"Andre! Get down right now, the bus is here!", Ryan's older sister, Rianna, shouted at the top of her lungs with her hands rooted on her waist, irritated.

"She's always so impatient.", Andre muttered, rolling his eyes. Without looking, he just bluntly stuffed the last books left on his bedroom desk in his bag.

"Andre, hurry up! Mr Jermery is waiting! It's not good to let people wait!", Rianna demanded, at her very last string.

" okay okay!! I'm coming down! ", Andre replied as he drashed down the stairs. He ran towards the dining table, taking the biggest bite he could before slipping into his plain basic worn out shoes he'd been wearing for the past few years. He dashed towards the front door, opening it wide before turning around and saying goodbye to his mother.

It was the first day of school for Andre Hudson, a junior student which makes him sixteen this year. He previously topped his cohort last year with straight As consistantly throughout the year. He also have wonderful childhood friends around him, Janice, Alexandera, Issac and lastly Ryan.

Andre quickly made his way into the bus without realising his terrible bedhair. The streets were busy as always with the roads packed since everyone rushed before getting into traffic. The smell of the fresh grass and the sun shone brightly as ever, made Andre feel like today was going to be his best yet.

"Good Morn' Mr Hudson always on time I see" The bus driver, Jermery, chuckled with a sarcastic smirk on his face.

"Good morning to you to Jermery! Also, I do remind you that I did come early right on the dot." Andre replied smirking back as he lifted his wrist to show the time on his watch.

"Of course, you did" Mr Jermery said, accepting it. He smiled, nodding thinking how Andre is such a playful boy.

As Andre entered the bus, one of his friends, Ryan, waved to him to sit there. Hus face lit up after not seeing his bestfriend for a month due to holidays. Andre happily greeted Ryan with a wave and a smile.

"Hey! Do you read on the internet about the curse last year from that new teacher Ms Anisa's Class?" Ryan seemed so eager to ask as his whole spirit lifted up.

"Not this again, these are all fake rumors." Andre replied, with this annoyed look on his face.

"Trust me on this one, everyone else thought it was crazy too but one of my senior's classmate actually got reported missing!" Ryan replied, making sure he persuaded Andre to think otherwise.

" Pft, yeah right." Andre laughed it off before slouching back in his sit and plugged his airpods into his ears planning on ignoring Ryan's ridiculous sayings.

" alright, it might not be as believable right now but trust me! Later we can even ask the rest."

After a good 15 minutes of trying to change Andre's mind about the curse being real, still wasn't able to, they have finally reached the school. Ryan and Andre continued the conversation from the bus till they bumped into the rest of the friend group.

There they was, Issac, Alexandra and lastly, Janice. They were waiting at their usual spot at school for Andre and Ryan to arrive.

"Well look at who decided to come using the later bus " Janice said.

There were two buses students could take to school, the one at 7.30 am or the 8 am one. Ryan and Andre took the later one.

"Let's be honest people would rather want to sleep than take the bus at 7.30 am. Who in their right mind would want to go to school so early? " Andre replied.

"At least Issac isn't like you guys, he actually wants to hang out with us. " Janice bragged before pulling Issac nearer to her and placing her arm on his shoulder. Issac gave a flustered look on his face as he glanced at Andre before tilting his head away from his direction. He felt slightly embarrassed from Janice's words.

" Hey Zac, you alright? Your ears are always so red like a tomato. " Ryan asked.

"uh I do? oh..it's nothing haha.." Issac responed, with his hand scratching at the back of his head from the embarrassment.

Normally, Issac is always quite quiet and a person whom will just stick with people he's extremely close to instead of casual friends.

"Issac is probably just annoyed about you both, so much that he got flustered!, Jaince teased.

"ah! n-no no!", Issac nervously replied, trying to refuse Janice's assumption.

He looks so cute trying to deny..

Andre let out a slight laugh and took one of his hands from his pockets and placed it on Issac's face before moving it to his head, patting it. "It's okay, Andre. We know you aren't like that.." Andre said, reassuring Issac. Before realising what he had done, the damage was done already, Issac's situation just got worser as his face turned the reddest of red and he had an expressionless look like he just froze.

Andre found it amusing about Issac's clear expressions and smiled before removing his hand from his head. Issac swiftly turned his head away and his eyes glued to the ground.

Why is it getting so hot..? (Issac's POV)

Issac started panicking and asking himself a million questions to why Andre did such a bizarre move. "You guys have heard about the curse last year right? The one about the missing students in the new teacher's, Ms Anisa, class?" Ryan asked, breaking the tension.

"Yeah who hasn't? I mean, it was such a huge rumor!" Alexandra replied.

"..but who believes it?" (Ryan)

"It's kinda obviously fake, the students probably just hanged out at parties or ran away from home"

"bro, there were 7 missing students"(Ryan)

"NO WAY!! Isn't it today, we're getting the classes we are going to take this year? What if we get into Ms Anisa's class?!" Janice added.

"Oh yeah !! I totally forgot !! Let's get class slip at the front desk. Let's just cross our fingers for goodluck." Alexander suggested

They all walked together in a group to the front desk for their slips. Some excited, some nervous however all hopeful. On the way there, Andre whispered " Hey Issac, are you okay? "

"Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for the concern." Issac grinned. Issac hurried along with the rest leaving Andre at the back. Andre found it awfully adorable how Issac waddled back. "I think I might need to go to the doctor, something's wrong with my heart. It's beating so fast.", Andre mumbled

They finally reached at the front desk and each have asked for their class selection slips.

"no way.." Issac said in disbelief.

"Oh my cheese cakes! Janice shrieked, her hands over her mouth as her jaw dropped.

"WE GOT INTO THE SAME CLASSES!" Ryan cheered with his fists clenched up in the air.

"No you fool, we're getting into Ms Anisa's class and the rest of our subject classes aren't all the same as well!!" Alexander sneered, slapping Ryan at the back of his neck.

"ah I got English at Ms Dee's class though.." Issac said. Issac's whole atmosphere turned blue with his face drooling down with sadness.

"Aw man, the rest of us got English at Mr Derek's class." Ryan added.

"oh wait a second, I got English at Ms Dee's class aswell !!

I'm forward for us to be sitting buddies in class." Andre said with his face lit up with excitement, looking directly into Issac's face.

The rest of the group continued exchanging classes with each other, praying their classes would clash with each others.

*BELL RINGS*

"Hey guys, Imma head to the toilet first. You guys can head to class first." Issac informed them before leaving.

Issac turned around and ran as fast as he could with all his might like The Flash from when he had to run to break the time continuum to time travel. This was probably the fastest he had ran since the last sports day competition.

"I guess he was really urgent.." Ryan said, confused.

No way no way no way, I'm going to be the only one with Andre in the same class!! Ahh this isn't the first time this has happened but I can't help but freak out after all he is my------ (secret)!!( Issac's POV)

Issac's ears turned so red and placed his hand above his heart and his heart was beating so fast, he thought it could jump out of his chest any moment. All he could hear was the heartbeats of his own heart. As he ran, he gripped on to his shirt above his heart hoping it'd stop beating so fast. He felt the wind blowing onto his face then suddenly someone grabbed his hand, stopping him...

Issac turned around to find out it was Andre who had stopped him! However, Andre's face looked so pale and his cheeks burning red as he was grasping for air and sweat dripping down his face.

"oh my gosh, hey! Are you okay? Why did you run after me? Wait let me get you some water first.", Issac frantically asked. Issac quickly ran to a nearby vending machine to buy a bottled water and handed Andre the bottles water. After chugging down the water, Andre told Issac he actually noticed Issac's flushed appearance and saw that he had lied about going to the restroom because he walked pass it without hesitation and went running away. Andre was worried about Issac and wanted to check on him. "Oh!! uh..I was just getting some uh..oh yeah! exercise! I was getting some exercise!" Issac replied with a lie he tried making up. Please believe it, please believe it, please believe it (In Issac's thoughts)

"I see...well then I probably just got worried over nothing" Andre chuckled. Andre wiping the sweat of his face as he lifted his shirt to wipe it off. Issac could clearly see the slight sight of Andre's abs which caused his heart to flutter and looked away.

"Nono! I appreciate you worrying for me! " Issac said, reassuring him.

"I guess I'll see you in class! Don't keep us waiting for too long! " Andre said as he walked away back to class. I can't believe I just ran after him for something so little like that. (In Andre's thoughts)

"I won't!", Issac replied. After that Issac gave out a huge sigh of relief that Andre actually fell for his lie. I should really be careful next time, I can't risk him knowing.( In Issac's thoughts)

Issac walked around the school a few times to calm himself down then shortly returned to class..

"Hey! Over here!", Andre yelled, without noticing how his whole expression seemed brighter after seeing Isaac here.

Issac noticed him almost immediately, then hurriedly turned his head away from his direction avoiding eye contact. He made his way to sit right behind Janice next to Ryan with Alexander sitting right infront of Janice and Andre right next to Janice. Issac lifted his head up to see Andre's face looking like a child who had just got their candy taken away.

He avoided me..ah, I was probably super werid earlier.. I mean like " I was worried?" who even says that? I'm an idoit, why did I even chase after him? (Andre's thoughts) His left hand placed on his cheeks, slouching back.

After that a little introduction of the teacher, Ms Anisa came along.

"Good Morning students! I appreciate the punctuation attendance. I'm Ms Anisa but feel free to call me Ms An if my name isn't easy to pronounce for you. Okay! So now, let's start an icebreaker! Tell me anything about you to familiarize with your classmates. Right after that, you guys can ask me whatever questions you'd like.", Ms Anisa said.

One by one, each student took turns introducing themselves.

"Hello! I'm Janice. For my freetime, I enjoy watching dramas of any language and my club is the Arts.", Janice enthusiastically said.

"I'm Ryan. I personally love horror films and the thrill of it. I actually wear glasses but I prefer not to." Ryan chuckled.

"Hii! I'm Alexandera but call me Alex for short. My hobby is actually cooking and I can speak Korean."

"Hey, I'm Andre. I'm actually planning on studying law for college. "

"Okay! Everyone has introduced themselves execpt for Issac. Can you please introduce yourself?" Miss Anisa said.

"oh um...hi I'm Issac...I like reading mangas as a hobby and that's all.." Issac softly said.

"Sorry dear, I didn't catch that" Ms Anisa replied.

"Oh um.." Issac started stuttering and his hands just start shaking nervously. He had always been a shy kid since forever.

He looks so nervous right now and his hand..it's shaking. I need to help him! Okay, I'll just need to talk for him..3..2..1..okay, now! (Andre's POV)

Before Issac could even say the words out of his mouth, Andre stood up from his chair and glanced at Issac with a comforting smile "He said his name is Issac and liked reading mangas."

"oh alright I see I see, thank you Andre for helping Issac out."

"Alright, shall we start asking me some questions?"

wait why did he do that? ah right...maybe he's just trying to be nice.. anyways whatever the reason is I have to thank him (In Issac's POV)

Ryan raised his hand and asked "What happened to the 7 missing children last year?" Ms Anisa gave a little giggle and replied "Oh! That little rumor, that's not true actually ... those students were transferred to school abroad for a few months for the TryOn program where students can go abroad for temporary schooling." The whole class just amazed by what Ms Anisa had told them. After awhile from asking questions, Ms Anisa appointed partner buddies to takecare of one another just in case the other fell sick or misses a day of school so the buddy can pass them their own notes to copy.

"I'll assign your partners at the end of the day and the new sitting plan."

After Ms Anisa have wrapped up the lesson, everyone was free to go for their next class which is English.

"I guess I'll see you both after English! Have fun!" Alexandera said.

"Thanks, see you later, Alex." Issac replied.

Alexandera, Janice and Ryan quickly head for their next class together, leaving Issac and Andre.

"Let's head to our class! I think they said it was near the chemistry lab." Andre said, he took Issac's hand and start walking to class.

"We have to hurry up to get some sits together." Andre added.

When Andre took Issac's hand, it had felt so soft like a girl and warm at the same time. Andre looked at Issac's face and it turned red again.

What is he doing, grabbing my hand like that! Are my hands sweating? I hope not..( Issac's POV)

Just before Andre started heading to English class, he let Issac's hand go. But Issac tugged on Andre's hoodie sleeve, stopping him. Andre turned around noticing Issac looked as if he had an urge to tell him something. Andre figured, he was probably gonna thank him for what he did during class. haha he looks like a cute little rabbit with a face like that.(in Andre's thoughts) Andre gave a chuckle and patted Issac's head saying, " it's no worries, anyone would do any to help a childhood friend out."

He's patting my head?!? Is he playing with me?! I hope he doesn't realise me smiling so hard (in Issac's POV)

Issac's whole face just turned red subconsciously and smiled " still...thank you" Issac replied.

Why does my heart keep beating so fast? I should really go for a check-up tomorrow...(in Andre's POV)

"it's all good, no worries!" Andre said.

Issac and Andre head inside their next class together.

When they reached there they had to separately since there wasn't any sits they could sit together with.

"Hey! I'm Izumi! What's your name?" A girl said out of nowhere.

"uh..you're talking to me?" Issac asked, ensure if she was talking to him as he pointed his index finger towards himself.

"yep! who else do you think? haha" The girl laughed it off, while grinning.

"I'm Issac" Issac awkwardly introduced himself, he had never experienced someone talking to him so straightforwardly before.

"oooh, I like your name!" Izumi complimented.

"Oh sorry, I think your boyfriend is a bit jealous right now..That guy across the room keeps glaring at me hehe" Izumi apologised, she pointed towards Andre sitting right across the class, gloomy.

"oh...no..I think your mistaken, we're just friends.." Issac replied. His heart felt like throbbing after facing the true fact that his childhood friend will only ever see him as a friend. Izumi noticed what was going on and gave a chicky smirk. "My bad, do you know, I heard there's a legend if you want your crush to share the same feelings for you, you should write down their name on your eraser and use it. They will like you back sooner or later." After saying that Izumi handed Issac an eraser to write his on. Issac looked at Izumi and gave the most brightest smile while Andre in the other hand felt like his heart dropped and fummed with jealousy still not knowing why.

After a few classes, it was finally the time to know who their buddies are. Everyone dashed to the notice board to check.

"Hey guys! Are you excited to know who your buddy is?" Janice said.

"I really hope they're a girl!!" Alexandra added.

Andre had hoped it to be Issac, he thought it'd be nice. Issac took a glance at the board to find out whose his buddy and see a strangely familiar name called Joshua Jones. Suddenly, someone tapped on his shoulder and said " Hey little pumpkin! It's been a while!" He gave such a charming smile, that charming smile was one Issac knew too well. Issac grasped upon realising who it was...

"OH MY GOSH! JJ? IS THAT YOU" Issac shrieked.

Okay, turns out JJ short for Joshua Jones is actually Issac's childhood friend but obviously if he were a childhood friend, why doesn't Andre knows about him?? Well here's a flashback..

I'll make it as SHORT as possible since it's quite boring... (P.S. They are all 9 years old here)

It was an average normal day where it wasn't sunny yet cold but just in the middle, where it had just the right balance, on a Saturday. Joshua ran towards Issac's house which was nearby since they were neighbours!! Joshua was bawling his eyes out, tears dripped down his puffy face with his nose runny.

"ISSAC!!", Joshua shouted when he ran to Issac's living room. He busted the door wide out with a bang.

Issac turned around in confusion. He quickly realised he wasn't okay and gave him a hug.

"What's wrong? What happened?!", Issac asked. Issac was so worried for him.

Joshua had to move countrys because of his father's job replacement. After Issac hearing that, his heart shattered, slowing tears just started flowing down his face but tried to reassuring Joshua everything would be okay and they'd still be able to talk through the internet. Even though, deep down..Issac knows that, that would be the last time he'd see him ever again.

On the day Joshua had to leave to the airport, Issac run up to him giving him one last hug and handed him a bracelet.. it was a friendship bracelet..

"Keep this! Wear it okay till we meet each other again " Issac said while trying his hardest not to cry. While in the other hand, Joshua couldn't help but sob and kept saying " I'll call you everyday!"

But..Issac waited for days but then those days turned to months then one day there was a new mover, who moved into where Joshua used to stay in. The little kid's name was Andre Hudson. After that the rest is history...

PRESENT DAY**

Joshua opened his arms open and Issac just went ahead to give him a big warm hug. It has been 7 years since they've last seen each other.

Woah! You got so tall" Issac laughed while he had to tilt his head up.

"Pft, I think it was you who got shorter", Joshua teased, he placed his hand over Issac's head and just started ruffling his hair up.

Joshua reached into his pocket and brought out the friendship bracelet Issac gave him when they were younger.

"You still kept it?" Issac suprising asked.

Without any hesitation, Andre replied. "Of course, I did"

Issac also showed his friendship bracelet on his wrist as he pulled up his sleeve.

"It still fits you? Not a surprise.. "Joshua teased.

Issac blushed in embarrassed and turned his head away with him pouting, accepting his defeat.

Meanwhile as Joshua and Issac catched up, Andre on the other hand is getting a little jealous..

"Who is this guy?!" Andre glared at them and his whole atmosphere turned into darkness. Andre held his arms crossed, looking like those scary principles you only see in the movies.

"Andre...? You good? You look like you're going to commit murder" Janice asked, patting his back.

"Yeah yeah whatever..Who's that guy?!Why is he so close with Issac?" Andre at this point just couldn't control his hatred towards Joshua which was clearly way too obvious he seemed jealous.

"Oh Josh? He's Issac's childhood friend before you moved to town. Didn't Issac tell you? Pft, I guess he doesn't trust you much HAHA" Janice explained, chuckling abit.

Andre stormed away with his fist clenched. His face fumed with jealousy and his heart felt like it was tightening. He stop for a moment then asked himself..why am I even being like this?

The next day..

"Hey, hey! Anyone saw that soccer match at 2am today?" Ryan asked. With humorous black patch under his eyes, which made him look like a man whose never slept in a whole week.

"No cause like people would much rather SLEEP" Janice replied annoyed, rolling her eyes

"Why are you so cranky today Mrs Mason(this is Ryan's surname)?" Ryan teased.

"You're so irritating!!" Janice said. She griped Alexandra's hand and dragged her along with her to the vending machine.

Alexandra suddenly took Janice's hand and looked at her worried expression.

"What's going on?" Alexandra asked, she hasn't seen Janice like that before.

"Well, you see..(secret:))" Janice said softly whispering to Alexandra's ear.

"No flipping way! Alexandra squealed, squeezing Janice hands while jumping in the air from excitement.

Meanwhile..

"geez, I was just teasing. What's up with them?" Ryan asked Andre. Ryan then realised Andre zombie-like look, looked as if he hasn't slept in days.

"No actually, what up with you? Love problems? Tell me about them." Ryan said sarcastically, throwing a slight push on Andre's shoulder.

Andre was glaring at Issac and Joshua. They were so close with each other and kept laughing constantly. Issac and Joshua was hanging out away from Issac's friend group.

"What's even so funny ?" Andre mumbled angrily.

"oh! Issac and Joshua?" Ryan asked, hoping he'd strike a conversation with him. Oddly, Ryan had a strange gut feeling something was off.

"Who know Joshua too?" Andre turned around to face Ryan.

"oops, my bad, I guess Issac didn't tell ya..

Why, you jealous that he's taking your bestie away from you?" Ryan teased while laughing but afterwards had a somewhat guilt lurking in his throat, probably knowing he shouldn't have said that.

Andre just got even more annoying but ended up replying "Me? Jealous? Never."with such confidence as he shrugged Ryan's question off.

"Haha good! Cause Joshua likes Issac and is going to court him" Ryan casually said. Ryan had always liked spilling secret around especially at a time like this.

"WHAT?" Andre shouted in horror. His eyes just filled with shock, he didn't know why but he did not like the sound of it.

"yeah, I actually saw him yesterday and he told me that."

Suddenly, Andre felt a throbbing sensation on his heart and felt like it was getting stabbed with an arrow. He hated the idea of someone liking Issac.

"He's actually going to go with him to a cafe tomorrow after school. Do you want to spy with me? " Ryan suggested.

Andre just couldn't control his feelings and stormed off going to the rooftop to calm himself down, leaving Ryan all alone to himself.

"geez.. what's up with everyone today..?" Ryan said while scratching at the back of his head.

After that, the whole rest of the day the friend group were just separated.

END OF SCHOOL**

**Why am I still feeling like this?? I think it's better for me to visit the my Uncle Steve(he's a doctor by the way) and get some advice.. * (Andre's POV*)

So instead of just heading some, he headed to his Uncle Steve's place by bike. After 15 minutes, he has finally reached his Uncle's place.

"Knock knock knock" Andre knocked on the door. "Oh my my, Andre? What brings you here child?" Uncle Steve asked once he opened the door. They both went inside to the living room and got some green tea. "So child, why did you visit me? It's not like you missed me hahaha. I'm guessing you might be needing something.

"Well Uncle Steve, I think I have a heart disease.." He said while placing his hand over his heart.

"Andre, what do you mean? Shall we go to the hospital? When did this started?"

"Well, I have a friend and I mean he's my bestfriend but recently whenever he smiles my heart just goes crazy. Also today, I heard one of his friends is courting him..and for some reason my heart just can't take it. I really think I have some short of heart disease.." Andre explained. His expression just showed how jealous he was as he fidgeted with his fingers.

"Pft, HAHAHAAHA" Uncle laughed which sounded like those evil witches from movies.

"Andre, that's not a heart disease.. I won't tell you what it is but it's not what you think" Uncle said while wiping the tears of laughter.

"What's so funny? Why won't you tell me?" Andre asked confused.

"If I tell you, I'm afraid you might not understand it yet so you should find out yourself but be quick and a word of advice to never let him go alright?" Uncle slouched back in his chair.

"hah? let go of him? Uncle..you're not making any sense"

"Yeah, not now but soon it will" Uncle said while smirking.

"Okay.. but for the meantimean can I eat dinner here?"

"Yes of course, but you have to call your mother (aka his sister) to join us meanwhile you can stay here watch TV. I'll go cook you something yummy." Uncle headed to the kitchen preparing the meals to eat.

"Thanks Uncle!"

For the people confused, Joshua Jones actually moved back to his old home town and apparently somehow moved to the same school as Issac.
