Inside the royal palace, the whole palace was covered in blood and dead bodies, servants, and staff were all killed.

"My Sun, The emperor is in the throne room" A knight, wearing armor, said with a bow to a beautiful lady, who was standing in the corridor.

Holding a sword, covered with blood, her long beautiful white dress became red because of the blood. Her long silver hair was tied up as a bun. and her pale white skin was so clear that she didn't look like a human.

She smiled and looked at him with her red ruby-like eyes and then said, swinging her sword in the air, "It's time already"

The man felt chills looking at her, she was beautiful but dangerous, her one move could turn the world upside down.

The princess opened the door of the throne room and smirked.

There were no lights, it was dark but you could differentiate between people and objects.

"Hello Father~" She said with her sweet yet cold voice.

Somewhere in a corner, a man in his 40s was sitting on the floor, scared and helpless.

"Insane...she is insane" He mumbled slowly, his voices were shivering.

"Aha! Got you!" Suddenly the princess bent over and found the emperor, making him startled.

"....Lilli...my daughter... let's talk...huh...yeah.." He said crawling back.

The princess was amused to see the sight, she laughed loudly, it was frightening even for her subordinates, they did nothing but were waiting for her command.

"Wow!! This feels so good Nicole!" She said looking at her Knight, who informed her about the emperor's whearbouts. He was quiet, looking at her with his serious expression.

"Come on, it's a happy day today!" She said and smiled.

The princess then bent down and kept her hand on the emperor's shoulder.

"Do you want me to spare you?" She asked with a smile, which was more frightening than her anger.

The emperor nodded his head and held her hand.

The princess suddenly became stiff, her face darkened, she looked at the emperor and said with her chilling voice, "Bring in the Nobles"

Nicole and some other knights followed her order and went to bring the Nobles.

"...Nobles...what...what will you do with them...?" The emperor asked with a scared voice.

"Surprise surprise" She said calmly.

Suddenly someone barged inside the room and the guards stopped her by blocking her way.

"Sister!!" She said loudly.

"Pe.. Penelope..." The emperor said slowly, looking at the entrance.

While the Princess smirked as her eyes sparkled.

"I was waiting for you" The princess said with a smile.

"Let me go, you, good for nothing people, i want to meet my sister!" The lady said angrily to the guards.

"How dare you!!" Shouted the princess with a death glare towards their direction, startling the rest.

The lady became happy and said to the guards, "See, if you don't want to lose .." She was saying but then the princess interrupted.

"You lowly slave, how dare you raise your voice in front of me" The princess said and walked towards the lady.

The lady became afraid, she backed away and shuttered, "...what...what are.... you saying sis?"

"Do not forget your place!" The princess said lowering her face near the lady's ear.

"...sis.." She said.

"Throw her in the dungeon!" The princess ordered the guards and they followed while the lady was shouting and yelling telling them, she is a princess and how dare they touch her.

"Hah! She is annoying" The princess said stroking her hair up and then sighed.

She then looked at the emperor who was silent.

Lilliana was about to say something but then Nicole came inside with the Nobles.

They were of course scared.

On the other hand, The princess chuckled and said, "In front of your eyes, I Lilliana Euclid shall be the emperor!!"

Everyone was shocked except Lilliana's subordinates.

"....Lilli..what..do you mean?" The emperor asked, holding her dress from behind.

While Lilliana smiled looking at him and then her eyes turned cold, in a blink of an eyes, she slit his head and it rolled over on the floor.

It was so silent that even the sound of a needle falling could be heard at that time.

The Nobles were shocked but were quiet as they wanted to live, their life was more precious than the emperor after all.

Lilliana made a disgusted face and then walked towards the throne, she made herself comfortable on it as she sat like a queen.

Glaring at those nobles, they all immediately kneeled down and lowered their heads.

"Hail to the new emperor" A Noble said and the rest repeated.

Lilliana was tired, she closed her eyes and enjoyed the echoes of their voices. it was pleasing and soothing to her, she felt relaxed.

"It's mine now!" She said as she stroked the throne with a smile on her face.

Once upon a time, on one fine day, the light blue sky was clear with no clouds, it was a beautiful sight.

There was a big palace, very big, it was grand and luxurious, every wall and its pillars had gems stoned in them which is why the palace was known as, The palace of Diamond.

Behind the palace, there was a greenhouse, specially built by the King for his Queen. It was beautiful, all kinds of flowers were planted, every different kind and color. The King doted on his wife the Queen, that is what everyone knew.

Inside the greenhouse, a beautiful young lady was standing, caressing the flowers with her soft gentle hands. Her long silky shiny silvery white hair was windblown, her white pale skin looked very soft and delicate as if she was a porcelain doll.

"Sis!! Where are you?" A person came inside the greenhouse and called for that young and beautiful lady.

She as well was a young perhaps a bit younger, that lady's hair was black as the night with dark pink eyes, which stared at the lady. Her name was Ruby, a beautiful name which suited her according to her parents.

As Ruby had called out for that young lady, she slowly turned around with a bright smile on her face which was dazzling her beauty more and more, her red eyes which was the devil's sign looked angelic on her face yet terrifying for some reason hence why it was called the devil's sign.

For a second Ruby stared at her with a serious yet suspicious look but then she smiled along with her eyes.

"You are so beautiful, Sis Lilliana" Ruby said and kept a flower wreath made up of fresh flowers on that lady's head.

Lillian was her name, beautiful isn't it? Lilliana held flowers in her hand and was smiling wholeheartedly.

"Thank you Ruby!" Her soft sugarcoated voice echoed in the greenhouse.

"Father Emperor is looking for you sis" Ruby said as she smiled for no reason.

Whereas Lilliana was confused, she nodded and headed outside the greenhouse.

Meanwhile Ruby looked at the flower for a second with a serious expression and then walked out after crushing the flower with her shoes on the ground.

"Slowly slowly i will take everything from you" Ruby said with a dark expression as she gritted her teeth.

Lilliana was already 19, a perfect age for a girl to get married, she was engaged with a neighboring country's crown prince.

As Lilliana walked through the corridors towards the destination of the audience room, servants and staff were avoiding to meet her eyes and were whispering which was making Liliana uncomfortable.

...Huh..what is wrong with them, why are they behaving strangely these days??...

Lilliana glanced towards them and was astonished as they didn't bow their head but actually were detesting her with their eyes.

Lilliana ignored as she sighed.

...Why did my father suddenly ask for me? Is it something really important?...

Thoughts started circulating Lilliana's mind and she finally arrived at the front door of the audience room.

"The..Princess is entering" The guards let the emperor know of Lilliana's presence as he announced her and she entered.

The atmosphere was gloomy and dark, many nobles were standing which was quite unusual. Their cold stares were poking Lilliana, she felt an ominous feeling as she looked around as she walked towards the emperor, who was sitting up on the throne, looking down at her with a cold gaze.

Lilliana was surprised to see the crown prince of the neighboring country standing beside the emperor with a smile on his face, which felt fake and annoying.

"Greetings to father" Lilliana bowed elegantly as she greeted the emperor.

"Tomorrow, Ruby will get married, with the crown prince of the East, Jared Brown!" Without responding to her greetings, the emperor stated what he wanted to say, he voice was cold and filled with hatred.

Lilliana was shocked as well as sad, very sad, she lowered her head and was silent, Lilliana, she was hurt every time she would meet her father but today it was like a disaster.

"Your answer?" The emperor coldly asked as he frowned in anger.

She looked up and faced the emperor and said with a happy face, "I'm...very happy...to know that...father..."

Lilliana glanced at the prince who was once her fiance, she became astonished as he was still smiling, it was annoying to see however Lilliana suppressed her anger and was silent and accepted everything.

"Then..i will take my leave" Lilliana said as she bowed and turned around to leave and then a maid barged inside.

She was out of breath, the guards held her as she committed a crime by barging inside the audience room. She cried and begged as she said.

"Please..listen to me..Lady..ah..no I mean..princess Ruby collapsed!!" The maid said which made people freak out after all she was the apple of their eyes, mostly the emperor's.

......Not lady but Princess?? What is going on??...

Lilliana couldn't help but think.

The emperor stood up in shock and asked again as he climbed down the stairs.

"What did you say!?"

The maid flinched and said again with all her courage, "Princess Ruby has fainted after coughing out blood"

The audience room felt in chaos, people started murmuring.

"Quiet!!" The emperor yelled leading others to keep their mouth shut.

"Summon the royal doctor right now!" The Emperor ordered and walked outside the audience room.

Lilliana too was worried and so she walked towards the door but then the maid held her arms and said with an evil smile.

"Your time is over" She said confusing Lilliana.

Lilliana frowned and walked outside after pulling back her arm.

"What did she mean by that?" Lilliana mumbled as she walked through the corridors back to Ruby's room.

"Perhaps, revenge?" Jared Brown whispered in Lilliana's ears, jolting Lilliana, she turned around and found him standing in front of her.

"Your actions are quite rude, Your highness!" Lilliana said as she frowned.

Jared Brown smirked and held a strand of Lilliana's slivery white hair and kissed on them, it was obnoxious, is what Lilliana's eyes said.

"Are you angry that you are no longer my crown princess?" He asked with a sad face, making Lilliana uncomfortable, she narrowed her eyes.

"I do not have any right to be angry, If Ruby wants this then I'm fine, as long as she is happy, my feelings don't matter" Lilliana said and walked away while the prince was stunned.

Suddenly, he started laughing and then said with a serious mood, "You are quite naive, Lilliana Alec De Diamond"

Ruby was unconscious, lying on her comfy bed, with her hands folded near her stomach, her complexion was poor and pale.

The emperor was holding Ruby's hand and was very worried.

"Oh my poor child, what happened to you?" He said and was feeling really sad as he lowered his head.

Seeing him like that Lilliana was surprised as she was standing near the bed, watching the emperor, grieving for someone who was not his blood.

...Something is strange....

She thought to herself and was silent as she kept on watching.

"Your majesty, the Royal physician is out of the town" The butler, who was in charge of the inner palace said with a shivering voice as he fears the Emperor.

Hearing him, The Emperor stood up in rage and removed his swords, he pointed his sword towards his neck as he glared while the butler trembled in fear.

"If she doesn't wake up, you all will die here!" He said with a murderous aura.

"Your majesty, please calm down, I've summoned the wizard and he shall be here at any time" The crown prince, Jared stepped forward as he said with a calm tone.

The Emperor held his hand and was thankful.

Lilliana was worried too, she sat beside Ruby and held her hand.

"Ruby...please wake up soon, my lil sis, everyone is worried for you" Lilliana said with a sad face and worried tone.

"What the hell do you think you are doing!! You are the one who did this to my lady, if not for you..." A woman started yelling at Lilliana, attracting the emperor's attention, everyone became surprised even Lilliana.

Lilliana stood up in confusion and asked, "What are you trying to say?"

"What the hell do you mean!?" The Emperor glared at that woman, it was dangerous as he was in a really bad mood.

The woman kneeled down and said as she started weeping, "Your majesty..huhu... I'm lady Ruby's nanny, Princess Lilliana, she gave poison to our precious lady. Huhu..your majesty please save our poor lady"

The atmosphere became chilled, people glared at Lilliana while she was confused.

"What nonsense are you spouting!?" Lilliana said as she raised her voice, as she was about to say something, the emperor came forward and slapped her hard, which was quite shocking for Lilliana.

While the nanny and some other servants present in the room, smirked slowly.

On the other hand, the crown prince was astonished as well.

...Poison? This timid lady, who can't even think of approaching anyone, poisoned her own sister....

He thought in his mind as he frowned.

Meanwhile, Lilliana looked at the emperor who was showing hatred to her as he clenched his teeth whereas Lilliana was speechless.

"How can you be blinded by status, just because i cancelled your marriage with the crown prince and let Ruby marry him instead, you poisoned her, I'm so ashamed of you, Lilliana!!" His bitter words pierced Lilliana's heart, even though she didn't receive any affection from her father but she still loved and respected him and never expected to get treated like this once in her life.

A drop of tear fell from her eyes as she tried to speak but couldn't as the corner of her lip got bruised.

...But just recently i came to know about the cancellation of the marriage...why in the world is he suspecting me?...

Lilliana pondered.

"How despicable, lady Ruby treated her like her own elder sister and she tried to harm her!"

"Comes out she is a villainess, a monstrous villainess who tried to kill her own sister!!"

The servants and few nobles were murmuring but Lilliana could hear them clearly, she was dumbfounded as they talked ill about her, no one was on her side, she was alone all by herself.

"I.. I didn't do it father..." Lilliana said with all her courage as she couldn't stop crying.

"Oh my, look at the nerve, she is even denying it, how brazen!!" The nanny spoke.

"No father, please believe me" Lilliana held her father's hand but he pushed her and fell on the floor.

"Pft" The servants slowly were snickering at her.

...How in the world...i can't even imagine Ruby getting hurt..how can they say...that i-...

Lilliana said in her mind and was helpless.

Nobody believed her, everything turned upside down for her, her peaceful days were shattered.

As Lilliana was still on the ground, no one helped her, the wizard came and people started giving attention to the unconscious lady, they were worried sick for her yet they showed resentment towards the princess.

Soon after Ruby regained her consciousness as the wizard used his magic, the people were delighted and so was Lilliana, she smiled brightly and tried to get up.

"Oh my poor child, thank god you are safe" The emperor hugged Ruby as he was relieved.

While Ruby sat up and looked at Lilliana who looked at Ruby as well, Lilliana smiled while Ruby was silent, showing hatred to Lilliana from her eyes.

"Goodness, lie down sweetie, don't stress yourself" The emperor said with a worried tone.

Suddenly Ruby started crying, shocking everyone.

"What happened, my child, does it hurt somewhere?" The emperor got worried after seeing Ruby's tears.

"Why? Why did you do this to me, sister?" She said as she cried, while Lilliana was thunderstruck.

Everyone again looked at Lilliana with hatred in their eyes, the emperor clenched his fist and asked Ruby with a gloomy face.

"Tell me what happened?"

Ruby then held the emperor's hand and said with a worried tone, "No father emperor, please calm your anger, even if my sister did poison me, i do not resent her...so don't be angry please."

Shocked Lilliana was speechless as she looked at Ruby while the Emperor stood up again and walked towards Lilliana angrily.

"Oh no...did i just blurted out the truth! how stupid of me" Ruby said as she facepalms herself and glanced at Lilliana with a smirk on her face.

.......Ru..Ruby?? Did she.... why......

Lilliana who was confused as hell as she couldn't utter a single word.

The emperor grabbed Lilliana's arms tightly and asked in a bold voice, "Did you really do such a thing, Lilliana!?"

Lilliana looked at her father with a timid and scared face and then said with a low pitched voice, "No, i didn't do it"

The emperor gripped his hands more tightly and said, "How can you still lie, you disappoint me, you unworthy wench!!" He said and pushed her. Lilliana on the other hand went blank, she never in her life did she imagine that something like this could happen.

She was too stunned while Ruby and her people were snickering at her pitiful face.

...Hmph finally! Oh this is so satisfying, i feel like now I'm the only sole heir, everything will be mine now!!...

Ruby thought in her mind and was overjoyed.

As the emperor turned around, Ruby shifted her expressions to a weak and timid girl.

"Listen! The Princess Lilliana...shall be punished for poisoning Lady Ruby by execution, She will be executed right after one week, till then throw the criminal in the dungeon!!" The emperor ordered, some were satisfied so some were shocked while Lilliana felt lifeless.
