A young boy, Gabriel Folke 19 years old, he lives with his grandfather and uncle. His parents died in a plane crash 4 years ago. His grandfather was a former military officer in East Germany until finally the Berlin Wall fell and he retired.

Since then his grandfather chose to live in a village called Hilgermissen with his son (Gabriel's Uncle).

They live in a small house but big enough for the three of them. And this is where the story begins.
