One day Alison asks her father an innocent question ," You say that every name has a meaning". "Yes", as her father remains busy in preparing her bed and doesn't pay much attention. " Then what does Aurora mean ?" . He picks her up puts her in the bed. "Why do you wanna know that?". "You read me fairytale yesterday. The name of the princess was Aurora. I don't know anyone named Aurora so I wanted to know". "Oh I see". "Aurora are the northern lights which are seen in the polars where no human lives". "In the completely dark sky in the cold polar regions the colourful lights shine very beautifully". "It sounds like the view must be beautiful". "Yes". "Have you ever seen an Aurora, Daddy?". No I haven't and I don't want to either". "Why?". "Because you are my Aurora ". "But I am Alison". Suddenly there is a bang on the door. "It looks like your mother is home", he tucks the blanks and gives her a good night kiss on her forehead. "Good night Baby". "Good night Daddy". He leaves the room and shuts the doors quietly.

Alison gets up from her bed and walks upto the doors and peeks outside. "Where were you ?", her father asks her mother who looks drunk". "You don't need to know"."I am your husband. I need to know where my wife is so late at night. You have a six year old daughter. Why can't you be a little more responsible?". "She is not my daughter". " You can't deny the fact that she is your daughter, Andrea". "You are her father but don't expect me to be her mother. She ruined my life and you know that ". "You can't blame an innocent child for your own failures. Now answer me where were you?". "I went party with some friends okay. Stop making a fuss". "You shouldn't drink that much", he snatches her bottle in her hand and throws it in dustbin. " What the hell are you doing ?". They start fighting and screaming with each other. Alison closes the doors lays down quietly in her bed and tries to sleep.

Hi..... I am Alison popularly known as Aurora. Yeah you must be freaked out by knowing that why the hell did she record herself before dying. Well..... I am sorry if I ruined your day but this is my suicide note or you can say suicide video. I never shared my life story. So I decided to record this to tell everyone my side of the story. Why I took such step?

It was September the season of autumn began . But it became a tragedy for me. When I was 8 years old, my mom left me and my dad. So I only had my dad with me. But when I was 18 years old , I found out my dad was suffering from cancer. I was heart broken but tried my best to keep him alive by working part time where ever I can get some cash while keeping up to my studies. Even I managed to keep him alive for a longer time than expected but I had to accept the fact that he was dying. He always told me "You are my light, I don't what to keep you in the dark. Pursue your dreams even though the whole world is against it". And one afternoon he told me to bring him some white roses which were his favourite and when I brought them I found out that left for ever......... After a low key fureal with just a few family friends. I decided to pursue my interest in music. I left the small town and took his advice and left for LA.

When I reached LA it was totally different from the small town I lived in. It was huge. I rented a room at a cheap rate. I could see the Hollywood sign from there. I started to work on my music. As a vocalist and lyricist I depend on my voice and lyrics more than the beats. But if the vocal and beats should be neutral in a song to be a perfect song. So I started focusing in the beats and started making my own own which can fit with my songs. I wanted to participate in The Voice and show everyone my capability. For instance I worked at a restaurant part time in the morning and worked at my music in the night. I always became super tired but I never gave up . The auditions were near and I was prepared.

It was the day of the audition and I was the participant no. 613. I brought my friend who worked with me at the restaurant and was also a good friend. It was my turn soon and I am not gonna lie , I was super nervous. I was going to sing a vocally hard song " All by myself by Celine Dion". I was nervous and then they called my stage name, " Participant no. 613 you are up ". "What is your name ? " . "Hello everyone I am Alison Campbell and I am 21 years old". After the introduction he asked me somethings I don't remember. "Okay let's begin". I sang the song effortlessly and nailed all the high notes. By the time finished the main high notes all the judges turned their chairs around. I couldn't believe it. I was selected. I hugged the judges and was insanely happy. They told that I had a beautiful voice. I was moved to tears but I didn't cry.

I was excited that I was going to be on TV. All my friends came to to my home to have a small party to celebrate and watch the audition. We waited for my turn but they didn't show my audition. Everyone left one by one and sticked to the TV. I realised that they cut the clip of my audition. By time the show came to an end most of my friends left. Only two friends were there. Sarah, who went to the show with me said ," I don't know what happened but don't break there are many opportunities ". They left after sometime and I was all alone in my appartment. I cried myself to sleep that night.

Next day, I took a leave and went to the studio. I went to talk with the people in the backstage. But the guards stopped me. I still tried to get in and then someone called me , "Is this Alison Campbell ? ". " Yes ". "Oh, you have a incredible voice. You sang such a hard song so beautifully". " Then why was my audition cut from the telecast?". "I think you might have offended a big shot as one of the producers forced to remove your audition". "No I didn't offend anyone".The girl takes me in a corner and says , " You have a lot of potential. I can help you become a star". "Why should I believe you ?". "I am not lying believe me. I can take you to my mentor and he can help you". "What do you want from me in return? Nobody helps somebody for free". "I want you to make me your manager and you can fire me if don't like me". "By the way who are you?". "I am Serena Williams ".

I thought I should give it a try and followed her to meet her mentor. I didn't had anything to lose anymore so I wanted to do anything to fulfill my dreams. We reached a studio which looked quite shabby. "This is the place", I was doubtful that if they can help me. "Believe me, come on". The recording studio was almost empty. There was a room which seemed a little better than the other rooms. She asked me to wait there and she is going to bring her mentor. I didn't had anything better to do and so , I pulled out my phone and started going through my social media accounts.

After an hour or something a young man who looked he was in his mid 20s came in and asked me, "Is this Alison?". "Yeah". "I am Alan". He extended his hand for a hand shake. "Nice to meet you". "Serena told me that you sing really well. Would you mind if I say I want to see it". "No problem". "Great. I will record it so please". He makes a gesture which Serena understands and takes me to the mic. I sang the same song which I had sung in the audition.

After the song was finished, he was silent and whispered something in Serena's ear and she looked excited as well as kinda sad. He then leaves the studio and she comes to me and says, "He loved it and says that really great and he will manage". "So your Senior wants to manage me". "He is my mentor not my senior. So it is huge". "Isn't he too young to be your mentor". "Even though he is seems young, he is really capable. He even managed big celebs like Silvia. I am really happy for you". "But isn't it unfair for you? You brought me here". "It's fine don't worry. By the way I will be your assistant manager so no big deal. I think we should celebrate". "We barely know each other". "Every friend starts out to be a strangers in the beginning". "Okay.... I guess". "Then let's go".

After somedays he called me to work on how to be famous. So I woke up early and got ready to go. Alan was there even though I was early. "Oh you are early. Serena is always late so we should begin". "I think we should wait for her". "Then you will here till midnight. There is a lot of work to do". " Okay then.... Let's begin". "So first let's think of a stage name because your your name is very common. Or you can just keep it if you want to it depends on you". "No I will change. I left everything before I came her. So a identity is nothing for me". "Okay then..... What should it be ? It should be catchy so that people can remember it". "What about Aurora?". "This is not Disney Land okay it is the entertainment industry. This is not a joke". "Do you know the actual meaning of Aurora ?". "The polar lights are known as Aurora". "It's not just the polar lights it represents how such beautiful lights shine in a place which is deserted, cold and dark". "My father always told me that I was his light and now I know what he meant". "Ok.......I think it's your talent which matters the most and if it is important for you than go for it". "Thanks for understanding". "It's ok. Then it's settled from now on you will be Aurora"
