Sir Ignis: In our continent, the continent of Kagayaku Tamashī one's strength is decided by his soul, the higher the quality of your soul the stronger you are.

The quality and potential of your soul is supposedly decided the moment you're born.

Currently there are three types of souls and these souls are further divided into Weak, Moderate and Strong.

The first type of soul is the Earthly soul which is also called "TRASH" soul it is frequently acquired by people who have no natural talent in nurturing their soul.

Next is the Heavenly soul these are often acquired by kids from noble houses that are trained and receives personal training from elders from different powerful sects the Heavenly soul is also considered a "GENIUS'S SOUL" and is highly praised throughout the continent.

And the final and the STRONGEST known soul is the GODLY soul which only appears once in trillion years, A person with a godly soul and has trained it to the highest level is supposed to have the power to destroy and create mountains with a single word.

In total there have only been 3 people which were born with the godly soul and each of them have lead their own territories into glory.

Sky: Hey Casey! wait up.

Casey: Hey Sky! wanna go home together?

Sky: Yeah sure, that was what i was about to ask you.

Casey: "giggles" ok come on

Blake: Hey! where do you think you're going with my girl Sky?

Blake: You think a mere earthly soul peasant like you is fit to hang out with a genius like Casey?

Casey: Blake! Back off even though Sky has a trash soul he's more hardworking than you and anyone else in the academy, so what if people like me and you have a heavenly soul it's worthless if we don't be like Sky and work hard than it's all for nothing!

Blake: Whoah there take it easy, I'm just stating my opinion, besides he only got into this academy beacause of his parents connections and besides he's probably an illegitimate child 'cause i don't know how two geniuses with heavenly souls could produce a trash child like him.

Casey: Blake! if you don't stop know i'm gonna tell the principal!

Sky: It's okay Casey what he said is true anyways i'm just a trash child i'm not fit to hang out with a genius like you that has a heavenly soul.

Blake: Heh, good thing you know that

Casey: Sky don't say that, i'm more than happy to be your freind.

Casey: Hey didn't i tell you to back off, do you really want me to tell the principal!

Blake: Yeah yeah, fine i'll go...

besides all he can do is hide behind a woman all his life.

Casey: Scram!

Casey: Sky, ...... Come on why don't we just go home.

Sky: Yeah, Sure

At sky's house

Sky: Mom i'm back.

Mom: Welcome back Sky, how was the first day of school?

Sky: It was okay, by the way where's dad?

Mom: He told me that he was gonna come home late from work again today.

Sky: Oh ok

Mom: Come on let's have dinner, we're having

Chicken soup tonight.

Sky: Ok!

After dinner

Sky: Yum that was delicious mom!

Mom: *Giggles Glad you liked it!

Mom: Now clean yourself up and go to bed it's getting pretty late.

Sky: Ok mom.

(After sky finishes taking his bath he heads straight to his bedroom on the second floor)

Sky: *sighs Dad always comes home late i wonder when i'll be able to see him again.

(And then Sky hears footsteps)

Sky: I wonder who it is.

Dad: Sky are you asleep?

Sky: (It's Dad!, i'm going to pretend i'm asleep and then i'm going to surprise him)

(He then hears the footsteps getting farther away)

Sky: Wait why didn't he come in?

Sky: I better see what's going on.

(Sky heads downstairs and overhears his mom and dad talking)

Sky: What are they talking about at this hour?

Dad: Sky's soul is a real problem if he continues to study at the academy than he'll be surpassed by the other students and become a laughingstock

Mom: I know, but we can't just pull him oit of the academy it was his life long dream to get into the academy.

Dad: But we have no choice.

Mom:*sighs* your right we have no choice.

(Sky runs back to his room while sobbing)

Sky: *sobs* I can't believe this, i'm not gonna be able to enter the academy anymore.

Sky: No! crying won't do me any good i need to get stronger.

(Sky leaves the next morning while his parents are still asleep and he leaves a letter)

TO: MOM AND DAD

Mom, Dad I don't know how to explain this so i wrote it in this letter.

Last night i heard Dad's footsteps so i pretended to be asleep so that i could surprise him when he come's in but he didn't i was surprised beacause usally even if i was already asleep i could notice that dad would always come in and kiss me goodnight but last night he didn't so i wondered why then i heard you guys discussing something and i found out that you were talking about my status in the school, how i'm weak and that i would only become a laughingstock the way i am right now.

So i decided that i would go on a journey so that i would get stronger i know that you must be really mad right now but please i can't stand it anymore how i'm the son of two geniuses with heavenly souls but only has an earthly soul, how i only got into the academy just beacause of my parent's connections and how i would never accomplish any thing in my life with my potential.

I'm sick of it i want to be the one who decide's my own destiny, the one who will say when i've given up and the one who will prove everyone who has ever doubted me wrong. So please let me go on my own path.

FROM: SKY

Dad: *sigh* When did this child get so courageous.

Mom: So what will we do?

Dad: Let's let him go, I'll be the one that will explain to the academy.

Mom: Okay, I guess it is time he writes his own story.

Dad: I just hope that he'll learn something from this, that he'll mature and grow even stronger.

Mom: And when he comes back i'm sure he has.

Sky: Arghhh! I'm so hungryy!!

Sky: I'm starting to regret leaving, food in Toshen is so expensive

Sky: I should've at least asked Mom and Dad for even just a little bit of money

Passerby 1: Dear, look at that boy he looks like a beggar.

Passerby 2: Hmph, hey kid!

Sky: *looks around* Me?

Sky: Yes?

Passerby 2: Here, take this money and buy some food.

Passerby 2: And if you wan't you can try looking for quests in the Adventurer's guild.

Sky: Oh yeah, Jhon said something about an adventurer's guild and quest's that when completed give money.

Sky: But i don't know where it is hmm well i still have some leftover money so maybe i can find a guide.

Hooded Person : Hello there, are you in need of a guide?

Sky: Uhm, yeah

Sky: (Woah, I can't believe a guide just appeared when I needed one!)

Hooded Person: But you know that you've gotta pay right?

Sky: Huh? Oh yeah yeah i have some money.

Hooded person: Great! where would you like to go first

Sky: Uhm, can you take me to the adventurers guild?

Hooded Person: Sure! It's really near us

Sky: Thanks, and oh by the way what's your name.

Hooded person: My name is Lyla, how about you?

Sky: My name is Sky, nice to meet you Lyla.

Lyla: Nice to meet you too!

Lyla: Of course it is it's the biggest branch of the guild, by the way do you already have an adventurer's pass?

Sky: What's an adventurer's pass?

Lyla: It's a card where all the data about your rank, previous missions and rewards are recorded.

Sky: Oh! I don't have one yet but where can i get one?

Lyla: You can get it at the cashier.

Sky: Okay

Cashier: Hello sir! Welcome to the adventurer's guild, what can i do for you?

Sky: Can i get an adventurer's pass

Cashier: Sure, you just need to fill up this form and give a drop of your blood.

Sky: Ok done

Cashier: Thank you, your adventurer's pass can be claimed next week but even if you don't have one yet you can already start accepting quest's

Sky: Great!

Lyla: Ok so did you memorize everything i told you abot ranks and beasts.

Sky: Mhm!

Lyla: Ok then, repeat everything i taught you.

Sky: First of all adventurers, all the members of the adventurers guild are given an adventurers card that is usable throughout Kagayaku Tamashī, it can be used to avoid paying taxes in certain cities and if your rank is high enough you wont have to pay for meal's at resturants or pay to sleep at a top notch inn. The rank starts with F being the lowest rank and S being the highest.

To make your rank go higher you need to complete a specific number of quests according to your rank or one rank higher than you or complete one special quest which is rarely given by the adventurers guild,

right now i am a begginer and is only in the F rank i need to complete 10 F rank quests or 5 E rank quests to advance to the E rank.

Next is information about beasts.

Beasts have a ranking system similar to adventurers but a little bit more complex beacause some high rank beasts are cunning and have intelligence,

F rank (Goblins, Wolves (Hybrid), Vulture's, etc.) - Has weak strength and can only survive by hunting in pack's

E rank (Orc's, Giant reptiles, Insectoid's, etc.) - Has weak to moderate strength, start gaining intelligence and also hunt's in packs

D rank (Wolve's(Alpha), Goblin's(Alpha), Vulture's(Alpha))- Monsters that are capable of strategizing and ordering around the weaker monsters around them, Can also easily kill you're average D rank adventurer.

C rank (Amphibian's)- The c rank is specially for amphibians beacause of their ability to survive, c rank monsters usually make temporary alliances and are capable of establishing democracy in their own tribes. one example is the mermaid tribe which has a voting system in where they decide their leader

they are also an example of a monster species that are pacifists which shows that all monsters are not necessarily evil

B rank (Werewolves,Vampires,etc.)- B rank monsters are very intelligent and are as strong as a professional B rank adventurer or a newbie A rank adventurer, their main source of power is their ability to transform and are also capable of blending in with society.

A rank (Wolves(Pureblood), Vampires(Pure/ Sucked more than 500 grams of blood), Werewolves(Full moon)- The A rank is mostly composed of monsters in their evoloved or PURE form's where they are significantly powered up but their's not much change in their intelligence except for the pure blood wolves.

S rank (Dragon,Leviathan,Dream ender)-These are the monsters that strike fear into the hearts of anyone who hears it's name, Each monster has it's specific ability and since there are only three S class monsters let me explain each one's characteristics

Dragon- The dragon is a beast that has two forms it's human form and it's dragon form, in it's dragon form it can fly,breath fire and do a war cry which can significantly strengthen it and calls every dragon within a hundred mile radius. In it's human form the dragon's strength is compressed which leads to extreme physical capabilities

Leviathan- Like the dragon but underwater............. just kidding.

But a Leviathan and a Dragon really does have similar charachteristics.

Like the Dragon a Leviathan has two forms the human form and the leviathan form, in the leviathan form it gets an extreme power up underwater, can breath underwater, swim extermely fast and control every body of water around it.

Dream ender- The dream ender has amazing psychic abilities which allows it to take control of the enemy inside the battlefield for a long period of time, in the duration where the dream ender is controlling the enemy units it can cast AoE skills which causes sleepiness,paralysis and fear in case there is an enemy which broke free from it's mind control.

S rank monsters also have SOULS which like humans determine their potential to grow even stronger, but unlike humans S rank monsters only have two types of souls Heavenly and Godly the reason for this is beacause S rank monsters are so strong that it is impossible for them to produce "junk" souls and their souls are also stronger than a human's soul (A heavenly soul S rank monster is on par with a godly soul human) which is why humans fear S rank monsters so much.

Lyla: Good it seems like you've pretty much learned everything that is needed for being an adventurer

Sky: Yes! does that mean i can start accepting missions now

Lyla: Yep!

Sky: Great i can start earning money!
