"Hey Liam."

"Let's have a little fun tonight.", Cory said with a mischievous smile.

Liam closed his locker and stared at Cory with a mortified look.

"C-Cory about that, we've known each other for a long time b-but I-I-I don't like you like that.", he stammered with a hammering heart.

"Huh? What are you talking about? I was inviting you to a little get-together tonight."

"Phew",Liam sighed,"Who's gonna be there?"

Cory smiled mischievously again.

"Well, it's me, Tobias, Maya, Oscar, Lana and a very special person.", he says with his smile growing wider.

"Who is it.", Liam asked, eyeing Cory suspiciously.

"Don't worry about it. Just be there for there for 7:15. Promise you'll be there?", Cory and with an expectant gaze.

Liam gave a warm smile.

"Promise. Wouldn't miss it."

"Great! We're meeting at the abandoned amusement park. See ya later!"

Cory sprinted off with his backpack before Liam can say a thing.

That bastard! No wonder he made me promise! He knows that I don't like that place!

But I still have to go because I promised him.

Liam sighed in frustration and walked out the school building.

Cory should expect me to punch him when I see him tonight.

Liam first stopped home to take a shower and change his clothes. As he came out the shower, he stared at the door of his mom and dad's bedroom.

While I'm here alone and about to probably ruin my pants tonight, they're on an anniversary vacation. Guess I'll have that little sibling I've always wanted after all.

Liam put on his clothes and combed his black hair. He grabbed a bagel from the fridge and headed out the door. As he he walked down the sidewalk, he started thinking.

I don't know the last time we ever hung out like this. We all see each other in school but we don't get to have fun together often. Except Cory and Maya, the golden couple. And there's also Tobias and Lana. Who've been dating for who knows how long. Then there's me and Oscar who are single. If it wasn't for the fact that Oscar sleeps with different girls every week, the others would probably think we'd be gay for each other. I'm the only one who's not in an intimate relationship. Oh! I see them.

Liam broke away from his deep thinking and ran to his friends.

"Liam!", Cory ran up to him and hugged him.

"Get off you goof!"

"Hey, which one of us are you really dating.", Maya said behind him.

"Hehe.."

Cory stepped back at rubbed the back of his head in embarrassment.

"Ha. It's been a while." Tobias came up to Liam and gave him a hi-five.

"Good to see ya bro.", Oscar nodded at him.

"Looks like you picked up some fashion sense in the last month.", Lana said teasingly.

"Yeah,yeah" Liam said while rolling his eyes "Cory, I still don't see that special guest you were talking about."

"Don't worry. She's here already.", Cory said with a mischievous grin.

"Huh?"

"H-hi Liam."

A sweet voice sounded from behind Liam.

He turned around and saw a beautiful girl. Her red irises sparkled like rubies. Her white,smooth skin and pink,full lips and cute smile can make any male fall in love at first sight. However, Liam almost soiled his himself right there in fear.

Damn it! She's here. No wonder he was smiling like that. I got baited!
