CHAPTER-1

INDIA, Chennai Airport.

Morning : 7:30 A.M .

"So you won't change your mind" I asked my dad.

"Ofcourse not. It's better to change your mind" he

replied.

"'I'm your daughter remember so my answer is

same".

"Then i cannot interfere in your decision, your wish"

Dad replied.

It's me Priya ,25 years old. I've born and brought up

in'this country. I've never left this country, because

i never had to. But everything will not be same,

sometimes it should change.

I completed Fashion desiqning 2 years before then i applied for the job in famous Jenson& Parker's co, as a designer.

since it is a big company they are not ready to believe a fresher. without experience. So they've asked me to work as a trainee in

one of their branches to prove my talent.

Luckily their branch was in Mumbai and i worked there for two years.

During that years

i've learnt a lot from the seniors there and it analysed me a lot what i should do and not to.

After two years seeing my work ,they were satisfied and gave me the designer post. I'm so happy and worried at same time.

Happiness is i got my desired

job and the worrying part is job place is BARNES, ENGLAND Because my father won't tag along me. Regarding my father his name is Vikrant, he is a ex-servicemen in army. So he loves his country so much and he don't want to move away from this country even for a year. He qave voluntary retirement

when he was shot. He didn't qave up after that since he had degree in psychology he started to give motivational speeches to school & College childrens and in alchol rehabilitation centres. I begged and pleaded him a for a month to move out with me but his answer is "NO"

"Look Dad we can be there for a year and then I'I make some transfer to this place until then you can enjoy the place there. Think it as your vacation".

"This sugar coated words won't work for me

buttercup. Listen sweetheart i know you worked hard

to come here so I won't stop you,But i can't come with you besides, i have my orientation classes i don't want to miss it"

"Whatever dad you are so stubborn ,but one day I'm gonna kidnap you". He chuckled "Good luck with that angel. By the way

whether you've informed Anitha that you are coming there"

"Ummm...no dad i was thinking to surprise by-

suddenly appearing her before" I smiled. .

" But she asked to you inform remember??"

"There will be no kick in that, believe me she is going

to have a heart attack"

Anitha Sukumar my school best friend. After school she moved to Barnes when she got the scholarship to study her favourite journalism. We were still in contact.

When i told i got the job in Barnes she is upside down. Actually she gave the idea to be a month before the iob so that we can enjoy some quality time together.

And i didn't had any vacation for past two years ,I've thought it as a good idea.

"Of course dad i have it"

"You are 25 years old it is the right time to find your love. Don't end like me ALONE" he told with some grief in his voice.

Inervously smiled " Sure Dad ,i won't,i swear" I

hugged him in turn he did. I don't want this moment to move. Suddenly he cried.

"Dad, are you crying ?"

"Of course not, I'm the strongest creature in the world" he wiped away the tears.

The Final announcement to the flight came and it's time to leave.

"Ok sweetie it's your time to leave.

Remember our mantra??" he winked.

" Get into the trouble, make mistakes more and learn from them" we both said and laughed together.

We shared a hug again " Goodbye Dad, take care of yourself" wiped my tears.

"Ofcourse sweetheart i will and don't forget to meet your love"

" I'll try" told mischeviously And the next thing is I'm in way to my vacation & job.

BARNES & ANITHA HERE I COME.....

"Mr. Kingston, Robert called me and asked you to be at office" Anne knocked my door.

-Why on the earth I should be there, I don't l want.

I didn't reply.

"I know Mr.Kingston you are not interested to go but Robert needs you to siqn some paper" Anne pleads me.

Again silence.

"Mr.Kingston he says it's important, so please.you need to be there for only 10 minutes and you can go anywhere you wish".

Shit!. They are not going to leave me and her please adding extra headache to my hangover.

"Ok I'll go, Now you go"

"He asked you to meet him at 12 and it's already 11:30 SO..

That's it she is getting on my nerves. I opened the door.

"Do you think I've fucking care about the time he said I'll go when . I need. Don't treat me like a Diaper boy going to school, got it. Now leave out my damn head and do some shitty works you have".

She shivered in fear and nodded her head and said "Ok sir, as you wish" in broken voice.

She is crying and I don't care, she is doing this

everyday because of me and I don't have a fucking time to look this.

I closed the door and laid on the bed trying to get some sleep.

"Anne what he told?" Robert questioned.

"Same reply you hear ever time"

Silence.

"Inform me when leaves the home"

"sure Rob"

I waked up at 4, now my head was clear than before and nothing to irritate me, I checked my phone Shit 40 Missed calls from Rob.

This boy is not going to leave me. It's better to go.

6:00 P.M

Edward office.

When I entered the office no one was there except security guard and that's what i want so that I don't want to see the pitty faces around me. Security guard wished me and there was pitiful expression in his face.

I looked him with anger he lowered his face.

Then I entered the lift and pressed 12th floor button. People say time is Maqic it changes everything upside down it makes you sad, happy, qive friends & enemies.

It can be your good friend and bad enemy. Right Now he is my enemy.

Lift stopped and I entered the room.

There he stood ROBERT LIVINGSTON, Son of wealthy pilot parents, my lifesaver. Me and him were friends since our college. When I started this company ,he is my backbone even he gave me some initial funds. I asked him to be my partner but he refused by telling business is not his line and he went to study further

but right now he is here as I've said Time is magic.

"I asked you to be at 12 and what's that in your

"I'm late and in my hand ofcourse you know that it is Gin. I stopped at the bar before coming here".

He angrliy said " I need you to sign these paper to break the bond. The Ruby company investors done with you. They need to finish all your Deal's. With them. They are not going to contribute to your business anymore"

"Oh! Great, whether they are throwing party for these so that ican get free alcohol" I asked by signing the papers

"Ed, what the ****!!! this is our twentieth company that left us. We still have only two more companies and they are even discussing to cutoff with us. What the hell you've been doing man. Just wakeup!'The company you've built for 5 years is collapsing and all

our staffs worried about you even some of them are resigning, thinking there is no more future in this company. If you continue to be like this it is going to shut down your dreams, your pride and everything else please wakeup man for your sake"

"You know what, these words won't affect me I DON'T EVEN CARE TO CARE. THAT'S IT I'M DONE" I replied in emptiness.

He opened his. mouth to tell something, his mobile interfered.

This is the perfect time to escape from him and I turned to leave.
