When it all began.......

I was cleaned and dressed...they his all the bruises they had created on my face as I was prepared for my wedding to an unknown man... the makeup was so much that I looked like a clown. I sat alone In the carriage as it took me out of the city and within seconds we got to a fascinating boundary. it was a creaky black and old gate. it was so quiet that I felt scared.

then we stopped after a long while I could hear sound of birds

“come down mi'lady” I stepped down with the help of the footman. I was surprised at the same time pleased.... would I be acknowledged differently here? A beautiful creature 😍 alked towards dressed in the most beautiful dress I have ever seen....I thought she must be a princess but then she curtsied

...“My lady....I am Nyx the court maid assigned to you. Come with me your groom awaits you” She turned away slowly and I followed. I will was taken to a room so beautiful that it blinded my eyes....

I was urged to freshen up and changed into a pure white gown with bells on my hair. The king has a weird taste....I followed Nyx and my maids to the study room and was left there standing alone staring at a pair of broad shoulders and intensifying aura....I noticed a shadow lurking in darkness but I kept my head down.

Lucas caught the glimpse of the woman in white. Her red locks wrapped around the bells. He frowned why was she putting it on? Those weren't made for her. “Leave” he drawled and the shadow vanished. He stood up and walked towards Her. He stared at her Hazel eyes which looked lonely and dull.

...“Princess Alice?” She bowed her head and held her gown tightly until her knuckles went white. He could feel her detest and fear. Wasn't he handsome enough?...

He took her hand in his squeezed it gently and dropped a feather light kiss on the back of her hand. He heard she was dumb and he'll likely find out if it was true. With an evil smile he held her by neck and grabbed it then she whimpered.......

Why was he choking me... it was hard to breathe. Did he find out...I was getting dizzy and suffocated.

...“Talk will you stop acting dumb” He said in disgust and let me fall to the ground as I choked. “Princess Alice...Do you know why you are here? What you were exchanged for?”...
