Flash Marriage, Billionaire's Sweet Wife

Chapter 1 Special Small Patients

Westmead Hospital.

Dr. Elisa White rushed to the floor where her office was located. The fight outside her office caught her off guard late at night.

At that moment, nearly ten guys, all of whom were big men, were standing in the spacious hospital hallway.

They were all dressed in black suits and sunglasses, and their attitudes were tight as if they were confronting enemies.

When the nurses and doctors on duty saw her approaching, they exhaled a sigh of relief and almost cried. "Dr. Elisa, you've arrived."

Elisa nodded at them, looked along the corridor, and added, "Please wait outside in the waiting room first. The environment is too noisy, which would interfere with the work of the medical staff."

The doctor entered the room.

As soon as she stepped in, she noticed a mess all over the place. Plants in pots, books, pencils, papers, and glasses were all in disarray. There were several tea and coffee stains on the floor as well.

The only thing that was nice and clean was the tiny sofa.

A young child was sitting on the little sofa, his back was facing her.

Elisa no longer had to find out how messy her room had become.

Her heart surged with anger, and she planned to teach that child a lesson.

But at the thought of the people in the suit, she immediately corrected her expression and gently asked, "Hi, what is your name? What is the matter with you?"

The child slowly turned his head when she heard the sound.

Elisa was taken aback by the tenderness of the child's face.

An inexplicable feeling of kindness suddenly rose from her heart and washed away her anger. The child simply looked at her and did not say anything.

A pair of dark and brilliant eyes emitted blazing light, like two crystal grapes.

She took a glance at the child and observed that his fleshy little hand was making a fist on his tummy.

Dr. Elisa gave the sweetest grin. "I do not have the ability to read your thoughts. I can't tell what is wrong with you based on your expression. If you do not want to talk, could you please show me where you are uncomfortable?"

Elisa finished the discussion and smiled at him. The child stared at her in the eyes.

The office was deafeningly quiet.

When Elisa believed he would not answer, the child put out his fleshy little hand and pointed to his tummy.

She gently massaged his belly twice through his fitted clothing. "Does your tummy hurt?"

The child gazed at Elisa White for a moment, then at her hand on his tummy as if it were an afterthought, and slowly nodded.

She stepped up, picked him up with both hands, and since the child did not struggle, she carried him to the office bed for a thorough examination.

The child was surprised by her unexpected action and stood there for a few moments until she took him into her arms.

His beautiful and sensitive tiny face was expressionless.

The housekeeper at the room door probed and was taken aback to see the young master in Dr. Elisa White's arms.

The family's young master had never been close to anyone except for the young master, William Brich.

Even after five years of caring for the young master, he had not had the opportunity to become close to him.

In an empty parking lot, a beautiful new Maserati was parked, and the housekeeper welcomed him promptly. "Young master."

It was not much till the man stepped down from the driver's seat with his exquisite face and extraordinary clothes.

His beautiful lines squeezed strongly, dissatisfied.

"Where is Bruce?" William coldly asked.

"With Dr. Elisa's care, the young master has fallen asleep."

William asked, "Doctor Elisa?"

"That's a doctor from the hospital. When she hugged the young master, he did not reject her." The housekeeper said a little excitedly.

William somewhat frowned and speeded up.

The housekeeper escorted him to Elisa White's office.

William took a stop-off motion as he reached the floor where the office of Dr. Elisa White was located.

The housekeeper was silent.

William stepped out of the front door and clearly noticed the scene at the office.

Suddenly, his eyes blinked.

Bruce slept out in the office, where two heads were pressed against each other.

Bruce was leaning on Elisa White's arms like a delicate doll, and there was no restlessness in his delicate little face.

The face of Elisa White was seen by William. The eyes shone with a fleeting surprise.

Elisa had always had a shallow sleep, and when she became aware that someone was watching her, she woke up instantly.

She was shocked when she saw the man before her.

Elisa opened her eyes and saw that Mr. William Brich was still standing there.

Elisa White was familiar with him, not just because she was more interested in finance and journalism than in anything else.

Every day, the nurses and physicians at the hospital refer to him as "William Brich," and some of them could not wait for the day when they may consider him a masculine idol.

She was completely confused by it.

Those remarks, said by Mr. William Brich, in a way, symbolized the riches and prestige enjoyed by those at the top of the Australian corporate ladder. When the Brich family's power in Australia was taken into consideration, if the family stomped their feet, Australia would tremble as a result.

Bruce appeared to be aware of the doctor's feelings as she slowly turned around to wake up, his face was a little confused by what he was seeing.

When Bruce came upon William, he reached out with a set of chubby tiny arms to embrace him.

He was embraced by William as he reached out. "Does your stomach feel comfortable?"

In silence, Bruce snuggled his small head into the neck of his father, William, and slept peacefully.

Bruce's back was stroked by the big hand of his father.

Elisa's eyes were like obsidian, and they lingered on her face.

She woke up, coughed, and said, "Sadly, my pharmacist colleagues aren't working today and can't provide any medication. You can go home tonight and watch his situation at home, and he will feel better the following day. I'll write you a prescription for some medication."

William nodded slightly, as if responding. He then walked away without looking back.

Elisa rolled her eyes at the empty office. What's so great about having some money? What's the big deal about it? She thought to herself.

She went home to sleep after turning off the office lights.

_ _ _

The following day.

The phone rang on her desk in the midst of the day. Elisa picked up the receiver.

"Hello, this is Elisa White from Westmead Hospital."

There was no sound on the other end of the phone.

She blinked, her face flushed with perplexity. She wanted to hang up.

Before she was able to hang up, she noticed two faint tapping sounds.

Elisa White paused to hang up the phone and then placed the phone in her ear once more.

That time, on the other end of the phone, she could hear light breathing, as if it were coming from a child.

As soon as Elisa remembered the kid, she could not help but soften her tone. The doctor said, "Are you the little patient that came to see me last night?"

On the other end of the phone, there was a quiet thump.

"Does your tummy still feel uncomfortable?"

There were two tapping sounds that time around.

Elisa's lips twitched slightly as she thought about Bruce's father, and all of the warmth in her voice faded away completely.

"Now that you're feeling better, you should not have to go to the hospital as often."

There was another knock on the phone.

Chapter 2 Kid and Handsome Dad

Elisa White had no idea how to talk to Bruce Brich.

Annie entered the room carrying a stack of casebooks. "Here's the case you're asking for, Elisa."

"Please place them on my desk."

She was ready to bid Bruce Brich farewell when she discovered the phone had been disconnected.

Annie saw Elisa's drowsy appearance. "What's the matter?"

"There is nothing but these bookcases here. I'm heading to the station to check. Come with me if you don't have anything whatsoever. "

"Mmm," Elisa said.

Annie and Elisa approached the ward she was in charge of and inquired gingerly about some of the patients.

Annie attentively studied Elisa's communication skills with the patients.

She had a soft spot for Dr. Elisa White.

She was extremely convincing as she stood there, yet she did not make people feel distant.

Elisa's calm, resolute, and professional demeanor drew the admiration of many specialists with more than ten years of medical experience.

Annie wondered if patients felt comfortable standing in front of her like Elisa.

Elisa tapped her on the head with a pen when she left the ward. "Where do your ideas take you?"

"You must accept me as an apprentice, Doctor Elisa."

"Fuck off, with a dumb apprentice like you, I'll live a ten-year existence."

"Not until you tread on my body." Annie said.

"Why did I hire you in the first place?"

"I must be attractive."

Annie's shameless look caught Elisa off guard for a minute. "I'd better go off work and spend some time with you. I can't help but become attached to you. "

Annie smiled and waved goodbye to Elisa White.

Despite the fact that she appeared cold, Annie was never scared of her and frequently laughed with her.

People would react extremely differently when they had a cold face and a cold heart.

Elisa, on the other hand, was cold.

"Do you wish to arrange an appointment with Dr. Saline, Elisa? Her obstetrics and gynecology departments were having issues yesterday, as though caused by her patient. She must have received a reprimand from the head of her department today. "

"Shut up, you're ordering my life at work." Elisa said without turning around.

Annie was relieved to have been reprimanded at all, and she raced to sort out the information.

At the Cafe.

Elisa sat with a pretty tiny spoon in her coffee cup, periodically stirring it, and listening to Ellen Saline's rambling complaints.

"I envy you, Elisa. Many things would be easier for me if I had your aura. However, when I saw the patients and their families, my mind went blank. Sometimes I feel like I'm not cut out to be a doctor, and I can't seem to keep patients at bay. " Ellen was envious.

"Don't underestimate yourself. Your professional skills are not bad, your nature is gentle and careful, and there is no need to worry about it because of a minor setback."

"Do you truly mean that?"

"Patients are frightened to come to the hospital when it is crowded with physicians like myself. I am sending you back because it is becoming late, and you have to go to work tomorrow. "

"How about you?"

"Some of my patients' operations are scheduled for next week, and I will be off for the weekend."

"I am envious of you. I no longer have weekends."

"I just have a weekend every now and then, and every resident has to go through that." Elisa White burst out laughing.

"Elisa White, do you regret these years?" Ellen said, noticing nothing reluctant or problematic in her expression.

"What do you regret?"

"I regret giving up the quota for studying abroad at Brandon. What about you? You will be the deputy head physician if you study your professional skills and practical skills. How did you end up as an intern? "

"Even if I travel abroad," Elisa White grinned as she swirled her coffee cup, "I can't manage it if I'm not excellent myself."

"Thank you for looking up to me so much, Great Beauty. I intend to keep working hard. " With a grin, Elisa White continued.

"You've got to be kidding me."

"I was born with a great sense of humor."

"Fuck off."

"You may be lovely, but can you just stop being so rude?" Elisa laughed.

Ellen sighed and rolled her eyes. "I'm too lazy to go around in circles with you. Brandon and Julia will return next week, and their classmates will host a welcome home celebration for them. Will you be there or not? "

"What about next weekend? I'm still undecided. Go check it out if you're not doing anything else." Elisa said.

"You should not leave. There are a lot of people waiting to hear your jokes." Ellen was smiling at her.

Elisa raised her head, sipped her cup of coffee, and grinned, "What went wrong? I simply granted my boyfriend a money allowance to study abroad at public cost and afterwards reimbursed him for a substantial portion of his living expenses. As a result, my boyfriend turned into a heartbreaker and began dating another girl. It's not a huge problem. TV plays these plots every day. "

Ellen locked her gaze on Elisa White. "Do you truly think that?"

"What else do you think?" Elisa White called the waiter to bill out. She looked at Ellen, who was sitting quietly, and said, "Let's go, Dr. Saline."

Elisa picked up her bag and stood up.

Her legs were hugged by someone before she stood up fully.

Elisa was startled. She looked down and realized it was Bruce.

Bruce, who was wearing a little SpongeBob sweater, was looking at Elisa White expectantly, and his black, bright eyes were full of surprise.

That kind of pure surprise could easily touch people's hearts.

Elisa showed a happy smile unconsciously. "Baby, good evening. Did you come with your family?"

Bruce nodded.

Elisa's legs were gripped tightly by a pair of short, tiny arms, as if he was frightened, she might run away.

Ellen noticed the kid's cuteness and smiled. "Hello, little child."

Ellen reached out her hand to Bruce Brich.

Bruce did not even bother to look at her.

In embarrassment, Ellen's hand froze in the air.

"His situation is a little different," Elisa stated.

"Did you come with the housekeeper or with your father?" She asked Bruce Brich.

He grabbed a mini-pad from his little bag and scribbled the words on it. "Father."

She was immediately reminded of the man's cold personality.

Elisa thought about it and said, "My friend and I have something to do. Let's take you to the reception first. Will you wait for your father there?"

The boy's delicate face darkened suddenly. His rosy lips also narrowed.

Elisa White felt guilty when she saw this. She was at a loss for what to do with the kid, when she heard a steady step behind him.

"Bruce, don't bother Dr. Elisa." Said William, elegantly.

William Brich's presence drew all eyes in the café to him.

Everyone was staring at him, wondering which woman was so fortunate to have the favor of such a high-class man as William Brich.

When Bruce spotted his father approaching, he clutched to Elisa White like a necklace.

Elisa White became visibly humiliated.

Chapter 3 Pick up a kid

In three minutes. Elisa gazed down at the child in her lap and could not recall how she and Ellen had ended up in William's car.

Bruce, on the other hand, seemed to be attached to her and never left her side.

Elisa White noticed Dr. Ellen's perplexed expression and decided she didn't want to discuss gossip with her at that time.

They soon arrived at Ellen's house, and Elisa set aside the little thing on her leg and prepared to go with Ellen.

Ellen took the initiative and shut the door. "There is no empty room in my house. What is the point of following me?"

Elisa White wanted to strangle the stupid lady right then and there.

Were her IQ and EQ eaten by dogs?!

She unconsciously looked in the direction of William and saw that he was also looking at her.

There was a hint of teasing in his eyes.

"Are you afraid of me?" He whispered softly.

"You overthink things."

"What's your home address?"

She couldn't squirm because she was too lazy. She tilted her head and glanced at the window after giving a series of addresses.

Bruce's little head was sitting and sleeping on her leg.

When Elisa returned home, she could not stop thinking about William's enticing gaze. Her heartbeat accelerated strangely.

Was it simply a coincidence that she ran into William and Bruce Brich that night?

It turned out that it was not a coincidence.

On weekends, Elisa White rarely slept overtime, but that day she was awakened by constant knocks on the door.

Elisa ruffled her hair and got up irritably. She opened the door, only to find Aunt Emma standing at the door.

"How did you become a mother? Even if a youngster commits a mistake, you cannot force them to go outside in the cold. If anything bad happens, it will be too late to be sorry!" At the sight of Elisa White, Aunt Emma could not help but reprimand her.

For a short period, Elisa White was disoriented. "Aunt Emma, could you please speak slowly? What kid are you talking about?"

Aunt Emma scowled at Elisa White and stepped aside to reveal the child behind her.

The child was Bruce Brich.

He was dressed in a thin little home suit and slippers.

His cheeks and nose were chilly and rosy, and he seemed charming and sad.

When she realized Aunt Emma was ready to reprimand her again, she dragged the kid into the home. "Thank you so much, Aunt Emma, for your kindness."

Elisa White slammed the door shut.

She took a few long breaths as she stared at the closed door.

She turned around only after a warm grin came off her face, she dropped her voice, and asked, "Baby, did you come here alone?"

Bruce rubbed his hands stiffly together, dropped his head, and remained silent.

When Elisa saw his little stature, she was reminded of herself as a child.

She stooped to take up his delicate little body, laying him on the sofa, and wrapping him in a little blanket.

Bruce gazed at Elisa with crystal-clear, grape-like eyes and let her play with him like a toy.

That adorable little apparition had the ability to melt people's hearts.

Elisa wanted to ask him how he knew her home address and how he got here.

She pinched his cold little face and suddenly didn't want to ask anything.

After Elisa White made sure he came alone, she smiled and said, "Are you hungry? Auntie will make you breakfast, OK? "

The boy nodded his head.

"What would you like to eat?"

Bruce Brich's little flesh hand groped in the small blanket.

Elisa knew what he was looking for. She got a notebook and pen from a small drawer and put them in Bruce Brich's little hand.

Bruce Brich wrote and drew carefully on it and then handed it to Elisa.

Elisa White looked at the notes in front of him.

The words on it were very simple. Scrambled eggs with tomato and shredded pork with fish flavor.

Although the small writing was immature, it was neat.

Based on those words, it could confirm that there was nothing wrong with Bruce Brich's intelligence, and his IQ was also far above his peers.

Five-year-old children did not even know those words, let alone write them by hand.

So why was he not speaking?

Did  he not want to say it, or could he not say it?

"Auntie isn't sure if those items are in the fridge. You wait here." Elisa said as she retracted her thoughts.

Bruce Brich nodded once more.

Elisa White went upstairs to wash, change her clothes, and then cook their breakfast.

She quickly placed two plates and a bowl of soup on the table, and she prepared an extra cup of pure milk for Bruce Brich.

Bruce Brich had sparkling eyes as he glanced at the meal, so he didn't need to call Elisa White.

He sat on the pad, patiently watching Elisa White.

Elisa White gave him a sandwich and soup.

Bruce Brich ate quietly.

Elisa's emotions were mixed as she looked at him while concentrating on the food.

Elisa softly said, "Baby, can you give me your father's or housekeeper's phone number?"

After Bruce had finished eating. Bruce's cheerful demeanor abruptly turned gloomy.

Tears welled up in his dark and brilliant eyes as well.

She stood on the balcony, watching the Maserati drive down with a tense heart.

Thinking back to Bruce Brich's expression, she realized she had just done something horrible, and her inner shame burst into flames.

But she didn't see anything wrong with her actions.

They were only a doctor-patient interaction.

When a patient entered the hospital, she was a professional and qualified doctor. When they depart, her contact with them ended.

She did not want to make friends with any of the patients. She did not believe it was important for her to be friends with them. She felt particularly guilty as a result of Bruce's weeping.

When Bruce found out she needed his father's phone number, he tossed the piece of paper at her and rushed out.

He didn't return downstairs until William summoned him. He crept into a corner and turned to face Bruce.

She attempted several times to go over and cuddle his tiny body, but in the end, she did nothing.

She did not want Bruce to emerge from nowhere in her life. She was not filled with emotion or patience. She could be kind to an unfamiliar youngster after a long day of work.

Especially with Bruce Brich, a youngster who clearly required a lot of energy to be cared for.

Elisa White shook her head, returned to the living room, took up the pathology, and began searching.

The cell phone next to her rang after a long time.

Elisa took out her phone, looked at it, and noticed that she had been added to Messenger.

Elisa's hand trembled as she stroked the words "Brandon."

She sat back on the sofa and returned her attention to the book, but she couldn't read it any longer.

What would Brandon Helmes do?

Did he want to go back home to visit his old classmates, or did he want to see how miserable she was?

Maserati.

Two men, one tall and one small, were sitting next to each other.

The air was so compressed that it seemed like it might burst in the next second.
