Chapter 1
JJ happily greeted Brett when she saw him entering their house.
Brett greeted her as if she was someone he doesn’t plan to speak with.
JJ smirked. His indifference didn’t stop her from throwing herself at him. She cling her arms on his arms as she whispered in his ear.
Brett obviously forced a smile and gently removes her hands wrapping around his.
He cleared his throat and suddenly asked,

“𝐀𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐦! 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫?”
JJ Dean
“𝐇𝐞 𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦.”
Before JJ could protest, he immediately run upstairs as if a demon is chasing him.
JJ stomped her feet in frustration. She went directly to the kitchen and pesters her mom instead.
As soon as her mom noticed her, she shook her head.

JJ hugs her mom and rested her chin on her shoulder.

“𝐈𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐦𝐨𝐦? 𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰 𝐈’𝐯𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐈 𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐦𝐲 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐦. 𝐇𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐢𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞.”

“𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐟𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐥𝐝 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐞𝐲𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐢𝐦.”
JJ agreed with her mom for once. She smiled as she remember their first encounter and then she says,

Her mom shouted in disbelief.

JJ Dean
𝐒𝐨 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭? 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐠𝐞, 𝐧𝐨 𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐭; 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐨 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡.
JJ laughed as her mom raises her hands telling her that she’s done with her.
A loud thud caught both of their attention. They turned around and saw Joaquin, JJ's father, standing not far from them.
There is this stupefied reaction on his face.
Before they could react, her dad runs toward her and hugs her senseless.

“𝐍𝐨, 𝐦𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐲 𝐉𝐉, 𝐈 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐠𝐮𝐲 𝐭𝐨 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲.”
JJ Dean
“𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲! 𝐋𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞 𝐠𝐨. 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧’𝐭 𝐛𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞.”
JJ pleaded. She tried to get away from her father's tight grasp.
She then looks at her father who was teary-eyed. He looks like a puppy.
JJ Dean
“𝐃𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲, 𝐈 𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐬𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡.”
She finally was able to greet her father whom they haven’t seen in 2 months.

Chapter 2
Joaquin haven’t seen his family for two months due to his business trips. He rushed to see his lovely daughter; but what the hell did he hear? His brat is already thinking of marrying another guy! Gone were the days she used to say she’s going to marry daddy in the future.

“𝐉𝐉, 𝐈 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.”

“𝐈’𝐦 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠.”
JJ crossed her arms. She was quite annoyed with her father.
JJ Dean
“𝐈’𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐧𝐲𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞.”
Joaquin smiled and raised his hands signaling his defeat.

“𝐎𝐤𝐚𝐲, 𝐨𝐤𝐚𝐲, 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐰𝐨𝐧. 𝐃𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲'𝐬 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐝𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲 ”
JJ then gave her father a warm smile. She was about to hug her father when she saw Brett running away on her peripheral vision.
She run after him, faster than the wind itself, and stops his tracks.
Brett almost stumbles but regained his balance eventually. He combs his hair in frustration. Sure enough he was about to lose temper but JJ couldn’t care less.

JJ calmly replied as she wrap around her arms on his neck.

JJ move closer until her lips reach his ears and she whispered in a soft seductive voice,

Brett annoyed with her boldness, push back her head.

JJ put her fingers on Brett lips and gently caressed it.

“𝐄𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬, 𝐈 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐰𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐬 𝐢𝐭.”
Brett moved away from her. She was surprised however she still managed to make a cute face and gave him a wink.
He looks at her with such incredulous reaction.

Minutes later, he burst into a heartily laughter. JJ felt so satisfied seeing him smile.
