That's what my friends keep yelling, it's about a novel that just released 8 years ago and was about to finish

That novel is titled ~Emerald~

As I was walking from work I got nothing else to do so I go and read my favourite novel ~Emerald~

Its this typical novel where the Heroine needs to do something the male lead falls in love with her and gets her happy ending

But what caught my eyes was the yandere villainess

She looks so innocent just from the description of her with her light blue hair and her golden eyes

There are no back story on what happened during her childhood why she's so obsess with the male lead

Why she became a yandere...

I want to know more about her

I have been reading this novel for many years and there's still no back story about Athanasia

I don't find her hateful

There must be a certain reason why she is like that

Why she is so in love with the male lead that she'd do anything if it means killing anyone who's in her way

Why? I wanna know about her

"Aaaaarghh"

"This is so frustrating author! Just let me know what happened in her childhood!!"

"Author! Answe-"

While I was shouting and complaining to the author

I was being careless and crossed the red light

~Bang!~

Truck - kun strikes again

....

As I woke from a long dream I finally got up but...

"My head hurts"

And I can feel my hair to my back

"But I cut my hair short just yesterday?"

I was confused I did not know what was happening but as soon as I looked at my hair.... I mean someone else's hair I ran to the mirror across my bed and look to see what's going on

"I- I have long light blue hair very beautiful golden eyes and I look so young?"

Wait this must be dream and I look a lot like that girl from the novel

Athanasia!

The novel I was reading yesterday

"I must still be dreaming"

I just can't accept it as I believed this was all a dream I pinched both of my cheeks and-

"Ouchie!"

It hurts!!

So this is not a dream? Huh?

"Author! I only want to know about Athanasia's back story! I'm such a fan of your work and this is how you repay me?!"

Did author punish me for not waiting for the novel to end?

All I want to know was Athanasia's back story

"Wait I still can't be sure that I am that Athanasia, maybe this is a dream I must be thinking about the novel so much I ended up dreaming about it!"

I said in a satisfied tone making myself think this isn't what i'm thinking about

I slapped my face as hard as I can to bring me back to reality

but it hurts....

this really isn't a dream

I touched my face to where I slapped myself

and thought that since i'm here i'll make this my opportunity to know Athy's backstory!

But I heard footsteps and it's getting louder and louder!

Then stopped infront of my door

"..."

who is it?

The suspense is killing me!

I'm starting to get scared I don't know what to do, what if it's someone trying to rob or kill me?!

Please I don't want to die again! Truck-kun, Author this is all your fault!

My whole body is shaking whoever is out there

They're just standing in front of the door what do they want?!

"Who- who's there?"

"..."

I asked while trembling in fear

There was a short silence and then

~Slam!~

Someone slammed the door open!

And it was a girl who slammed the door open she looks so young, about 16?

She looked at me with teary eyes she ran to me and hugged me so tightly like she hasn't seen me in days

"Young miss! I'm so happy your finally awake!"

She shouted in joy

Who is she? I want to ask her but then I heard another footsteps

They stood in front of the door there she was

this body's mother i'm assuming

She looked relieved, sad, and happy she came running to me and hugged me like they have not seen me too!

I want to make sure what is the relationship between the both of them

"Who are you?"

I asked

their faces went pale and shocked to what they have heard

Why? Did something happen? Is it related to this big injury on my head?

"Miss, my name is Miyalina I am the one who serves you"

She answered sweetly as she placed her hand on her chest

"Athanasia, I am Rosalinda Kriszel les Acrez your mother"

She smiled sweetly

Rosalinda Kriszel les Acrez that name sounds very familiar

les Acrez that name...

"!"

"Who am I!?"

I asked

I wanted to confirm if my guess was right

Rosalinda gave me a sweet yet sad smile she then answered

"Athanasia, Athanasia Zen les Acrez"

Maybe because i've already figured out but I just won't accept this reality

Both of them looked at each other looking sad then Rosalinda answered

As I was thinking hard about something Miyalina then asked

"Miss, do you really not remember?"

She looked at me with saddened eyes almost a tear falling out

The thing is I am not the real Athanasia I'm just someone who is currently occupying it... I hope

I do know what's going to happen in the future but i don't know anything what happened in the past

I would like to know more of Athanasia's past

"No I don't remember" I replied

The both of them started crying saddened that I have forgotten

"But I would like to know what happened in the past, I would like to know mother, miya..."

I said that with an eager tone then mother went near me and hugged me again

But this time softly like she's holding a delicate, fragile doll

"But Athy, it's very painful all of it from the past so I wish for you to not know what had happened"

She said while trembling

It may be painful memories for Athanasia but not me

"Mom, I want to know please tell me"

She looked at me debating wether to tell me or not but she decided to tell me

"Oh dear, you really want to know?"

I nodded very eagerly

She then sighed and told me

"Athanasia my daughter you were a very cheerful and energetic little girl"

Energetic? Athanasia?

"But then because of the carriage where you and your father were in crashed, I don't know how or what happened..."

She then started crying it must be very painful for her as well I was not thinking

But I am here right now to know what Athanasia the villainess has gone through

"Your father Andrew Amor les Acrez died protecting you, you were only 5 at that time if I was there if I had followed my gut and stopped both of you... This would not have happened"

Athanasia went through an accident such an important detail

Why did the author exclude it?!

Athy's story why is it so dark? I had thought as much

Athy's mother kept sobbing so Miyalina continued Athy's story

Athanasia had such a dark past but why did she become a yandere?

She did not have anything that was taken from her?

Are they not even aware as to what had happened to Athy?

Not long after they finished talking they let me get some rest

I have'nt noticed Athanasia's house is old and dusty everywhere

I'm curious I want to look around but as I step foot outside of my room it is very dusty it's like it's not have been cleaned in days or years even

I went down the stairs and was surprised by how quiet the manor is

There's no maids no butler no workers?

The only one I saw working here is Miyalina

"All of them have found another job"

I look back to see who it is but it's mother

They found a new job?

She looked at me then smiled sweetly yet sadly

"After your father's death our cloth shop has also died there is no one to take care of it... And because of that your father's siblings, cousins have all gathered and cooperated to start causing some trouble, now here we are bankrupt with a lot of debt"

We're bankrupt and in debt

It makes me furious! How dare they bully Athanasia, Rosalinda, and Miyalina!

I may not be Athanasia but I shall take vengeance!

I raised my hand shouting and thinking to myself

Mother chuckled

She looked at me and smiled again

"I'm so glad to have my happy and cheerful little Athy back"

I slept peacefully and not worried about the fact that i'm here right now in a novel I read and this body will die in the future

But if I don't follow Athanasia's steps I won't die just like in the novel!

"Yes that's right!"

I grabbed a paper and quilt to write what i'm planning to avoid my death

"Ok! So let's... Ok let's......"

I don't know what to do

Why don't I know what to do?! I'm a 25 years old lady living in a 7 year olds body!

But I guess living in a child's body has caused my mentality to shrink to a child's mindset

But I only came here just yesterday?!

All this thinking is making me bored

I did not even think that much but still i'm in a child's body so...

Being in a novel is pretty fun too I get to see rare stuff like this

I heard the bushes rustling I took a glance where the rustling bush are and there I saw

"Red... Hair?"

There pops a red hair and a familiar face this kid

"You!"

I shouted in anger

This kid is the one who murdered Athy! I'm gonna get you for that

I stood up and stomped my feet going towards the boy who's face is stuck in the bush

When I was about to pinch his cheeks really hard

"I'm sorry!"

He shouted

I'm sorry?

What do you mean sorry you're supposed to say «that's what you get» like all the other bad kids but he's saying sorry?!

I looked at him in confusion

He then stood up removed all of the dust on his shirt

"I'm sorry... Athy..."

He really apologized

I'm still not convinced!

I mean he killed poor little Athanasia

He looked at me with guilt and sad eyes

He looked down and tried to take something out from his pocket

And on reflex I positioned my arms in a fighting position waiting for what's to appear

What's he gonna pull? What's he gonna do?

I squinted my eyes then

"Here..."

Here? What does he mean by here?

I slowly opened my eyes and there, in front of me was a disheveled flower

"..."

I don't understand, he hates me right?

I looked at him and he's sweating nervously giving me the flower

He's being sincere huh?

But I want to know the reason why he's giving me this

I crossed my arms and raised my brow and said

"Why are you giving me that for?"

He looked surprised by my sudden question and sass but he still answered

"That's- that's because I know my pranks got a little too far..."

A little?!

I showed my angry and intimidating face

He cowered as if he understood what i'm trying to say

"... I really am sorry Athanasia my jokes got too far"

He looked at me as if wanting to know if that's what I want to hear

I nodded and waited for more apologies

"Um- I didn't mean to trip you..."

He said

"What do you mean?"

I asked with an angry voice

"That's all your fault Athanasia!"

What?! How's that Athanasia's fault?! Your the on at fault not me

"Listen here you little-"

As I was about to finish my sentence he then shouted

"It's all your fault Athy! Because you won't even talk to me! You don't want to play with me anymore!"

Talk? Play? Anymore?

What does he mean?

"Ouch!"

"A-athy?"

He came running to me with worried face

My head hurts

memories, this memories...

It's the kid i'm talking to now

We're playing?

Together we look so happy....

As my headache stopped I looked up to where the kid is standing

I wanna ask what is Athy's relationship with this kid

"Hey kid, who are you and what's your name?"

He flinched

He looked at me with a disappointed and confused look

Did Athy mean anything to this kid?

"You don't remember me?"

Tears came rolling down to his cheeks then runs away saying

"I hate you Athy!"

He ran away he must be hurt

~sigh~

My only source of information has ran away

Seeing as he's hurt he and Athy must be friends but why would he bully her?

According to what I have gathered from him so far

Athanasia won't talk or play with him anymore

Does he not know what happened to Athanasia?

They're friends but it's surprising why he still doesn't know yet

So about the whole murder thing he *accidentally* murdered his friend

His joke went too far and *accidentally* killed his friend

~Sigh~

I got tired of thinking I looked up in the sky and it was getting pretty late

so I returned home and after dinner I went to bed

The next day I took a stroll and went to the pretty flowers I saw yesterday

Miyalina said that the pretty flower I found yesterday is called Camellia

Wowee what a pretty name

I thought to myself

~Rustle Rustle~

"Hey kid I can hear you rustling over there!"

I turned my head to find the kid who ran away yesterday he didn't even answer my question

"So, who are you?"

I asked grumpily
