Mafia Involvement [Demon Slayer]
Episode 1: Finally Free
A boy got thrown back in his cell once they finished experimenting on him. He cough as his whole body trembling in pain. A girl run toward him and embrace the older male with a scared face.
Man 1
"You do a great job brat."
Man 2
"Come on hurry up, we don't have time wasting with them."
Nezuko
"N-nii-chan.... Nii-chan are you okay?"
Tanjiro
"Nezuko.... I-I'm fine, just... need a little rest."
He force a smile and pat his sister head to lessen her worried. Nezuko whimper still hugging him tightly, tears falling down from her dull eyes.
Nezuko
"Nii-chan... I'm scared, when will we free from here? I hate this place, I want to go outside."
Tanjiro
"I don't know. I don't know when or even if it's possible to get out of here."
Tanjiro
"But. I promise, I promise I'll protect you no matter what happend."
He embrace her small body ignoring the pain that creeping out through his whole body.
Tanjiro startled and turned his back when the cell suddenly wide opened while Nezuko hide her face on the older male thigh.
Man 2
"Here your food brats. Be thankful you get to eat today."
Without any sympathy he threw a bread and landed right next to his feet. He then left without word.
Tanjiro reached out the bread from the floor, Nezuko rised her head up and saw a bread in his hand. She swallow her saliva, her stomach has been rumbling in protest indicating she is hungry.
The last time they eat was 5 days ago, they wonder on how they can still survive from it up until now. It doesn't make any sense. The only thing they gave to them every day is water, nothing more.
Tanjiro
"The bread is too small. Nezuko you can eat this."
Nezuko
"But nii-chan! You're hungry too right? Let's share."
Tanjiro
"No... Nezuko, just eat it. It's okay, I'm not really hungry."
With guilty she eat the whole bread since Tanjiro insist, he just closed his eyes and smile. He gently brushed her hair then insert it behind her ear.
Tanjiro
(Because I need to stay strong for Nezuko.)
Tanjiro
(I'll do anything to protect you, even if it's mean dying.)
He remember. He clearly remember how they ended up in this hell. That time, Tanjiro was 4 years old while Nezuko is 2 when their parents brutally got killed. They then got kidnapped by them and until now, they keep on experimenting on them.
It make sense that Nezuko didn't remember anything because she was 2 years old that time and he somehow remember it until now.
This year... their age supposed to be 8 and 6 years old.
They look at the door prison with a pale face, the man roughly pulled Tanjiro away from Nezuko.
Before she can stop him, he quickly locked the prison back.
Nezuko
"No! Give onii-chan back-!"
She yelled in resentment.
The man ignored her and tightened the gripped in Tanjiro wrist making him wince. A bruise forme on his wrist showing how tight the man's gripped.
He slammed his body on the bed that automatically gripped his wrists and ankles. Tanjiro face went pale and unconscious whimper.
Man 3
"So he is the only one survive huh?"
Man 1
"Not only him but his sister too."
Man 3
"Heh~ the boy is quiet strong, I already like him."
He caress the poor boy cheek while Tanjiro's red eyes shakily looking at the man hand that keep on caressing his cheek. His body shivering in a mix of scared and disgust. To the point he wanted to throw up.
Man 2
"That's enough, don't disturb us. We are starting now."
Man 3
"Man.... You still don't change aren't you? Cold as ever."
Tears began to swell in his eyes when something injecting in his body. Soon, he felt his whole body is burning from inside. He cried on top of his lung while struggling to break free, the tears he held back falling down.
Tanjiro
"LET GO! LET GO OFF ME! AAH-!!
Man 3
"Heh, you right. He really is strong, if it was other brats all they did is crying and die."
Man 1
"Yes, yes we all know that. That's why 'he' favour him more than his sister. After all this brat became 'his' favourite."
Tanjiro
(He? Who are they talking about-? Argh...!)
Tanjiro
(I-Is it who I'm thinking- urgh!)
After a few hour, all the boy can do is gasping and crying in pain. His voice already long gone because screaming for too long.
Man 2
"Now, let's see if you can survive from this."
Man 1
"Ahh... you want to give him that thing, you know that all the kids ended up die once you gave to them."
Man 3
"This thing huh? The last time I saw you testing on the other brat, they die on the spot. Not even a second after you inject it on them."
Man 2
"You won't know unless you try. Furthermore, there is a chance for him to survive since he already gone this far."
Tanjiro weakly glance at the syringe fill with an odd mixture red and black colour. His heart began to beat in hectic as he felt a sudden uneasy.
Tanjiro
(What.... What the hell are they inject to me this time?)
Tanjiro
(It hurts...! It hurts! Stop!! Stop!!)
He arch his back and trashing around, his red eyes shrinking, sweating heavily.
Man 2
"Looks like he managed to survive after all."
Man 1
"Yeah, I'll be reporting to him."
Man 3
"Ahhh..... It's over already? Too bad."
Tanjiro face hidden behind his hair, he already stopped struggling. A dark aura slowly emitting by him, once the gripped on his wrists and ankle break. He jumped backward before the man could touch him.
Man 2
"Oi, brat. We don't have time playing with you."
He tilted his head and grinned widely.
Tanjiro(?) slowly showing his face. His eyes no longer red instead black, it stared at them cynically.
Meanwhile somewhere outside the lab,

"I already sneak up in their place, it's confirmed the Pazzo famiglia do experiment on children."
??
"Namu amida butsu. May the poor soul rest in peace."
??
"Don't worry, we will be heading there. Where is their base?"
Man 1: Don't let him escape! Seize him!
Tanjiro(?) turned his head back and stared at them blankly for a moment. His white clothes has been dirty by blood, he hold a knife coated by fresh blood tightly in his left hand.
His face darken before proceed to launch toward them, dodging and killing on his way.
After a while, he suddenly fell on his knees. His black eyes replaced with red back.
Tanjiro
"W-what happend...?"
His eyes shaking when saw the massacred, dead body is every where. But what make him more scared is his hands and clothes dirtied by blood.
Tanjiro
"D-did I.... Did I killed them?"
He breath heavily at that thought but soon discard it when remember something.
Without wasting anymore time, he run to find a key to unlocked the door. Once he found it, he opened the cell.
They hugged each other tightly, they're scared that one of them is die.
Nezuko
"Nii-chan... why are you bathing in blood?"
Tanjiro
"Something happened while I'm on my way to safe you."
Tanjiro
"Let's go. This is our chance to escape."
They held their hand tightly then start to run, Tanjiro stopped once a while when sense the people who running here and there. Searching for them.
It's not long when a loud crashes echoes in the lab, everyone went on alert. Tanjiro hide Nezuko behind his body. His eyes narrowed watching the two mans entered the lab.
A man with long blue hair pulled out his sword while the pink hair man brought out his gun. A moment of silent fill the air.
Until the pink hair man make a first move by shooting the people around him, killing them in instant. They then charged toward the intruders, the man with blue hair calmly slashed their body. Not showing any emotion.
Tanjiro gritted his teeth and covered his little sister eyes from the brutal scene. He doesn't want her to see this massacred.
It's not long when everything is over, Tanjiro body become tense. They seemed to look around as if searching for something.
He wanted to run away with his sister but his body won't respond.
Until they found them, Tanjiro quickly hide Nezuko behind his body with a pale face. His body unwillingly shivering, he glared at them. He already promise. He already promise he will protect her no matter what.

"I see you two survive. Thank goodness."
??
"If only we arrive earlier maybe we can safe the other children."
Tanjiro
"W-what do you want from us?"
??
(The kid have a gut to glared at us. Interesting. His clothes full of blood and there are died body on the lobby. He must have killed them.)
He narrowed his eyes at the boy.

(He has potential to be a mafia.)
As if knowing what the blue hair man thinking, he quickly face him in disapprove.
??
"No, Giyu. He still a child, we are not involving him in this cruel world."
Giyu
"Come on Sabito. They already involved in this world when they got captured by them. They can't never go back to their normal life."
Tanjiro
(What are they talking about? Are they talking about us? No.... The way they're talking sound like directing at me.)
Sabito
"Even so, there is still a chance for them to go back to their normal life. They're not meant to be in this world."
Sabito slowly approaching them while Tanjiro still on guard. He crotch down infront of them.
Sabito
"Hey, calm down. I don't have any attention to hurt you."
Sabito
"Do you remember where is your home? I'll send you back."
They slowly sook their head.
Tanjiro
"W-we don't have home. Our real parents got killed the last time I remember."
He said in shaky voice, his face is paler than before while Sabito shock hearing it. Giyu only watching without any mean to interfer. Sabito exhaled.
Sabito
"I see.... It can't be help, how about you two live with me? I promise, I'll take care of you."
Nezuko
"H-how can we trust you?"
Sabito
"You can gouge my eyes out if I hurt you."
Giyu who has been hearing all the time sweatdropped then sigh.
Giyu
"You freaking them out you know."
Sabito
"Haha! Just joking!"
Giyu
(Your dark humour is not funny for kids.)
Tanjiro
(It's not funny at all!)
Nezuko
(Not even a slightest!)
Sabito smiled softly making them a bit calm, they closed their eyes afraid that he going to hit them when he rised his hands up. They opened their eyes in confusion when the older male pat their head.
Sabito
"You're right, I can't promise nor guarantee you won't hurt."
Sabito
"But, I can promise you one thing I'll try my best to protect you."
Tanjiro
(He is being honest. I can feel it.)
She look at Tanjiro waiting for his decision, he think hard before slowly nod in agreement. They doesn't have home to go back. They're aimless. If they try to explore around, chance getting caught are high and he don't want to risk that.
Following them are dangerous too but the chance for them to escape is high.
Giyu
(What a naive kid but to be fair they're nowhere to go. So, they doesn't have any choice either way.)
Sabito
"I'm glad you accepted it. You two can rest easy now. You're not baring pain anymore."
Sabito
(At least for now....)
He continued mentally somber.
He carried Tanjiro and Nezuko in his arms, startling them. He noticed they look tired especially Tanjiro.
Sabito
"Sleep. You must be tired. It's alright, everything is over now."
He leaned his small body on Sabito and rest his head on the older male chest. His mind slowly drift away and soon fell asleep. Nezuko stared at her brother for a while, she still feel scared of them but if Tanjiro trust them. Then, she too can trust them. Nezuko fall asleep afterward.
Giyu
"You want to take care of them?"
Sabito
"You right Giyu, we really can't do anything about this. I'm sure the other mafioso have heard this."
Sabito
"If we didn't train them..."
Giyu
"That's why I said they're hopeless. They can't be safe from this world once they entered it. Willing or not."
Sabito
"Still. I want them to at least feel a normal life even for a while."
He look at the siblings in his arms, Giyu said nothing about it. He very well knew his friend has a soft spot for kids. They then went back to their mansion.

Episode 2: We Meet Again
Tanjiro
"Nezuko! Hurry up we late!"
Nezuko
"Sheesh! I know that! Why didn't you wake me up?!"
Tanjiro
"Hey! It's not my fault the alarm turn off! Also, you should wake up by your own too!"
The two siblings run as fast as they can toward school. It's their first day and now they're already late! Once they entered the school, they let out a relieved breath. They arrived just in time.
The guard whom saw them just smiled and shook his head.
Tanjiro
"Come on, we need to get going."
Principal: Congratulation to Nezuko, you got in the same class as Tanjiro. Your intelligent and grades are remarkable, it will be waste if I put you downgrade.
Tanjiro
"Good for you Nezuko."
Tanjiro
*closed eyes smiling.*
Tanjiro
"If you excuse us."
They bow to him before left.
It doesn't take long for them to reached to their class.
Nezuko
"Huff.... I'm nervous."
Tanjiro
"Calm down would you? I'll be more nervous if you said that."
He then knock the door and slide it opened, everyone attention switch to them.
Tanjiro
"Umm.... We're the transfer students."
Math Teacher
"Oh, I see. You're the one the principal talking about. Come in and introduce yourself."
Tanjiro
"Right. Nice to meet you, I'm Kamado Tanjiro. I hope we get along."
Nezuko
"I'm Kamado Nezuko, nice to meet you all! Looking forward to know you."
The siblings smiled at them brightly making the class noisy.
Girl 1: I want to pinch his cheek so badly!
Girl 4: I want to be his boyfriend!
Boy 3: Seriously, what's with that 'fuah fuah' aura they emitting?!
Boy 2: But... they kind of cute right?
Boy 1: Shit. I'm straight, I definitely straight. I'm not gay.
Tanjiro
(They called me cute...)
His eyebrow slightly twitch in annoyance, though it's not the first time people call him cute. Or even worse gay for him.
Math Teacher
"Ahem! Now, now. All of you silent down."
They instantly shut up when she began to emitting dark aura and smile darkly.
Math Teacher
"You two can have a sit. Inosuke, Zenitsu please raise your hand up."
The said students rised their hand and the siblings split up, Nezuko sitting next to Zenitsu while Tanjiro next to Inosuke.
Inosuke
"Oi, Monjiro! Why didn't you tell us you transfer school here?"
Tanjiro
"Shh.... I'll tell you later okay?"
Time passes by quickly, once the class is over the whole classmate went to Tanjiro and Nezuko desk. Catching the siblings off guard.
Girl 1: Hey, how about you date with me?
Girl 2: Wahh?! I'm the one who suppose to ask him that. Go away!
Girl 3: No, his mine! You bunch can go eat dust!
Girl 1: What did you say?!
Tanjiro sweatdropped at the situation he in while Inosuke start growling getting annoyed by them.
Boy 1: Hey, do you want to go out with me? You're really cute you know?
Boy 2: F**k off! Damn you...!
Boy 3: Please ignore that idiot. They always like that. If you don't mind, can you give me your phone number? Maybe we can chat sometime?
Boy 4: Move away! How dare you make a first move before me!
Boy 3: The fastest one is the first service.
Zenitsu beside her starting to emitting dark aura when they flirt on her before he can do anything Inosuke already made his move.
Inosuke
"You better back off before the great Inosuke assault your sorry a**!"
The whole class startled when the blue hair teen yelled and stood on the chair. His left leg stepped on the table. That is enough to make them draw away from the siblings, they back off and run to cafe since it's recess time.
Inosuke
"Hmp! They just scared of the mighty Inosuke! Now bow down to me Monjiro!"
Tanjiro
"Haha.... I see you still haven't change aren't you?"
Zenitsu
"Tanjiro!! Why didn't you tell us you and Nezuko going to transfer here?"
The blonde teen embrace the younger male, he awkwardly laugh while returned his hug.
Tanjiro
"Well.... I thought we can do surprised to you. I deliberately said that we transfer over sea."
Zenitsu
"I'm so worried I can't meet you two anymore you know?! Don't do that again!"
Tanjiro
"Ahaha! Sorry, sorry. I'm not doing that again. I promise."
Zenitsu
"Hic.... You better be."
Inosuke
"Hahahaha!! Monitsu is still crybaby as ever!"
Zenitsu
"Shut up! I don't want to hear that from you!"
Nezuko
"How is school? Are the school okay? Did you get bully or anything happend here?"
Zenitsu
"Well... school is okay I guess? We don't really get bully though..."
Zenitsu claimed while sweating bullet when Tanjiro starting to let out his bloodlust.
Tanjiro
"I see.... That's good, just tell me if anyone hurt you. I'll f**king beat- I mean tutor them back to their sense~"
He smiled brightly but the bloodlust he emitting said a total opposite.
Zenitsu
"No! We okay, I swear! If anything... Inosuke always got into trouble and sent to discipline countless time."
Inosuke
"It's not my fault they pisses me off!"
Nezuko
"You can't do that Inosuke, I know you annoyed with them but at least control your temper."
Tanjiro
"Haha.... Some thing never change huh?"
Tanjiro
"It has been a while since we meet too, it nice to see you two doing well."
Zenitsu smiled when remember the time when they were kids. They after all friends since childhood, the first time they met Tanjiro is really protective to Nezuko. Must because of trauma and Zenitsu never take it to heart every time Tanjiro say harsh word to him and Inosuke. But, eventually they became close friends. They even treat each other like real siblings.
They then proceed to eat their lunch while chatting with each other. Sometimes laughing when one of them making a joke and fighting when Inosuke tried to snatch Tanjiro and Nezuko's lunch.

"How about the two kid you and Giyu-san safe before? Are they doing fine?"
Sabito
"They're okay, no need to worry. This year, Tanjiro supposed to be 17 and Nezuko 15. Right now they're at school."
??
"You let them go to school? You know that it's useless, there's nothing for the brats to learn."

"Sanemi-san that is mean! They're still child, I don't want them to involve in this world either. But...."

"Tengen-san you also sent your children to school right?"
Tengen
"Well, not really my children but yes. I send them to school too, I just want to give them a chance to feel a normal life before enter this world again."

"Shinobu-san! It's been a while!"

"Kyoujuro-san! You have build your body than the last time I saw you!"
Sabito
"What was that supposed to mean?"
Giyu
"Alright, now that everyone is here. Shall we start the meeting?"
Everyone instantly went silent as tense atmosphere filled the room.
Inosuke is stretching his body, right now Tanjiro, Nezuko and Zenitsu is on their way back home. The school dismissed the students early because of some circumstance.
Zenitsu
"Hey, since it's just 9:30 let's go have a walk. It's not everyday you get this chance you know? It's too early to go home."
He suggested and the others look at each other before nodded in agreement.
Tanjiro
"Yeah, you right."
Nezuko
"I want to buy oreo coolblock! Then maybe some paint tools!"
Inosuke
"I'm going to that restaurant, they have competition who eat the most going to win! And it obviously would be me!"
Zenitsu
"Oh, no you don't! The last time you join in that competition, you ended up throwing up because overly eat food!"
Zenitsu held back the younger male before he can run toward the said restaurant.
Tanjiro
"Then, let's go to amusement park! I heard it just opened three day ago, why don't we go there?"
Zenitsu
"That sounds good! What do you guys think?"
Nezuko
"I'm okay with it!"
Inosuke
"Hmp. Only this time I'll cooperate with you!"
Zenitsu
"Honestly what are you competing about?"
Zenitsu glance at him so done with his competitive persona. Tanjiro blinked his eyes a few time before laughed at them. It make him happy they didn't change much since they last met.
Tanjiro
(If only this last long.)
Zenitsu smiled in exasperated at Inosuke but deep down wishing it won't end.
Zenitsu
(If only time can stop. I don't want to go back to mafia...)
Nezuko
"Come on hurry up onii-chan! Zenitsu!"
Tanjiro
"Calm down, it won't run away you know?"
Zenitsu
"Hehe! Wait up Nezuko-chan~!"
They spend their time together, creating memory and take pictures when there is a chance. They go back home a little late than they planned but they're satisfied.
Tanjiro
"Haha.... Never thought we going home this late. It's already 8:00."
Zenitsu
"Yeah, me too. See you tomorrow then, Tanjiro Nezuko!"
Inosuke
"Kentaro, Tenzuko we will pick you up tomorrow."
Nezuko
"Yea, see you then."
Zenitsu
"Who are you calling Nezuko-chan, Tenzuko? Can't you call people named properly you pig!"
Inosuke
"What do you said Monitsu?! Do you want to fight with me?"
Tanjiro
"Alright, alright you two. Don't fight. See you then, it's getting late."
Tanjiro said made them snapped out of it, they gave their last farewell before went to separated way.
Once they are at home, Tanjiro took of his shirt infront of Nezuko and take the towel from chair. Ignoring Nezuko that look freak out.
Nezuko
"Onii-chan! Don't just took of your shirt like that!"
Tanjiro
"Oh, come on Nezuko. It's not like I'm *****, I only took off my shirt."
Tanjiro
"Or you actually want to see me *****? Tsk. Tsk. Since when you become a pervert hm?"
Nezuko
"I did not!! Baka onii-chan!"
Tanjiro just grinned in amused when his sister throw a pillow at him which he quickly catched. Her face beat red, she let out a hmp before went to her room.
He sighed. Closing his eyes for a second.
Tanjiro
"I need to meet Sabito-nii..."
Tanjiro
(I need to protect Nezuko. Even if it's mean to dirty my hands.)
Side Note: Zenitsu is older than Tanjiro and Inosuke by 1 year while Nezuko 3 year gap. Tanjiro and Nezuko skipped to a high class. Unexpectedly, the same for Inosuke.
