……and then their eyes met!” there was this little silly girl always clumsy and always so loud that made everyone really irritated…..she was kind , normal ,simple and yes, really gifted with lots of artistic talent and a flexible body that danced well! Eyes dark brown, lips rosy pink, and brown long hair which suited her well…. her name was Grace. This was her last year of high school and she decided to spend it well and she did. Now it was the time for the last school trip…..everyone’s heart was filled with joy and excitement with a pinch of sadness as this was their last trip. Grace was packing her bag and then suddenly Sarah walked in…..Sarah and Grace were best friends from 2years, though time doesn’t matter in friendship, they had 2years of friendship but their bond was like forever one. 3 days were left for the trip and Sarah and Grace were discussing with their group about the trip…..as they were in a girls school , they actually didn’t had the pleasure of dating any boy, all the girls in their group always talked about boys and so again they started….. “Do you know, on the day of our trip many different schools have their trip at the same place we’re going to.” said Maria “God! I’m so excited to see hot and handsome boys there” said Cali and thus Grace and Sarah started laughing and continued the gossips. Their school had girls but they all did fun as the other co-ed schools does. Finally it was the day of the trip, everyone brought their ID cards, water bottle and lots of snacks, when the bus was leaving the school they all shouted and screamed…. “yay!!!!.......whoooohooooo!!!” as Grace can’t sit on one place, she played songs and asked everyone to dance. Everyone was dancing and singing and it was really like a DJ party in the bus! Grace was cute, charming and funny on the outside but she was quite emotional and soft hearted on the inside …..She was enjoying but there was a little sadness in her heart for leaving this beautiful school, classmates, teachers and her friends…..so all she used to do was live the moment to the fullest!

she agreed and was standing in the line……but as it was taking too long people started to break the line and rush towards the counter…..it was such a hassle….luckily Grace managed to get to the counter and she kept asking for bags but the bag distributer was so busy in returning others bags that she couldn’t hear Grace……and then a boy and his friend started to call the distributer… “aunty , aunty……” as Grace heard she laughed hard……as the distributer was so young and the boy was calling her aunty…..she laughed and said… “ aunty? Seriously!......I cant stop laughing…” when the boy saw her he was stunned …….he was the one who was staring Grace earlier and again he saw her so he was lost in her beauty…… “hello! Your bag is here” said the distributer and and the boy came back to his senses and collected the bag and Grace was still laughing….. “ alright alright…..it was really funny” said the boy to Grace…..as Grace turned……. and then their eyes met…..she was lost in those beautiful and mesmerizing hazel brown eyes of the boy ……then suddenly the boy asked “ you are from Mindset high school, right?” and Grace, being nervous said “ yes , yes” and she couldn’t look at him again…..he was too handsome….and thus they went to their paths saying goodbye….it was just nine seconds of a moment…..Grace really wanted to talk to him……but as they didn’t had that much time she couldn’t……and then she realised she forgot to ask his name….she laughed on herself and wondered how she could forget to ask a person his name……and yes it was their last meet…….she really enjoyed her trip and one of the memorable moment of hers was with this guy…..she often used to imagine this guy in her dreamy scenarios and always had different dreams about him…..she was also interested in psychological facts so she used to search reasons and facts about dreams and she kept high expectations considering the dreams….she use to think that one day if it’s in her destiny, she would meet him again......

years passed……and now she turned 19……from a immature ,charming and extrovert girl into a mature, beautiful and a little bit of introvert girl…..she was totally comfortable and all of herself when she was with people whom she knew and spent most of the time with, but in front of others she talked less and was a little shy and nervous at times…..this made people think that Grace was little egoistic and with lots of attitude…..but she never minded what others people thought about her…..she always minded her own business and preferred to have a most of the time alone and loved to spend time watching the clouds in the sky…..apart from this she was all the way most interested in designing and often watched Asian dramas which gave her high expectations in case of love life…..she fantasied a perfect love story that would never be true……

one day when she was heading to college, she was running late of time and was in a total rush, she didn’t even had time for breakfast…..she locked the door of her house…..and kept the keys in the bag……and rushed to catch a bus…..luckily she got the last bus and reached college on time……but \*\*\* she had to fill the form for examination she started to run towards the office…..while running….her ankle got twisted and the barged into a boy, the books were in the air ,their bags were in the air and both were on the ground…..when they fell the boy placed his hand below Grace’s head so that she wouldn’t get hurt…..it took some time for Grace to come to her senses…but when she did…she took her books and bags and said, “sorry!!.......um..umm….thank you!!” and ran towards the office….she barely looked at the boy…..when the boy got up….he saw keys on the floor…..he guessed it was Grace’s and yes it was!....he tried to call her but she didn’t listen…..and he lost the sight of her…..all the girls were jealous of Grace cause she barged into a tall, smart, handsome hunk of the college, his eyes were like a brown ocean in which anyone would like to drown, fair and with sharp features with black silky hair….he was ….Aaron…he was very popular in college due to his smartness and handsome face…..he was also in designing field and his designs were all mesmerizing….he always stood first in all competitions….hence all the teachers and students praised him…..as Grace was new in college she didn’t knew all this gossips…..she barely had any friends In college accept for Sarah….they were in same school….same society….so they decided to take same college but their departments were different…..Aaron wondered what were those keys off!!.....when Grace submitted the form…..she attended the lectures and the time passed….

college got over and everyone started to head to their homes……Grace got the bus and reached home….Grace searched for the keys to unlock the door but couldn’t find it…..she panicked…….she rushed towards the bus stop and started to look for the keys then she remembered the morning incident…..as soon as she realised it…..she took the bus and went back to the college…..she started to look for the keys……she searched it here and there….in the corridor, around the stairs, in the corners but couldn’t find it….. “are you looking for this??”…..she heard a voice…..she turned and it was the boy she barged in…..she saw the keys in his hands and said “Thank god….luckily I got the keys….thank you so much for keeping it with you and giving back to me…” when Aaron heard Grace’s voice…..he felt he heard it before…….he gave back the keys to Grace,…. “by the way….I’m Grace”…..Grace raised her hand towards him for handshake……Aaron was not a normal boy…..he barely spoke to girls and maintained a rude and bad boy type image in front of girls….but as soon as he saw Grace…..he felt something that he never felt for any other girl…..it was special….but he was not able to understand what was happening so he just turned around and walked away…..Grace was surprised to see this kind of a person on her very first day of college…..she was kind of disappointed by this kind of behaviour….and then she ignored it and went back home….

Next day, when Grace met Sarah…..Sarah was always a girl with lots of topics and hence Grace never got bored with her…..Sarah met a guy on a very first day of her college and started crushing over him…..Grace and Sarah were just laughing and suddenly…..all the students were given orders to go back to their respective classes….so when Grace got in her class….she got to see many different faces…..she saw Aaron and wondered “ what is the rude dude doing here!!” as Grace didn’t knew his name…..she named him ‘rude dude’ it was funny ….she took a seat and the professor entered…… “Good morning students! As this is your first year in this college and in your new field of designing…..I wish you all to do your best and take part in most of the competitions…..I’m here to inform you that I have decided the very first assignment for your class….but here’s the twist! It will be a duet assignment, that means you have to pair up with each other….and gain scores which will be included in you reports…..there are 10 topics from which you can choose any one and prepare a design on it….it should be submitted after three weeks….I hope my instructions are clear!!” everyone groaned because it was a duet assignment……everyone started to choose their partner…..Grace didn’t knew whom to choose , she barely knew anyone so she went blank…..Aaron was looking at her….and then…. “have you decided whom to pair with…..come on give me your names and with the one you are pairing with” said the professor….everyone started giving their names and Grace was still looking for someone to pair with….she saw Aaron has not paired with anyone but because the way he behaved the previous day….Grace didn’t wanted to pair with him……suddenly a girl, molly went to professor and said, “sir, I and Aaron are pairing up…..” Aaron was surprised, he stood immediately and said, “Sir, I have already paired with someone!”….. “Who is it?”….the professor asked…..Aaron pointed towards Grace……Grace got stunned…..she got blank and her head was a total mess….that time she didn’t knew what to say….she stood there blankly and the professor thought she agreed….so he paired her with Aaron…..meanwhile…molly was also shocked….she was so jealous and embarrassed because Aaron turned her down in front of the whole class…..this was the moment when she made Grace her love rival…..after the class…..Aaron stood up and left the class…..Grace saw him and followed him in a rush…. “hey…hey!! Wait…hey you rude dude!!”…..shouted Grace……Aaron stopped walking…..he turned around…..and Grace came towards him….. “what was that just now?”….asked Grace…. “what??”…replied Aaron unknowingly…… “why did you gave my name to pair up with you without even asking me!!”…. “well, I gave it randomly……come to library at 4am tomorrow we’ll start with the assignment”……said Aaron and left without letting Grace say anything…..Grace was confused…..

Aaron knew he felt something special for Grace but his heart was not ready yet to accept it….he was confused and didn’t knew what was this feeling…..but he decided to figure it out…..and as for her voice….he realised where he heard it…..and now he was all ready to spend time with Grace…as for Grace….she still remembered that boy from the trip…..he was in all of her imaginations….and because of this she was not interested in any other boys…..she forgot his face but clearly remembered his mesmerizing eyes which was a little similar to Aaron’s…..next day….Grace went to the library…..Aaron was already waiting for her…..she took a seat….she was extremely nervous in front of Aaron and didn’t know why….. “Let’s start…”said Aaron…..they both started searching for ideas and information related to their topics and when they got any they started to make notes…..there was not a single moment where Aaron took his eyes off Grace…he continuously stared her…..he felt peace and comfort by sitting next to her….and looking at her made him relax…..he was not able to understand what was happening with his heart but yes, now he was sure that he loved to spend time with her……on the other hand ….Grace was very nervous …..but she made herself busy so that she don’t have to face awkwardness…..Aaron was aware that she was getting nervous….. “damn!….this girl….why does she look so cute while getting nervous!!”thought Aaron….he stood up and sat next to Grace……Grace was about to faint because of nervousness…..just kidding…..Grace really got awkward and was thinking why he sat beside her……they continued…..after sometime Aaron got tired and so he fell asleep……when Grace finished her work….she was packing her bag and while that…..she looked at Aaron…..for a moment she got lost in him……she stared him……starting from the top of his forehead….to his eyes with beautiful eyelashes…..then lips…..soft and tender…… “he is something…..the previous day he was rude to me and now he is spending time with me for the assignment…..he is like a total normal boy today…..those eyes of him…..reminds me of that boy from the trip….he also had similar eyes…I guess Aaron is not bad….it was just a messy first meet of him and me…..why does he look so calm and handsome while sleeping……..”she was lost in her thoughts while staring at Aaron…..suddenly Aaron woke up…..e saw Grace was lost in her thoughts and was staring at him…..he snapped his fingers……and Grace came back to senses…..it was a real awkward moment for Grace…..they were really close to each other…..this moment made their hearts flutter…… “ I should leave now…its getting late…..see you tomorrow!” said Grace and left in a hurry……she came out in the campus and started to think about the moment she had just now….. “what’s happening to me…..why my heart is racing so fast??” she had no answer….
