"Mother!" a little girl named Kang Hyewon ran to her mother. The said middle aged lady put down a book she was reading and looked at her daughter. "Hello my love." she said smiling at her daughter with pure love and adoration.

"Grandma send me this dress!" the little girl said happily, twirling around to show her mother a new red and black coloured checkered dress with puffy sleeves and

pearls on its neck.

"What a beautiful dress, my love." her mother said.

"What about we bake some cupcakes and cookies as a thank you gift for grandma?" her mother continued.

"Can we!?" Hyewon asked.

"Of course, my love" her mother said as she softly pat her head.

"You're the best! Mom!" said Hyewon while hugging her mother tightly making her chuckle.

"Agatha please do me a favour and prepare a car for me and Hyewon for tomorrow." said her mother to a fellow house maid.

"Yes Mrs.Kang, I will prepare the best and coziest car." Agatha replied politely.

"Now shall we eat dinner, my love?"

After dinner Hyewon went to her room to take a bath. She may be 10 years old but Hyewon was very well mannered and smart despite her young age. She would do her chores neatly and never spoke back to her mother, she would studied really hard to get good grades, even though her parents are divorced, both side of her parents would never forget her and would always love her. But as her parents agreement she stayed with her mother in the states and studied there for around 3 years now, but she would also visited her father who's is Korea every Christmas and stayed there during vacation.

After her bath little Hyewon went to her bed but unfortunately couldn't sleep, as she was too excited for the next day. But with the help of her mother reading her bedtime stories she soon went to deep slumber.

"Are you ready my love?"

"Yes! let's go let's go!!" Hyewon shouted.

"Agatha why don't you join us today?" her mother, Mrs.Kang asked the loyal servant.

"Mrs.Kang, today should be a special day for your family only, as it is almost the Christmas holiday." said Agatha, while putting her head low as she finished.

"Very well then, you're in charge of the house for today."

"Yes, Mrs Kang"

The car ride to Hyewon's grandmother house was around 2-3 hours as it was near a remote area. But despite the long ride, Hyewon was very happy as she will soon meet her grandmother again.

And before they knew it, they had already arrived.

"Grandma!" she called out, waving her hand with all her might.

Her grandmother saw her as soon as her grandchild and daughter arrived.

"Aigoo my babies!" exclaimed the grandmother walking over to the two to hug them.

"I missed you guys!" she said letting go of the hug.

"We missed you a lot too mom." Mrs.Kang said smiling widely at the sight of seeing her mother.

"Well let's head inside."

The time at the grandmother's house was full of excitement, laughter, fun stories and giggles.

But before they knew it, it was already time to go home.

"Maybe you should stay for the night." the grandmother said, worried for the two as it was raining quite heavily and not to mention the heavy storms too.

"I wish we could but Hyewon have school tomorrow and it's already past her bedtime." Mrs.Kang said looking at the wall clock which strikes at 11:40.

"And i need to wake up early for a meeting tomorrow and i won't make it from here if we stay the night." she continued.

"Well..drive home safely okay? call me tomorrow too." the grandmother said sadly even though she didn't want them to leave.

The way home was not as calm, wind blowing on all horizon making lots of leaves falling down. The rain was pouring even harder then before, and as they were in a remote area there were not many street lights which makes it harder for the driver to see. And luck was not on there side as a deer crossed the road suddenly making the driver turn the car quickly on the sideway, making the car fell up and down the hill as it lost it's balance. It rolled and rolled untill it finally reached another roadway.

Hyewon was tightly held in her mother's arm, but it wasn't much protection and there were glass splattering everywhere inside the car. "M-mom..." Hyewon called softly, her head having a ringing sound and her body in full pain. "m-mom..?" she called again even though it was hard to talk...

"Hy-hyeonnie i-it's okay m-mommy's here..people will s-save us...o-okay?" her mother talked, panting and coughing blood.

"I-It's all go-oing to b-be okay-" she spoke again, untill Hyewon world turned black.

"Hey guys!"

"Yah Kang Hyewon! We're almost late because of you!"

"Morning to you too Choi ****Yeonjun****."

"Want some bread?" asked another guy; who looked more like a giant bunny.

"Cheese bread?" hyewon asked, who is now 17 years old.

"Heck yeah" the bunny looking guy named Choi Soobin said tossing her a wrapped cheese bread.

"Guys lets go we're late" a squirrel--a guy named Kang Taehyun said to remind his friends.

"WAIT FOR US!!" screamed one guy from a distance with another guy whose hair is curly making him look really cute.

"Hey Beom, morning Hyueka nice curls" Hyewon said smiling at Huening Kai's hair.

"Perm" he said waving his hair.

"Well let's go!" Taehyun said...again.

And thus the six of them head inside to start their third year of highschool.

"Hi class my name is Seo KangMin and I will be your homeroom teacher." the teacher introduced himself as the students cheered for him.

"Today I want to get to know you guys! But first I want to rearrange your seats a bit" and the crowd goes wild.

"okay okay! class calm down please" Mr.Seo said clapping his hands.

"So I will call you names and please sit down here starting from the front row" he said talking out a paper with all the name of the students in his class.

"First line..Jung Chaewon and Kim HaeEun."

The teacher called the others name and so on.

"Kang Hyewon and Kang Taehyun! Two Kangs sit here" he said pointing at a seat near the window sides. The two glanced at each other before jolting to get the seat next to the window. And no, they are not siblings. Taehyun being faster got the seat happily as Hyewon sulked sitting next to him.

"Choi Yeonjun and Huening Kai please sit in front of those two Kangs" the teacher continued. The two went to their new seats smiling as their friends were right behind them. Except for Beomgyu as he was in a different class/section.

"Choi Soobin and Shim Hyeri. You two sit there next to the Kangs too" the teacher said and the two went to their seats, Soobin being nice and a gentleman that he is, let Shim Hyeri pick the side she wants to sit at. And Shim Hyeri; awkward but also nice as heck pick the side not next to Hyewon just so that Soobim could sit next to his friends.

"Okay! you can have lunch!" the teacher said before one student callled him.

"Excuse me Sir but I don't have a seat yet." she said standing awkwardly.

"Oh sorry! what's your name?"

"Lee Hyejin." the girl quickly answered.

"Mrs.Lee Hyejin please sit there at the back. I hope you feel okay sitting by youself."

"ah-ah thank you sir." she said bowing down befor going to her said seat.

i feel quite okay thank you very much! goodbye my non-existent seatmate.

Hyejin thought as she made her way to the seat , the last row seat right behind the five friends to be exact.

As soon as she sat down the school bell rang indicating that the class is over.

It was now lunch and the group of friends were standing near the wall of the school cafeteria holding their tray of food waiting for one specific bear.

"Choi Beomgyu that fucker where is he?" Yeonjun said furiously.

"Heard their homeroom teacher is Mrs.Song." Taehyun said.

"Oof that explains it." Soobin said feeling half bad for his fellow friend as they all know that Mrs.Song is one of the senior teacher and she loves to talk.

"GUYSS!!" Beomgyu shouted. He waved his left hand and hold his tray of food in his right hand.

"There's the devil!" Hyewon said.

"Sorry not sorry that you guys waited for me. Sorry; for myself because i had to heard Mrs.Song ranting. not sorry because she changed my class and guess what?" Beomgyu paused smiling, eyeing his friends.

"Oh what is it you're killing me just spit it out Beomgyu." Hyewon said in a robotic tone which made Huening chock trying to hold his laughter.

"haha shut up Kang Hyewon. Anyway I was changed in your class! and i made a new friend!" Beomgyu finished jumping in tiny.

"Congratulation! now find us a table" Soobin said eye smiling at Beomgyu.

"fine" said Beomgyu as he looked around the cafeteria searching for a free table. He was about to give up that is until he found his new seatmate.

"wait here guys." he said before jogging to the familiar face.

"Hey Hyejin!"

"Hey...Beomgyu." Hyejin looked at him.

"Do you need help finding your friends?" she asked.

"No..um actually can me and my friends sit here with you guys? Only if it's okay with you and your friend!" he asked her.

Hyejin glanced at Beomgyu's group of friends who were just standing and eating tiny bits of their lunch and looked back at her friend who was sitting next to her to asked if it's okay, to which her friend nodded.

"Yeah sure" Hyejin confirmed to Beomgyu. And as soon as she answered he went back to his friends.

After calling his friends they went to Hyejin's table and sat down.

"Hyejin these are my friends Ch--"

"Choi Yeonjun"

"Kang Hyewon"

"Kang Taehyun"

"Choi Soobin"

"Cutie Huening kai"

They all introduced themselves making Beomgyu roll his eyes thinking why he was still there.

"Hi I'm Shim Hyejin and this is my friend Jo Minhee." Hyejin introduced herself as well as her friend Minhee.

"Wait aren't you the one sitting behind us?" Hyewon asked as she finally recognised her.

"yeah" Hyejin answered shyly as she is not very social and talkative meeting new people.

"How did you guys know each other?" Hyewon asked again.

"Ah we're seatmates!" Beomgyu answered.

"Oh no Choi Beomgyu is sitting behind us?" Taehyun said dramatically.

"excuSE ME?! Wow Kang Taehyun you---"

"yah sit down" Soobin said with his mouth full of rice.

"yah shtop eathing with your mouth fhull" Yeonjun said.

"you're one to talk!" Soobin stap back, and they started bickering.

"they seem fun" Minhee, Hyejin's friend whispered to her, and Hyejin just nodded her head smiling indicating that she agreed to her friend comment.

"But..I'm confuse on how you just made a friend easily." Minhee continued.

"yeah right?" Hyejin simply said making Minhee rolling her eyes.

"I mean it's normal since we're seatmates." Hyejin spoke again.

"Yeah sure what about your seatmate last year? who was it? Hwang Sam? By the end of the year you two almost kill each other." Minhee said

"Minhee!" Hyejin whisper-yelled.

"What? Anyway he seems nice" Minhee said eyeing Beomgyu.

"I guess.." Hyejin said looking at Beomgyu who was drinking water. It may be his side profile but his sharp nose, defined jaw line, his long eyelashes and his beautiful adam's apple which moved as he swallowed the water could make anyone fall flat and die.

No! Lee Hyejin you can't! You can't fall for him! He is just a seatmate, just a friend! you.can.not.fall.for.him! at least...not again

"------ and that's the story of how my first relationship ended." Mr.Kim, the Science teacher said telling the students about his past life.

"Anyway starting from tomorrow we will start our lessons so bring you books. Thank you class"

"Thank you Sir" the class said before going home.

"Hyejin which way are you going?" Beomgyu asked, packing his back.

"Uhh I live near the Soonie Book Store." Hyejin said.

"Wait really?" Beomgyu said.

"Last time I check yeah, why?"

"Do you perhaps live in NOS Building?" he asked again.

"How'd you know?" she said a bit terrified on how he knows where exactly she lived.

"AHH Oh my gOd! I live to the next building!" he exclaimed.

"Really!?"

"Yeah let's go together!" Beomgyu said smiling.

"O-Okay!" Hyejin said trying not to blush.

"Jeez Choi what did I say about smiling like that? See? you're scaring Hyejin!" Hyewon joined their conversation.

"Shut up Kang" Beomgyu replied sticking his tongue out at her to which she gladly smack his head.

"Guys did you know that Hyejin lives next to my building?" Beomgyu told the rest of his friends.

"Yup" they said.

"we overheard you guys sorry"

Side story of Beomgyu and Hyejin's first encounter.

As the class dismissed the students slowly went out of sight. But Hyejin decided that she wanted to not eat lunch and just sleep, but unfortunately Mrs.Song and Mr.Seo came inside the classroom with another boy who was Beomgyu.

As the two teacher came inside Hyejin jolted up making the attention go to her.

"Mrs.Shim Hyejin why aren't you eating lunch?" Mr.Seo asked her.

"I brought lunch and finished it" she lied.

"Oh good then, well this is Choi Beomgyu from class 11B" he said showing her the boy.

"Since his class was full and one of our class students changed school who is suppose to be your seatmate anyway since there is a seat left he is changed here." he told her.

"So it seems you won't be lonely after all!" he said laughing.

"Well Beomgyu that's your seat." Mr.Seo showed Beomgyu even though it was already clear.

"Thank you sir, miss." Beomgyu bowed and went to his seat. Then the teacher left, and so does their voices.

"Uh so no one is sitting here?" Beomgyu spoke first breaking the awkward silence.

"well no one except for my imaginary friend Petunia."

Gosh could I be any more lame

"pfft well seems like Petunia needs to change her seat." Beomgyu played along.

"You have had you lunch righ---" before Beomgyu could finish his question someone's stomach growled loudly making her blush crazy.

"I guess that answered my question." Beomgyu said.

"Ahhahaha..i'll see you later." Hyejin said before storming out.

"Bye!" Beomgyu shouted even though she was already far away.

"I should get going too--- ah shit I forgot my phone at the other classroom." Beomgyu said talking to himself before going back to bring his phone.
