In the peaceful village of Narvia there was a legend of a magical well that was located deep within the forbbiden. It is said that very well has the power of granting any wish made with atmost sincerity and inside the well lies a lot of treasure. The treasure was kept inside the well as a dying wish of the only man who is said to have successfully made a wish at that very well.

The forbbiden is an island that is rumored to harbor dangerous magical creatures that eat the souls of any human who dares to step foot in the island.

It is said that many who have gone into the island have yet to return. And none of the people who have gone in search of this well have lived to tell the story hence you would often here a mother threatening to send her children to the forbbiden when they misbehave.

After many years have passed the story of the magical well still lived in the hearts of the people of Narvia. And every once in a while they see a brave soul go in search of the well and not return. Over time it became normal.

No one knows where the legend came from or who it was that started it. Whether it was a true story or not nobody knows and no one is brave enough to try and prove it either. So the village was divided into believers and none believers but they all lived peacefully together in the village.

The people of Narvia are mostly farmers, they grow crops and rear animals. Almost every family in Narvia have lands and cattle. The poor people of this village live in huts, middle class people live brick houses while rich people live in manors and mansions. Despite the difference in social class the people of this village tend to get along with each other quite nicely.

They are very kind hearted people and are always there for each other in times of need.They were friendly with each other. They lived in peace and harmony with their neighboring villages.

Once in a while they would travel into to the main town but all in all Narvia has remained to be the most peaceful village around.

The children were seen playing around on this faithful day around the village as that adults went about their business without a worry in the world. They all welcomed this day with bright smiles on their faces. That was until a truck came into the small village, everyone stopped what was happening. As it was very rare for such cars to come to the village unless they were delivering things to the rich people of Narvia.

Everyone was curious as to who had come to Narvia. They were surprised to see a family moving into town, a family of five with two adult women and three girls. They moved into old man joe's house as he had left with his family and went to stay in Marcia the nearby town. He sold the land to people from far away land, who had decided to renovate the house before moving in.

The villagers helped them in unloading the truck and even helped them in moving in. They helped them in arranging the furniture in the house and in just an hour the entire house was properly furnished. The villagers brought them gifts to welcome them,grains such as wheat and maize, legumes, fruits and many other things. By the time they had finished welcoming them the store room of the Quinn family was full to the bream.

Marilyn and her family moved into the house, they thanked the villagers for all their help and retired to rest and called it a day. Marilyn's daughter Masha was very ill and she needed to find a way to save her. Her was incurable and that is why she has come to Narvia to try and find the magical well and save her daughter.

At night after everyone had fallen asleep she went to the river bank with a small boat and sailed in the direction of the forbidden. She arrived at the shores of the island and went into the island without hesitation. To say that she was not scared would be a lie, she was beyond terrified but her love for her daughter gave her the courage to keep going. She walked around the island before reaching a small cave that had engravings and a warning for people not to enter. She entered the cave, she saw drawings on the walls of the cave, the drawings were telling a story.

It looked like a love story, the story of the moon and the sun and the jealous stars. It said that the moon fall in love with the sun and started chasing after him but before she could reach him the stars who felt of the sun and how it was able to win over the moon's heart without much effort. While they work all night to please the moon but she never noticed them. They felt jealous and did everything they could to separate them but every once in a while the manages to give the sun a kiss and that is during an eclipse.

The sun together as one and complete their love story on this faithful day. When the sun and moon united in the sky then a wish of the heart is fulfilled at that special moment if sincere. Marilyn proceeded on her journey and went further and further into the cave. The more she walked the longer the cave became but she kept on bearing her daughter's condition in mind. The kept walking until she grew tired, she a pond in that wide and went to take a drink. She drank to her fill but noticed the well was divided into two.

Both the ponds had fish in it, one pond had clear fresh water while the other was dirty and had turned black. She felt pity for fish in the dirty and helped it, she picked up the fish and placed it in a pond with clean water. She wanted to turn around and leave when she noticed both fishes started glowing as they swam. One's glow was pure white while the other glowed in pure gold color. They chased each other and one could see a reflection of the stars in the pond. The fishes met at the center and merged together before separating again. The fishes color returned to normal and the fish she helped returned to its previous side of the pond. She was dazzled by what she saw.

Once everything went back to normal Marilyn felt dizzy right before she fainted.

Marilyn woke up in the morning and found that she was not in the cave but in her room in the house at the village. She was confused, how did she end up in her room when she was in the cave. Did she even go the cave of was it all a dream ? Were the questions she kept asking herself over and over in her mind.

She left her room in search of her daughter. Masha her last born was her world, she was born weak and has always been sick hence is always worried about her. She reached her room and was surprised to see that she was not there. She looked around the house but could not find her. She was getting worried her heart was racing in her chest. She was fearful and her entire body trembled at the thought of anything bad happening to her daughter's and her sister.

She wondered where they could have gone. She waited until midday before she heard footsteps coming into the house. She rushed to the door to check who it was. She was disappointed to find that there only a couple of neighbors who must have come to say hello. The people of Narvia are very friendly and she was more than happy to attend to them.

Her way came a man and three beautiful teenage girls. They came inside and sat down with waiting for her to invite them inside. At first she thought that maybe that was normal in Narvia until one of the girls spoke.

"Mommy did you prepare any breakfast ? We are so hungry as father made us work the entire morning in the farm." Said the girl clearly referring to her. She looked at them and wondered what in the world was happening, that is when she noticed the photo frame on the wall that used to have a photo of her, her daughter's and her sister now had a photo of her and the four people seated in her living room. Even the photos from many years ago had changed, everything else in the photos changed except for her and the background.

She was confused as she couldn't understand what was happening. She clearly came here with her family in order to find a way to save her daughter's life then what is going on and who are these people and where are children, where is her sister ? Immediately she finished asking herself these questions in her mind, her head started aching and she fainted once again.

She woke up and opened her eyes she noticed that it was dark and knew that it must be night. She realized that she had new memories in her mind, the memories were not necessarily new but in all of her memories instead of her sister and daughters she remembered the girls from this morning and that man they called father. She living with them in the city before moving here because her husband's distant relative died and left her inheritance to him.

They moved here about a year ago and have become members of the peaceful community of Narvia. She couldn't believe what was happening or how it happened. All she knew is that something must have gone wrong in that cave that changed everything and in order for her to change it back she had to back to the forbidden.

She left very early in the morning and went to the island with a borrowed boat. She arrived her steps from the last she was there and found the cave in no time. She entered the cave, walked inside and tried to find the pond with the two fishes. She walked until the place where she saw the pond yesterday but the pond was gone and in its place was an opening. She went through the opening and came to a beautiful lake that seemed so peaceful. If she was not worried for her family at the moment then might have taken her time to enjoy the scenery.

She walked to the lake lost on what to do, her family was gone,the fishes were gone and she had no idea how to get either of them back. She fell to the ground and cried in her hands as her entire body shook with fear of the unknown. She had no idea what happened to her or where the strange people in her house came from. She screamed at the top of her lungs disturbing the peace of the lake.

She heard footsteps coming towards her and turned around to see who it was. She found a very handsome young man with alluring features walking towards her. He was wearing a robe that was half white and half black. His hair was dancing beautifully in the window as he walked. He was barefoot as he walked but aura was that of another world, he extremely exceptional. He walked right passed her and went to the lake, he dropped his robe before entering the water but not before Marilyn could enjoy the view of his perfectly sculptured body. His body looked amazing under the sun, she couldn't take her eyes off him.

"Didn't anyone tell you that it is rude to stare." He said without even turning around to look at her. Marilyn found her composure and approached the man whose looks can compare to that of a god. She was nervous of approaching him but did it anyway.

For no good reason she poured her heart out to the man and told him everything that happened. She narrated the whole story to him and he listened patiently to her. When she was done she looked at him expectantly but if you asked her what she was expecting she would not tell you because she herself had no idea of what she was expecting from this perfect stranger.

"According to what you have told me I think I understand what happened to you. You see the magical pond fulfills the wishes of the heart and not the mind, you came here thinking about your daughters health but in your heart you've always wished for a complete family. You have always wanted a perfect family, a husband and beautiful daughters who are well mannered so the pond fulfilled your wish. It had rewritten your whole life and replaced your previous family with the complete family you wanted. Your family does exist they are just not related to you anymore and yes now that she is no longer your daughter I would assume Masha is perfectly healthy. So in a way all your wishes were fulfilled. You should know that magic always comes with a price." He paused and finally turned and looked at her.

"And you have paid a very expensive price for your wish."
