The sound of footsteps can be heard, followed by an opening of a door. Room 312. The room has gigantic windows allowing you to see the blue sky and the clam clouds.

There were 6 people in the room—Oda Kubo—Riku Matsuo—Akane Kichiro—Maiyuu Susumu—Shou Yasuo—026.

“026 all the missions have been completed.” Riku said.

026 had not moved from his position that was sitting while staring at the sky.

“Very good.” 026 said.

026 got up at once and startled everyone.

“Oh god my back is killing.” 026 said.

“That scared me.” Riku mumbled.

“Ah..”

“Why are you guys just standing there?” 026 asked with a displeased face.

“Ah.. Yes sir!” Everyone said at once.

Everyone went over to 026 at once and gave him a massage.

“Thank you all.” 026 said.

“Ahem.”

“I actually have another mission for you all.” “I must apologize for the sudden amount of work I have pushed on you all.” “However you know..”

Everyone moved closer to 026 to listen to what he had to say.

“Some people here are lazy.. like Ryo..” 026 said.

“Ah. Pfft.” Everyone laughed.

“So what are the missions for this week?” Oda asked.

“Actually, there’s only going to be one mission this week, and there’s only going to be one.” 026 said.

“Only one?!? Hurray!” Maiyuu said with exciment.

“Ah but-”

026 was cut off by Maiyuu’s excitement.

“I wonder what I should do after we finish the mission.” “Oohh maybe I should go shopping.” “Anyone wanna go with me?”

“The mission is going to take around 4 months..” 026 finished saying.

“Hah.. Hahahaha…” Maiyuu laughed in disappointment.

“You should’ve just let him finish.” Oda said.

“Haha..” Maiyuu continued to laugh before dropping to the ground.

“Don’t worry she’ll be fine.” Oda said.

“Can you tell us more info about this mission?” Riku asked.

“Ah! Yes.” 026 said.

“This week’s mission is at Takuya High School.” “There have been reports about a ghost that can fly and walk through walls.”

“Hmm.. at a high school.” Oda muttered.

Maiyuu jumped up and asked with excitement “A high school?!?”

“There she goes again..” Riku said worriedly.

“How are we going to use our powers if our mission is at a school?” Oda asked.

“Ah, about that.. you actually won’t been using your powers.” 026 said.

“Ha?” Oda questioned.

“What? Then what’s the purpose for us being there?” Riku asked.

“Your going to catch that ghost who can supposedly walk through walls and fly.” 026 said.

“Huh? So now we’re the ghostbusters?” Oda asked sarcastically.

“How are we supposed to catch that ghost without our powers?” Maiyuu asked.

“Well, first I want you guys to investigate. Then after you find the ghost I want you to report back to me and we’ll handle it from there.” 026 said.

“But can’t you just investigate without our help?” Oda asked.

“The others have been wrapped up with other stuff, and lately we’ve been running out of people here.”

The room was filled with silence and grief.

“Sir.” Akane said.

“Ah, yes?” 026 responded.

“Will it be a problem that I’ve been to Takuya High School before? Akane asked.

“Eh? You went to Takuya High School?” Riku asked.

“Hmm.. that shouldn’t be a problem.” “Ah, but you will be going under a pseudonym name. “But you have changed a lot from then so I’m sure they won’t notice you.” 026 said.

“I see.” Akane said.

“When will we begin?” Shou asked.

Everyone jumped in shock because Shou hadn’t talked for the whole time.

“Tomorrow.” 026 answered.

“What!? Tomorrow?!” Both Oda and Maiyuu asked.

“Yes. We don’t have any time to lose so I hope you solve this mission out quickly.” 026 said.

“I hope they solve that mission out quickly as well.” 026 muttered.

“Eh? Are those new students?”

“Dunno I’ve never seen them here before.”

“Maybe their foreigners, they have weird hair and eye colors.”

“It looks like we’re attracting a lot of attention.” Oda said.

“Well, there’s nothing we can do about it.” Riku added.

“Hmm, hey what class are you guys in?” Maiyuu asked.

“I’m in 2-B, Mr. Nishi’s class.” Riku said.

“Eh? How come I’m in class 3-C?” Maiyuu asked.

“They put us all in different classrooms so that we have a better chance catching the ghost.” Oda answered.

“Let’s see.. I have class 2-A, Mrs. Misaki.” Oda said.

“What about you two?” Oda asked.

“3-A.” Akane said.

“3-B, Mr. Teijo.” Shou said.

“Alright, we should be going to our classes now.” Riku said.

“See you guys.”

2-B

“Alright class, today we have a new student.” Mr. Nishi announced.

“Hey aren’t there a lot of new students today?”

“Yeah my friend just texted me and she said there was a new student in her class too.”

“Hello, I’m Kei Tatsuo.” Riku said.

“Wow he’s quite handsome.”

“Golden eyes? Are those contacts?”

Riku’s thoughts: We should’ve gotten disguises.

“Alright class settle down.” Mr. Nishi said.

2-A

“Hello, I’m Jin Yuji.” Oda said with a smile.

All hell broke loose once Oda stepped in the classroom. The screams of fangirls were audible even outside the school.

“Ugh youngsters these days.” Mrs. Misaki said shaking her head.

3-C

“Hello! I’m Mai-” “Eh.. uh what was my name again?” “Was it Maki? No. Or was it Makino?” “Ahh, Tsk. What was it?” Maiyuu muttered.

“Hey, do you think there’s something wrong with the new girl?”

“I don’t know, seems like she forgot her name.”

“Hey! Let me tell you, all the hot chicks are dumb.”

“Huh? What do you even know.”

“Hey Ms. Sachiko! What’s wrong with the new girl?”

“Umm.. Mayumi? Is there something wrong?” Ms. Sachiko asked.

“Oh! That’s right my names Mayumi!” Maiyuu announced.

The classroom was silent until one of the boys started hysterically laughing which made the whole classroom laugh along.

“Haha.. this new girl is a real comedian!” One boy yelled.

Maiyuu’s thoughts: Phew.. I thought I blew my cover already.

3-A

The classroom was filled with conversations while the teacher was no where to be seen.

“Hey where do you think Mr. Minoru is?”

“Hmm, who knows.”

“He probably had another fight with his wife this morning.”

“Haha! True!”

Akane stepped inside the room which made everyone go silent.

“Hey who is she?”

“Hey, um I think your in the wrong class. Everyone in this class is ugly.”

“Way to self report yourself. Haha.”

“3-A.” Akane said.

“Oh wait! She must be one of the new kids!”

“What?!?”

“Wow. She’s really pretty.”

“Not as pretty as our school princess though!”

“What are you talking about? Of course this girl..uh… What’s your name?”

“Mina.”

“Mina is way prettier than Yuka!”

“Huh? But you just met her!?”

“You don’t need to get to know someone to know that they’re beautiful.”

Akane’s thoughts: The teacher is late. I should make a note of this.

“Hey new girl! Come sit over here!”

“Her names Mina.”

“Yeah yeah whatever.”

A flashback of what 026 said came into Akane’s mind.

“You guys should try and act like normal high schoolers as much as possible—try and make friends with people to find out more information about the ghost.”

3-B

“Please introduce yourself.” Mr. Teijo said.

“Sato Hiro.” Shou said.

“Wow he’s so cute!”

“He’s totally my type!”

“Alrigh alright. Just because we have a new student that doesn’t mean we don’t have work to do.” Mr. Teijo said.”

3-A

“Oh by the way, my names Yuki, and this is Suri.” Yuki said.

Akane stayed silent.

Yuki looked at Akane in a annoyed way before saying, “What are you? A robot?”

“Hey stop it Yuki! Maybe she’s just shy.” Suri said.

Akane stayed silent once again.

“Or.. maybe she is.” Suri whispered.

Akane got up at once which surprised everyone in the room.

“A-Ah. Sorry!” Suri apologized.

“Is there a ghost here?” Akane asked.

Everyone in the room looked at her.

“Who’s the ghost?” Akane asked directly.

The room went silent.

The sinister looks on their faces surprised Akane.

“Haha. Your funny!” Everyone started laughing.

Akane’s thoughts: There’s something off.

3-B

“Uhm excuse me, Mr. Teijo?” Another teacher said.

“Huh? What is it?” Mr Teijo answered.

“The principal needs you.” The teacher said.

“Are kidding me?”

“I’m in the middle of teaching.” Mr. Teijo said. “Here watch the class for me.”

“WOO!”

“Finally he’s gone!”

“Yay!”

“Hey Sato, was it?”

“Come over here.”

The group that called him over had 6 people—3 girls and 3 boys.

Shou went over to them.

“Wow. He really is a hottie.” One of the girls said.

“Yuka, don’t make me have to tell Rio about this.” One of the guys said.

“Oh come on Itto! It’s just a compliment.” Yuka said.

Shou’s thoughts: So he is Itto. And that girl is Yuka.

“Alright alright.” Itto said.

“Let’s introduce ourselves.”

“I’m Itto.”

“And I’m Yuka.”

“I’m Ai!”

“Yo, I’m Aoi, I’m Ai’s twin.”

“Hello! I’m Ayami”

“Ahem. Naoto it’s your turn.”

“Oh. Sorry, I was just finishing this level.”

“I’m Naoto.”

2-B

Riku’s thoughts: So far everything has been normal.

“Alright. That’s all for today.” Mr. Nishi said.

Riku’s thoughts: Huh? Isn’t there still 20 minutes left of class?

“Ah.. Finally!”

“Let’s go.”

Riku’s thoughts: Wait.. Where are they all going?

“Hey should we bring the new kid?” Someone whispered.

“It’s best to wait for her command.” Another person whispered.

3-C

Maiyuu slept through the whole class and when she woke up she found the class empty.

“Huh?”

“Where did everyone go?”

“Wait! Don’t tell me I’m late!”

Then Maiyuu caught a glimpse at the clock.

“What? There’s still 20 minutes left of class.”

2-A

Oda’s thoughts: Nothing out of ordinary.

Oda’s thoughts: Is there even a L.O.A.H here? It seems like it’s just some lousy rumor.

Just a little after Oda’s thought—people could be heard in the hall.

“Are kidding me? Can’t they be quieter if they’re gonna skip class!?” Mrs. Misaki said in annoyance.

Mrs. Misaki opened the door and yelled, “Hey!”

However the noise was silenced once she opened the door and no one was in the halls.

“Huh?” “Did they get away?” Mrs. Misaki asked.

Oda’s thoughts: Or maybe it’s not just a lousy rumor.

3-A

Akane’s thoughts: Since the teacher isn’t here and it seems like he’ll never be coming—I should go look for him.

Just as before Akane was going to leave the classroom she was stopped by a tall guy with orange hair.

“Where are you going?” He asked.

“I need to use the restroom.” Akane answered.

Everyone stared at Akane with sinister eyes.

Akane’s thoughts: Seems like they won’t be letting me out any time soon.

“Hey.” Akane said.

“Can you move?”

“Hah. You’ve been suspicious all this time.”

“I won’t be letting you leave.”

“Ha?”

Akane sighed and said, “It’s a girl thing.”

“Huh?” The guy stared at her with confusion.

The girls in the classroom realized what was going on.

“Ahem.”

“Yu, let her go.” One girl said.

“Huh? Why?” He asked.

“Didn’t she just say it’s a girl thing?” The girl asked.

“What?”

“Oh my god! You idiot just let her go!” Another girl said.

One guy sighed and said, “God. He truly is an idiot.”

“What?!? Why are you all ganging up on me?!” Yu asked.

“Fine!” He said.

Akane’s thoughts: Finally.

After leaving the classroom in search for the teacher Akane bumped into Riku.

“It seems like the others are still at their classrooms” Riku said.

Akane nodded and said, “My teacher seems to be missing.”

“Mr. Nishi left 20 minutes early, as well as the students.” Riku said.

Riku sighed and said, “This is going to be a lot harder since the only communication we have is from phone.” “And it’s not guaranteed that the others will answer their phone.”

Then a loud scream could be heard.

“A-Ah, I-I’m sorry!” “It won’t happen again I swear!”

“Hah.” “Won’t happen again?” “Oh please!” “You all say the same thing.”

“I-I swear!”

“Erika! Please spare me!” The girl cried.

“How dare you say me name! You filthy peasant.”

“You should know your place.” “You betrayed me yet ask for mercy?” “HAH!” “How funny is that?”

The girl continued to beg for mercy.

“I wonder how you even managed to escape my mind control.”

“Hey. Tell me. Unless you don’t want to be spared.”

“I-I’ll tell you everything..!”

“It seems like there’s a traitor.” “Hey you.”

“Y-Yes?”

“What’s your name again?”

“Hiromi.”

“I’ll spare you this time Hiromi.” “But if this happens again then you’ll never see daylight.”

“Now.” “It’s time to find that traitor.”

“You may leave now.” “Shoo.”

“Y-Yes.”

After the girl left another girl came in.

“Kaori!” “Its been a while!”

“Y-Yes it has Erika.”

“Did you hear what was going on?” “There’s a traitor!”

“O-Oh is that so..” Kaori said nervously.

“Yes..” “Perhaps, you know who it is?” Erika said staring at Kaori.

“I-I have no idea who it is.” Kaori answered.

“Hm…”

“Oh, by the way..”

“I’ve been meaning to ask you something Kaori.”

“What is it?” Kaori asked.

“When.. did you escape my mind control?” Erika said with an eerie expression.”

“W-What..?”

“Didn’t we agree that you won’t use mind control on me..?” Kaori asked nervously.

“We did.” “But you know.. I never keep promises.” “So I used mind control on you.” “But you know what’s weird?”

“Heh..” Erika laughed.

“I can’t control you even though I used mind control!” Erika said.

“E-Erika..”

“So.. don’t tell me your the traitor!”

“After all my dear friend. This was your idea, you can’t betray me now.”

“Now, tell me, my dear friend.”

“How did you escape it?”

Once Riku and Akane went to where the scream came from they noticed that it was Maiyuu’s classroom.

A conversation between 2 people could be heard in the classroom.

“AHH HELP ME!” “PLEASE!”

“This is your punishment.” “I’m sorry Yuna.”

“NO! PLEASE SAVE ME!”

The girl continued to cry.

Both Riku and Akane have each other the look. They went inside the classroom and saw a girl on the ground crying with blood. The other girl was holding a knife dripping with blood.

Riku and Akane were shocked as well as the girl with the knife.

“W-What are you doing here?” The girl with the knife asked.

“What are you doing!?” Riku asked.

“I-I w-was t-t-told to-”

“SAVE ME!” The girl cried.

“What the hell is going on..” Riku said.

“H-HELP IM BEING CONTR-”

Before the girl could even finish her sentence she fainted.

“Y-Yuna!”

“Y-Yuna please I’m sorry!”

“Yuna!”

“Riku.” Akane whispered.

“Can you deal with them while I make a call.” Akane asked.

“Alright.” He said.

While Riku was dealing with the girls inside the classroom, Akane was making a call to Maiyuu.

“The number you have dialed-”

Akane sighed and sent a text to Maiyuu: “Where are you? Please come to class 3-C when you have the chance.”

“Any luck?” Riku asked.

Akane shook her head.

Riku sighed and said, “What’s she even doing?”

“What happened to that girl?” Akane asked.

“It looks like she just fainted and her friend is crying which is strange because she was the one who inflicted those injuries on her.” Riku answered.

“I’ve been trying to get her to answer my questions but all she does is cry.”

Akane walked over to the girl and her friend.

“Your friend is inured.” Akane said.

The girl ignored Akane and kept crying.

“Why don’t you take her to the nurse?” Riku asked.

The girl said, “There is no more nurse! No more nothing!”

“Huh?” “What are you talking about?” Riku asked. “Isn’t the nurse’s office just around the corner?”

“Like I said, there’s no more nurse.” The girl said while crying.

“I can help you.” Akane said.

“Akane-” Riku said.

“Don’t worry, I’m just gonna use bandages.” Akane said.

“Alright.” Riku said.

“Ah but I don’t have any.” Akane said.

“Huh?” Both Riku and the girl said.

“I’m going to the nurse’s office.” Akane said.

“B-Be careful.” The girl said.

“It’s just the nurse’s office.” Riku said.

“Riku stay here with them.” Akan said.

“Huh? Oh, alright.”

“Thank you.” The girl said.

As Akane left the classroom she checked her phone to see if Maiyuu answered her text. Unfortunately Maiyuu did not which made Akane worried.

As Akane walked to the Nurse’s office she noticed how silent the halls were and the empty classrooms, except for one—3B, Shou’s class.

“Eh? Akane, what are you doing here?”

It was a familiar voice. It was Maiyuu.

“Maiyuu?”

“Why didn’t you answer the phone?” Akane asked.

“Eh? Oh.. I had my phone turned off.” Maiyuu answered. “Heh..sorry..”

Akane sighed and said, “You scared me.”

“So where are you headed?” Maiyuu asked.

“The nurse’s office.” Akane answered.

“Eh? Why?” Maiyuu asked.

“I’ll explain along the way.” “Just follow me.” Akane said.

“So what’s up? You injured? Ah well you can just heal yourself using your power so..” Maiyuu said.

“My power is not intended for healing.” Akane said.

“While I’m not injured there is someone in your own class who is.”

“In my class?” Maiyuu asked.

“Well, I’m not sure if they are from your class but they were in your classroom.” Akane replied.

“How were they injured?” Maiyuu asked.

“It’s complicated. Once we get back I’m sure they will explain.” Akane said.

“They?” Maiyuu said.

“There’s two people. I’m not sure what was going on but once we get back we’ll figure things out.” Akane said.

“How do you think the others are doing?” Maiyuu asked.

“Riku is with the two people right now. Shou is still in class right now, I just passed by his class and Oda’s status is unknown.” Akane said.

“Help me find some bandages.” Akane said.

“Found them.” Maiyuu said.

“Let’s head back.” Akane said.

“Shouldn’t we bring Shou with us?” Maiyuu asked.

“I don’t think the teacher is in any of the classrooms.” Maiyuu said.

Akane’s thoughts: Thats right! I was supposed to find the teacher and I said I had to use the bathroom. I wonder if they’re looking for me.

Akane’s thoughts: What I have concluded so far is that the teachers are disappearing somewhere. And it looks like some of the students are also disappearing considering that there is no one in the halls. However, Shou is still in class. Oda also must be in class.

“We can get Shou.” Akane said.

“What should we do if he’s in the middle of class?” Maiyuu asked.

“I doubt it. You can hear the students fooling around.” Akane said.

“Here take the bandages and bring them to class 3-C, Riku will take care of the rest.” Akane said.

“I’ll get Shou and we’ll go to class 3-C and hopefully we’ll get an explanation.”

“After that we’ll look for Oda.”

“Gotcha Captian!” Maiyuu said.
