"GOOD MORNING JIA"

"So, Jia, Did you brush your teeth if yes then have your breakfast "

"Ugh mum I am not that little 5 years old Jia ,that you have to remind me of brushing my teeth "😑

Then the two started having their breakfast together.......

Jia is a 15 years old teenage girl who lives with her single mother, Ms Judy, in a small town called PALMLAND....She loves her mother but also she respects her more.Jia was only 3 years old when her parents got divorced and separated . She was very young ,that's why her custody was given to her mother and from that time till now Jia lives with her mother at a small rented house.Ms Judy is eventually a working woman and Jia is also doing a part-time job at a city library as she doesn't want her mother to feel burdened because of her and also, she loooves reading books and gaining knowledge.

After having her breakfast Jia said to mother,

"Okay mum ,I am going to school and after that I will go straight to the library because Era will not be able to come to library so only I and Shaun will be there ,bye , see you"😊

"OK no problem love, work hard"😁

Before leaving ,Jia hugged her mum and left for school and after some time Ms Judy also left for work.

At Ms Judy's office, She was sitting on her desk and working on some stuff on computer that suddenly her friend popped out of nowhere and greeted her while giggling .

"Aaaah!!! God, Neena ,you scared me to death today, Again"😳

"Hahahaha, My day will never start if I will not scare you, hahahah"🤣

"So how's Jia"?

"Yeah She is great, she went to school "

"I must say your daughter is very different from other children, she is very understanding and hardworking"

"Well Thank you but why so suddenly, you started talking about Jia? Hmm hmm did you again got into an argument with your son"?😐

"ummmmmmmm no but I just felt like saying it, Judy you are very lucky that you got Jia as your daughter"!!!!☺

After listening to Neena's words Judy just nodded while working on her computer........

At school, Jia is sitting beside one of her friends Shaun.Jia doesn't have much friends from the beginning. Only Era and Shaun are her friends at school and they also work together at the library as part-timers. She feel very much like family with them.

"Jia, I think after finishing today's work at library we should go meet Era",Shaun said while taking a book out of his bag.

"Well, yes definitely we should, she is not feeling well from 2 days now , we must pay her a visit today and also we will take something for her....... something healthy to eat"🙂

"Yes, that will be great"

"Oh the teacher is here"

And the day at school started......

After the end of the day at school ...........

"Hey Shaun, you should wake up now, we have to leave for library one hour early today, don't forget" 😑

"Oh yeah I didn't forget, I was just resting my neck .Ummmmm well do we have to leave right now"?😅

"Of course dude".......🙄

And both of them left for their part-time job ......

At Ms Judy's office, She is having her snacks at the cafeteria with Mrs. Neena.

"OK so tell me what is your son doing these days ? I guess he will have to go to the US again. Huh"??

"Well, I think yes ,yesterday ,he was talking on his phone, I guess with his US team's head about some important project that they have to complete in 2-3 Months"

"Oh that means, he will be in the US for 3 or more than 3 months,God what a tough life your son has"!!🙁

"Hmm yes it's true, his life is hard but he enjoys doing his work as he has chosen his occupation himself"😊

"Yes yes it's also true"☺

"Ms Judy, Mrs. Neena, boss is calling you two, please go see him"😊

"OK thank you for informing us"😊said Neena while smiling at the peon.

At the library, Both of them, Jia and Shaun are working hard..........As they should 🙂

"Excuse me, can you please help me, I am not able to reach that book" ,a little boy asked for help to Jia.

"Oh yes ,wait ,let me bring the portable stairs first, then I will give you the book you want, ok ?! Wait here for me"

And the boy nodded his cute little head twice with a biiiiiiiig smile..........

"There you go Mr. ummmmmmm ,What's your name dear"? 😅

"My name is Oro"😄

"wow that's a sweet name, Oro !!So, do you want to buy this book or would you like to rent it ,hmm"?

"Umm, I will take on rent, how much "?

"Ohkey so you have to pay...........see this is the bill"!!😊

"OK thank you ma'am "😃

Jia just smiled at that little cute boy and waved at him........

Suddenly ,Shaun came to her and said that they should leave now as its getting dark and no more customers are coming, so they took permission from the librarian and went to Era's house to meet her.

Before reaching her house they bought some fruits with them...... 🍌🍎🍏🍊🍇🍓🍒🍑🍐🍉🍈🍍🥝🥑

"Hey girl, how have you been, huh"?😊 said Shaun while smiling at her.....

"Hey guys, ummm I am feeling good today, maybe from day after tomorrow I will be coming to school and library too"😊

"Oh that's good to hear,here we brought some fruits for you, there are oranges, apples and bananas"😀😀Jia said while passing the bag full of fruits to Era"

"God, there are already so many fruits at my house, whenever someone comes to see me they buy fruits for me, I mean someone should bring....... like something spicy too. hmph"!!😕😑

"First, you have to get better then we will give you treat" Shaun said this while looking at Era........

Then they spent some time together at Era's house and after 1 hour Jia and Shaun left .............

"Hmmmm I hope Era will get better soon, she is very goofy, I like when she teases us, especially when she tease you , hahahahahahah"!!!! Jia said while laughing at Shaun.. 😂

"Well ,to be honest, I don't like when she tease me"!!😡😑

"hahahahahahah"!!!!!😂😂😂😂😂

"Hmm, your house is here, bye Jia"!!Shaun said while waving at her.......

Jia also waved at him and went inside, she washed herself, wore her nightsuit and came to the kitchen . She was a little bit surprised after seeing all the food on the table.Then she saw a note on the lid of a bowl........

"Jia I will not be able to join you for dinner today, I am sorry for that but I have to stay at the office tonight for sometime.I will be home after 12 .Just eat your dinner , study, do your homework and sleep,no need to do the dishes,ok"!!😊❤ ------ MUM!!

This was written on the note....... Jia read it and then had her dinner and even though her mother told her not to do the dishes....... she did it 🙂 then went to her room did her homework and made some notes and after that she went to bed...........

...... she went to bed.....

The next day when Jia woke up, she got out of her room and went to her mother's room but her mother was not there, Jia thought that her mom must be in the kitchen cooking breakfast but when she opened the door of the kitchen ,her mother was not there too. She searched the whole house, the bathroom, toilet, garden but all in vain, there was no trace of her mom. Jia thought that maybe her mom went out to a grocery store to buy something so she decided to wait for sometime..........

Now, it's almost an hour Jia is still waiting for her mother. Suddenly, Jia heard a sound ,it was the sound as if someone is trying to open the main door of the house. She got so much scared, she started to sweat. She knew that this is neither her mother nor her friends Shaun or Era. And the landlord doesn't live in the same house ,they are living in some other town. Jia was THAT scared, that she started imagining some terrible scenarios in her mind. But, then a voice came from behind the main door, it was the voice of some middle aged man. After hearing, Jia stepped out of her room and asked, "Wh who i-is this, there is no elder in ----- the house right now so can you please com--me come later"?! in a frightened and shaking voice ........

Then the man said from behind the door, "Who are you, do you know Ms Judy"?

Jia was surprised that the man knows her mother. She said, "Yes ,I am Ms Judy's daughter, Jia but how do you know my mother"?

She was waiting for the answer but no voice came out, so she opened the door slightly and saw no one there. She was in confusion because her mom used to tell her that she doesn't know anyone here except for her neighbors and Co-workers at the office. But Jia was not going to admit it that,that man was her mother's co-worker or any neighbor because of his weird behavior and she was thinking that if he was her mother's co-worker then why will suddenly run away after knowing she was her daughter...... and he cannot be any neighbor because all the neighbors know that Ms Judy has a daughter..........

She was forcing herself to think about it deeply.

Then, the door opened and this time it was her mom. After seeing her mother alright, she ran to her and hugged her tightly. Ms Judy got confused that why is her daughter not ready for her school .

"Why are acting so weird? What happened, why are you not ready for school"?

Jia was going to tell everything that happened but stopped herself. She thought that if she will tell her what happened today her mother will get tensed about it. So,

"Nothing much mum, I was just feeling alone and scared here. You were not in your room then I searched for you in the whole house but you were nowhere. So I got scared"

"Oh my little Jia !! Are you feeling OK now ,hm"?

"Yes ,much better now"!!

"that's good, now I think you should get ready for school, Ok"

"Yes mum, I will just take bath and then we will have our breakfast together"!...............

After Jia went to take bath her mother got a message from some number and she went out of the house and called someone.......

"Hello, this is my last warning to you" , someone said from the other side of the phone..

"You came here, right ?!! I am begging you to stop all this, please, please"!

"You, yourself put yourself and your daughter in this pit and now you have to SUFFER. Huh"!!!

"No, hel-hello, hello"????

After hanging up, Ms Judy thought, "Is this what is going to happen"?!

After having breakfast, both of them went to school and work ,

"Jia are you free today after school"?

"No mum, you know na I have to go to library, early"!

"Oh, but I thought if we could spend time together at home cooking some tasty food, hm? If you say ,I will take permission from the librarian for you ,Huh ? What say"?

"Umm the thing is that Era is not well from past 3 days and I and Shaun are doing all the work. If I will take a day off today, it will be a bit burdensome for Shaun, So I guess we should hang out some other day. OK mum ? Are you OK with this"?

"OK no problem, if you are being responsible, then it is a very good thing!! mum is proud of you"!!

"OK Jia Here we are.Your school. Go inside and study hard. Bye"!!

"Yes mum, bye. See you"!!!

"Did I do something wrong by not telling her what happened today at the house" ,She thought while going inside the school.

And after seeing her daughter going inside, Ms Judy also went to the bus stand .........

"Am I doing a something wrong"?? ,She asked herself while getting inside the bus ......

At Era's house, She is getting ready for school as well, as she is feeling totally well now......

"Hmm, I am feeling very happy to go to school after 2 days. No one knows that I am coming to school today, heheeh. It will be a surprise for them"!!!!

At school, As usual, Jia is sitting beside Shaun but she was silent the whole time so Shaun started a conversation first while asking.........

"What happened Jia, Are you ok"?

"hmm-ye-yes I am all good, why do you ask"?

"No, you are not talking about anything and you are just focused on the same page since 5 minutes now. So I thought if there is something wrong??If there is... then tell me, maybe I can help, Huh"?

"No, I am OK ,just --

"Just missing me, right Jia"?, a voice came from the classroom.Both of them turned to that side and saw Era posing like a queen who is back after winning a battle and is very proud of herself..

"Eraaaa, you are back. But are fully well now "? asked Jia.

"Yes, that's Why ,I am here, stupid"!!

"Yaaaaaay, come sit down, now"! said Shaun.......

Then all of them sat together and classes started. Then after sometime Jia remembered about her mother asking her to take a day off today from library. She wanted to tell Era and Shaun that she wants to take a day off but failed. Then after school and library, they went to a park and as Shaun promised Era, he treated them with snacks........but Jia was thinking about that incident the whole day, that happened today..........

After leaving from the park, they went to their houses, Jia went inside her room and this time her mother was also in the house. She took bath and then came to the kitchen for dinner.....

"So how was your day "?asked her mother

"Yeah, it was good and Era also came to school and library too. She is feeling well now. She wanted us to spend some time with her and enjoy so I was with her and Shaun"!!

"Oh, that's good I think you should not take day off for some days, Era may think something wrong"!

"Yes, you are right"!!

After having their dinner, Both of them did the dishes and went to rooms .......before sleeping Jia finished her school work.....after that ,

Jia thought, "Hmm I hope tomorrow will not be as weird and terrific as today"

... Weird and terrific as today..

After that day when the weird incident happened, some days went peacefully and Jia didn't tell anything about it to her mom and she even, almost forgot about the incident herself but Ms Judy still remembered about that message and phone call but didn't think about it deeply.

In the mean time, Jia and her mom also spent some time together at home cooking some of their favorite cuisines and watching movies. They were happy to be with each other after a very long time as Ms Judy was very busy with her office work and Jia was also busy because of school and library. Both of them took one day off from their work to spend time with each other. The days went over leaving behind some happiest memories for Jia .

After these happy days. In the morning, after doing their morning routine, Jia and her mom got ready to start their day. Before leaving for work and school, both ate their breakfast.

After reaching school, Jia was quite confused because everyone was looking at her and talking to each other about her but she was sure that whatever they are talking about her is not something bad as she heard someone saying that, "This girl is very lucky, I am getting jealous now. We also studied so hard, hmph"!! After hearing this, Jia was sure that it is regarding the studies, maybe she knew what it is...

Jia went to her classroom and sat down beside Shaun and Era. She was about ask why are all the students looking at her like this.........Everyone in the class were staring at her.

"Congratulations Jia, you did a great job"!! , Shaun said while passing a chocolate to Jia.......

"Yesssssssssss!! Congo Jia, I knew that you work hard but that much hard, I didn't know.. hehe"!!, Era said while patting Jia's shoulder......

"Ummmmmmmm, can you guys tell me what's happening, I am a little bit confused"??

"What!!! You don't know what's happening. Idiot!!!!! You've got a SCHOLARSHIP"!!!!!!!!!! , yelled Era while clapping her hands.......

Jia was stunned after listening to what Era said. She, at some point knew what's going on but after confirming it, she freezed and was in shock. She didn't say anything. She just put her hands on her mouth and sat down on her seat.........She just said one sentence,

"This is really happening, huh"!!!!!! and gasped in her excitement...

She was clearly very happy and excited to tell this to her mother......

"She will be very proud and happy after hearing this news"!!!!!, Jia thought while smiling brightly....

Every one in the class were congratulating Jia for her achievement ,when a peon came inside the classroom and asked Jia to come with her to the principal's office. And Jia left the classroom.

"May I come in, sir"?

"Oh Jia, yes please come inside"!!, Principal was also very proud of her ...

"So Jia, I hope that you got the news,hm"?? Asked the principal while smiling at Jia.

Jia knew what was he talking about and she quickly nodded her head while feeling very happy and excited.......

"See,Now you have to make an important decision and after hearing me, you can tell me if you actually want to do this or not, ok"!?

Now, Jia was getting confused and nervous when she heard what the principal said but answered

"yes sir, sure ,please continue"..

Then the principal continued to say,

"Jia, you have got a scholarship and it is a very proud moment for this school . ahem!! As you know that our school is just a small branch, the main and higher branch is in some other state. I hope you are getting me. In simple words, I am trying to say that you will have to go to that higher branch school as a transfer student. Ummm and if you want to do so , then your school fees will be cancelled. The facility which you don't have here will be given to you in that school. But you have to think wisely as these type of opportunities don't come everyday. After school ,just go to your mother take some advice and then do what you want to do,ok !! And don't force yourself to do it if you don't want to,hm"!!

"Yes sir, I will discuss this with my mother today then tomorrow, I will tell you my decision. Thank you sir"!

"Hmm, you can go to your classroom now"...

While returning to her classroom Jia was in deep thinking that what should she do as she really wanted to go to that higher branch school but she was scared if her mother would say no ......

After Jia came back to her classroom, Era came to her and asked her,

"What happened, Huh? Why are looking like, as if something unexpected has happened, hm"??

"The principal said that if I will take the Scholarship then I will have to go to some other school as a transfer student and the school is in some other state of the country. He asked me to discuss this with my mother after school and then tomorrow I will tell him my decision. huuuuh"!!, Jia said while resting her head on the desk ....

"hmm, I see. I know you want to accept the scholarship but what do you think, will your mother accept this"?, Shaun said while looking at Jia.......

"Huh!! I think her mother will say a big YESSS "!!!!!! , Era said confidently while smiling at Jia and Shaun.

Both, Jia and Shaun ignored her words because they knew that Era is saying this just to make Jia feel comfortable.......but they didn't know that Era was actually CONFIDENT !!!!

After school, Jia was impatiently waiting for her mother to come home. She was so much in hurry to discuss this with her that she didn't even go to library that day.....When she heard her mother's voice, she came out of her room and went to her mum and asked her if she wanted a glass of water..... Ms Judy was talking on phone with someone and was thanking someone....... After she hung up the call, Jia gave her water and both of them sat down on the couch.

"Jia, I was thanking Era's mother. She was congratulating me for your scholarship and before that Shaun's parents also called me"...... Ms Judy said to Jia.......

"Oh, so you know it mum"!!, Jia said.

"Yes, but why are you here, you should be in the library right"??!!

"Umm I thought if you--

"Definitely Jia, You can go to the other state to study, it doesn't matter ,OK sweetie"!!

After hearing her mother's words, Jia stared crying and hugged her. She was relieved when she heared this. She really thought that her mum will say no but after this Jia got more confident, now she was more inspired and more focused on what she was doing. Jia's goal was to become an international Lawyer.......... and now when she was aware that her mother is supporting her, made her more focused in achieving her goal........

Then Ms Judy said that they should celebrate this big achievement of Jia. She asked Jia to get ready and said that they will go out for movie and will have their dinner at a best and expensive restaurant of the town and will enjoy the night out...........
