What the hell?

Amelia open her eyes slowly. Her head feels heavy, and her chest feels like she was buried in the deepest part of the ocean.

Yet smooth and warmth embraces my skin. Blanket?

She got up and look at her surroundings "This isn't Netherworld but a human house?" .

She ran to the other room which she presumed the bathroom, the mirror hanging on the wall she look at her reflection to her surprised it was all gone.

Her scars, horns...and her golden eyes are all gone, She open the upper button of her clothes looking at her now plain chest where the cross sign that man carved is now gone.

So that means, my powers are still intact or?

Amelia open her hands trying to create a black flame, but nothing came out chanting some spells but the result remain the same.

Then..the realization hit her.

I am now a mortal human being?!

Her thoughts were interrupted with a sudden knock on the door.

"Aira time to go".

"Uh who's there?".

"What do you mean who's there?! You can't recognize your own mother's voice?!"

The sudden outburst by the woman simply made Amelia to snapped.

Bloody hell- " Sorry mom! Uhm uh I'll be down in a minute!"

"Sure don't be late you need to attend school you know or you won't graduate and become a doctor" The woman replied

" Ye-Yes! Of course I'll keep that in mind! ".

A doctor? She look at her reflection once more and her suspicious are correct, not only that She's now a normal human being..this body isn't hers.

Which means that this girl soul must have died while she's asleep, I have to deal with this now but the question is..how?.

Amelia knows how to act like a human after all She have learned from the best.

But if I'm here then I have to collect some information about what happened after the incident, and how many years has it passed? It feels like centuries or maybe it is.

Getting ready and dressed on her which I presumed its this girl's uniform...my thighs are showing.

' why does human education system has a thing for shorter skirts? It's bothering me.'

Looking at the small circle mirror hanging beside bed.

"Not bad Amelia you're as fine as the dark and jeweled sky".

" Aira! Hurry up or you'll be late! "

" Uhm Coming! "

Strolling off her room, well I can't say that this room is mine cuz of course this body isn't mine,

I'll just have to stay here for who knows how long.

Amelia arrived downstairs seeing the girl's mother is doing something, the woman noticed and she began to speak.

" Aira come here sweet heart I've packed lunch for you "

Amelia doesn't know what to say besides "Thanks mom.."

" You okay? You used to call me ma? Did something happened sweet heart?"

Amelia then defend herself by simply saying that " I just feel that...I had the urge to try something new.."

The mother smiled at her and gave her the lunch packed she prepared for her

" Of course, here you go or you'll be late ".

Amelia picked the lunch that the mother packed for her as Amelia give her thanks by saying " Sure mom I'll be back later " .

The woman smiled as Amelia head to the door and stroll off.

I felt bad for her.. pretending to be her daughter without knowing her actual daughter is already dead.

Yes my powers may be gone but my instincts never. When the time comes that I learned how to get my powers back I might find her daughter to the spirit realm and bring her back to live again.

This may break the rules of the Netherworld, but why not after all I'm the one who created that rule.

While walking Amelia has been thinking of how to get back to the dimension where she came from, thoughts are lining up of why and how's that a part of her soul picked the human dimension when she heard her name has been called with an unfamiliar voice.

" Aira wait up! ".

Huh?.

I turned around to see a girl who is- wow ma'am I must say you are prettier than any of the galaxies combined, You're making my insecurities higher! .

" Auh Hello Aira?? You look lost in thoughts?"

The girl ask

" Uhm yes I was? "

The girl chuckle as she continue "What happened? You look pale are you okay ?".

Amelia didn't know what to say anymore besides looking at her face.

The mistook the situation as her fault like she rushed to befriends with someone.

" Ohh sorry we just met yesterday and you might have already forgotten my name. it's Sasha".

Handing her hand out to me and I gradually shake it.

Poor girl you passed away a few hours ago, and you just made a new friend yesterday goodness stars align how fate has been cruel this days.

" Aira...Montero " she was surprised by my surname " You just told me your last name woah that's awesome!" She exclaimed well.. this is new.

" Sasha Victoria "

Nice surname I'mma give you nickname and that would be 'sash', We both walked to the school they attend to..while walking I noticed that Sasha is a bit more talkative and loud yet I find it quite interesting.

Humans are such interesting creatures indeed, but yet again sometimes they've been to much greedy.

" So Aira did you study the up coming test next week? "

" Uh no..I didn't "

" Don't you feel sad? "

" Why would I be sad? "

" Because we'll graduate this year and proceed to college and there's a chance we no longer see each other again "

'You don't know fate yet sometimes fate cannot be altered'

" And we have arrived!~ "

I look above at a huge building which I presumed to be the school wait is this..High school? Or a University?.

Human educational system has been to much advance it makes my head hurts, does it require a huge building to have a higher level of intelligence? Why can't grown ups just teach kids some value to gain a better knowledge.

Trust me I know how school works it doesn't test you if you're smart or not, it only test your memory. for me school it not that great to begin with, but why am I suddenly became a judger?.

As Amelia and Sasha began to walk on one of the cold and lifeless hallways Amelia could here the whispers of the people.

" Hey look it's the weird girl "

" The one who has multiple men sleeping with her? "

" Ugh why can't she die already "

Amelia can't stand it so she said something that no one can hear except her.

"Well good for you she is already dead ".

Sasha look at me and ask " Did you say something Aira? "

Amelia smiled innocently and said "Nothing".

I believe this girl's life is so hard that she can no longer bare to live another day..

If we both met earlier I promised you that I'll destroy your misery till I see you smile as bright as the sun.

The teacher was discussing about a History and how the story goes, and of course Amelia is getting bored and bored and almost closing her eyes and dropped her head onto the table until..

" Miss Montero, in what year did the Berlin wall fall? ".

The whole class stared at me waiting for my response and I could hear the laughs of the girls who mocked me earlier, I was about to answer the question when..

"I bet she's so scared that she couldn't answer"

One of the girls with blond hair laugh giving me the evil smirk, and I thought ' Oh really?'.

" No, I just think she's so dumb that she couldn't bare to answer "

The girl who dressed in pink plain shirt added the compliment.

Then the whole class laughs at me some whispered that I am a goody to shoes and some says I am a good for nothing.

The teacher look at me with pity,

' Please I don't need a sympathy ' .

Amelia couldn't hold back anymore so she decided to say something out of character.

She snap my finger loud enough to get their attention, and boldly said

" Actually little brat girlies to tell you the truth... I am not some dumb person like you who is afraid to answer such a simple question asking by a mere teacher" .

Bold you to think that I have some respect?

Before Amelia sat down again she turned to the teacher who was looking at her speechless "Oh and by the way Teach.. the answer is November 9, 1989 ".

The whole class was silent, She could hear Sasha almost crack the desk due to her TalkBack with those people, ' This girl's life makes me sad...now I know what it feels like to be humiliated by others'.

Silence filled the ears of others when the teacher finally said "Okay...thank you for the answer Miss Montero..." He went back to the front and started writing about history and discussing the topic of ancient times.

...it's wasn't my fault that I was born twelve thousand years ago and for the record it isn't my fault that the real owner of this body is already...

After the class was over Amelia heard Sasha came running towards her.

"Aira! You are so brave back there!" She excitedly hug Amelia and can't stop screeching.

' Woah girl i know that I'm awesome but uhm have you ever heard of personal space? '

At that moment Amelia thought Sasha just read her mind because dude Sasha just stop jumping and held both of Amelia's hands and squeeze it with excitement.

" You should have seen the looks of Chloe! " Sasha squealed with more excitement energy coming off of her.

' Yeah Wait what..who now? Ooo Maybe that girl who first mocked me earlier? '

Amelia couldn't even get to the point of what she's talking about so she gave her a confused look just in case.

Sasha groaned and later gasp putting a hand on her mouth shutting herself up, " Do not tell me you don't know who Chloe is?! ".

' Why the hell would I want to know who that brat is ? '

Sasha almost lost her mind before Amelia could even react she dragged her hand towards the halls of the center school.

And of course Amelia could hear the most least unpleasing sound she could ever imagine.

Those two girls who made fun at her from history class earlier are both here, standing at the center of the hall giving attention to everyone.

Who do they think they are? Deities?

Sasha pulled Amelia and pointed to those two girls who laugh like they are some sort of supreme goddesses.

"You see that Aira the one who has a blond hair with gorgeous dark eyes that is Ruby, and the one standing beside her with long straight black hair and another gorgeous dark eyes is Chloe "

Sasha told me with irritated looks in her eyes muttered as quiet as she could that she thought no one can hear her. " Well.. I kinda admit I envied them because of their popularity ".

Sasha says making Amelia roll her eyes at her then she ask Sasha, "Why? Why are you jealous at them only because of their popularity?".

Sasha look at Amelia again "Why? Just look at them. People will give the attention you wanted because you are famous and you won't feel lonely anymore".

Amelia look at those girls one last time and turn her eyes to the girl standing beside her making Amelia sigh in annoyance.

"Just because they gained the so called fame that doesn't mean they're not lonely, Yes it is true they have the attention they wanted but those people who give them the attention only give them the gorgeous eyes and those sweet talks? Are literal bullshit.

Because those people who are in the dark side of Fame doesn't know how to value themselves, that's why they seek attention to feel the unreal love from the people whose also desperate for attention. But those people who are alone are the greatest people to have the real love they want, and yes they may be alone but that's what they think because in reality they had the best people to keep them company for a lifetime. "

Sasha was speechless and so am as Amelia. Before Amelia knew it that she had gotten out of character again.

Oh for oblivion sake why I must say things out of the ordinary.

I must always remember I'm Aira now the shy and weak girl who was always bullied by others, My words mustn't be that kind who has a bottom meaning oh for the love of the supreme deity!

Sasha shook her head in amazement "A-aira you didn't tell me that you had those type of words to say.... "

Amelia wave both of her hands aggressively while shaking her head a little or rather a bit intense.

" N-no I was just surprised! that I blurted those words out ... Ple-please don't be speechless I-Im also shock! "

My attitude must be shy I tell you Amelia!

We both stared at each other and I must admit this is quite awkward but I can't be stuck in this awkward situation till infinity is broken.

Sasha gave me a confused look and raised a brow " Come on Aira you can tell me anything! Just say it and leave it to me! " She exclaimed excitedly.

Oh how much I hate this kind of talking.

Sasha is so happy and didn't waste a second to grabbed Amelia's hand and dragged her outside the center hall and went straight to the Library.

And Amelia must also admit that the outside scenario of this school is quite a peaceful place to destroy all your problems away.

Amelia lost to her dimension of thoughts on how she is going to unseal some parts of her soul and be awaken, but she know school libraries has some ancient and supernatural books hidden in the depths of it.

" We're here! ".

At the voice of Sasha sign that they have arrived Amelia look at the library that is standing infront of them.

Oh my goodness stars really do align-. It is bigger than any of my goals in life! Oh wait? do I even have a goal in life? Well alright it's a joke but just look at this marvelous master piece.

Well then shall we get into character?

" U-uhm..can we go inside Sasha? "

And here we go again Amelia's hand has been dragged by a certain female teenager excitedly marching to the inside of the library.

As they both entered, A woman sitting at the other side of the room reading a book which Amelia has guess she's the librarian, later on she stop and look at us as she said

"I.D please".

Sasha grab Amelia's hand towards that woman which she presumed a counter?

Sasha shows her i.d and Amelia..lets just say she don't know what she's going to do, then Sasha whispered to her.

"Aira if you forgot your i.d you can pay for your stay here".

Amelia look at her with her face saying

' How much? '

Sasha gave her a peace sign which two fingers means two paper money...?

Her hand reached her pocket finding two papers as she felt a smooth fabric? embraces her fingers so she got it out, yep and it's two pieces of paper money.

Alright I don't know what you called a paper money for but that's what we demons call it.

Amelia handed the money to the woman who was sitting not long when Sasha started dragged her to the science section.

Oh how cute a teenage girl who want to built a scientific future?-

Amelia thoughts has been corrupted when Sasha took a book about astronomy....

' Well isn't this lovely a teenage girl dreamt about reaching the far stars '

Sasha gaze at Amelia asking of what kind of book she wanted to read and Amelia have no choice but to say it "...uhm ancient times... "

Sasha told Amelia and pointed out, that the librarian knows where they keep it because ancient books normally don't display out in the open.

Amelia nodded and went to the woman who is still reading her book in one hand while her other hand is also occupied with her still hot coffee.

" Umm... "

Amelia was about to continue her question when the woman look at her with uninterested eyes and Amelia can tell this woman is not just any ordinary human.

"You're a witch aren't you?".

Amelia ask and the woman look surprised to hear it from her, by the time the woman closed her book and put down her very own coffee she began to speak.

" So..tell me what is it that you seek in my territory? "

Amelia didn't hesitate to say, " I would like to know what happened after the death of the Rules of the Netherworld".

The woman sigh and stood up from her chair and silently whispered " follow me ", Amelia obey to what she say as they both walk to the last floor of the library meeting the dead end.

The woman chant a spell to open the hidden portal where lies a thousands of books resting on its own place, at the center of the hidden room where a table stand firm and a book resting peacefully on top of it.

" I am no ordinary witch.. I am the guardian of history and the witch of mischief " The woman infront of her said.

The witch again gaze at Amelia and ask her what is her true being, yet Amelia couldn't trust her not knowing what will she do once she knows who she really is.

" I cannot tell you who am I, Unless you will tell me what happened after The Ruler's death ".

The witch nods as she raised two of her arms and chant another spell which is to see the past.

Amelia could feel her soul is leaving the body of the girl she was trapped in as she travel back in time centuries ago..yet Amelia is still surprised that witch didn't come with her.

Amelia guess she is the kind of witch who gives privacy and the thought of it makes her smile not until.

..." No! Theo Don't ! "...

Their cries.

..." Tsk you whiny wolf ! "...

Those screams that I don't want to hear again.

..." Don't kill her majesty please ! "...

The sympathy that the others has given me.

..." I will kill your soul slowly yet painfully your majesty~ "...

The blood I shed.

..." I will seal you before you destroy the entire dimension ! "...

The life I once own.

..." Please No ! "...

Is causing me.

To restart everything from the beginning.

...These are the least reason why I'm still in the verge of dying....

After the man killed the Queen he then sealed Amelia inside the transparent gem and soon the color of the gem turned black.

One of his followers approach him and ask

" Now that the mission was a success sir..what are we going to do now? ".

The man replied to him " I want you to spread the news that the King of the Sky kingdom is dead, and the killer is none other than the Queen of the Netherworld herself...and I, The right hand of the previous king shall become the new king " .

Amelia's eyes widen to what he just says.

What the heck are you saying? Are you a literal crazy? Do you think I have the guts to kill him?

Amelia couldn't contain her anger when the scene infront of her changed into a very familiar place, Where the man opened a huge certain door and inside there's a certain man sleeping peacefully on the bed.

Wait...what is he going to do-

Before Amelia knew it. The certain man has been stabbed in the heart with a dagger, vomiting with blood and nonstop coughing gasping for air yet there is none.

Then the man who stabbed him grinned evily* while holding the neck of the certain man who is now laying helplessly.

" Look so hopeless now your highness~ "

The man who lays in the the cold and colorless floor held a grudge against the man who stabbed him with pride and replied

"You traitor" .

The man couldn't hold back his laughter and he laughed so hard causing him to cough

"Me?! haha...very funny but

I am not the real traitor here your Highness~ ... Because the real one is already died".

Amelia was about to launch herself forward when her soul is taken back by a force,

The place has been replaced by familiar smell of old and dusty papers of a certain room.

A woman who is sitting at the center of the hidden library with a book in her hand as she speak "So.. Do you now know what happened after your death? Your Majesty?" .

Amelia smiled and replied "Yes and I am extremely grateful for it".

Amelia urned around and met the woman's face which looks like it she is confused, As Amelia began to reply again.

"You know..The witch who is a guardian of history didn't told me, that she already knew what is happening around the four dimensions... I wanna ask why you didn't tell anyone in the remaining three of what is actually the real story behind why the king is dead?".

The woman sigh and said "To tell you the truth your majesty..I was forced by that man not to say a word to anyone or..."

" Or?"

" ..or he will destroy the human dimension itself".

"Tell me everything you know."

Amelia was about to finish her sentence when she was surprised that the woman kneeled infront of her.

"Please spare me your majesty!".

"You didn't do anything to anger me-

Besides even if you did, how can I possibly kill you? I'm just an ordinary human being now after all".

"I don't care ! Just kill me!- wait What?!".

Amelia shrug her shoulders and the woman just look a bit intense? .

"Bu-but how can you be just?! JUST?! ordinary?!, You are The Queen! The most powerful amongst the rulers of the four dimensions! How?! "

The words of the woman made Amelia thought, The most powerful among the four? Interesting.

Amelia then replied "I could sense the enormous tension you have now, but please put in mind that I am no longer the ruler and I think I could live my life here as a human being".

Amelia's words made the witch's twitch her brows "Please tell me you're joking".

At that moment Amelia giggle and stated the face of "Of course I am joking" .

The witch sigh and sat down at the hidden library's floor.

"it is a good thing you are because if my predictions are correct the entire dimension need you sooner or later ".

That caused Amelia to raised a brow.

Need me? Mostly everyone hated a demon let alone a leader among the demons.

The witch spoke again "Ah this reminds me your majesty".

" Hmm? " .

"If it's true that your powers are no longer there you could still get it back"

Ohh? Keep me amuse I think I could feel my mind getting excited.

Amelia cleared her throat "proceed ".

The witch smiled widely as suggested the "Well I have a perfect guide for you" .

'That woman give me some pretty good methods to regained my powers back, how lovely of her to do so.

But what makes me more confused is that why did that man do all of that? What is he plotting and what's more is...what

does he want from me? framing me to sank in the endless bottom of the abyss.

needed me? she wants me to stop that man from his own schemes? I admit He and I didn't have a good relationship from the start, He and I aren't even friends in the first place after I was re-'

Amelia's thought was cut when a certain female voice called out "Aira! Where have you been? I've been so worried about you".

Amelia look at her and said "Sasha... It's just that I lost track of time reading books... And I'm sorry if I made you worry.... "

Sasha stated "No No it's okay by the way you look happy?".

Of course because I'm gonna be able to get my powers back!

Amelia smiled and said "mhmm after all I did read some pretty interesting historical stories" .

Both of them decided to walk while talking with each other "ohh tell me about it" Sasha talked to Amelia happily while heading back.

Amelia replied with a grin "It's about how a rebellious teenager broke the rules inorder to take back what's rightfully hers!".

After their talking. Classes started and soon it ended fast, the sky turned into a beautiful purple with yellow hue reminding us that this day where the sun will set soon and the moon will rise in the gorgeous dark sky where the stars never loses its own shine.

By the time Amelia reached home she greeted her mom which she is still not used to because she isn't her mother.

...Not that I have one in the first place....

Amelia noticed that she looks exhausted.

I guess I could say from work? I started helping her out from the house chores, I could only fold some laundry and wash the dishes and I assumed that she didn't cook any meals because it seems like she's tired.

So I told her to go upstairs on her room and assured for while cuz I'mma cook something..this isn't any fancy or any like glamorous meals but I know what humans crave the most when they are drained.

It is either a breakup or a breakdown,

I started to snap my fingers twice then the ingredients I want to prepare appeared infront of me.

And I did mention I no longer have my powers right? Haha wrong. I still have some left, but only a small amount of them left now that's why I can't get any of my flame to start.

So yeah I do the cooking and next thing I know is.. it's done.

I put the dinner on the table and started to make a drink for her mom

Okay please put in mind that she's is not my mom! I am not her daughter anyway but this body is.

An hour has passed and Amelia went upstairs to check up on her ...and it seems like she's sound as sleep.

Amelia didn't hesitate to went inside and observe the mother's features and the way she breathe back in fort, her heart is calm and so does the blood flowing through her veins.

"Humans are indeed such interesting creatures...they may be greedy, envious and has the pride. yet they still have the heart of affection and admiration inside of them...the problem is they just don't know how to use it".

Amelia was about to say that dinner is ready when she groaned and stretch her arms, and hug the pillow beside her while mumbling the name Aira.

It got Amelia chuckled of how such a baby young mother she is, but that moment stop when Amelia poked her cheeks and said

"Mom dinner is ready".

She opened her eyes slowly and start to rub them as she sit down on top her bed and stared at the cold wall infront of her and slowly turning her head towards me.

She just nods and smiles at me then ask

"Aira? Why do you look sad sweetheart?" .

Because if only I have one who can take care of me like their own child but there's no one there .... Ha! Who will take care of a dark child anyway.

" Nothing ma! I just got so worried that I thought you are sick ".

The woman caress Amelia's cheek and said

"You worry to much this is nothing...Now let's go eat the dinner you made".

The woman got up and first went downstairs as Amelia followed her, walking straight to the kitchen had her eyes starstruck on the meals that was placed on the table.

"Sweetie! You didn't have to go this far... "

Did I just heard a sob?

Amelia's so called mother continue "Darling...we didn't have any money left and you how can you make this? We no longer have such ingredients inside the fridge.."

Amelia patted her back to comfort her "Ma.. it's alright besides! I used my savings and I want you to feel better this way please don't be sad".

Okay I lied about the savings part more like a stealing part.

The mother wiped her teary eyes as she replied "I'm not sad these are tears of joy! Now come lets eat while it's still hot".

Amelia is happy to the being infront of her happily sit on one of the chairs yet her happiness is turn into a frown "Actually ma...I can't join you..."

The mother look at Amelia "And why?"

Amelia smiled once gain "I have something to do upstairs..and I made them especially for you".

"Aww thank you honey, but are you sure you don't want to eat?".

"Mhmm thanks for the invite though".

She smiled as Amelia head back upstairs

locking the room of Aira's door.

Pen...pen...pen...Pen! I need a pen!

Amelia has been searching around the room from the bookshelf to the bottom of the bed, to the desk and under the carpet.

No, I have a better idea.

Amelia stand at the center of the room and started to write the letters on the air, each letter she wrote started to light up.

Amelia wrote the final letter above her and a symbol after it, as she sat down and started to focus her mind backwards.

If the witch is right that this is how regained all my powers back then I guess it's better to used this than a certain forbidden technique I always used.

Only a couple minutes since Amelia started concentrating until some part of her mind suddenly became dizzy as her body started to numb.

"Ouch!"

Ugh It hurts! It has only been eighteen minutes and it has already starting to hurt? Since when I become so week?!.

Amelia started the formation again..

Piece by piece she started to get a hang of it until it hit eleventh time the formation broke again.

Two hours, my powers just only added by 23 percent how futile I am at this

Amelia tarted to focus again and again until she lost track of time and lost her consciousness as she fall into the glimpse of oblivion.
