MY VOICE DESCRIPTION

A boy, named Ryoto wakes up on a cold morning, he thinks to

himself

During that winter while attending 10th grade, I

suddenly fell ill after obtaining high school enrollment eligibility, stayed in

bed for a week due to high fevers….. once awaken, I was no longer able to hear

sounds from clocks nor car engines. That early morning was especially quiet. Now

I still remembered that lonely, unusual feeling’, He thought all this while

gazing at the window……Until I hear that warm and smoothing sound from place that

radiate sunshine ……….

NOTE FROM AUTHOR

As you can see he’s deaf and can’t hear that well . . . but

is able to hear only 1 and only 1 person in the world. . .

CH-1

A day full of busy streets, people walking here and there, A

boy walking in a rush to school along with his friend stops as he see’s the bulletin

board . . which has a poster saying “NEEDED NOTETAKER”

 #Ryoto put the poster

up cause he cant hear what the professor teaches them

BOY: eh!

BOY: hourly rate of 1500 yuan per hour

FRIEND: that’s not bad Kuro

KURO: well for a tutor that pricing is quiet normal, right Mizuki.

MIZUKI: actually its quite low, for the offered position.

MIZUKI: oh yeah! Kuro someone like you wanting to be a tutor?

Kuro walks back from the bulletin board

KURO: if this is not going to work. . . . . then I’ll be in

trouble.

KURO: starting from today, I won’t be able to afford even a

meal

MIZUKI: what about your work place?

MIZUKI: I thought the meals were included in the restaurant

KURO: I have my own issue’s that I’am unable to express *loud*

MIZUKI: stop being so loud

Ryoto also is walking to school as he looks at Kuro talking about

his problems.

KURO: Lets see can you treat mem to a meal puts his arm

around Mizuki’s shoulder

MIZUKI: lets decide with rock, paper and scissors . . .

RYOTO: *stares at them*

RYOTO: * continues to walk*

Inside the campus … near the vending machine.. there were

chairs for students to study, have lunch etc. etc.

KURO: really that’s the first time I,ve heard that people

got laid of for their loud voices

MIZUKI: *gets juice from the vending machine*

MIZUKI: Is your voice really that loud

KURO: Just a few moments back you kept saying I was loud

EVERYONE: *turn to stare*

MIZUKI: it is indeed loud

MIZUKI: *turns to the other people there* sorry sorry

MIZUKI: *sits down* I do not mind cause iam used to it

KURO: Manager originally praised my voice for being so

energetic, but he still decided to let me go

MIZUKI: let’s see, could it be that you were impolite to the

unruly customers.

KURO: *bends down / avoids eye contact*

MIZUKI: yup  . . . you

sure did  . . .that’s why they let you go…

you should just leave it … its all because of your useless sense of justice

KURO: it wasn’t like that

MIZUKI: *drinks juice*

KURO: ah . . iam getting hungry

MIZUKI: me too , iam gonna head to the cafeteria

KURO: are you just gonna go there yourself and leave me with

my hungry stomach?

MIZUKI: then why don’t you come too.

KURO: I said I don’t have money right

MIZUKI: ok well bye then *stands up and walks away*

KURO: *turns and see’s him leave* you heartless idiot

KURO: *gets up*

KURO: *murmurs* what can I eat with these few coins

KURO: *walks out from the room outside*

KURO: iam so hungry

KURO : (Originally planning to work after graduating high

school )

KURO: ( but teacher suggested I enrolled at this university

and see how I’ve become )

KURO: * holds his growling stomach and walks towards the

fence*

KURO: I’am so freaking hungry I cant handle this anymore

KURO: * grabs and sits on the fence*

KURO: * stares at the sky* so freaking hungry

KURO: oh oh *falls backwards*

KURO: oh!!!! That hurts

KURO: *see’s a boy sitting on the tree eating*

KURO: *turns* sorry if I scared you

KURO: (why is that person sitting there for?)

KURO: oh!!! Looks delicious !!!

KURO: * gets up from the ground and runs towards the boy*

KURO: *stares at the boy and his food #mainly the food)

BOY: *gives the bento to Kuro*

KURO: *stares* What. . . I can I can eat it?

KURO: for reals  . . .

your such a nice person * takes the bento from the boy*

KURO: *sits next to him*

KURO: people who are generous enough to offer food are

generous individuals

KURO: iam going to start eating

BOY: *stares at Kuro*

KURO: so delicious

BOY: *gets up about to leave*

KURO: *turns* wait . . . this

KURO: what’s going on

KURO: *continues eating

THE NEXT DAY. . . AT THE SAME PLACE

KURO: *falls backwards from the fence #2nd time*BOY: *looking at his phone turns when he saw Kuro fall*

KURO: hurt so bad

KURO: *turns to the boy*

KURO: how are you

KURO: thinking about being able to see you around here

BOY: *turns around*

KURO: you sure are here *sits up*

KURO: oh yeah! *walks towards him*

KURO: *searching for something in his bag*

KURO: this . . . * holds the lunch box to the boy* I wanted

to give this back

BOY: *takes it from Kuro*

KURO: I did clean it well

BOY: *keeps it in his bag*

KURO: the bento was really delicious

BOY: *stares*

KURO: that day I almost dies of hunger thank goodness you

were there to save me

BOY: *doesn’t reply looks down*

KURO: Oh yes! I heard that you have less than a stellar

reputation but, people who are not kind will not offer me foods right?

BOY: *looks at Kuro*

KURO: *searches for something from his bag again*

KURO: consider this as my token of appreciation

KURO: this *holds out a poster * can you let me take class

notes for you. . ???

KURO: This is the way to show my appreciation for the bento

you offered

BOY: (why? how can I hear him so clearly?)

KURO: *puts the poster back in his bag*

KURO: Oh yeah, forgot that you are unable to hear let me

write it down for you…

BOY: If you say it slowly, iam able to hear

KURO: *stares*

KURO: what!!!? You can actually speak …I thought you

couldn’t make any sounds at all

KURO: *closes his bags zip* that’s wonderful

KURO: I was thinking about how to communicate with you

BOY: *stares*

KURO: *bends down a bit to face the boy* you can hear my

voice right

BOY: well . . . can you tell me your name first

KURO: *smiles* KURO\, KURO XIN

BOTH STARE AT EACH OTHER

Birds chirping

THE NEXT DAY . . . IN THE MORING AT SCHOOL IN THE CLASSROOM

…..

MIZUKI: running with books to get a seat

MIZUKI: *sits behind Kuro*

MIZUKI: *shocked*

MIZUKI: Kuro, you actually came to class?! Still haven’t

found part time jobs yet

KURO: iam working right now

MIZUKI: *confused* Working. Working as in

KURO: *turns to Mizuki* note taker

MIZUKI: you are not doing this for Ryu, right #Ryu is

Ryoto’s surname

MIZUKI: *points at Ryoto or the boy who gave Kuro the bento*

KURO: yes iam doing it for him

KURO: I just want to do this temporarily

KURO: but he wanted me to work on a long time basis

KURO: the compensation is a set of bento in exchange for

class notes

MIZUKI: shhh don’t scream

KURO: *ignores* where can I find a dream job like this luck

has finally arrived on my side

MIZUKI: are you able to do this

KURO: just jotting down notes ….. no biggie

PROFESSOR: the concept of visionary is raised initially by

IN LUNCH BREAK . . . THEY ARE SITTING IN THE PLACE WHERE

KURO: *eating bento*

RYOTO: *checking what Kuro wrote*

KURO: delicious

RYOTO: Xin #using Kuro’s surname

KURO: *stops eating looks at Ryoto*

RYOTO: hmm, you forgot to write some stuff here

KURO: that part. . . .  sorry I fell asleep accidentally

KURO: I won’t fall asleep next time moves the bento away

from Ryoto

KURO: sorry, I swear

RYOTO: *slightly smiles*

KURO: *didn’t notice was eating*

RYOTO: *slightly smiles seeing Kuro gobble the food*

KURO: *finshes eating the bento*

KURO: it is difficult to write down everything that the

professor mentioned in class

RYOTO: normally we need someone who had underwent training

or have two individuals complement each other in a group.

RYOTO: but I’am able to hear only half of the lecture

contents

RYOTO: all you  have

to do is write down the important points

RYOTO: *stops speaking and stares somewhere*

KURO: what happened

KURO: *turns to where Ryoto was staring*

A few girls from college were talking in sign language

KURO: do you know these people ?

RYOTO: they are from the sign language club at junior year

RYOTO: being invited to join the club by them

KURO: ah, that’s why they are using sign language

KURO: i haven’t seen people who use sign language before

RYOTO: me either

KURO: stares at Ryoto in shock

RYOTO: even with hearing impairment, different levels of

hearing impairment ranged individually

RYOTO: plenty of people do not posses the knowledge of sign

language

RYOTO: assuming we always know sign language is rather

annoying. #people with hearing impairment……

RYOTO: I really don’t need that *stares at the girls*

RYOTO: that is not bad at all . . . useful indeed

RYOTO: I specialize in language expressed through the lips

KURO: isn’t that more difficult?

RYOTO: not really

RYOTO: everyone is capable to learn them with proper

training

RYOTO: even though you don’t need it

KURO: why?
