It was the month of spring. I still remeber how I first met her. I was so happy that I got selected in the state championship of football. After father's death football became the most important part in my life.

I was driving when suddenly I crashed someone.

"Ah God! As I thought everything is running smoothly in my life you gave me another problem."

I quickly got out from my car.

"Hey! Are you ok? "

Hairs all disheveled. Slowly she lifted her head towards. As she looked at me , Arthur could not place his eyes from her. Her complexion was light beige with a little mole beside her eyes. rosy plumped lips that was sttutering like little rain drops fall on the ground.She was looking like a meek scared kitten.

"Girl, are you alright? Let me bring you to the hospital"

With a confused look she replied," Ah no no! It's all right. I am really ok. See I can staa..

Before she could complete her sentence and stand upright on her legs ,she fell off.

It was like a double embarrasment attack for her.

Arthur with a smirk on his face pulled her up and princess carried her.

She shouted, "Hey! What the hell are you doing? Pull me down or I am gonna call the police. "

Arthur let out a bigh sigh and said, "See, I am not gonno kidnap you or do any type of nasty things with you. I think you got hurt in your knee and if I am not wrong you can not walk in this state so let me drive you to the hospital. "

"But... "

"Don't think too much. I am going to pay the hospital charges so be relieved. "

With a little hesitation she finally accepted his proposal.

He started driving towards the city hospital.

Meanwhile -

"Hi, my name is Arthur Pattinson. Well in the midst of all these things, I really forgot to ask your name. What is your name?

"... Athena"

"Oh, Athena... Nice name. See, I was so happy that I got selected in the football state championship and this accident occurred. I know I should not blame this on my championship. I am really sorry for this. "

Athena with a smile on her face replied, "Its Ok. But do not bump your car again. Next time the person may not be good and forgiving like me ;) "

He felt a sudden fast heartbeat in his chest as he saw her smile beneath her long night black hair which covered her face as the sweet cold breeze blew by.

After sometime they reach the City Hospital.

Arthur opened the car's door and tried to carry Athena in her arms again.

Athena shouted, " B*stard, what the hell are you doing? "

"I am trying to carry you to the doctor. You can not walk in this state. "

"You don't have to worry so much. If you really care, then bring a wheelchair for me. Hmph. "

"Ok ok as you wish ma'am. "

After few minutes Arthur came with a wheelchair and carried her to the doctor.

"The injury is not that serious. It is just a minor fracture.", said the doctor

Athena with a scared look asked him, " How many days will it take to recover? "

"I have already done the bandages. It will recover within a month but in the meantime do not apply pressure on your legs or you may turn into crippled."

Athena sttutured, "W.. What? C.. Cripple? "

The doctor started laughing. " Do not be afraid little girl, I was just joking."

"I know, I know. Stop laughing "

Arthur mumbled in his mind, "How cute. "

Arthur then paid the fees and started moveing towards his car with her.

"Where do you want to go? Let me drive you to your destination. "

"Then drive me to my house. XXX, is the location of my house. "

Arthur drove her to her house and went straight back to his home.

Arthur hugged his mother from the back and said, " Guess what? ''

With a smile in her face she replied, " What, my son? What is the reason of your happiness today? Did you meet any girl? "

"Umm..sort of . But that is not the real reason. I got selected in the football state's championship. "

As he told this things, his eyes were sparkling like jewels. It was like a small cute puppy asking his owner to praise him.

She kissed him on his forehead and said, "I am so proud of you. Now go to your room and fresh up. I will make your favourite dish today. "

"Ok mom, you are the best. "

At night.

Arthur went to meet his best friend Jack. Jack is his neighbour. Whatever he does, it becomes hilarious as if God mixed nitrous oxide ( laughing gas) while writting his fate.

"What's up, Jack ? "

"Nothing much. I heard that you got selected in the state's championship. Congrats man. "

"Thanks. So today's treat will be from my side. "

Arthur then with a little smile on his face said, "I met a girl today. "

"What is her name? "

"Her name is Athena. She is like a cute little bunny always on defence mode. "

"So where did you meet her? "

Arthur with a guilty smile replied, "I fractured her leg when I was driving. "

"Wow , Arthur. You are really something! "

"Yah ,yah, I know. Now stop your bulls**t and tell me how is your relationship going with Lisa? "

Jack moved his eyes from him and tried to change the topic but due to Arthur's continuous nagging he finally spoke.

"I broke up. "

"What? But why? Did not you tell everyone that it is your true love, once in a life time love. So what happened so suddenly? Tell me quickly. "

Jack took a deep breath and said, " Lisa is actually a boy! "

Silence overgrew in the atmosphere.

Arthur was awestruck. This news was like a bolt from the blue to him. He took a sip of the beer which was present on the table and asked him, "Are you sure Lisa is a boy? I saw her pictures before. Her looks are quite feminine. "

They teased each other for quite sometime and then retired back to their respective homes. Jack was always there to support him since his childhood. So they are quite close to each other.

Meanwhile at Athena's residence Athena's parents made a quite big fit due to her fractured leg.

Later that night -

"Huh that jerk! Due to him I had to suffer from all these naggings from mom and dad. ", Athena mumbeled. She took her diary from the drawer beside the bed and started writing about her day. "To think about, that jerk was quite handsome. Sharp chiseled bones, deep eyes with blue iris that resembeles frozen lake and soft chisel cut hair..." Unconsciously while mumbling in her mind she drew his picture in her diary . From outside, she may potray that she does not care about trival things like Arthur but inside it was something else.

Athena is the only daughter of her parents. Her father is the chairman of the famous company named, "Rubela" . Being the only child she was very much pampered by her parents. From her childhood she was never deprived of any goods .

Next day~

"Athena, my sweetheart. Quickly wake up or you will be late to your college."

"Ah, mom I am waking up. Now go, I will take a shower now. "

After showering ,she quickly packed her bag. After a hasty breakfast she rushed to the bus station. Inspite from being a wealthy family she dress like a modest citizen and use public transport system. She does not want any one to know of her status so that everyone can treat her equally like any other girl.

"Hey Athy, come here I have a sizzling hot gossip for you ", said Jessica as she grabbed Athena's hand.

" What! Tell me quickly. "

"Remember that boy named , Jackson? "

"That arrogant jerk? Who can forget such a nasty human being. That day he accidentally splashed water on me and did not even apologise! "

"You know what. Our history teacher, Georgia is in a relationship with him."

Athena choked her breath after hearing this. She then said, "Isn't there a fifteen years age gap? Is she a pedophile? "

"Maybe! ", said Jessica mockingly. " Well, leave this topic. There will be a football match at evening. You have to come with me. Peter will be there. After winning the match he always takes off his shirt and pat his sweat. I can not wait to see his well defined abs. "

Athena with a smirk replied, "My, Jess is becoming a pervy Jess." She then shouted in a playful manner, "Hey boys beware of your chastity, our fiery Jess is coming! "

Jessica quickly covered her mouth and whispered in her ear, "Shut up and move quickly or else you will be again late to the english class. Remember last time he gave you a journal on the daily life of a street cat as a punishment? "

"Yes, yes . How can I forget that iconic punishment. I had to ovserve the stray cats so much that even in my dreams I could hear their meows. "

Both of them laughed and moved towards the class without knowing what blunder was waiting for them that evening.
