A 17 year old boy wakes up by his mom shouting his name from down stairs ," cheol wake up already or i will call your dad ". Boy's eyes shot open by the name of his dad and quickly answers back, coming mom .

Hello ! everyone, my name is Byuk Cheol and i live in USA . Now , lets go to mom or else she will beat up my *** . I wore my glasses and made my bed and headed down staires for breakfast . As my parents business persons and own a company , we are very rich but their is one problem, they never had time for me and always busy with their so called important meetings .

We sat down together and started having our breakfast ,it was silent as always and we were quietly eating our food but out of nowhere my dad said these words which shocked the hell out of me. Dad said ," your grandfather has passed away last night due to heart attack and we have to go to Korea and attend his funeral , pack your things because our flight is in one hour .Their are two reasons why i was shocked reason one , my dad is avery strict person and scold me on small reasons and talking while eating is one of them and the second reason , its not like that i am surprised or hurt that me grandfather passed but the fact i didn't knew i had a grandfather and he was alive and i never met him in my 17 years of my life or maybe i did and i don't remember.

Don't be shocked everyone my parents are like this only ,they bombard me with suprises all the time. I am quite sad that i won't be able to attend my classes and meet my sweetheart and best friend , Mun yeong . Initially her name is Ko Mun yeong and she is very beautiful and funny like the girl in every guy's dream. I too have a little bit of crush on her. I am topper of my class and a nerd and not handsome at all with my glasses and pale skin , i almost look like a ghost according to others that's no one really likes me and well be friends with me but that was until ko Mun Yeong came in my life, she was the only one who did not care how i looked despite being so beautiful. Almost every guy is drooling over her. She always

protect me from getting bullied and help me.

I called her and told her the situation and suddenly a idea popped in my mind , i decided to invite her to come with me.I askedy parents and yes! they agreed because they don't really care. She too said ok. I feel like happiest person alive being with my crush and having a kind of vacation, it looks like a dream but i realized it is real when i pinched my self hard.

And now we are on the flight to Korea now .

Its not like i am not sad on my grandfather's death , when i was young i used to hear my classmates say they are going to their grandparents home to visit them , how they loved it .I wanted to meet my grandparents as well but i thought they passed away because my parents never told me about them and when i got to know i did had grandparents they were gone.

I was sad but happy that i can visit their house for once and find out more about them which i couldn't when they where alive.

Our seats were in first class , my parents were doing their work as usual but me and Mun Yeong talked and had fun .

It was one tiring flight and just wanted to jump on bed and sleep like a pig . From airport the car ride was silent because we were to tired to talk. when we reached our grandparents house we were stunned by the beautiful mansion , we quikly opened the door and barged in and as my parents ordered me and Mun Yeong ran to our separate rooms . As soon as layed on bed i fell asleep and woke at 9 o'clock from my mom again shouting from down stairs , when looked at the time i quickly wore my glasses and ran downstairs ,thinking what Mun Yeong must be thinking about me . As i came downstairs i was met with Mun Yeong's most charming smile which melted my heart and then my parents cold stare . I wished everyone good morning and sat to have breakfast with them .

After the breakfast , my parents told us that I should dress up to attend my grandfather's funeral and asked Mun Yeong if she can stay or wants to come with them . Mun Yeong said she will like to stay at home and do some of her homework. And for me, i nodded as yes and went to my and dressed up to attend the funeral.

When we reached the funeral hall , there was no one accept us and there was no photo of my grandfather on thid coffin , well that was disrespectful of my parents to not invite any one and not even put a photo of him there , i thought. after the funeral and burial we headed home.

when we reached the house ,my parents dropped me there and said they would be heading to their work and told me to not leave the house .

As soon as i entered the house i went to my room and changed into casual clothes. Then i went Mun Yeong's room and knocked a few times but when there was no reply i opened the room and found no one there. I thought she must be in kitchen to snack on some thing but i was wrong , she was not there to .

I began to panick but suddenly heard a sound of door get opened or closed, I quickly went there and saw Mun Yeong entering a room.

When I saw Mun Yeong entering a room , I followed her behind and saw the room was filled with books in shelves , it was library, interesting, i thought to myself . I called Mun Yeong and she looked behind in shocked expression which soon turned into a smile. When I asked her what she doing here .

She replied ," I was tired of doing homework, so I decided to explore the house . Sorry for not asking you first before starting exploration", she said as I smiled at her and told her that it was o.k. and she does not need to ask sorry for that.

"I have not explored the library myself, lets explore it together " I said as she nodded . We started exploring the huge library which filled with different kinds of book. We started looking around and looking books for our interest.

As I reached the end of the library, i noticed a table kept at the corner of the room . I marched towards that table and saw there were newspaper cuttings pinned on a soft board placed on the left side of the table ,the table was covered with scattered paper which contained some kind of information or evidence. In the middle of the table abook or some kind of note book placed with a fountain pen kept on its left side.

I got curious and went towards the soft board and saw the newspaper cuttings that were pinned on the board where about several murder cases , kidnappings , suspects and posters of missing children. Was my grandfather some kind of police officer, detective or a secret agent, i thought to myself left dumbstruck at my discovery . Could that be why their were no one else in his funeral and no photo of him kept there because no one knew his real identity? i asked myself. I quickly looked back to see Mun Yeong secretly keeping something in her pocket suspiciously which I kater shrugged it of thinking it must be a something of her interest not wanting to suspect her.

I went towards the table to see the papers closely to see information about different people and a file whose title was SUSPECTS. I was about to start reading it but stopped as i heard someone's footsteps coming closer to me , i knew that it was Mun Yeong. I quickly turned around and went towards Mun Yeong and stood in front of her blocking her from seeing the table and the soft board. I told her that it is late and my parents must have returned and must be searching for us. She nodded as yes and turned back , we started making our way to the door when Mun Yeong turned to me and told me that she was reading a Joke Book which had numerous funny jokes and stories , we laughed as she telling me jokes .

When we reached the dinning hall the food was getting served by my mother. My mind was full of questions abouty grandfather and if my parents knew about him.

After eating food we went to bed but i was restless and wanted to know more about my grandfather.

At night as everyone slept , i snuck out of my bed and made my way to library and opened the library door gently so that it does not make any sound . I made made my way to the table and started looking around when my eyes fell on that diary .As lift the diary a small key fell from the diary which pressed in , i slipped the key in my pocket and looked at the title of the diary , 'INVESTIGATION RECORDS '. I took the diary with me to my room mak8ng sure that no one wakes up amd as soon as i entered my room ,I turned on the table lamp and started reading . ' INVESTIGATION 1'
