MEETING MY BOSS'S SON

****Badu's (POV)****

Today is a very special day and also a very sad one my old boss(Mr. Aakarshan) is retiring and his son will be taking over. So they will be throwing a party for them both. I am now putting on my dress,I'll be wearing a white dress that has two slash showing my belly with black heels and a black jacket.

The party will be kept at Mr Aakarshan's home. This would be my second time going to his home. Mr. Aakarshan's house is very big and beautiful.

I arrived 30 minutes after the starting time. When I enter the first person to greet me is my best friend Neaka we've been friends since grade school. We both enjoy the same things that's why we share an apartment and clothes.

"Hey Bae you finally made it. I thought you changed your mind about coming. You missed meeting Giovanni Aakarshan he's one fine thing I tell you girl!" Neaka exclaimed in one breath.

"Neaka clam down a person is not called a thing for the hundredth time this year" I replied back.

"I'll see him in dew time I'll be back am going to say hi to Mr Aakarshan."

"Okay." she answered as I walked off to fins my old boss. I started walking but I wasn't looking where I was going and hit my head on a wall 'when did the walk reach here', I thought as I stepped back only for my eyes to land on a very handsome young man with sky blue eyes with bloodshot in one wearing a blue suit.

My heart was beating very fast as I stammered an apology.

"Um a-am s-sorry I-I didn't see you there"

"Its okay are you hurt anywhere?" he replied with a dazzling smile that stopped my breath.

"No am all good."Am Giovanni Aakarshan and you are?"

"Oh your Mr Aakarshan's son am Badu Bae Johnson you're new executive assistant" I replied as I shakes his out stretch hand.

"oh your that Badu Bae Johnson that my dad keeps talking about."

"I guess I am,well if you'll excuse me I have to greet your father."

Oh my gosh! I can't believe that that's Giovanni Aakarshan he looks like the guy I had the biggest crush on since grade school. How will I manage working when he's the boss. I greeted Mr Aakarshan and his wife Mrs Aakarshan and their daughter Claire, then went back to Neaka and told her that Giovanni Aakarshan looks like someone I have met before.

"How can you know him when he just came back from his studies in the UK." Neaka asked with a confused expression.

"Do you remember the boy I had a crush on since grade school?" I asked her.

"Yah." She replied in a 'duh tone."Well he looks like him. Giovanni Aakarshan and now he's my new boss!" I saw realization flash through her eyes.

"oh-oh I see what you mean now." Yep she got it am toasted like literally.

MEETING AN OLD CRUSH

******Giovanni's POV******

My plane had just landed,and I was now in my red Lamborghini driving to meet my dad for lunch. I met my dad Mason Aakarshan at my favourite restaurant. He was wearing his usual casual wear consisting of a blue jeans and white T-shirt with a black leather jacket. Don't ask me, I don't know why a man of his age loves wearing casual clothing instead of formal suit, well I guess it runs in the family cause I'm the same.

"Hi dad long time no see."

"Hello sport how was the UK? Did you enjoy your time there?"

There he goes again calling a grown man sport. We talk a while about my studies the business and how mom and Clair was doing.

" So what about that girl you have a crush on have you seen or heard anything about her?" He asked after our talk.

Some of you maybe wondering how my dad knows about my crush and all that, well to answer your unspoken question me and my dad are very close so I told him about her. Well where are my manners am Giovanni Aakarshan the son of the second richest man in the world and the future CEO of Aakarshan's Cooperation. Well the girl my dad is talking about is none other than Badu Johnson. I have the biggest crush on her ever since grade school, but I never had the guts to say more than one word to her 'HI' she's the most Shyest, kindness,loving and caring girl I've ever meet.

"No dad in case you've forgotten am just returning from UK today in over five years." I replied to his question.

"I didn't forget and remember the party to night please and don't ditch like you always do because there's someone I want you to meet." Dad replied in a cheerful voice.

I think this important person he's talking about is his assistant. He's always talking about her saying she's the best, and no he's not in love with her he's happily married to my mother Sophia Aakarshan with three kids.

***Some hours later***

When I arrived I greeted my mom,dad and Clair. Dad then introduced me to soon to be staff, but I realized that someone was missing so I decided to ask.

"Dad where's your old assistant? You haven't introduced us yet."

"She called and notified me that she will be half an hour late." He replied with a smile.

*******30 minutes after the party start********

After the whole introduction I greeted my dad's partners and some of my old friends. My best friend Ace Gordon from grade's school greeted me.

"Hey bro its been to long." He said while giving me a half hug.

"Tell me a out it dude." We were interrupted by the ring of my phone.

" Please excuse me while I answer this I'll be right back."

I look who it was and realized it was my bodyguard he said he he's just checking to make sure. While walking back from answering my phone I bumped into someone. I place my hands on the ladies waist to prevent her from falling. Once she was stable she stepped back then look up. It was in that moment I realize who the lady in front me was. My world came to a halt when my blue eyes fell on her dark brown eyes. She was was wearing a white dress with spaghetti straps with two slashes showing her stomach. The dress fitted her perfectly showing of all her curves. Her hair came down pass her midway back in curls. I watched her stuttered an apology.

"Um a-am s-so s-sorry I-I didn't see you t-there."she stuttered as her cheeks became slightly pink.

"Its okay are you hurt anywhere?" I asked her with a concern look.

"No am all good." I saw realization flash through her eyes at my next words.

"Am Giovanni Aakarshan and you are?"

"Oh your Mr. Aakarshan's son. Am Badu Bae Johnson you're new executive assistant." She replied immediately with a smile as she shook my out stretch hand.

"Oh your that Badu Johnson!? I must say though my father speaks very highly of you." I said with a smile.

I can't believe my hears the girl I have the biggest crush on is my new assistant. I guess the gods are in my favors.

But theirs only one problem and that's the no dating rule. The only way to ask her on a date is if she becomes my PA and i know that will take time.

*****Badu's (POV)*****

"Badu wake up its almost 8, you wouldn't want to be late on your boss's first day would you?" Neaka yelled from behind my closed room door.

I stood up and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower. I walked out of the shower still dripping wet with water because of my rush I forgot to put a towel around me. I picked out a black skirt 1 inch above my knees with a white short sleeve button down blouse, my knob diamond earrings and to finish my outfit I added my favourite black and white wedge heels. I picked up my black purse and rushed down to the kitchen to eat breakfast.

"Good morning Neaka." I greeted her breathless

."Morning Bae, make sure you eat off all your breakfast." She said as she placed a dished with pancake egg and bacons along with a cup of mango juice in front of me.

"Sure thing mom." I replied while rolling me eyes at her."So are we still on for lunch today?" I asked her ask am finishing up my meal.

I walk over to the sink and washed the dish and the cup and place them where they belong.

"Yeah sure." She replied while waving her hand at me as I jogged to the front door.

I checked my wrist watch and saw that it was 8:20

"oh shot." I silently cursed my self in my head for not remembering to set my alarm clock last night.

I got into my green jeep and drove off in the direction of Aakarshan's Cooperation. I drove as fast as I could while silently praying for the cops to be running late too because I couldn't take any more problem this morning.

**************15 minutes later**************

I pulled into the parking lot and quickly found an empty spot to park my jeep. I got out of my jeep and hurriedly made my way to the two big glass doors at the entrance of the building that had two guards on both sides. I entered and ask Julie if our new boss was here.

"Morning Julie is Mr. Aakarshan here as yet?"

"Morning to you too Badu and yes he just arrived a head of you." She replied with a smile.

I thanked her and made my way to my new boss's cabin. I knocked on his door and waited for his permission to enter.

"Come in." I heard him say from inside, then entered.

"Good morning Mr. Aakarshan." I greeted him with a smile.

"Oh good morning Ms. Badu. If its not a problem I'll like you to fill out a form for me right now." He replied with a small professional smile.

"Sure sir." I took the paper and pen from his out stretch hand . I took a seat in front his desk and started filling out the form.

After finish filling out the form I got up and handed him back the own and paper to him.

"Here you go sir."

"Thank you Ms Badu. You may return back to your desk and finish you work."

I turn to leave when I remembered about the meeting with Mr Dalton.

"Um sir your father was suppose to have a meeting today with Mr Dalton at noon to discuss the merging of the two companies."

"Thank you for informing me Ms Badu. My father didn't tell me anything about a merge going on today." He replied with a frown on his face.

"Sir am sure he must have forgotten about it and that must be why he didn't informed you about it."

I said with a small smile then walked out to my quarters. I quickly finish my work and then left for lunch with Neaka.

************After lunch with Neaka***********

I arrived back at work exactly one. I knocked and waited again before entering.

"Good afternoon sir I trust that your meeting with Mr Dalton went very well?" I asked.

"Ah yes ms Badu good day it went very well the companies are now merged together." He answer with a lopsided smirk.

. "That's very good to know sir. So is there anything else for me to do before I take my leave?" I asked not meeting his eyes.

"Yes actually I'd like you to print these for me and fax them to Ace. Then cancel my meeting with Harry and call Davy and tell him I won't make it to his party because of my meeting tonight."

"Sure sir" I took the files and made my way back to my desk to start my work.

*******four hours later******

I've finally finished my work I check my watch and realize it was 9. I went back to his office to give him the files before leaving.

"Good night sir see you tomorrow" "Same to you to ms Badu." He replied with a smirk.

When I arrived home I found Neaka sleeping on the couch so I ate dinner, took a bath then went to bed.

At least I made it through today with out any problem.
