The wind whistled rather eerily as the night welcomes the first night of summer. Four figures concealed by the shadows of the night, stood observant of an abandoned building across from where they stood. Paying attention to any subtle movement as if the slightest movement could cause a tremor. Despite the serious tension in the night, one figure was busy with his phone.

"What are you doing?" the only female of the bunch, nudged the older male, "You're gonna give away our position, oppa!"

"Oh.. right right," The male immediately squats down and facing away from the other three, "I'm just checking my phone for updates on the girls."

"Give it a rest, Gray," The second oldest male in the group, their leader, "They'll be fine, these talk shows usually ends late at night and we'll wrap this up quickly."

"Speaking of wrapping up quickly, we got movement on the second floor," the youngest male in the group, who was keeping watch while the other three chats, informed his partners.

"Let's get to work," the leader cracked his knuckle, "Like we planned, Gray you'll go with Loco while I'll go with Sooyeon."

"Let's get this over with," Gray pushed his back into his pocket and ziplocked it, before fishing out two blades from under his coat. Under the moonlight, it glows threateningly bright. "Let's bust some Vampires."

Being different in physique after their initiation ceremony, Gray and his three comrades are completely different than average people. They can run faster, jump higher, endure longer and hit harder than anyone, but those abilities doesn't always guarantee their safety in missions. Their chances of coming home are always on a 50/50 scale, but that still depends on what kind of Vampire Class they are up with. Equipped with black shades, they can see as clearly as day but at the same time determine  Class of Vampires they are dealing with.

Upon approaching the blind side of the building, Their leader asked, "Loco what are we dealing with".

"We are dealing with 5 C class Vampires, we can finish this in 5 minutes," shrugging his shoulders at his theory.

"Split," the leader only needs to say one word and in that instant they run apart from each other. Gray and Loco went to the right side of the building while Sooyeon and the Leader scours to the left side. With ease all four of them are able to jump to the second floor balcony of each sides of the building.

"Switch to T Scope," their leader whispered through their wireless coms. Tapping on their shades, the lenses turned a blue shade of color. T Scope's function is to detect a temperature change in the air and color of tracks left behind. These vampires' temperatures are cold enough to literally send chills down one's spine if one were to ever get close to one. "Advance," the leader commands.

"Hey, do you think you can get me an autograph from Seulgi?" Loco whispered to Gray as they gently crept slowly on the second floor whilst following the information their scope gave them, "I'm a big fan."

"Get me one from Hoody and we''ll call it even, cool?" Gray offered a fist to Loco to which her returned immediately.

"Stop.." the leader's voice becomes cautious, "I think they got people inside." The four comrades stopped across each other and between them is a big two door room. Andt true enough as Gray and Loco listens closely , they can hear muffled squeals and cries from inside.

"Jay," Gray looks right at Jay, their leader, and receives a nod.

"Now," Jay gives the command and Gray responds by kicking the door open. But what they found were more than just 5 Vampires but at least 2 dozens of them.

"Shit," Loco adds before the four stormed into the room. Gray sliced down the first two vampires that reacted to his door breaking action and impaled another vampire with a throw of his silver knife. Those three vampires disintegrated into ash with wails. Jay two twin swords from his coat and sliced down 5 more just as easily. Sooyeon stayed back with two customised glocks and firing any vampires that tries any funny ideas on sneaking on her comrades. While Loco jumped in the middle with equipped barbed silver gloves, silver barbed kneecaps and silver blade tipped boots. The 4 of them mowed down the first 15 with no problem until Gray's phone rang.

"What?!" Gray complained as his knife impaled one more as it crumbles into dust. He double tapped his ear piece as it switches to his phone's bluetooth. "Hello?" Gray called out rather too loudly as he slides down to avoid a jumping vampire at him.

"Ow that's too loud... Oppa where are you?" A girl's voice answered his reply.

"Oh... Hi! Chungha," Gray flipped a vampire on it's back with a little krav maga and stabbed his knife between it's eyes. "Sorry! I'm at a club," Gray cursed under his breath as he answers the worse way possible, "what is it?"

"Oooh! Can we join  you??" Chungha replies rather cheerfully.

"Wait no! Umm this is like umm.. a Club for males only," Loco who was across Gray stopped to give Gray a weirded out look to which he mouths a reply 'Whatdya want me to say??'

"Oh..." her voice turns into a rather sad one, "We are done shooting our episode oppa, can you pick us up? We are also starving."

Gray dodged left and right when a vampire tries to claw his face out with inhuman speed. Thanks for his almost 10 years of experience, this was a walk in the park. With one last dodge to the right, Gray swiped down his legs and toppled the vampire on it's back to land another knife stab on it's chest. "Oppa you there? What was that scream?" Chungha's voice called out again.

"Ohhh uhhh... someone accidently slipped while dancing," face palming himself before ending the call, "I'll pick you up soon, 10 minutes."

"Ok oppa, see you there," Chungha replies before the line went dead.

Gray puts his phone back into his ziplocked pocket as the second last vampire crumbles into dust. The last one is pinned on the wall with two knives pinned on it's shoulders while Sooyeon keeps her glocks on it's face. "You seriously need to work on your excuses oppa," Sooyeon keeps her eyes on the creature while voicing out her thoughts.

"Cmonnnn.. We were fighting..." Gray holstered his knives into his coat.

"Gray!" Jay who was absent in the room called out farther back from the big aparment and his voice was urgent, "Come here quick!"

Gray rushed to where Jay was calling him. Once he arrived, Jay was unlocking a cell door and inside are at least 6 or 7 people. Their hands binded together above their heads while their eyes are covered with blindfolds. Judging by their condition, they are unharmed except for one who is laying still and only moving slowly while the others shifted away from the sound of the cell unlocking.

"I called back up, they'll be here in 5 minutes," Jay informed as he gently unfolded one blindfold from a girl in school uniform. She was about to scream before Jay covered her mouth with his hand, "you're safe okay? You all are," he addressed everyone in the room, and their tensed bodies began to relax at his words. Gray was about to approach the one that was moving slightly but Jay grabbed his hand and shakes his head. "we'll handle this one, you can go now."

"You sure?" Gray was about to persuade his leader but he knows he can't do much anyways. Jay nods and that was answer enough for Gray.

"Chungha-yah, I'm at the parking lot," dropping honorifics after a year being with them definitely makes a few things even more comfortable. Gray became their  head manager the first year they debuted with the single "Peek-A-Boo". At first it was all just between manager and artist with no connection what so ever, but after months passed by, things changed. The girls became more and more comfortable around him and he was like wise.

Royal Crown, a girl group that debuted late 2016 under Big Hit Entertainment. The group consists of Chungha, the leader and main vocalist, JiU lead vocalist, Seulgi main dancer and lead vocalist while Lisa the youngest is the lead dance and main rapper of the group. Each girl gives off their own charm and Gray, at first, finds it hard to socialize with them beyond the manager and artist circle. The girls, however, were nice and sweet enough to continuously make him feel comfortable. Gray being 32 years of age sees them now as his little sisters, and the girls looking up to him as a their big brother as well. Being the only girl group from groups like BTS and TXT, who debuted just last year, they are taken care of well by the company. After 3 years of hard work, their group earned a big dorm.

"Ok oppa, on the way," Chungha replies before hanging up. Gray stretched his tired limbs after his mission for the night. It has been 10 years since he moved to Seoul and leaving his family in the US. Growing up from a family of hunters, his life wasn't exactly normal even when his parents tried so hard to make him feel other wise, but at the end of the day at age 17 he was able to go toe to toe with a Vampire and killed it in an instant. Deemed a prodigy, in the hunter world his name is renowned and very well respected. He chose to move to Seoul to grow his own wings to which his parents supports very much. He's been daily contact with them even after they became the chieves of the North American branch. Gray himself is on his way to become the new chief of the Seoul branch. Though with such position waiting for him, he always recommends someone else to take point on a mission. Despite his efforts in trying to make other seniors like himself, stand out, he still becomes the number one candidate to become the new and youngest chief ever record in history. He is beloved and respect by the Seoul branch due to his hard work and relentless selfishness to help others.

Gray was staring at the car ceiling reminiscing when someone knocked on the van's window. It was JiU, the second oldest in the group. Gray was about to open sliding doors when he noticed the a gleam on the side of his eye, his knife, "Shit.." Gray shuffled to grab the knife immediately and slides it into the dashboard. Then opens the door before his eyes widened. He just remembered that Chungha usually keeps her snacks in the dashboard and at this hour she usually snacks. It was too late when JiU entered.

"Hi oppa," she plopped onto her seat and sighs a little too loudly, behind her Seulgi the oldest in the group follows suit and takes the back seat. Laying on her back, Seulgi yawns while stretching herself. Lisa entered the last and shuts the door before mirroring JiU's action. Chungha, after making sure her members all entered the van, opens the front seat next to Gray. She sighs and leans back to the seat after putting seatbelts on her self.

"Ready?" Gray asked as the car engine starts, the girls all replied in unison with a loud 'Neh'! With that they are on their way to their favorite junk food restaurant, McDonald's. The drive was smooth usual until Gray noticed from the corner of his eyes that Chungha was about to open the dashboard.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!!"  In order to avoid the crazy mishap, Gray screamed at the top of his lungs which woke everyone and shocked Chungha, "We're here!" Gray arrived right at the drive through, much to his relieve which means Chungha won't go for the dashboard again.

The girls who were both shocked are about to complain until Gray mentioned about arriving at McDonald's. Their once tired and weary selves are back to their energetic selves at the mention of food. "Alright what are your orders?"

"Lisa?" Gray asked first as usual when they are having these types of cheat meals since she is the youngest of the four. Lisa moved to the middle of the van and replied, "I'll take the cheese burger, fries and cola please?" Gray relayed her order.

"Chungha?" Despite being the leader of the group, she is actually the second oldest in the group. Chungha hummed and grins, "I'll have some chicken hot wings with McFlurry Oreo." Gray once again relayed the order.

"JiU?" Gray  asked JiU as she leaned her against Chungha's head rest and points to Lisa. "I'll have the same as Lisa." Gray relayed her order.

"Seulgi, what about you?" Gray turned to Seulgi this time to which she replied with one simple sentence, "I'll have the usual oppa." Her usual consists of two chicken with rice and fries on the side plus a cola.

The order barely took 10 minutes and it was already with the respective owners of the dishes they want. The girls were about to start to opening their food but Gray interrupted, "Oh no no... not in the car, at the dorm," Gray wags his finger as he keeps his eyes on the red light. They are just one block away from the dorm.

"But oppaaaaaa," all four ladies chorused at the same time as i occupied the car, "We're hungryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy."

"Oh boy here we go again," Gray chuckled and shakes his head, "nope just a little bit more and we will arrive." The girls grumbled but listened to their manager all the way. The red light was for another 40 seconds when Gray's phone buzzed.

With his brows raised in curiosity, he fishes out his phone to read the text. The girls were back bein busy with themselves and talking to each other so  it was alright if Gray reads his text. Opening his text, he was even more curious as the text reads

From: Jay

When you're done with the girls, come to the base. There is something I want you to see. 

Upon arriving, the girls immediately rumbled out the van to enjoy their food. Lisa, Jiu and Seulgi were the first ones to arrive in front of the elevator. Gray shakes his head with a chuckle as Chungha follows suit the next behind her members. Gray still finds is amusing that despite their busy schedule, food always brings their energy back up. After everyone left the van, Gray follows close from behind after making sure the van is locked. Holding the elevator open for the girls to enter, Gray entered the last.

"We finished our last showcaseeeee!!" Lisa chimed in loudly in the elevator as it goes up which surprised Gray as usual, "Multiple wins with Snapping,,, uuu... Snapping snapping. Her dance was followed by the other members as they held onto their respective McDonald's bag. Gray can't help but smile seeing their celebration, but it was cut short when they start to jump in the elevator.

"Y..Yahh.. stopppp," Gray held onto the wall of the elevator as it moved due to their jumping, "you'll kill us all..."

"Ooopps mian oppa," JiU stopped after signaling the others to stop, "It's just too unbelievable, felt like yesterday that we just debuted and now we are so popular."

"Neh! We've come so far oppa," Seulgi then gives a wink towards Gray with the 'Saranghae' sign that followed suit, "we couldn't have made it this far if it weren't for you."

"Gomawo oppaaaaa," the girls chorused as the elevator doors open. Gray chuckled and holds the door open for the girls to go out. "I am just doing my job, girls," Gray smiled gently towards the girl.

"aishh this man always too modest," Chungha was first to go out and punched him lightly on the arm, "You should take credit once in a while oppa."

"Unnie got a point there oppa," Lisa did the same as she punched Gray on the arm, "You're way to modest at times."

"What they said oppa," JiU winked at Gray as she dragged Seulgi with her out the elevator. Seulgi, as if to stress on the other member's point, eats a french fry with a smug look on her face before winking at him.

"You I have enough credit when I am with you girls, it's breathtaking," Gray's words earned groans of annoyance from the girls.

"There he goes again," JiU does the 'get out' gesture with her hand as Chungha taps in the code into their dorm. The girls goes in with laughing Gray following close behind. The girls always hated it when he says those corny lines but at the same time it was something that the five of them share as more than just manager and artist. And since the girls don't bring much, it wasn't much of a hassle.

After the girls settled on the sofas and eating their meal, Gray pulled out his phone. "Andwaeeeeee," Lisa covered her face with one of the sofa's pillows. The other three looked towards Gray and earned the same shout.

"Yahhhhh stop shouting it's late already," Gray tries to soothe their surprised reaction. It's an automatic response any time he takes out his phone in front of them because it only meant more schedules the following day., "Relax okay? You haven't heard me yet."

"Fine, oppa," Seulgi sits up to which the other three followed automatically to listen to Gray. Although their faces still evidently show that they rather not hear this right after their busy and long day.

"Well you do have a schedule," the three girls sighed with their shoulders slumped and their pouty lips jutting out, "But it's not until 7pm tomorrow and I have made sure that there is no schedule until then, okay?" The girls breath with relief, "There is more though but this is for Lisa and Seulgi."

The two girls mentioned looked at each with confused looks and back to looking at Gray, "Lisa and Seulgi, you both will begin your first subunit," the news brought gleam on the eyes of the two girls, "The details of the song and concept will be discussed at meeting tomorrow at 7 pm."

"Heol...Daebak,," Both the girls spoke immediately in unison as they stare at each other.

"One.. Two.. Three.." Gray muttered under his breath and on cue all 4 girls jumped up with squeals loud enough to dwarf the calling sound of a dolphin. The four of them have been wondering what it would feel like to have their own sub-group after seeing a lot of their seniors doing so. Now the oldest and the youngest of group got the chance in advance to taste first hand debuting as a sub-group. "And that is my cue to leave," Gray pushed his phone back into his pocket, "You girls need to rest after stuffing your faces kay?"

"Oh.. Oppa, you don't want some tea or maybe milk?" Seulgi stopped her celebration and looks at Gray, "I'm sure you've got quite the busy day too going back and forth the company then also handling today's schedule."

"Thank you Seulgi-ah, but i need to go," Gray smiles assuring the girls that he is fine when he is actually exhausted himself, "I need to take care of something tonight before sleeping."

The girls exchanged looks, "This hour? Isn't it very late already?" Chungha stated as she looked at the clock above the their Plasma screen TV. "You should be resting oppa."

"It will be just a quick errand, don't worry kay? I'll rest very soon once I arrive home," Gray pats the shoulder of the leader with an assuring smile that follows short eventhough he knows the night might not end as quick as he claimed, "Now just rest up as many as you guys can, I'll pick up Lisa and Seulgi at 6pm sharp kay?"

"Neh oppa, please rest," Lisa replied.

"Ok then, I'll be going now then," he bows his head at them before walking to the door.

"Drive safe oppa," Gray turns to find Seulgi with the other three close behind smiling at him with a concerned look in their eyes.

"Don't worry, I'm your super manager right?" Gray winked at her, and something caught him slightly by surprised when he noticed Seulgi turned away with a smile and no longer making eye contact with him, "See you tomorrow."

"N..neh oppa, bye bye," she waved almost timidly before rushing into the living room, which also surprised the other three.

Gray frowned at first before deciding to think that it was probably nothing as he leaves the girls' dorm. After making sure the door is locked, Gray immediately heads for the parking lot. Looking left to right, making sure no one is around, Gray proceeded to where the Van is parked. Moving to the wall facing the back of the van, Gray swiped his hand across the cold wall. A small square sized shape, no bigger than his hand appeared, formed and slides downwards to expose a secret handprint scanner. Pressing his hand on the scanner no longer than 5 seconds, the scanner glows bright green before a door shifted on wall right next to it. The door opens to a bright lit elevator. Gray goes in and just as suddenly as it appeared, the makeshift door disappeared when the elevator closes.

Right under one of Korea's most renowned apartment is the 4th biggest vampire hunter base in the world. Complete with motion sensors on each entrances and actively equipped weapons to kill any vampires brave enough to invade the tightly guarded base. Gray entered another room for another examination with someone watching on another side of wall with vampire proof two way mirrors. "Evening, Gray, how are the girls?" Joo Hyuk the watcher of the examination room spoke through the P.A.

"They're all okay, Hyuk-ah, how's your Sodam and Chaeun?" Gray smiled and loooked at the mirror as he asked how Joo Hyuk's daughter and wife are doing.

"They are all healthy, thanks for asking," Joo Hyuk smiled through the two-way mirror and gave a thumbs up for the go ahead.

"Take care, Hyuk-ah," Gray returned the gesture with his own thumbs up as he enters the base.

The base is right under a big dome which is no surprise to anybody due to the fact of how deep underground this base was built, hundreds of feet under the ground. Gray walked and returning a few bows to some staffs who greeted him as the night shift begins. Nyxus, the name of the base, has two factions; the field faction who is active in hunting and killing vampires while the base faction monitors the city on any vampire threats. With over 2500 individuals functioning as a unit in or outside the base, they are deadly for the vampire race. Gray looked up to the top offices who to catch Jay's figure looking back at him through a balcony on the base's boss office.

Gray enters the boss' room, and welcomes his is a bright lit room nicely put together and everything in order as it should be. It is a nice comfortable place and Gray's soon to be office when he takes over on the upcoming coronation 5 months from the current day. The boss sitting right on his desk while Jay stands by the same window.

"Have a seat Gray," The boss gestured for Gray to take a seat across him, "You need to see this," he states as he hands Gray a tablet after he sits. On the tablet is a video opened, and he presses play.

"Why did you capture all these girls?" Yoochun, the initiating speaker in the video asks the captivated Vampire from last night's raid, "As far I know, you assholes eat and leave a mess. What's so different about tonight's menu?"

Instead of an answer, Yoochun got a sinister almost weirded out laugh from the vampire, "The king will return and this time victory will forever be ours."

"Your king died 300 years ago," Yoochun steps closer to the vampire without any fear, "His body incinerated."

"Was it?" the vampire bites back an answer, "Four of the purest.. Will wake the royal undead from his rest.. As the moon glows blood red... The world will drown in blood shed.. "

Yoochun stood frozen before the vampire as it cackled in triumph, "We will find the pure ones and you all will die." The video ended as the vampire laughed into the night.

"The purest... the pure ones..." Jay repeated those two words as he stares through the window with his arms across his chest, "Why does that sound familiar..?"

"It does, because we've all heard it Jay," Yoochun walked through the doors with a big old fashioned book in hand, "From this 400 year old ancient text," Yoochun places the book on the boss' office and opens a page where he had marked.

"I thought this prophecy was nullified," Gray voiced out as he reads the exact same page that the vampire recited, "300 years ago the association made sure thier king burns into ashes and up till now there is no sign of him being revived whatsoever."

"I guess it's not the case anymore," Yoochun loooked at Gray, "That vampire had such conviction and belief in his eyes."

"What does it mean by the purest?" Jay asked as he step closer to them.

Yoochun flipped several pages carefully to rip any pages accidentally, "Pure ones are rare humans who possesed blood that are deadly to regular vampires but extremely powerful and potent for their king. Once every  hundred years only four humans will be born onto this earth that carry such blood. Upon consuming all four, it is said that their king will become immune from silver and the sun, basically immortal. These four humans are said to be only maidens, no older than 30 years of age, that will become his bride and from them, a new breed of vampires that as immune to the sun and silver like him will be produced. Whether these brides will conceive or feed, anyone they touch will become immortal. The worst part is that these four will grant him supernatural powers that we've never seen before."

"We must act quickly," the boss finally spoke after hearing Yoochun, "Yoochun, make sure we're not the only ones informed of this news. Contact every branch. And send as many available bodies to any known hospital or blood banks in the country. Have them retrieve blood samples of every women born in the last 30 years."

"Right away sir," Yoochun bows and left the room with the book in hand.

"I want you both ready and alert," the boss stood and addressed the two senior hunters in the room, "I don't want those vampires to be the only ones active in the night. I want you both to inform the Ten and form your very own groups to scour the country. As number 1 and 2 of my most elite field agents, I expect you both on high alert, I suspect they will send in their very best on this job as well. If their king rise and obtain what he needs, there's no more hope for humanity."

"Yes sir," Jay and Gray bowed before taking their leave.

The Ten are South Korea's most elite and deadly vampire hunters. Each country has their very own elite squads with their own respective names. Gray is deemed number one on the list with Jay following as the second. Loco, the third. Irene, the fourth. Jennie, the fifth. GD, the sixth. Seyeon, the seventh. Jihyo, the eighth.  Taemin, the ninth. Seolhyun, the ninth. These 10 operates differently in all areas of the country. Being different than regular hunters, these men and women have way stronger stamina. Where any one could succumb to health problems due to lack of sleep, these 10 can go hours without sleep.

The clock strikes 5am in the morning, and the alarm strings it's melodious attempt to wake Gray as he stirred in his sleep. The crack through the curtains, welcomed a ray of sunlight on Gray's slumber. With one eye peeking towards the ray of light, the male groaned in annoyance and sits up with his messy bed hair. Turning off his alarm, Gray gets up and immediately goes to the shower to begin his manager duties for the day. Calling a few people here and there then to the office to see the upcoming events for the upcoming month. All four girls will still be busy with their own personal schedules after their semi day off. Photo shoots and many more. Gray loves his job and is very good at it too. It is safe to say that having best of both worlds as a manager and an elite vampire hunter are very convenient for the 32 year old male.

5.45am, Gray is already back on the road towards the office. The girl's first Asia tour will start in one month, the tickets have been sold out since the last 3 months ever since it was announced available for sale. It is Gray's job to make sure all the flights for the upcoming country's are all ready and making sure that when on flight the girls can relax. After the office visit, Gray has to make one more stop to the Nike company in Korea to arrange everything for Chungha's upcoming collaboration with them. Afterwards, Gray will pick up Lisa and Seulgi for their first ever meeting as a subgroup. For the first time things will get even more exciting for both him and the girls. Usually for the last three years, not everybody will have their own individual schedules, only one or two will go out the whole day or two for photoshoots or small commercials. Yet, now everyone wants a piece of the girls' success. Gray's phone would sometimes never cease to vibrate from notifications of people wanting to collaborate with the girls. Nearing the end of 2019, the girls are rare to be home altogether because each of them would have their own schedules for the day. But when it comes to their comeback, they will always either be in music studio recording or dance studio practicing till they get everything right. Gray has tremendous respect for them and how they worked hard to get where they are now.

"So how was last night?" Hana Kim, one of the manager teams assisting him in managing the girls asked as she slaps his shoulder.

"It was eventful," Gray chuckled as he enters his office, "Noona, any updates on the plane tickets?"

"Everything is ready and set boss," eventhough Hana is a senior and two years older than Gray, she still has the utmost respect for the male, "We made sure to book the seats that are most comfortable for the girls."

"Alright got it, gumawo noona," Gray smiles as he sits down on his chair, "Have we negotiated about the budget sharing with the country hosting the concert for the girls?"

"That is done too," Hana handed him tablet consisting the info about the upcoming concert and any info regarding such matter.

"Thank you noona, you are neat as usual," Gray smiles as he hands her the tablet back, "I'll just have to deal with these papers later and contiue with the schedule today."

"Alright boss, good luck," Hana smiled and bowed before exiting the office/

After Hana left, Gray made report regarding of last night's activities and making sure everything is in place for the week's planning. When starting as one of the assisting managers in helping BTS, Gray was all thumbs and slow because it was all new. However, Gray was never one to give up towards anythhing new so he pushed and learned his trade while altering his role as a senior vampire hunter. Sooner than expected, he was appointed the head manager for Royal Crown as it debuted. At first it was nearly all him to help the girls with the day to day activities since they are just rookies, but with the fame that they gained, Gray now has at least 5 more assisting managers below him to help him progress with the schedules. Now with the girls having separate schedules, Gray can accompany one and has no problem with help when the assisting managers would accompany the girls instead. Things may have gotten easier for him to help the girls but the schedules are piling up and he's starting to get concerned for the girl's physical and mental health.

Upon finishing his papers and visit to Nike, Gray drives to the girls dorm. "Seulgi-ah, i'm on my way to pick you up," Gray says as Seulgi answers his call.

"Neh oppa, we're both ready," Seulgi replied.

"Ok then, I'll be there soon," Gray hangs up the phone and puts it down as he continues to drive on.

"How are Chungha and JiU doing?" Gray asks as Seulgi enters the front seat with him and Lisa sitting in the middle.

"Chungha unnie is sleeping still, I mean she did wake up but then she went back to sleep," Lisa stated as a matter of factly and leans back her seat.

"JiU was making food when we left," Seulgi states as she too inclined her seat with her phone in hand.

As theier car ride proceeds, Gray begins to brief the girls on what will happen regarding their new single as a subgroup. The girl's response were nothing short of excitement as the inclined their seats back to straight in order to listen to Gray as he explains. Their new subgroup name, SeLi, earned grins and fist bump from each other.

"Oppa can we buy some snacks?" Seulgi poked Gray's side as they stopped at red light, "I mean after meeting?"

"Hahaha aigoo you girls," Gray laughed and shook his head as the traffic light glows green, "alright we will get some snacks when we get home, and we'll buy for Chungha and JiU as well."

"Oppa, do you have a girlfriend?" Lisa's question made Gray widen his eyes at the sudden question.

"What made you ask that?" Gray chuckled as he drives on, "You never asked that question before."

"Well, oppa you are handsome and you are such a gentle man not just to us but to every other ladies you met when with us," Lisa states as she leans forward, "So that's why I asked you."

"Haha.. ladies are meant to be treated with care and respect no matter what do or their status," Gray replies as he takes another turn, "But no I don't have any girlfriend as of yet."

"Jinjja??" Seulgi's reaction was the fastest right after Gray said his last sentence.

Gray laughed at Seulgi's question that made him almost jumped, "Yahh haha..Jeongmal jinjja.."

Out of the corner of his eye he might caught a glimpse of Seulgi smiling but then turning her body to face the window still with her phone in her hand. "Then why don't you date Seulgi Unnie?"

"Yahhh!" Gray and Seulgi immediately turned to Lisa and exclaimed which made Lisa blinked in surprised at such abrupt response.

"I'm just saying a piece of my mind, besides I think Seulgi unnie will look great with Gray oppa," Lisa replied back as if it was the most ordinary fact of the matter.

"Really?" Gray and Seulgi starts to look at each other voluntarily before immediately facing away from each other as they finally arrived at the company.

"You...ummm shouldn't say such things," Gray states as he unbuckled his seat belt and exits the car, "I don't think Seulgi will like to date a manager like me."

"What if I would?" Gray caught Seulgi saying it lower than a whisper.

"Sorry?" Gray leaned in into the car and blinked.

"Oh nothing oppa," Seulgi smiled and exits the car. She might have denied it but Gray heard it all too clearly. Being an enhanced individual, he can hear better than any average person especially in such close proximity. And he was dumbstruck.

"oh.. um okay," Gray closes the door and follows the girls from behind as they enter the company's elevator. The ride upstair was quiet and awkward for Gray until Lisa snapped him back into reality.

"Oppa so where is the meeting actually?" Lisa asked him.

"Oh it's the recording studio, the producers will be giving you the sample of the music and you both will start from there," Gray explained as they reached the main floor, "I'll be with you two the whole time."

"Neh oppa," the two girls replied as they walked through the hall of the company, passing dancing studios for trainees. Through it's windows, he can see some trainees already working and practicing.

Upon arriving at the door of the recording studio, Gray couldn't help but smile when reminiscing about the times he would accompany the girls all night long when they were working on their first album, 'Royalty'. He would go back and forth from inside the studio to get them drinks or food. All the hard work paid off when Royal Crown sold their albums worldwide to a whopping 600,000 copies worldwide. It was deemed one of the best starts by the Korean and World media.

Opening the studio room, Seulgi and Lisa entered first, Gray entered after. Gray earned himself a bow from the producing team as he entered, they've known Gray ever since he joined the company and have respect for him due to his dedication for the girls' career. As the session begins, the producer brief the girls about the title of the song, 'Baby Don't Stop'. Seulgi and LIsa listened intently as the briefing commences. Afterwards, the best part is revealed, the girls listened to the music as the producers plays a little snippet of the song.

"Daebak," Seulgi grinned from ear to ear who is mirrored by Lisa the next. Both the girls showed such excitement as they finished listening. Gray smiled and bowed to take his leave to call the girls who are at the dorm.

"Chungha-ah, how are the stay home idols doing?" Gray chuckled after Chungha picks up the call.

"We're doing alright oppa, JiU unnie is watching television," Chungha replied, "I am in the room reading a book, how are Seulgi and Lisa doing?"

"Ah got it got it, good," Gray smiles as he listens to Chungha, "They are very excited with the new single and I think they are practicing right now?"

"Wahh.. I'm excited already," Chungha replied with a happy tone, "Can't wait to hear them! Wish them well from me and JiU unnie."

"Neh, i'll do that," Gray replied with a smile through the phone, "Take care okay? Call me if anything is up."

"Don't worry oppa, we'll be fine," Chungha replied assuringly.

After hanging up the phone, Gray joined the Seulgi and Lisa in the studio. As he comes in, the girls are practicing the lyrics given by the producers as the music plays in the background. Even though it was just practice, Seulgi and Lisa always showed concentration and dedication with a little bit of laughter in between. Leaning against the wall, Gray observed and smiled at how much these girls have grown. To put it simply, he grew as he watches them grow as well in their trainee years. To his eyes they are no longer girls but elegant and hard working women doing what they love most, music. Listening to the music and how the girls practiced it, Gray's eyes somehow finds its way in looking towards Seulgi. To his surprise, he finds his lips curving its way into a smile as he watches her laugh and talk with Lisa.

"Oh no no," Gray immediately averted his eyes downwards, "Stay professional Seonghwa, stay professional." Gray snaps at his own consciousness, but unbeknownst to him, Seulgi noticed he was staring and it was making her feel giddy inside as she practices with Lisa.

"Unnie, gwaenchanha?" Lisa puts her hand on Seulgi's shoulder when she noticed that Seulgi was quiet all of a sudden.

"Ah.. Uh.. neh.. let's continue.." Seulgi brushed off what she just witness in order to focus on the matter at hand, which is to practice with Lisa.

"I know who you're looking at," Lisa whispered before immediately singing her part of the practice. Seulgi was taken aback, and her cheeks was about to change a sllight tinge of pink when she begins to sing her part again.

   'What is wrong with me?' Seulgi talked to herself as she listens to Lisa, 'I should stay professional.'

The intended to be 'practice only' meeting, becomes a full on recording session. The girls immediately picked up on the music and soon was already recording the first verse of the song. There were mistakes, but it was minor. The first session ended around 8.30pm, one of the few times in their daily schedule that they will finish. Bowing in gratitude for the producers, Gray along with Seulgi and Lisa exited the recording studio and went straight to the parking lot.

"How we all just order?" Gray suggests as he enters the van after making sure the two dancers are all set, "I wanna join you girls for tonight."

"Yesss... I agree!" Lisa was the very first to respond in a rather loud tone, "Unnie?"

"Yes of course! It's not everyday our manager oppa can join us on dinner like this," Seulgi leans on her seat and nodded as she grins while looking at Gray.

"Alright it is all set then," Gray then used the Van's phone to call Chungha back at the dorm.

"Neh oppa?" Chungha replied barely a ring or two.

"Have you girls ate yet?" Gray asks as he also drives the car out the parking spot and going up the ramp to exit the parking lot.

"No, not yet," Chungh replied in a rather whining tone, "We're about to cook something though."

"Oh no no don't cook, order something," Gray interrupted, "Seulgi, Lisa and I will tell our order and you can just call in yours along with JiU, it's my treat."

"WOAH! Yayyy okay oppa!" Chunga beamed her reply a little too loudly as her voice echoed in the car, "May I take your order please?"

"Hahah yah haha," Gray then proceeds to driving the car, "Lisa, Seulgi go tell what you want."

The duo immediately and excitedly list their order of food for the night before finally Gray giving his own order of food. Right after Chungha hangs up the phone, Gray asks the girls about the song, "So how was the song?"

"Umm... well it was a little adult-ish?" Seulgi was saying it calmly but Lisa was leaning back and her phone on her face.

"Adult- ish?" Gray raises an eyebrow questioningly, "What do you mean?"

"You'll find out when we release it," Seulgi winked at Gray and chuckled.

"Haha alright then," Gray raises his fingers on the wheel as a sign of surrender, "Have your concept for this song been discussed yet?"

"Sexy oppa," Seulgi winked once again but this time in a slightly naughty manner which earned her a hand to her face by Lisa.

"Yahhh unnieee nooo," Lisa yelled, "You're gonna make oppa crash!"

That reaction made them laugh as the car ride continues on light and happy tone. These type of car rides are the ones that Gray enjoys when becoming their manager. They maybe one of the nation's top idols, but at the end of the day they are just simple ladies who loves to eat, to joke, and play around. In fron of fans and in front of each other, they are unique and amazing in their own way.
