This is the third book to be written and published by me. The book will be short, without too much clutter, depending on how long the chapters are, it could be no more than 50 chapters...not sure yet...however...the goal is to finish it in two or four weeks at the most

Where can I start telling about my life? Well, not that anything surprising happened or that I was always filled with happiness. It's quite the opposite.
At the age of eight, when my parents were still married and my older brother still lived at home, everything looked like flowers, but we all know that always, everything ends up in thorns. No matter your financial life or how many "friends" you have, we're always going to come to the same end, or the world starts to fall on our heads, destroying every bit of happiness that was once present.
Specifically, I started to feel the world crumbling over my head when I was eight years old, as I always had a lot of pain and also high fevers almost every day, but things always get worse, don't you agree? Why my body started to die slowly, definitely, my gums and my nose were bleeding, my skin was always bruised, and then after some tests I found out I was sick, leukemia more specifically.
But there it wasn't over my head that the world was crumbling, but over my parents' heads, I saw in their eyes, all the unhappiness that one day, I never imagined could exist.
I was so tired, I didn't know my body could be like this, just because I had some tests done. My body was hurting so bad, Mom said it would be okay, and I just needed to take some medicine, but I was agonized by her worried expression every time she looked at me, and it wasn't long before the doctor came in again. in the office, but this time with papers in his hand.

Well... I unfortunately don't have good news..
The doctor was the first to speak after a while he was looking at the paper, probably the test results

The doctor sighed taking off his glasses, and right after massaging his temples, I think even though he goes through it every day, well I guess, it's still hard to tell someone such devastating news, so that's why after a while he he finally looked into my father's eyes and continued

My mom spoke for the first time in a while, and I could see her shake my dad's hand as she looked at the doctor with her brows slightly furrowed

Well... Leukemia is a type of cancer that affects white blood cells known as leukocytes. The disease begins when some of these cells mutate and begin to multiply out of control in the bone marrow, replacing normal blood cells
The doctor explained leaving his arms on his desk, upon noticing the silence between my parents he sighed again before continuing

The bone marrow, also known as marrow, is the place inside the bone where blood cells are formed ; white blood cells, red blood cells and platelets. The disease can be classified as acute or chronic, depending on the speed of aggravation

Yes, leukemia is curable. If the disease is diagnosed at an early stage, the patient has a high chance of getting cured. The sooner the leukemia is detected, the better the response to the treatment and the greater the chances of a cure
The doctor said slowly with his head, when I looked at my mother she closed her eyes, exhaling slowly through her mouth
