Past midnight Deep within a forest.

A group of delinquent teenagers, 2 girls and 3 boys were headed deep inside the forest.

A boy with a muscular physique were leading them,on his left hand was something like a stone tablet with unrecognizable words,it was the size of a notebook.

He was also holding a flashlight on his right hand lighting the way.

"I-I thi-think we really shouldn't do this"one of the girls said trembling in fear hiding behind another boy,looking left and right.

The boy patted the girls hand which were on his shoulders and said "no need to worry,we don't even know if something's gonna happen or not so just relax"

"Yeah,his right also I doubt that something's gonna happen anyway"another girl said.

"Yeah,I mean ghost and demons?whose gonna believe that?that old man must be crazy"The other boy said mockingly.

The group of people chuckled except the girl who was trembling in fear and the boy who was leading them.

The girl noticed that the boy leading them had been oddly quiet so she asked.

"he-hey Daniel you've been oddly quiet,is something on your mind??".

The boy called Daniel suddenly stopped walking so did the group

The three people also noticed this but they only kept quiet and didn't say anything

But when they heard the girl ask about it they immediately looked at Daniel

They had this weird look on their faces,Daniel was an arrogant and a cocky type of guy who wouldn't shut up and keep bragging.

So it was pretty weird to see him suddenly being quiet even after he was called,it was so weird that it was creeping them out.

But the boy called Daniel was facing forward so they couldn't exactly see his face.

One of the guys walked toward Daniel and arrived beside him.

He looked at Daniels face,his eyes seemed to have lost its color the boy waved his hands infront of Daniel

"Hey,you alright??"he asked,a little confused and creeped out.

Suddenly Daniels eyes widened and its color came back.

"uh-uh what?...huh?yeah I'm alright"Daniel said.

The boy looked at Daniel with a weird expression.

The boy stepped back,the 3 people looked at the him with a questioning look.

The boy shrugged his shoulders and shook his head helplessly,the 3 people looked at each other with a weirded expression.

Daniel turned his head a little and looked at the group and said"well then,shall we continue"he started walking but this time the group didn't follow and just stood there looking at Daniels back as he was walking.

Daniel noticed it and turned his body around completely and looked at the group.

"hey everyone don't tell me all of you are chickening out?"Daniel said.

"no- its just,you've been acting a bit weird"

"yeah,you haven't talk ever since we got that tablet"the other boy said.

he looked at the tablet that was on Daniels hands.

beside this two that just spoke the other two wasn't able to look Daniel in the eye.

especially the girl who was trembling in fear earlier,she felt something had changed to Daniel.

"ohh,I was just thinking about something earlier,so it seemed like I was in a daze,you guys don't need to worry about it"Daniel said.

Still even with Daniel reassuring them they still couldn't shake this creepy feeling.

The group of people sighed helplessly and continued walking Daniel still leading the group.

it was pointless thinking about it hearing Daniel saying he was alright was enough for them to be able to relax.

Plus it was just probably their imagination that made them think that way.

Cause no matter how you see it Daniel looked like he had returned to normal and back to his usual self.

after some walking the girl who was trembling in fear earlier said something.

"u-uh why-why are we still going deeper inside the forest?"

"yeah it's not like some monster or demons would actually appear right??for all we know we're just wasting time"the boy said.

The two people nodded,Daniel turned his head again and said"just trust me,I'm sure it's gonna be worth our time"

The group followed him for like 2 minutes.

"This should be good enough"Daniel said.

"what do you mean good enough?"the girl asked.

"ohh its nothing"Daniel replied.

The girl looked at Daniel and rolled her eyes,she knew Daniel was hiding something but didn't ask any further.

Daniel put the tablet on the ground and bit his left thumb strong enought that it made him bleed.

The group was immediately shocked as to what Daniel was doing.

Daniel let his blood drip to the tablet.

"hey,hey what are you doing?"the boy asked he was about to go straight to Daniel.

When Daniel raised his right arm signaling to the boy not to step any further.

"You....!!!"the boy shouted in fury

"Just trust me"Daniel said.

All of them suddenly thought of the same thing and that was Daniel is acting weird once again.

But they had no choice but to trust Daniel,after all the years they have been friends,and the amount of trust they have for each other's Daniel was the most trustworthy of them all,even though he was the mischievous one

They looked at Daniel and saw this face which Daniel would make if he had already decided something.

Knowing each other since kids they know exactly what this face means.

Once Daniel make's this kind of face they can't do anything to change his mind and stop him from doing what he wants.

Without using violence of course.

suddenly something shocking happened,the unrecognizable words that were written on the stone tablet.

emanated a scarlet red light making the people shock and horrified at the same time.

"wh-what the-!!"

"ughhh,what's hap-"

"ughhh!!"

"wha-!!"

The scarlet red light grew intense by the second ,the four had no choice but to cover their eyes to block the light with their hands.

The scarlet red light lasted for 2 minutes before disappearing out of thin air.

The four slowly took their hands off their eyes and looked around.

All of them had the same confused and dumbfounded expression.

"i-is it over??"

"wh-what happened??"

"ugghhh"

all of them had confused look,when suddenly a horrified scream shook them to the bone.

"kyaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!!!"

They immediately looked at where the scream came from.

The scream came from a girl who was a part of their group,her body was shaking tremendously.

She had this terrified look on her face and a very pale complexion,she was pointing at somewhere.

all of them immediately looked as to where she was pointing,there they saw Daniel on the ground.

all of them immediately ran toward Daniel with worried expression including the girl who screamed.

one of the girls checked his pulse and sighed in relief "he's okay just unconscious".

a sigh of relief came out of everyone's mouth.

"hey don't scare us like that!!!"one of the boys shouted glaring at the girl who just screamed earlier.

the girls body flinched "i-its just I-i..."her voice was so weak the boy didn't hear making him even more furious

Suddenly someone grasped his shoulder,he looked behind him to see another boy who was a part of their group.

"now,now you know how she is she's always like that since we were been kids"he said.

the boy scratched his hair in fury trying to calm himself down.

"i-is it just me or did it suddenly got colder here?"the girl who checked Daniels pulse said shivering slightly.

"is it not just because you didn't wear a thick enough cloak?"

"no,it's just it feels way creepier it feels like someones watching us"

"ohhh,come on you don't actually believe what that old man said about ghost and demons right??"

"Then how do you explain the red light earlier,huh?"

"maybe it could've just been a sick prank"

"you really think and old man would play a sick prank on us?"

suddenly someone got on the middle on they're argument "now,now stop fighting,how about we just leave the forest for now and talk about it later"

all of them nodded at the same time.

"what about Daniel??"

"he's still unconscious"the girl said with a grim face.

the boy sighed and said"I guess I have no choice,I'll carry him myself".

the boy carried Daniel in a princess Carry style making the others laugh.

"look at the two they look like a couple,hahahah"

The boy rolled his eyes in annoyance ignoring the others laughter.

they turned their back and started walking toward the way from where they came from.

just as they were about to leave they're initial location,one of the boys turned his head around subconsciously.

and saw something unbelievable that made his face pale as a ghost.

"uhhh-uh gu-guys i-i think you all need to see this"he said voice slightly trembling.

the group turned they're heads and had the same reactions as the boy had.

what they saw was like a black-red vortex that seemed like a portal,it had this eerie and deathly atmosphere sorrounding it.

"wha-!!"

"wha-what is that?"

They all felt chills run down their spines.

"whatever it is i suspect that its not good"

"we have to run,now!!!!"

a gust of Cold wind that seemed to have came out of nowhere made the tree leaves flutter.

Just as they were about to turn their heads and run away.

something came out of the black-red vortex,a shadow of something like an adult male with a muscular body.

"wha-what? is that a human?"

however unlike what the group thought,it wasn't a human it was something else,something scarier.

The full moon illuminated the shadow,showing a buff human like monster with black-red skin and pointy ears.

It had a bald head with an ugly face,eyes red as blood,deadly fangs that was protruding from it's mouth and sharp claws that looked like it could cut even metal.

all of them gasped in shock and in fear

"wh-what is that?"

"i-is that a mo-monster?"

all of them were intimidated by the monsters appearance that they were having hard time breathing.

They felt like their legs would give out at moments notice.

The monster opened it's mouth and breathed in,it spread it's arms wide like embracing nature

"haaa,how it feels good to breath fresh air"

Words came out of the monsters mouth making the group shock and at the same time horrified.

"i-it talked?"

"it doesn't matter if it talked or not what we need to do now is to run".

"hoo,hoo I don't think so humans"The monster growled.

The people immediately run,but the boy who was carrying Daniel was lagging behind.

The boy turned his head around a little,his face immediately became grim.

The monster who was behind the group was running after them,it had huge grin on its face that almost reached up to it's pointy ears.

"The hunt for human flesh and blood is amusing as ever"

The boy persistently ran even though he was out of breath.

he had the urge to drop Daniel to the ground and ran for himself.

but he just couldn't he was the most closest to Daniel since they were kids.

He couldn't just abandon his best friend like that.

"you humans sure are boring,I guess it time to stop playing around"

the monster gathered his strength at his right feet and shot straight toward the boy who was carrying Daniel creating a small crater behind

Fore some reason the boy felt chills ran down his spine,he was about to turn his head when the monster slashed it's sharp claws at his back.

The boy felt immense pain that was unbearable,he fell down the ground along with Daniel who he was carrying

his coat was covered in blood,he looked at the group who was running away with a terrified look.

he stretched his arm asking for help,despite that fact that he was out of strength and could barely move.

"h-hey h-help me pl-please,d-dont leave me behind"tears started streaming from his eyes,blood dripping from his mouth.

A boy suddenly stopped running and looked behind hearing the call for help,however he didn't come to his rescue and only looked at him with a pitiful gaze.

he gritted his teeth and clenched his hands trying to fight of the urge to go and help him.

"pl-please i-i don't want to di-die,he-"

The boy couldn't even finish his sentence when the monster crushed his head with its barefoot.

The other boy looked horrified,he felt like vomiting at the spot however he held it in and started running away.

'sorry'

"ughhh,he-hey do not turn around and keep running."the boy shouted at the girls infront of him.

But just as he said that the two girl turned her head to see what was happening.

they're faces became the same as the boy had one of the girls fell down the ground sitting,whole body shaking.

They saw the boy who was carrying Daniel on the ground full of blood The foot of the monster that was covered in blood was where the boys head was supposed to be.

The monster's huge grin still didn't disappear,in facts it grew wider.

it loved the sight of the humans horrified faces and the fact that they're trembling in fear before him.

"ahhhhhhhh"

"kyaaaaa"

Horrified scream came out of the two girls mouths.

The other girl's legs were shaking however she was still able to stand up,she was covering her mouth with her hands trying to resist the urge to puke.

The girl on the ground turned her head to the side and puked at the spot.
