Lily was gazing at the raindrops atop the roof of little hut. It was 6 pm. She was in her lover's house, a little hut in the small village. It was a big difference than the villa she lived for so many years. She was once perfect with beauty, reputation, possession. She was every man's dream. Her beauty could drive them crazy. Among those greedy men, Villi was her choice. Though he was a poor tailor, he was still artless, honest with warm kind heart. She decided to run away with him by the time her heart said "Yes"

"It's cool outside. Let's go inside." Villi voice came through her thoughts. He was behind her hugging her waist so softly. Lily turned her head back to reach to Villi's eyes. They were keeping silent that each could hear other's heartbeats. Both knew tht it was first wedding night for them.

Villi looked directly into Lily's eyes.

"Lily...I know I don't deserve such a perfect girl like you. But I love you. I'll take all the responsibilities for your life. I'll be your loyal husband forever. I promise."

Lily chuckled with her small voice.

"Villi, I ran away with you because I couldn't find a man better than you. I trust you. I'll be your loyal wife too. Let's build a warm family here in your little hut."

They laughed together still hugging each other so tight. The clock was sounding tik tok tik tok like their heartbeat.

It was getting dark outside. But their house was lighted with their warm love. Villi held Lily's little body in his hands and took her to bed. Then he softly put her down onto the bed. Lily was feeling shy with pink cheeks. She was like an innocent, clean rose. Villi couldn't get enough of looking to her small face.

Villi again looked into her eyes and took her face closer to him. His lips started to enter Lily's lips.

For Villi, Lily's lips were sweeter than honey. Her smell was more scented than any perfume. Her body was warmer than the fireplace.

For Lily, Villi's lips were so sharp. His smell could hypnotize her.His manly look never failed to penetrate her heart.

They were kissing so hard. After a moment, Villi slowly took out his lips from Lily's and took a look at Lily to get a permission to continue it.

Lily noded...

The clothes were messy on the floor. Lily's little tired voice appeared often. Every little bite of Villi didn't hurt her but hurt her heart so good. His bites were all around her body. Their bodies were touching so tight. His hands were running through her body from up to down that was making Lily so tired. But they never stopped kissing.

The night was so long. When the morning came, they both welcomed their own little world starting from that day. They were going to be together forever.

It had been a year that Villi and Lily were living together. Lily's belly was getting bigger as the new family member had just arrived to her tummy. She had been pregnant for 3 months. Villi was working so hard these days to provide Lily and the baby to a better life.

"Villi, Villi! The baby is kicking. Come and look," Lily called her husband from the kitchen.

"Lily... I told you not to cook by yourself. Let me do it for you. You just take good care for our baby," Villi said with a little anger while walking into the kitchen.

"Shuh shuh shuh...He is kicking. Listen," Lily reminded.

Villi kneeled down to reach her belly and listen carefully to the sound. Yes, it was kicking.

Villi then stood up and looked at Lily. They were smiling to each other.

"It is the boy," Villi said.

"How do you know?"

"Because his kick is so strong. I think he wants to come out from you so fast."

Lily chuckled. Villi softly kissed her forehead and said,

"He must be cute like his mother."

"He must be manly like his father too," Lily replied.

They laughed together...

Days had passed and summer had changed into autumn.

It was snowing very heavily outside of the little hut. Inside, Lily was battling with death. She tried so hard but the baby didn't came out so easily. She wanted to give up. She couldn't hear anything. Her eyes started to close so slowly.

"Lily, Lily. Don't give up. Please, it's for our baby. Lily, I love you.... Please, Lily don't give up.."

Villi was crying outside of the hut. Inside of the hut was two women and Lily. The women kept pressing to her belly but she was tired and couldn't stand anymore. Finally, she gave up...

"It's a boy!! The baby is born.It's a boy. Villi, Villi," one women yelled.

Lily smiled and whispered,

"Call....him....Aiden."

Then she closed her eyes peacefully. She finally rest in peace.

Villi ran into the room and held Lily's cold body in his hands. He was weeping, kissing her pale forehead a thousand times, who knew if Lily could wake up again.

"Lily...please don't..don't close your eyes..Lily.. You said..you'd be my loyal wife..forever. But now..you leave me without permisson. Lily..Please..." he kept talking to Lily and tears fallingdown like snowing. But sadly, she couldn't hear him anymore.

The two women were sobbing too. But the baby was falling asleep in thier hands like he didn't know anything.

"Villi, we feel sorry for your loss... She gave her life just to save her baby. She is a good mother...Villi, look at your second Lily. He is very alike his mother..."

The woman gave the baby into Villi's hand. Villi was gazing the baby meaninglessly. Then he whispered,

"Aiden..."

The baby opened his eyes like he understood what Villi said. Instead of crying, he smiled at Villi. His smile was like a waterfall, watering Villi's burning heart.

Villi was very surprised at the baby, so were the two women.Then Villi suddenly remembered something. He slowly put the baby down beside his mother.

He whispered, "Let them be together for this night..."
