady and old man smiling at her, standing in

the front door. When she got out of the car, they approached her.

"Hi dear! How is your flight?" Amelia said and kissed and hugged her.

"It's fine..." and Ava slightly smiles.

"I'm Amelia, your mother and this is your dad David"

She also greeted him and hugged him!

"And he is our son Dave, your fiancee!"

Ava was shocked by what she heard.

"M-my fiancee?" Ava said and she looked at Dave who was getting out of the car.

"Yes! You are already engaged when you are fifteen!" Amelia said while holding

her hands.

"Ha?" Ava speechless.

This handsome man is my "fiancee?", in her thought.

"Anyway, let's get inside." David said and they followed.

There's a lot of story that they are talking about, while they are eating the delicious

dinner that Amelia prepared.

She looked at Dave who's in front of her and just realized how she got engaged with

this cold man. And she thinks he is older than her. Maybe he is at 20, she

gulped while looking at him.

Dave gives Ava a sharp gaze again when he feels Ava is looking at him. Their eyes

meet...she feels nervous of his stare.

Why did she feel something in his eyes? She feels like he was very angry at her and

sooner or later he will kill her.

She gets her glass of water and drinks it.

"Ava, eat some more." Amelia said.

"Ah, okay. Thank you!" Ava said and focused on eating, and she never looked at

Dave again.

After dinner, she walks into her room and says goodnight. She is feeling sleepy and tired.

After a bath she heard a knock on the door, she opened it and saw Dave standing with a

glass of milk.

"My Mom wants to give it to you." Dave said and handed it to Ava.

Ava is wearing a pink nightgown and Dave saw the shape of her body.

"Thank you!" She smiled slightly.

"What are you wearing?" Dave asked her.

"A night gown...why?" Ava said.

"It's a shit!" Dave said and went to his room besides her room.

"What?!!! Wait!" Ava was shocked..but Dave ignored her and walked into his room.

"What the...." Ava said to herself and went back to her room.

"Oh, what kind of man is he?" Ava was so annoyed and she changed her night gown.

After drinking the milk, she fell asleep.

Early in the morning, Ava hears a knock on the door.

She forcely wakes up and goes to the door, while slightly eyes close. She opens it....it's

Dave again.

Dave grabbed her arms and pulled her to the bathroom. Ava is speechless, when....

"Aaahhhh!" Ava shouted.

She shouted so loud because Dave spilled a pail of water on her. She is now wet and cold.

"What did you do?" Ava is mad at him.

"Now, you're awake!" Dave said and came out of the room.

"Grrrr! I hate you! You bastard!" Ava shouted at him angrily.

While Dave is laughing at her and looking at her wet body.

"You bastard!!! Get out!" Ava said to him when she felt shy in his look.

Dave realized she has a beautiful body shape and he decided to get out of the bathroom.

After Ava took a bath, she got out of her room and saw Dave on the sofa reading the

paper. She wants to talk to him, but her mother in law greets her.

"Oh dear! Good morning!" She smiled.

"Good morning, Auntie!" Ava replied.

"No, just call me Mom!" she ordered.

"Okay, Mom." Ava said.

"Let's eat breakfast." Amelia said to her.

Ava followed her to the garden, she saw there's a small table and chair and some

food on the table.

They approached the table and ate breakfast.

Dave slowly sat on the chair too.

"By the way, Ava, if you want, you can enroll in the next sem. Probably, that is

two weeks from now." Mom said.

"I want to, but I don't know if I can make it." Ava said.

"Dear, you can make it. Dave will help you! Right Dave?" Mom said while holding

her hand.

"Yes..." Dave said briefly while drinking his coffee.

She looks at Dave but he is still reading the newspaper.

"Okay." Ava agreed.

"That's good!" Mom said and smiled at her.

After they eat, Dave goes to her room and starts to teach her some lessons that she

missed. She takes notes of all the lessons and reads some books too.

While writing, Dave asks her.

"Do you really, not remember anything?" Dave said while looking her in the eyes.

"I don't remember anything...why?" Ava asked.

"Tsk! Nothing!" Dave said and sighed.

Afterwards, Ava feels dizzy and her eyes feel heavy and fall...

Dave approached her and brought her to her bed.

"Ava! Ava..." Dave called her but she was still unconscious.

Dave walked out to the door and called his Mom.

They call a Doctor to check Ava.

The Doctor said Ava is too tired and still depressed for losing her loved ones. She needs more time to recover from that incident. Just don't make her stressed, so she can easily recover.

And then, the Doctor gave some medication.

Already dinner time, when Ava wakes up and she feels hungry. She saw Dave, sitting on the side of the bed sleeping while holding her hand.

She slowly takes it in her hand, but Dave wakes up.

"Oh, finally you're awake!" Dave said and he called her Mom outside the door.

"Ava, how are you?" Mom said while approaching her.

"I'm fine now." Ava said.

"Okay, are you hungry? I will bring food here." Mom said.

"Yes, thank you." Ava said and her Mom went outside and went to the kitchen.

Ava and Dave left in the room, they were quiet. Dave leans on the wall and stares at her. She sat up, just feeling uncomfortable with Dave and his looks made her annoyed.

When her Mom arrived, instructed Dave to feed her. She refused to do it, but Dave followed what his Mom said.

He feeds Ava full of rice in a spoon every second.

"Wait, my mouth is still full." Ava refused.

"It's okay, so you will get fat!" Dave said.

"I don't like to be fat." Ava said.

"Uhhg! Uhhg! Uhgg!" Ava choked.

"Give me wa...ter..." Ava said.

Dave gets the glass of water and drinks it. Ava was shocked, she really needs to drink water.

"Please give it to me." Ava said in a bad condition.

"This? Okay." Dave smiled and gave it to her half glass of water.

She started to hate Dave, why he treated her like that. She didn't know what was going on. She feels that Dave is mad at her.

After she eats dinner, she changes her clothes, but Dave suddenly appears.

"What the - Why are you here? Why didn't you knock?!" she said angrily.

"I'm not knocking on my own house." Dave said while looking her body up and down.

"Why are you looking at it?" Ava covers her body.

Dave slowly moved close to her face and said...

"I don't care about that! I already saw it!"

She rolled eyes at him.

"Tsk! Remember, we were already engaged two years ago!"

After Dave said, he turned around and walked out to the room.

"Ggrrr! You jerk!" Ava so mad at him.

The days have passed by...

First day of school, Dave and Ava go to the same school together.

Dave is in his 5th year in college, in a course of Medicine and Health Sciences, while Ava is in her 2nd year, in Economics.

Dave sends her to her classroom first.

"This is your room, get in!" Dave said.

"But wait, where is your room?" Ava asks.

"My room is over there in that building, on the 3rd floor, room 301!" Dave said while pointing to the next building on the right side.

"So, please get in, so I can go now to my class!" Dave said to her.

Ava is nervous entering her class room. She was so shy, because of her condition right now; she didn't know what to do. She slowly walks inside while looking at Dave frequently.

Dave waited for her to get inside, when she finally found her seat, Dave left.

Suddenly, her Teacher came in.

The Teacher gives them some advanced lessons to review at home. After the class, she thought about going to Dave's classroom, to eat with him. But her classmate approached her.

"Hi!" her classmate said.

"Hi!" she smiled.

"I'm Kim, and you are?" Kim said.

"I'm Ava, nice to meet you!" she said.

"Okay. Let's go out for lunch!" Kim said.

"Ah, okay." Ava said.

When they get to the canteen, they order food, when Ava turns to pay she forgot, Dave did not give her any money. She gets nervous; she doesn't know what to do.

"Ava, please pay the bill so we can sit down." Kim said to Ava.

"B-but... I forgot my money." Ava said while searching in her pocket.

"Ha? What?" Kim was shocked.

"Hey, please pay and move!" some students say.

"Can I borrow you...please?" Ava politely said to her.

And Kim checks her wallet, but that's not enough.

"But I don't have any extra." Kim said.

Dave came rushing in the canteen and looked for Ava and he saw her in the middle of that situation. He approaches them and takes his wallet and gets the money.

"Here! I will pay for her!" Dave said and Ava looked at him.

Kim was shocked when she looked at him, because it was Dave, who was very popular in their school.

"Thank you!" Ava said to Dave.

They found a seat and then Dave gave her more money in his wallet.

“This is for you. Sorry, I forgot to give you." Dave said and he walked out.

"Thanks!" Ava said.

Ava keeps it in her bag. Kim saw it and she was impressed.

"Wow! He gave you a lot of money! Why did he do that? Do you know him?" Kim asked her.

"Yes, I know him." Ava said.

"Really? I wish I personally knew him too! Dave is very popular here in our school." Kim said.

"Oh, really?" Ava said.

"Yes, he has a lot of admirers! But he doesn't care! Wait, Dave and you are...? "

Kim was confused about what kind of relationship that she had with Dave.

"We're friends!" Ava lied and gave a fake smile.

"Ah okay, I thought of something. Anyway, let's eat." Kim said and they continued eating.

After class...

"Ava, let's go home together!" Kim said.

"But I have something to do." Ava refused to go with her, because she just thought she didn't know how to go home.

"Ah, okay. I'll go ahead. Bye!" Kim said.

"Bye!" Ava said.

After Kim left her, she decided to go to Dave class room. But when she got there, she found out Dave was already gone.

"What will I do now? How can I go home? I don't know his number." Ava said to herself while walking.

She was walking in the street, when she realized she got lost.

She meets three bad guys in the street.

"Hey Miss!" the one guy said.

"Let's have some fun, before you go home!" he said while looking at her body.

"No! Don't talk to me!" Ava said and she was to turn around.

But they grab her arm by force and trying to rape Ava.

"No! Let me go!!!" Ava shouted.

"He he..come join us first!" said the bad guy and pulled her in the small way side of the building wall.

"No! Please! Let me go!" Ava pleaded and struggled.

The other guy held her both hands while leaning on the wall. While the other one trying to unbutton her blouse. She was so afraid and struggling from them.

"Help! Help!!!" Ava shouted it loud from her lungs. She felt her eyes wet and her tears falling down in her cheek.

And all of a sudden, someone punches that guy, trying to kiss Ava.

She looked at the guy... it was Dave! He fought the bad guys. He kicked so hard, the one who was holding Ava's hand, while the others received a hard punch in their faces and body.

After they had a bloody face from that fight, they ran. Dave had some bruises when he approached Ava, sitting in the corner and crying.

Ava felt so nervous and scared, she was trembling.

"Are you okay?" Dave looked at her.

She hugs him tightly and her tears fall down. Dave didn't show his emotion to Ava. He slowly pushes Ava away.

"Next time, don't go anywhere! Just wait for me at the gate, okay?!" Dave yelled at her.

Ava just nodded and obeyed. She follows Dave in the distance and takes a cab.

While inside the car, Ava still crying and Dave notice it.

"Will you stop crying! You're so annoyed!"

Dave was irritated, when he saw Ava still crying.

Ava wiped away her tears and took a deep breath and looked outside the window. She is still afraid, shocked and her hands still trembling from what happened.

Dave looked at her and her hands were trembling. He sighed, and held her hands to comfort her. He felt her hands were very cold and trembling.

Ava looks at him, when he holds her but he is looking outside. She feels comfortable now, with his warm hands. She really needs his care now, even though he yelled at her earlier, she didn't mind it.

She is just so thankful to him, for saving her from those bad guys.

They are holding hands and quiet, until they reach home.

Finally, they arrived at home, before entering, Dave grabbed her arm and whisper to her.

"Wait! Don't tell Mom what happened, okay?" Dave whisper in her ear.

She just nodded and entered the house. She greeted her Mom and Dad with a smile.

"How is your school?" her Mom asked.

"It's fine." She smiled slightly.

"Oh okay, you take a rest first. Later, we will eat dinner." her Mom said.

And then, she went to her room quietly. As she entered her room, she continued crying.

She still felt alone at that moment.

Even though Dave defends her, he still doesn't care for her. She still feared and felt sorry for herself.

"Mom... I miss you, I miss you so much..."

She said while hugging a pillow and suddenly fell asleep.

Later on, Dave knocks on the door. He knocked so many times, but Ava didn't open it. So, he decided to enter.

"Ava...” he slowly approached Ava in her bed.

He watches her while sleeping, it looks like she is having a bad dream. He wakes up Ava again.

"Ava! Ava! Wake up!" Dave said, but still she doesn't wake up.

"Huh! Ahh!" Ava whispered, and he saw her face in a bad condition, her breathing is alarming.

"Ava...Ava!!!" Dave shakes her shoulder harder, to make her wake up.

"Aaaahhhh!!!" Ava shouted as she woke up with tears.

Dave takes a deep breath of what he witnessed in Ava's bad dream. This girl is suffering from a nightmare.

Ava saw Dave sitting next to her... she sat down and hugged Dave tightly while crying.

Dave was so shocked about Ava. He felt sad for her suffering. He knows it, she was dreaming of the past accident.

He embraced her too and slowly put her back.

"It's okay, it's only a dream." he whispered.

"My Mom and Dad..." and she continued crying heavily.

"Don't cry, I'm here now, I will never leave you." he softly said while touching her hair.

After a while, she calmed down, Dave stared at her, while touching her face. But Dave just realized something.

Slowly, he stood up...

"After your acting, just go out and eat!" Dave said and walked out.

Ava was shocked by what Dave said to her. She is not acting! She felt hurt by what he said. He always has something bad to say to her.

After she recovered from her tears. She goes out and eats dinner.

"Ava, how's your school?" her Dad asked.

"It's okay, I get along with my classmate." Ava said.

"That's good, don't worry, soon you will be more familiar. Maybe we can visit a Doctor to check you." her Mom said.

"Alright." Ava said and bowed her head.

"Dave, you take care of Ava in school. Teach her again her lesson." Mom said.

"I'm busy..." Dave said.

"Busy? Dave as her boyfriend, be responsible! She needs you! Be a man!" His Dad said.

Dave nodded and gave a sharp look at Ava.

While Ava bowed her head and ate slowly.

After they eat dinner, she instructs them to go to Dave's room to study. She knocked many times but did not open.

She enters slowly, she looks around. No body's there, she heard a water sound in the bathroom, she thought that Dave was showering.

She looked around and she saw a picture frame on the small table with a lampshade.

In that picture, Dave is hugging her and it looks like they are so happy and inlove.

She's trying to recall that scene, but she can't.

Until Dave came out of the bathroom, he only wore a towel around his waist. He saw Ava holding the picture frame. He approaches her immediately and takes it from her.

"You have no right to touch anything!" Dave said with a mad face.

"S-sorry..." Ava said and bit her lower lip.

Ava, slowly move back to the chair and wait for Dave.

After he dressed up, he taught her on her assignments and other lessons that she can't understand.

Next day at school....

When the class ended, Ava looked for Dave to go home with him. She searches for Dave's room, and she tries to ask some students there.

"Hi! Is this Dave's classroom?" Ava asked the student.

Looking at her, she is pretty and maybe rich too.

"Oh, Dave, yes. Why?" the girl said while looking at her from top to bottom.

"I just want to say something." Ava said.

"Ah okay..." and then she entered the room.

"Dave, your fan girl is outside." she said.

"Just tell her, I'm busy." Dave said and continued to do his assignment.

"Hey little girl! Dave is busy! You can go home, okay?" the girl said.

"Ha? But I can't go home." Ava said.

"Tsk! Just go home girl! Go!" the girl said and she closed the door.

Ava slowly turns around. She walks to the school gate and waits for Dave.

Until all classes had ended, Dave did not show up.

She sat down in the lawn beside the gate. When she looks up, the sky is too dark, a possibility of rainfall.

Almost 3 hours of waiting, when Dave finally arrived.

Dave was walking with his classmates, when he saw Ava sitting beside the gate. She is all wet because of the rain.

The place is already dark, while Ava is looking at grass which is also wet by the rain, suddenly someone approaches her with an umbrella. She looked up, and she saw Dave sharp gaze. She bowed again and looked at the grass.

"You are such an idiot! You know it's raining, why didn't you look for shelter?" Dave said.

"You said, I need to stay here!" Ava said.

"Tsk!" Dave sighed and mad.

"Oh girl, you are the one who's looking for Dave earlier!" his classmate said.

"Do you know her Dave?" she asked him.

"Yeah, you go ahead." Dave said to his classmate.

"Ah okay. Bye Dave!" his classmates said and they went.

After his classmates are gone, Dave helps her to get up.

"Look at you! You are already wet and your books too! Tsk!" Dave yelled at her.

But Ava kept silent and bowed her head...

They walk through the street to find the cab. But unfortunately, it's a peak hour now, so it's hard to find.

They walk another road, and try to call a cab again. And the rain is getting heavier. Dave, think another way...

"Let's go there first to rest." Dave said and she followed him.

They check into a hotel room, because of the heavy rain.

When they get in the room, Dave gives his extra shirt to Ava.

"Here, you change first!" Dave handed her a shirt.

"Thanks." Ava said and she slowly put her bag and book on the table.

Then walk to the bathroom.

Meanwhile, Dave calls her Mom to tell that they can't go home right now, because of the heavy rain and difficulty finding a cab at this hour.

"Okay Mom, bye!" he hung up.

Ava walks out from the bathroom, and Dave is shocked by Ava's appearance.

She looks sexy on that shirt. The shirt was length above her knees. Her white and smooth skin with long legs is showing in front of his eyes.

Ava, slowly sits down at the side of the bed.

Dave, get the towel and put it in the head of Ava and help her to dry her hair.

"I can manage." Ava said.

Then Dave sighed and stopped and walked out to the bathroom.

When he's back, he looks outside and it's still raining. He looks at Ava, she is already asleep. He covers her with the blanket.

At midnight, Ava feels cold...

"Mom...Mom..."

Dave woke up from her whispering, he saw Ava and she felt cold. He touched her forehead and she has a fever.

He looks for some medicine in his bag and he feeds it to Ava.

Ava is chilling...

He lowered the air con and he also tried the other way. He hugged Ava so tight, to lower her fever. After a few minutes he also fell asleep.
