Today is the first day of Ember in Grade 12 in the School of Flower Bloom academy. She got sick yesterday, which is the first day of school. It's just a slight fever but her mother said to take a rest. Thank God! that her classmate last year is still her classmate in this school year.

"EMBER!!!" Luna shouts and she hugs Ember. Luna is Ember’s friend in grade 11. Luna was so excited to meet her friend, Luna and Ember didn’t meet this summer vacation. "I miss you so much... how's your vacation at your grandparent's house?" Luna asked she is someone who wants to talk about what is happening around her.

Unlike Luna who loves to talk. Ember was the complete opposite of her. "Me too Luna I miss you... my vacation is great but there is no signal in the area so I can't communicate with you" Ember said while looking at Luna with a puppy eye.

"I miss you... I miss that look... like you're a dog that knows her mistake" Luna said while smiling and pinching Ember’s cheeks. "It hurts you know!" I said as I stopped her from pinching me.

A few minutes later the teacher came and the students sat down on their seats. Ember and Luna are far from each other, but luckily Ember is beside the window which she likes.

Ember sits down, she is beside the window at the back. Beside her is a mysterious guy who wears a black jacket with a hood on it, Ember couldn't see his face.

She looked below her desk and saw a Lavender rose. The tears just flowed down in her eyes without knowing... she immediately wiped it.

The teacher went inside the room, "class we have two transfer students". "I wish it wasn't some creepy guy like yesterday... " some students said.

"Two of you come in..." the teacher said. As the two guys set foot in the door the student of the class was mesmerized because of the beauty they saw.

As Ember saw the one transfer student, her spine shivered, just like she saw a ghost. The tears in her eyes flow and she can not stop it.

The guy beside her gave a handkerchief “I think you need this…” the mysterious guy said... She accepts the handkerchief and wipes her tears “Thank you!” She forced a smile and she just bowed her head.

"Introduce yourself," the teacher in front said. The teacher in front was the homeroom teacher named Eve, she was also their science teacher.

"Hi guys I am Bleu Lafrancois 16 years old," the guy on the right said, he has bright yellow hair and blue eyes.

"And I am Alexis Cain Scott, also 16 years old and you can call me Cain..." the guy on the left said, he was smiling and looked playful and friendly.

Cain's hair is also yellow but not as bright as the color of the hair of Bleu, his eyes were color brown.

"Mister Lafrancois you can take the sit in front of miss... miss Lawson are you alright?" The teacher asked Ember. Eve noticed Ember, she was pale and shivering.

"Ma'am she has a stomach ache and can't tell you immediately because of the introduction of the student," the mysterious guys said to the teacher.

"Then please accompany Miss Lawson to the infirmary," the teacher said. "Okay ma'am" the mysterious guy replied to the teacher. the guy pat Ember.

Ember was shocked and looked at the mysterious guy, "looked down and held your tummy like it really hurts" the mysterious guy whispered toward her ear as if he was helping Ember to stand up.

"Lafrancois in front of Miss Lawson and Scott sit next beside the guy who helped Miss Lawson..." the teacher said while Ember and the mysterious guy are leaving the classroom.

In the hallway, both of them are still acting, rather Ember is still acting, that her stomach hurts. Her skills in acting are being used.

When she was an Elementary student, and they have activity and its roleplay my classmate always picks me to act the leading role. There is that time when they have a theater play she played Juliet. She clearly remembers the happy days of her Elementary years.

"Thank you for helping me!" Ember said to the mysterious guy, she smiled at him. "It's nothing really..." he said as they walk towards the infirmary room….

When they were in the infirmary room the mysterious guy planned to leave when Ember asked him "What is your name".

"Just call me Lan..." he said and left the room… ‘What a strange name he has’ Ember thought.

...

The nurse came in... She was not in the room when Ember and Lan came in, maybe she was busy doing something. "Are you hurt?" the nurse asked me while holding her cup of coffee.

"Yes ma'am" I replied with a face that looks hurt. "Where?" she asked again.

Ember would like to tell her that her heart hurts, but she thought ‘what if she calls my parents... I don't have any heart disease, it is just... I think Heart is broken…’ Ember remembers that she is just acting " My tummy hurts!" Ember said.

"Maybe nature is calling you?" the nurse said without looking at me. Ember was a bit embarrassed "No ma'am! it suddenly hurt and I-I don't feel that way!" she explained.

"You can lay down in the bed until you feel better..." the nurse said while sipping her drink and looking at some documents.

...

Few hours had passed, it's break time... Ember fell asleep… she heard the voice of Luna talking to someone. Ember looked at where she was, she saw her with Bleu and his friend... Luna saw Ember looking at her, she immediately went beside her.

"Ember are you alright, how's your stomach? " Luna asked, sounding like she is so worried.

"Luna I am fine... I just need some rest" Ember said to her with guilt. Ember could not tell her the truth, Luna is a bit nosy, if she is interested.

"Hi, Ember how are you?" Bleu said he sounded worried. "I-I am fine" Ember responded with a smile "It's been a while... I guess one year has passed?" She added.

"Yeah, one-year" Bleu said as if he was a little awkward. "ab-about my brother..." Ember interrupted him "your brother and I are good friends in the past".

Ember feels uncomfortable whenever Bleu is there. She knows it is not his fault and everything, it’s just that... she doesn't want to hear his brother's name and explanation about that time. Whenever Ember sees Bleu's face, she remembers his brother, and it somewhat irritates her and she feels so sad...

Ember and Luna went to the toilet when the break was almost over. Luna insisted that Ember should remain in the school clinic, but Ember said that she was fine.

"Are you really okay now?" Luna asks while being worried. "Really, I am fine now! my stomach is fine now!" Ember said sounded a bit irritated. The whole time that they were with each other, Luna keeps asking her if she is fine.

"Okay... you're fine, don't be angry, okay!" Luna said she was a bit scared since Ember is not a person who gets irritated all of the sudden.

"Ember you know Bleu?" Luna asks while looking at Ember with curious eyes.

"Yeah, he was an old friend of mine, he went to France last year..." Ember explained, Bleu and Ember met when they were ten years old.

"Really is he your classmate in your old school?" Luna asks, she was curious because Ember didn’t say much about herself. Ember does not want to answer Luna. Ember Knows Luna well, she knew that if she continuously asked a question she would not stop until it was answered.

"No..." Ember replied "should we go, it is almost time for our second subject" she added, thinking of stopping Luna to ask more questions. As soon as she said it, Ember went out to the comfort to avoid Luna.

Ember was almost in the classroom when she saw Bleu leaning on the door waiting for someone. Bleu saw her approaching the door, he waved his hand and approached her.

"Ember, are you angry at me?" Bleu said he looked a bit sad. Ember felt guilty towards Bleu "no! Bleu it's just that I was surprised that you're here that is all..." she said while looking away.

Ember  wished he did not notice her expression "why do you ask?" she asked. "Well... it's just that I feel you're avoiding me…. I guess" he said while being shy.

Ember was shocked to hear Bleu’s question “I-I didn't… I am not avoiding you!” she said, she was defending herself…

“Did you change your phone number… I tried calling you when I was in France but…” he asked.

"Errrr...I changed my phone number..." Ember answered, she suddenly thought of something ‘did he also try to call me?’.

While Ember and Bleu are talking, Luna goes inside the room and talks to her other friends. Luna gave some space to Ember and Bleu, she thinks they needed some space to talk something.

...

After Ember and Bleu finished talking they went inside, Cain approached Ember, he smiled “Zeze chosen girl… seems like he does have a quality standard in choosing a girl” he said.

Ember was confused and asked Cain ``Zeze?”, she didn’t know who Zeze was. Cain smiled at her and whispered “Blaize… he always talks about you...”.

Ember was shocked, Bleu was confused, he didn’t notice that Cain walked toward Ember and he didn’t hear what they talked about.

...

The teacher came in and the students who were busy mingling with each other stopped and walked towards their seats. “Good Afternoon Class I will be your teacher in mathematics. You can call me Ma’am Joan” The teacher smiled.

Joan started to discuss the lesson, she didn’t try to let the students introduce themselves...

After the discussion, Joan gave an activity, which is three members per group. Ember knew that Luna and she would be a group so she invited Lan as the third member.

"Ember, do you have a group? " Bleu asked, he was shy and a bit flustered. "Sorry Bleu, I already have a group and we already have three members..." Ember said while feeling guilty.

She knew Bleu would ask but she already invited Lan, who helped her this morning. "HUH?" Luna responded with a shock on her face, she did not know that Ember already invited Lan.

"Luna I forgot to tell you... I invite Lan" Ember explained. "The hood guy?" Luna asked, she really didn't care who the third member was, but she thought that Ember would ask Bleu because they were friends.

"Yeah," Ember said with a smile on her face. "Then next time..." Bleu said, sounded and looked sad.

Bleu and Cain are in the same group... The first activity is a little bit hard but for Cain and Bleu it would be as easy as reading a storybook.

Cain ranked third in their year overall ranking, in their past school and while Bleu is the first. It's not only Blue and Cain, Ember can also do the activity all by herself, she ranked first last school year.

"Can I help with anything?" Lan asks Ember. "Yeah... Can you do this..." Ember replied, giving him a paper.

Wondering, Ember felt she heard the voice of Lan somewhere. "Me too Ember!" Luna said with excitement. Luna is not smart as Ember but her grades are average.

...

Only a few more minutes before the activity needs to pass to the teacher... Bleu and Cain already finished there. Ember's group is almost done…

"Bleu, can I ask you something?" Cain asks while writing their names in the paper.

"Yeah! sure!" Blue responds while looking at Ember. "Do you like Ember?" Cain asks him while fixing their papers. "You're so straightforward! Why do you ask?" Bleu said while being embarrassed.

"You always approach her, you always look at her..." Cain said while looking at his face to face and straight to eyes.

Bleu starts to blush, his face turns red and he avoids eye contact with Cain. He stopped and looked at Ember.

"You're so honest," Cain said while stopping himself from laughing.

"Well I do like her in the past and I still like her" Bleu said. "Maybe this is the time... I will court her" he added.

Cain keeps quiet and starts to continue what he's doing… "You're so mean!" Bleu said with a mad tone because Cain didn’t respond to him.

Cain just keep quiet... he moves his lips "Zeze this is bad" he murmured to himself

On the other hand the group of Ember... Ember is having trouble. She can not finish the hardest question in the activity. She is helping Luna in doing her task and she cannot concentrate on what she is doing.

"Can I have some of that?" Lan said, getting some of the tasks of Ember "Ahhhh! Uhhhh… sure!" Ember replied she can not refuse.

Lan already got some. "Luna are you finished?" Ember asks Luna. "Yeah! I do not need any help with this... I already understand and this is the last one" Luna said, she knew Ember was having a little trouble, she is being considerate.

"Lan you leave only one question," Ember said, she is done with it and wants to get the other paper to Lan. "I am done..." Lan said he gets the other paper to Luna and Ember. "I will write our names and pass them to Ma'am Joan..." he added.

Ember was shocked when Lan told her, he was done. Lan gets the hardest question in the activity and finishes it in a few minutes.

Lan wrote their names and fixed the papers and he somewhat changed something and the two girls didn’t notice. "Lan you should let Ember look at it," Luna said. She is doubting Lan because he is too fast to answer it all.

"Pass all the papers..." the teacher said. Lan immediately passes the paper without consulting it to Ember because the teacher is in the hurry...

It's been a week since school started… Ember was sitting under the tree thinking... She was thinking about the voice of Lan. She knew ...  she heard it somewhere, but where.

Thinking about it she remembers ‘him’. ‘Him again... I really miss him’ Ember thought to herself. “I Want to see him, I don't want to see him. He hurt me more than my family hurt me in the past. At least it’s not really my parents… and my parents have a reason, while ‘HIM’ he just left without saying goodbye… or at least before he left he could tell me the reason and when he was going back… he promised me…” Ember said to herself as she was alone.

It’s not only about him why Ember is alone; she was also thinking about Bleu, he was giving her chocolate and flowers since the next day he transferred to the school.

"Ember what are you doing" Luna saw Ember sitting in the grass under the tree.  "Nothing... just thinking of something" Ember replied to Luna.

"We've been looking for you," Luna said while out-breath "I know what you are thinking Ember!" she added while smirking at Ember.

Ember was confused "What?" she asked. Ember knew Luna did not know who she was thinking of and that is ‘him’...

"Bleu!" she answered Ember while smiling. ‘She was kind of right I did think of Bleu… but I was more thinking of 'HIM’ Ember thought.

"This what you call L.O.V.E, love Ember" Luna added sounded so excited. "Love I don't think so, we are just friends Luna" Ember flatly denied.

"I think he is courting you..." Luna said she loves talking about relationships.

Ember doesn't really understand Luna, she was always so excited when talking about LOVE but Ember does not really get it.

When she starts to talk about that topic Ember does is listen. When she asks Ember about it, Ember always changes the topic she doesn't want to talk about.

"Should we go, the break time is almost over" Luna said and I agreed.

...

They were almost in the classroom when their teacher Eve called them. Eve asked Ember and Luna to get some things in the faculty, it is needed for the discussion for today...

When they got to the room, they both put the things on the desk of the teacher. After that, they immediately went to their seat because the teacher was already in the classroom... Ember sat down on her seat and she saw Bleu looking at her.

"Where have you been, we look everywhere," Bleu said, sounding worried.

"I was lying in the grass under the tree in the garden," Ember said. ‘He looks so worried’ Ember thought. "Ohhh!" he responded.

Ember did not go with them this break, she just wants to be alone and think of some stuff.

The teacher started her lesson...

Ember could not concentrate, she remembered Aunt Lafrancois, she was the mother of Bleu and Blaize, she wanted to talk to Ember before they went to France.

Ember was too busy when she called, and one week after.... they went to France until then Ember didn’t hear news about them and then Ember already changed her phone number.

Ember was looking at the window wondering what Aunt Lafrancois wanted to say...

"Miss Lawson... Miss LAWSON!!!” Teacher Eve called Ember, Eve noticed that Ember is not paying attention to the discussion.

"Yes ma'am," Ember said, she immediately stood because of shock. "Read the next sentence..." teacher Eve said. Ember, don't know what page or sentence it is.

"page 21, 12th sentence" Lan whispered. "Thank you!" I whispered to Lan. Ember read it and the teacher let her sit down.

After teacher Eve finished her lesson she told the students that the next teacher is absent and they should do a self-study...

...

When the teacher left Blue looked at Ember  "Do you like the chocolate I gave you?" he asked me.

"Yeah! I love sweets and you know it" Ember replied to him.

"KRRINNNGGG KKKRRRINNNGGG..." a phone suddenly rings, it was Cain's phone. Ember notices that Lan is not inside the room.

"I need to get outside Zeze wait..." Cain said while talking on the phone.

Ember was shocked that she wants to follow Cain. She knows that Zeze is Blaize, the brother of Bleu.

Ember looked at Bleu “Is your brother came back with?” she asked, she was curious. Bleu looked at her, he knew that her brother and she had been friends for a long time but this was the first time Ember asked him about his brother, it's been a week since they transferred.

“My brother is still in France, he was busy learning to handle the business of our Grandpa,” Bleu said, his face was sad.

“Business of your Grandpa?” Ember asked, she was confused.

Ember knows that Blue’s and Blaize’s Grandpa had his own corporation, but she was confused why Blaize needs to learn how to handle his Grandpa’s business.

“Didn’t our mom tell you… Our Grandpa died last year and before he died, he wanted to see my brother that is why, brother Blaize was forced to leave earlier than us” Bleu explained, Bleu thought that Ember knew.

Ember was shocked to hear what Bleu said, she didn’t know.

Meanwhile, Cain was talking to the phone… “Zeze, why did you call?” Cain said while smiling, he really liked Zeze.

“Nothing in particular… and don’t call me Zeze!” Blaize said with a mad tone.

“Zeze is a cute nickname you know!” Cain depended, he was still smiling “When are you coming here?” Cain asked, he can’t wait to see Blaize's reaction when he learns that his dear brother is courting his girl.

“I left France earlier than you and Bleu… I think I am there from the very start… I thought you had keen eyes!” Blaize said, he immediately ended the call.

Cain was dumbfounded when he heard that Blaize is in the country or you could say already enrolled in the school...
