Berlin, Germany 2:00 am

A boy was running on the dark street wearing a plain white oversized shirt and white pants which had blood stains on it ,both old and fresh. He was running with bare feet, his body covered with bruises. He didn't know who he was, where he was, where to go, who those people hurting him were, why were they doing so , how to save himself, he knew nothing. The only thing he remembered was his name 'Jimin' and nothing else.

His whole body was screaming pain but he kept on running and running. He had to.

He didn't want to suffer anymore. He didn't want to let those disgusting people touch him. He wanted to run and run and keep on running. Those bad people were chasing behind him. They were really close.

Then there came a bright light and screeching sound of car tires which made him stop in the middle of the road. He couldn't run anymore. He fell down.

'Let it end like this. Let me die.' He thought.

He sat there without making any effort to move, shaking vigorously. He wanted to die and end this suffering and pain.

...JUNGKOOK'S POV...

It was a tiring day. I had meetings continuously and couldn't even blink an eye. I had to work my *** off.'Great it's 2 am now. I didn't even eat properly. Just wow!!' I thought to myself.

Me and my secretary were in car, going to airport and my secretary was continuously typing something. Probably my schedule for

tomorrow.

'Just let me sleep will ya?' I thought to myself slightly annoyed at the typing noise that she was making.I can't do anything other than thinking to myself.

I can't let my easygoing nature show in front of the others because they are all untrustworthy and liars.

''Secretary Oh, it's already so late, you don't have to work now. Take a rest."

' And let me take rest too.'

No need to worry about me Mr Jeon, I am not tired " Miss Oh said .

"But I am not able to rest because of the typing noise Miss Oh" I said getting restless.

"I am sorry Mr. Jeon. I will stop now. You can take a nap. I will wake you up when we reaches the airport."

"Hmmm" I just hummed.

'Thank God!' I swear I will never go to any business trip again. It's sooooo tiring.

I was about to close my eyes when the car suddenly came to halt.

'What the hell!!'

"What happened driver" I asked anger building up inside me.'Why can't you let me rest properly just for a few minutes!' I wanted to shout so bad but I am to tired to waste my breath.

"A b-boy fell i-in front of our car M-Mr Jeon" He said a bit scared.

"Oh God,just who the hell!?" I shouted while getting off the car.

"Just jump in front of another car if you want to die!!" I slammed the car door shut.

I looked in front on the road with rage filling my eyes but the view in front of me made the anger vanish and filled my heart with an unknown feeling.

'It's an angel! ' I thought. H-hey! Wait a minute what am I even thinking. Stupid brain.

I looked closely and saw that he was covered in bruises and was vigorously shaking. His painful eyes met with mine and I felt a pang in my heart. Suddenly I felt anger building up inside me for the person who hurt this beautiful angel.

'Who the hell dared to hurt such an angel!!' I could see him bleeding and covered in bruises.

'I need to take him to the hospital!'

"Hey! Are you okay?" I asked

'Seriously!? Of course he is not 'I didn't know what else to say and ended up asking such a stupid question.

"Umm...sorry for shouting earlier, let me.." I was trying to help him but then I heard him say something.

"Ah-..." He tried to to say something but his voice was stuck in his throat. I went near him and crouched down to his level in front of him. 'Wow! So beautiful..shit what am I even...

aish I need to help him first.'

Then I saw some people wearing black clothes running towards us.

'what the...hell?'

"Pl- please s-save me..... Ah-ahjusshi please!!" That boy started crying his eyes out, begging for my help.

'His voice..Wait wth ahjusshi!?'

"Listen I..." I was about to say something to him but his next action made me halt and my heart skipped a beat. He hugged me.

The boy started to cry harder and hugged me tightly, he was shaking a lot, trying to back away and run away from those people. I was taken aback from the sudden hug but didn't show it.

I swear, after seeing his reaction I am hundred percent sure that these people are the reason why this boy was in this state.

'I need to protect him at any cost' This was the only thing that came to my mind.

Those people stood in front of us and said "Give that boy to us. He is insane.He ran way from mental asylum. Thank you so much for your help. Our boss will reward you. Now please hand him over to us. He is dangerous and might harm you Mister." One of them said.

I guess he was leader of their group?

"T-That's not-t true!!! They h-hurt me ahjus-shi, pl-ease trust me!" The boy started crying even harder. "It's okay I trust you" I tried to soothe

him by whispering softly in his ear and patting his back.

One of them moved towards the boy. But I stood in between them. "And how do I know if you're saying the truth or not?"

'Never in a hundred years would I frickin' believe that this angel is insane'

"Just get out of our way kiddo! It's none of your business. Just give us the boy!" The man said while pushing me backward.

He pushed me, The Great Jeon Jungkook!?This prick surely wanna die.

"Oh! I won't and who the hell do you think you are calling a kiddo!!!" I punched him hard.

"How dare you!!! Fucking bastard .Kill this bast*d and drag that bit*h to master!!" That rude jerk shouted.

That's it there broke out a fight. They all started attacking me but whom did they think they were fighting? The Great Jeon Jungkook!!

Secretary Oh was calling the police and the driver? He ran away the moment the fight started.

'Twelve men, I can easily kick their asses.' I didn't learn kendo, taekwondo and karate for nothing.

It was an easy fight but I got punched a few times in between and my lower lip was bleeding. Well it's nothing.

I looked back and saw Miss Oh hugging the boy while trying to calm the crying boy.

I didn't like it.

I didn't like the boy being in someone else's embrace. I don't know why but I just didn't. I didn't know where this sudden feeling of possessiveness came from.

"Have you called the police Miss Oh?" I asked nearing them. "Yes sir! They are coming "

The police came.

"Hmm ok, explain the situation to them while I take this kid to hospital and cancel the flight ticket and tell dad that I will come a few days later". I told Miss Oh. " Ah and have you called the ambulance?"

"Yes sir" she said and left to explain the situation to the police.

I then kneeled down and softly called out to the scared boy. "Hey... umm I took care of those bad guys. Now you're safe. Let ahjusshi take you to the hospital hm?" I said and without waiting for any response picked him up in bridal style. It was already late, he needed treatment. He hugged me tightly and buried his head in the crook of my neck. "Th-thank.." and then he passed out.

"Hey! Hey!!" I tried waking him up but in vain.

"God I need to hurry! Where the fu*k is the ambulance!?"

Then I heard the sound of siren nearing us and understood that the ambulance has arrived.

'I can't let anything happen to him!'

I didn't know where this feeling of protectiveness came from but I liked it. All the tiredness and sleep vanished filling me up with something unknown. Something that I craved for too long.

'Minnie..... Minnie stop!!!'

'Haha....andwae!!!'

A little kid was running around in a beautiful garden, his giggles were like a soft Melody that no one can ever get tired of listening.

A woman was running behind him to catch him.

'Minnie you will get hurt! Don't run'

'I won't haha..' , the kid said while giggling.

'Oh.. I am tired! ' the woman exclaimed

'Eomma... Catch me hahaha...'

Suddenly the boy was left alone in space void of colours. Everything was black.

The boy was now locked in a dark room.

'NO!!! No, it can't happen. No, no, no' The beautiful eyes which once shone with happiness were now filled with tears. Tears were cascading down his eyes.

'Why are you crying baby?Now you're mine! Aren't you happy ?' The man approached the scared boy and gripped him tightly.

He started touching him inappropriately, forcing himself on the boy.

'No! Leave me!! Don't touch me!' The boy tried his best to get out of his hold but all of his tries went in vain and his pleas left unheard.

'Oh! How innocent you look but I know you like it.You will soon be begging for it baby...' the man whispered in the boy's ear.

' Leave me!!! Let me go!!!

Save me please!! Someone please!' The boy screamed with all his might but no one was there to listen, to help him.

...PRESENT...

Doctors and nurses rushed in and out of the ER.

"Prepare the OR! Quickly!"

"Incubate the patient!"

"Yes!"

"Doctor! The patient has stopped breathing!Heart rate has dropped to zero!"

"Keep giving him CPR.

Nurse! Bring the Defibrillator !"

Jungkook was outside, watching everything that was happening.

He felt bad for the kid and wished for him to be saved.

He watched quietly as the doctors took him into the OR.

' What in the world have you been through kid?' He thought to himself.

He couldn't help but stay by the side of this stranger.He had this urge to protect him.

Ring~Ring~

His phone started ringing.

"Hello, Eomma.." Jungkook answered with an absent mind.

" Jungkook, son, How are you? I heard there has been an accident. Are you badly hurt?Is it serious? " His mom bombarded him with questions.

' Secretary Oh!!...'

" No mom I'm not hurt at all.Would I be

answering your call if I was hurt huh?"

"Oh! That's a relief. Me and Taemin were so worried about you baby. Thank God you're fine"

Jungkook scoffed.

" I get that you were worried mom but don't tell me about that kid okay?

I know really well how worried he was.

I will tell you again mom, he is a pretentious son of a b*tch.Don't trust him too much.

"JUNGKOOK!!! HOW COULD YOU SAY SOMETHING SO AWFUL!!HE IS JUST A KID!!

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU CHOSE TO TRUST SOME WH*RE OVER YOUR BROTHER!!" His mom shouted.

" Oh! Now you care about that bastard more than your own son?"

" Jungkook! I've told you many times and am telling you again. Everything is in past. It was no one's fault and not at all fault of Taemin. Can't you at least try to be nice to him? What has gotten into you!?"

"I am perfectly fine and don't try to force me to accept him!" Jungkook said spitefully.

" Now that you've spoken so much I have understood that you are more than fine. Stay wherever you want and do whatever you want!" His mom said, annoyed and ended the call.

" I can't believe this!" Jungkook sighed, frustrated.

1 HOUR LATER

Secretary Oh arrived at the hospital after taking care of other matters.

"Mr Jeon, how is his condition?" she asked.

" Don't know yet."

Doctor came out of OR and approached them.

" Mr Jeon, the operation was successful. The patient might take a while to recover.

But there is something I need to tell to the family of the patient.."

"I do not know who his family is doctor but I hope you know who I am and also kno that I am reliable. You can tell me. I have decided to take care of him until his family shows up."

"Ok then, please come into my cabin."

"Yes. Miss Oh, take care of all the formalities and go back to the hotel. No need to overwork. Please take a good rest.I will come later."

" Yes. Thank you Mr Jeon" Miss Oh said simply, bowed a little and walked away.

' Tsk. Couldn't she even tell me to finish everything quickly and take a rest? I am literally working with a robot.'

Inside the Jeon Residence

Taemin heard it all. He was standing outside the study of his mom.He heard every bit of the conversation between his mom and brother.

Even though he couldn't hear what his brother said clearly but still, he knew.

' Why do you hate me so much hyung?'

He felt heart broken. He blamed himself for causing a fight between a mother and a son.

He just wanted a complete family. Mrs Jeon was so loving and caring mother. She accepted him, even if he is not her son.

But he couldn't win Jungkook's trust.

' I'm sorry hyung .. But I hope you will accept me as your brother one day.' Tears that he was holding in escaped his eyes.

He quickly ran back to his room as he didn't want to be seen like this
