5 years ago when Naruto was just new born there was a attack on the hidden leaf village also on as Konohagakure (in short konoha) by The Nine tails fox who is controlled by a masked man
He is the masked man. He use many name for save his real identity

The 4th Hokage jump into battle and fight The Nine tails fox. He teleport The Nine tailed fox and himself outside of the village to save the villagers

In the end The 4th Hokage seal The Nine tails fox in his own son Naruto who was just new born and then The 4th Hokage died with his wife kushina

The 4th Hokage make Naruto the vessel for The Nine tails fox spirit for the benefit of the village
