-"Woah Dad!! this place is so big!.. this is the city!!" a decent young boy excitedly said.

-"Well on these vast Mountain ranges of Purple Lotus-myrrh Region, there is this city that we merchants must come to have an opportunity!" A good looking man with his clothes of nobility responded to the young boy.

-" Dear Lords.. we're getting close to the gates we are arriving at no time" a convoy guard informs the two people inside the glorious chariot.

-"Great!! Please lead ahead" The noble man respond.

The chariot drives to the gates and the charioteer stopped the chariot as it approaches to the gates.

-"Welcome to the Rygis Haldrid Central City!!...Dear Sirs we would like to know our guests today" a city gate-guard pondered.

-"Greetings We are of the Lexufia family we have received an invitation from the Acurlouive Merchant house" the Charioteer exclaimed showing a insignia mark on its wrist bands.

-"Rygis Haldrid Central City? The boy asked.

-"Yes the central city of the region, it was located in the middle part of the land and near the 'Great Lotus River', was founded and established by the Central villages inhabited in the region with prominent clans governing accordingly" The Lexufia Noble man said to his son.

-"A symbol of unity that it represents; because it is the only place where clans can change their greetings via giving gifts and offers presents to each other, sharing of ideas and profitable knowledge is also present each time they held gatherings" he added..

-"Lexufia?!!...S..si...Sir!! Please have your way inside Dear Sirs, and again welcome to the central city sir!" after hearing the response, his entire body seemed to be poured down by hot water as he respectfully said.

-"Father you seem to know a lot about this City!!.." the noble boy assumed, looking everywhere curiously.

-"As a Noble family we had to know about it a lot son, soon you will understand too"

-"Someday I want you to be an astounding powerhouse that the City would need!, is that okay? my little Kyvan?" The Father added as he smiled to his dearest boy, entering the city.

-" I will dad!! Promise!!" The boy joyfully said.

13 years passed:

Rygis Haldrid Central City

The city was crowded with people from every corner of the region, it was the center of trade by the villagers nearby anyways, everywhere you can see lots of different stalls selling their markets with all the variety of choices.

Some blacksmiths, alchemists, scribes, and merchants are also there, as they place and present their new equipment and items to the public, of course, many noble individuals are also lurking around the city picking their interest out of the stalls and visiting big merchant houses.

Meanwhile, arrays of the sun struck to a young man's face, his face was reddish while sweat covers all over, like he was bathing with it, still selling his stuff even in the middle of the day without getting covered. The sun is very cruel of this young lad doing his daily chores just to survive the life of being a simple citizen living in a small hut in the nearby village.

-"Veggies everyone!! I have also authentic herbs here!!" the young man said, he had pale skin, a long face and gray hair, a fine lad with a good stature but his status makes him not notable, for he is just a Street Vendor.

But under these conditions it did not bother him from surviving, day and night he does all his stuff without resting, from harvesting or buying materials and herb, unto making it something new and then selling it to the market place walking all around without anyone helping or supporting him, he is just all by himself.

"How was your day Kyvan? any good stuff there??" a man with a long beard said.

The man approaches him and smiled. He is in middle age and his stature is like a wall as big as he is, a bulky body and iron armors that are covered to it as he was ready to go in a war.

His tone is like a good old man like Kyvan already knew him a long time ago, seems a good uncle.

-"Good day Sir Landred, I have some herbs here perfect for anti-paralysis from bat-winged bees and giant spiders, also some antidotes for the numbing effects of the red fumes of the forest" Kyvan politely replied with a bow in respect.

Kyvan's polite gesture makes the man, Sir Landred moved, indeed a fine youth making his best with relentlessness, without any opposition of the world, makes him more concerned than pitying the young one.

-"Enough with formalities, I'm just a normal man like you, I just happened to be an adventurer, but regardless from that, I'm still be compared to you, working," Sir Landred said with humility and equal respect.

An adventurer is a kind of job in the region that is very common and popular, it requires oneself with physical toughness and mental stability.

The job's main course is to take up a quest from the Guild Hall which the citizens or some capable villagers give their requests and post there.

The Quests are classified depending on the situation or problem, required adventurer member(s) and of course the weight of reward.

-"Well I like to have those antidotes then, just happens that my quest for today is gathering redwood oils," Sir Landred said as he opens his purse and counts his extra money.

-"Just three silvers and fifty-eight coppers Sir" Kyvan gladly replied and gets the payment.

Sir Landred in his mind, he wants to make it 5 silvers, but as he thought about it thoroughly, Kyvan might misunderstand it that he pitied him, so he just gives the exact value.

Right at the moment Kyvan packs up all the things Sir Landred needed and gives it to him and pays momentarily goodbye.

Kyvan was ready to go to wander again in the place, but just the moment when he turns around, Sir Landred calls Kyvan.

-"Young lad, mmmhh, are you interested in becoming an adventurer? I know you need bigger income, and I doubt being just a reseller might not give you enough quota you need" Sir Landred said it to Kyvan out of his concern, but hesitated by the fact that he still young, so he added.

-"But anyhow I don't want to interfere your living routine if its the case, but if it interests you, I can ..." but even before Sir Landred finishes speaking, Kyvan butted and said.

-"Thank you for your kindness Sir, but,,,, I'm afraid if being an adventurer leaves my siblings behind that I might end up dying along the course, who would dare to care for them?? Kyvan devastatingly replies, but upon uttering those words he casually twitched his mouth and smiled bitterly.

-"Sorry sir I don't want to turn you down, but I guess it's not the right time yet, or perhaps it is not for me in the first place".

Kyvan sadly said as tears bubbled up in his eyelids and a series of pictures out in his mind flashed through and he remembered his two younger siblings crying when their parents left them as they died being an adventurer and never coming back to them.

Sir Landred don't know what to say, as he hears those words, it's like crushing his heart to pieces.

-"Well if that is your resolution how else could I bend that?" Sir Landred sadly approved as he understands what really Kyvan felt when he speaks those things.

As he remembered the words he said earlier, it was like, he went crushing his head with a block of ice, denying the fact that he gravely regrets it uttering those words.

Of all the people who know about Kyvan and his parents, it should be Sir Landred.

Even before when Kyvan is still a toddler, Sir Landred was already there with his parents, Sir Landred is a student and the only best friend of Kyvan's father.

Although Sir Landred is his student, Kyvan's father places him as his dearest Friend in his heart, that's why Sir Landred also places Kyvan in his heart as a son too, so long ago.

But unfortunately, they did not live for so long, after the unwanted incident, no one had an idea what really happened to them in the forest, even Sir Landred was just left in devastating shock.

And for his remorse, he would do anything to help Kyvan and his siblings, in repay for all the debt he had from his master, and for his conscience.
