One day Ava's mother Amy told Ava "she is so happy she is starting school again and then she could be a doctor!" Amy said with excitement. Then Amy kissed Ava on the forehead. "Mom stop I'm almost an adult!" Ava said with embarrassment. "I don't know why my daughter is so embarrassed." Amy said with a sigh. "Mom we can talk later I'll be late for the first day of school!" Ava said with a hurry. "ok bye Ava have a wonderful day at school!" Amy said.

Later when Ava arrived at school.

Someone called out Ava's name it was her best friend Julie. Ava was so happy to see her best friend! They both ran up to each other then gave each other a hug. "Hi bestie!" Julie said with a big smile on her face. "Hi Julie, I hope we have class together!" Ava said. Julie asked "what class do you have today?" Ava replied with "I have math, music, science, lunch then gym at the end of the day." Julie said "aw I don't have any of those today...how about we talk when it's lunch to catch up on the things we learned today!" Ava said "yes we should do that!" The bell rang. They went to class.

Then Ava went into class. A few hours later. Ava asked the teacher Miss Britney if she could use the restroom. "You may go to the restroom" Miss Britney said. Ava went into the restroom. Then she got out of the restroom looked at her watch and said "hmm fourteen more minutes until lunch! YaY!" But before she knew there was a lockdown. The person on the intercom said "everyone please go to your classroom immediately! There is an intruder!" Ava was shocked. Ava was running to her classroom but when she was at the door it was locked she tried all the other doors but they were locked too!

Ava was freaking out she didn't know what to do. Then there was a boy who came from the corner. Ava thought he was the intruder but when she looked at the boys outfit it was the same uniform as her. But she has never seen him before. The boy looked the same age as Ava. Then the boy said "hey you come with me I know where we could hide!" before Ava could protest he grabbed her arm. "Hey can we walk slower? PLEASE!" the boy said "do you want to die?! stop screaming!"

Then they were running and saw the intruder. The intruder said "HEY COME BACK HERE!" with an angry tone. "Don't listen to this dude and don't talk back to him. Your going to be safe with me." the boy whispered to Ava. The intruder almost caught up to them but Ava and the boy turned every corner and they went into a locker. The boy said "I think we lost him." Ava was relieved. Ava said "I really am tired but I can't sleep in this situation!" The boy said "You can sleep I'll be with you and I will keep on the watch!"

After Ava fell asleep, so did Kyle. When they woke up they heard some shouting. "Is anyone in here?! Show yourself now!" Kyle told Ava "I think we are safe I think that's a guard." Kyle said with excitement. "Yeah I think so too!" Ava replied. When both of them got out of the locker they a guard. "What are you doing? why are both of you in a locker?" the guard said with suspicion. Kyle and Ava looked at each other then started to blush. "We didn't do anything! He saved me from the intruder and then-" Ava was saying but then got caught off from the guard. "You don't need to tell me the whole story just go outside! Both of you!" They went outside not saying a word and then seeing everyone panicking. Then her best friend Julie ran up to get and said "Are you ok?! It's one of a freaky first day of school!" "Yes I know I was really scared but this guy helped me and I'm very happy!" Ava said with a huge smile on her face. "Oh I was wondering something! Um what's your name?" Ava asked Kyle.

"I'm Kyle, and who are you guys?" Kyle said with a arrogant tone. "Hey I'm the person you saved aren't you going to ask me if I'm ok?!" Ava said with a sad face. "I asked you a question now ANSWER IT!" Kyle said with an icy tone. "I'm Ava and this is my best friend Julie!" Ava said quickly. "Hey Kyle um I never seen you at school before so are you new?" Julie said curiosity. "Are you ok Ava?" Kyle said ignoring Julie. "You didn't have to say that I was just getting mad....I'm sorry please forgive me!" Ava said while bowing to Kyle. "No need I just want to keep you safe" Kyle turned is face while blushing. 'He wanted to keep me safe?! Who is he I don't even know him but maybe he's just like that to other people too!' Ava thought. "Well thank you Kyle for saving my best friend. Julie said. " Yes, thank you so much Kyle I am very happy you were there if you weren't I would have passed away.... thank you!" Ava said then hugged him. "what.....what are you doing you don't even know me why are you acting like this?" Kyle said with confusion. "I was wondering if we could be friends!" Ava said.
