"Why is he the protagonist, it should be Shiro instead. If I haven't taken a liking to Shiro's character, I wouldn't even read this manga. The MC is an idiot" I opened my cabinet and changed.

"I can't wait for the rain to stop when they put the cliff hanger just before Shiro would take action" I put on a raincoat and also brought an umbrella.

I continued to complain until I got out of my apartment. The storm is raging when I stepped out of my apartment building, I opened my umbrella and walked towards the shopping district.

(Hi, I'm Hitaro Haru. You ask why both my first and surname means fire, well my parents said when I was born, fire was set to the building surrounding the hospital I was born in. It was said that the electricity throughout the city fluctuated that caused a shortcircuit to some buildings surrounding the hospital.

After I was out of my mothers womb, the doctor almost dropped me cause of the heat my body was exerting. Most of the people, in the delivery room believed that I would die in minutes but after a few hours, my body temp slowly subsides and I was deemed healthy.

I'm now 26 years old, I make a leaving as a game tester and I'm also a certified Otaku. I hate being surrounded by people, I hate anything troublesome. I just want a simple life without any problems that need to much effort to solve, but)

"If I was the hero, I wouldn't be so idiotic"

"What, who said that!" I shouted and caught every persons attention on the street.

A flash of light coming from the sky caught my eyes, the moment I saw it, it was already to late. Lightning roared down on me, thunder echoed throughout the city and masked the horrified screams of the people that witnessed what happened.

I closed my eyes the moment I felt being struct by lightning, I felt the electricity surge through my veins to my brain, I felt my body being burned to crisp. I wanted to scream but no voice comes out, as my consciousness slowly disappears, I fought as hard as I can to open my eyes for the last time.

I hurd the voices as if they are whispering to not startle me. My strength slowly comes back and the pain gone, I then gave my all to open my eyes.

"wo-yah ya yahhh" I spoke but something was wrong. I can't speak, as if my tongue and mouth aren't following my instructions. My voice was like the sound of an infant, no it was the voice of an infant.

"iieeeeyyyyyaaaahhhhhh" I shouted as I hold my mouth. My eyes trying to find an explanation, I looked around the room until I found myself looking at the woman holding me.

"Ah, adamsy gözüni açdy. Salam Yalyn, men seniň ejeň"

[Ah, he opened his eyes, my husband. Hi Yalyn, I'am your mother]

(What are they even saying, I have the hand of a baby. Then I must be a new born and this people must be my parents) I grabbed the finger of the man poking into me that is probably my father.

(I must been reincarnated as a baby when I was struck by lightning, well I'm already here. I should just forget the past and live my new life. But I think I forgot something important)

(It has been 5 years now, I learned a lot about this world I've been reincarnated in. It's a world of monsters and magic. Yes, I'm in a world of Isekai. My parents are commoners, my mom works in an inn and my father works for a Merchant.

I've tried my best to learn this worlds language, good thing their language is like English, it is the main language used by all the races all over the world. Each race has their own language like my old world but it is required for all races to learn human language. Convenient right, hahah)

(Because my family is poor, I tried to help them earn money. Well not because I'm a good child, it's so that I can eat and buy the things I want.

That's why they were so happy when I was born, they do their best to buy everything I need but the money they earn isn't enough. So I had no choice but to help and earn the money to buy what I want)

I only smiled while scratching my head (should he really say that to a five year old boy)

"Pul, have my orders arrived?"

"Your early today, Jady. Yes they just arrived at sunrise"

"Yeah I need them for today at the school, we'll have some experiments in the afternoon" it looked like she was taken aback when she looked at me.

"Who is this child, Pul"

"Ahh, that's Yalyn. Son of Bölek, his been helping out his father here in the shop for a while now"

"Doesn't he look to young for the job" she carefully studied me.

Chills run down my body (Why is this woman looking at me with killing intent) I hid behind Pul's back. (I can't let her know that I felt her piercing gaze, I just have a bad feeling about her finding out)

"He just turned five years old, I really didn't want him to work here but he insisted on helping his parents so I accepted in the condition that when I tell him to go home, he has to go home"

She knelt down on one knee to level herself with me "Child, would you like to learn magic from me?"

Not only Pul but also myself was taken aback by what this magician said.

(Whhhaaaatttt!?? shes going to teach me magic? This is to convenient, this kind of set up will end up me being the main character of a manga)

"Th-t-tha...nk y-you f-for the o-offer, Miss. B-but I-i h-ha-have t-to re-re..fuse" (what the hell. Why is my voice trembling, isn't she going to find out that I noticed her intent if I'm nervous. Baka, baka, baka, relax you shouldn't let her notice)

(A few days had already passed from the day the court magician offered to teach me. Yes, later that day, I found out that she was the Kings Court Magician, the second highest position from the kings advisor or the Grand Duke. Also, she teaches magic at the school for the nobility. I also found out that she was a childhood friend of my master, that's why they speak to each other informally)

A few days passed and this magician with no hint of responsibility has been pestering me "Nehh Yalyn, have you no interest in magic? Your life will be easier with magic, you will be known not only in our kingdom but also to other kingdoms. A lot of sexy beautiful ladies will beg for your attention despite your feminine name"

I looked at her with astonishment, her faced lighted up expecting something. (Iya, iya, iya. I shouldn't fall for that) I thought while shaking my head.

(Why? you ask why I didn't accept the offer from this negligent magician. Because I don't want to be a main character, it will just be troublesome for me. Even if I'm poor, I'll be content of the uneventful, peaceful life. Even if I have the rarest chance to experience magic and adventure in real life, I will always prefer solitude)

(It seems that in other countries, people with great deal of mana is used as a source of electricity. If your a citizen, you will be given great reward and will be considered as a hero but if your someone from another kingdom, you will be imprisoned and treated as a tool. If your not abducted, you will still be in trouble cause if someone with a great deal of mana doesn't learn how to control it, it may cause illnesses to the people around the person. Because of this, people will either attempt to kill or hire someone to kill the person)

I then positioned myself in a Dogeza while saying "Please take me as your student"

"I knew your a bright child" she then patted my back as hard as she could.

"cough, cough, arigato gozamaisu, shishou" (Tssk even though it sounded like more of a threat than a reminder)

(It's been several months since I've been thought by shishou, I'll be turning 6 next month. I have been training magic from sunrise till you are able to see the sun in the horizon or at my old word 5am-7am then work at the shop till noon. After lunch I would go to the training ground of the knights to copy their stance to train, sometimes some of the knights would teach me directly. Because I'm a son of a commoner, I don't have the right to access any commodity provided to people in training to become a knight.

But even so, I've attained the skill magicians apprentice and also attained the skill swordsman. Skills in this world isn't to complicated like in the RPG games, it's more like a title than a skill. When you learn the required number of action or attacks, you will then earn the title and once attained, you will unlock the remaining actions or attacks that are linked to the skill or should I say title.

For example, when I learn to cast 5 magic out of all the 10 magic linked to the skill elementary magician, I will earn the skill/title elementary magician and will also learn the remaining 5 magic. Only basic magic like lighting things with fire magic or lifting with things with gravity magic, as in basic magic that is usually used on daily life. Then when I learned to cast 20 kinds of magic, I earned the skill/title Magic Student then also earned 10 more kinds of magic, a total of 30 magic which abled me to use much more useful magic that can let me aide other people with some simple problems. Now that I'm a magicians apprentice, I can now cast about 50 kinds of magic that abled me to obtain at least 10 basic defense magic.

Ohh did I mention that shishou obtained the skill Earth Master Magician, which allows her to cast 300 kinds of magic that are linked to earth magic aside to the basic magic she learned till magician in training that has nothing to do with Earth magic. There are a total of 10 kinds of Element of magic that can be mastered.

Wind, Fire, Water, Earth, Lightning, Light, Darkness, Creation, Gravity and lastly Time and Space. Only a few are able to use Time and Space, it's not a practical magic cause it requires a long while to be able to complete the chant for one magic. Also it requires a huge amount of mana, so to cast one alone will be suicidal.

To be able to reach Saint Magician, a person will require to learn 200 magic linked to each Element of magic. Which means, a person needs to memorize 2000 kinds of magic.

(Auugghhh, just thinking about it makes me dizzy)

Before I became a swordman, I was first a sword holder, which I'm only able to hold a sword and can't fight yet. Then a sword defender, which I can defend against some weak enemy's but still doesn't have the experience required to fight and then a swordsman, with the ability to fight a set of kind of enemy)

"Bozu, if you keep at this pace. You'll attain Magician in no time" with a smug look.

"Is that what's next on magicians apprentice?"

"Nahhh, you'll first reach magician in training before, Magician"

"Eeehhhh"

"When you reach magician in training, you will be able to learn all basic defense and attack magic. You won't learn powerful magic yet but with enough mana, your basic defense magic can defend from powerful spell and you'll be able to attack decently against powerful foes.

"So if I'm able to master the basic magic spells I know for me to insert more mana efficiently in casting them, I can even fend off against someone like you shishou?"

"Yes, that's why it is important for you to master your mana control and then master some attack and defense magic so you can efficiently utilize the strength of the spell"

"You said I have a great amount of mana in me shishou"

"Yes I did" he was lying down on a wall not to tall while using gravity magic to a leaf big enough to shield her from the sunlight.

"Does that mean, if I learn to control it. Even if I only reach magician in training, I will be able to defeat someone like you?"

"Hmm that's a good question. I would answer that as Yes and No" she sits up and looked at me and gestured to continue.

I continued my stance while waiting for her to continue.

"Yes it's possible for you to defeat someone at my level but only if they underestimated you. However, for me who already know your potential, it will be impossible"

I stopped and looked at her with a face expecting for more explanation.

"Even if you mastered controlling your mana, you will only know basic magic which is easily blocked. Which means, you only have one chance to defeat a magician who underestimated you. Cause once they have seen your power, they will strengthen their defense and they will attack you with their strongest attack magic that cannot be blocked by basic defense magic. Do you now understand?"

I just nodded (I have no choice then but to become a saint magician) I sighed (I really don't have a chance to have an easy, quiet normal life huh)

"Nehh, shishou. Does that also pertain to swordsmanship?"

"No, you only have one choice in swordsmanship. That is to train, train, and train untill you master it and perfectly utilize every sword stance linked to your skill. You will be able to defeat a saint even if your only a swordsman but that still depend on how you use your skill"

"I also don't have a choice in swordsmanship then but to train huh" I said as I swing my double edge sword.

(You ask why I'm training my swordsmanship? Simple, because I have accepted to be this magicians apprentice. I have now a 70/30 percent chance to be the MC of a vital story in this world. I just wish I end up to be the supporting role instead) I sighed. (The good thing is, swordsmanship is more simpler than being a magician. It only requires experience, reflex and adoptability. You don't have to memorize anything, you can fight freely

I only have to make sure that in every circumstances, I have the highest possibility to survive) I sighed again (this is becoming more troublesome by the minute)

"Ohhh are you getting board in swordsmanship training bozu? I know that magic is more fan, but you have to be firm with your decision to train both" she smiled from ear to ear with a smug look.

(Why does this person loves to assume, isn't she the one bored and not me) I just smiled a bit and continued my training.

I knew that once I have accepted training under the court magician, I would face trouble someday, but I never new that in just a few months under her, seeds of jealousy are already sprouting.

"You already know what to do, right?" he smiled with expectation towards the person kneeling down not far in front of him.

"Ha-hah! I shall remove the thorn on your side, kakka"

I opened my eyes after a disturbance in the air woked me up. (I can feel unfamiliar presence inside our home, thieves? No, impossible. We don't have anything of value. Our home is just made of stones and clay, what do they even want from us) I approached my room door as silently as possible and peaked outside.

(Four people? why are they inside our home?) I readied my self with physical defense magic and made sure I was calm to not make any mistake that could endanger my parents. I just hope they leave the moment they learn that they were found out.

"Who are you people? what do you need from us, there is nothing of value in our home"

"Tssk, we don't have a choice. Make sure to make it look like a break in"

"Yes, sir"

Three of them surrounded me while one of them remained in stand by as if observing me and waiting for an opening.

"Wait I'm only a child misters, are you really gonna attack me" (yabai, yabai ,yabai. I think I'm slowly becoming a idiotic MC)

"Don't worry boya, were only gonna knock you out as long as you don't struggle"

The man on my left wielding two daggers slashed at me that I dodged, while the man behind me with a one edge sword like a katana took the chance to slash through my neck with the back of his sword that I also dodged to my left. Now the man on my left was now in front of me and the man behind me on my right.

(Oi, oi, those actions are barely just to knock me out. But not bad me, my reflex are awesome. Thank you shishou, I now realize that the tormenting training you have done to me was not fruitless)

The man now on my left circled to my back and the other on my right followed, attempting to capture me but I jumped over the man who circled behind me, he side stepped and tried to jump in attempt to attack me on air however with magic, I was able to maneuver to avoid his attack. But my magic hit some kitchen wares.

The door in my parents room at the other end of the room slowly opened as my father said "Son is that you? what's that noise?"

The man that was only observing was the closest at the door and attempted to attack or more like immobilize my father but I casted defense magic earth wall to cut him off. He jumped back using the earth wall and landed in the middle of all of us to avoid crushing to the wall I made.

'Tssk, his better than expected. We shall retreat now' he did his best to not let my father hear.

'But sir' one was hesitating.

'Don't worry, I have already finished our objective. After we have collected the reward, we'll leave' the others only nodded and as if they were never there, they all vanished into smoke. I then undid the earth wall before my father opened the door all the way.

"Son, can you bring this stuff to the storage room?"

"Yes father" I was helping my father with his job when some soldiers entered the store.

They are not the kingdom soldiers, rather some personal guards instead. The soldiers walked towards my father and tied his hands behind him.

"Bölek Adamlar, you are suspected of stealing goods from order carriages, you will have to come with us"

"What are you talking about, there must be a mistake sir, I would never do such a thing"

"Some soldiers are now on their way to your home to investigate the claims. If you didn't do such a thing, just quietly come with us. You will be released immediately once you are proven innocent."

"Father" I looked at him with puzzled and worried look.

"Don't worry son, I didn't do such a thing so I'll be home before dinner"

Though father said I should not worry, but I have a bad feeling about them searching our home. I asked master Pul to let me off for today and run as fast as I can to home.

I just got in time, when the soldiers arrive at our home. (How do they plan to enter, masaka, are they planning to break our door) I walked through the crowd and spoke to them.

"Please, you do not need to break our door. I will open it for you" as if surprised they looked at me and gestured to me to proceed.

They entered the moment I opened the door. (Why are all of them going to one direction and not searching our home? wait isn't that the place I found a bag that might have been owned by those who broke in our house last night)

'There's nothing here, sir'

'Look for it, look around the house'

They were whispering but because I was inside the house, I was able to hear them. (If they are really looking for that bag. Good thing I brought it this morning and gave it to master with shishou after my magic training)

I told them about what happened last night. We were in master Pul's office.

"What do you think, will you be able to find out who owns this?"

"I'm gonna check the records, they wouldn't be able to claim anything if they didn't order this through my shop also they wouldn't be so dum to use a months old order."

Shishou just nodded "It was a wise decision to bring this, if you have let a day pass before bringing this here, a mount of problem would have happened and we'll have trouble to resolve it"

"If I understand what you are saying shishou, is somebody plotting something against my family?" they looked at me with astonishment like I have said something unbelievable.

(Baka, of course they'll be surprised, your barely a six year old child) "Ahh the people who broke in last night spoke to each other and said that someone bought their service and that after they get their reward, they were going to leave the kingdom" I said in a panic.

(They didn't actually said it with detail, but it was easy to understand if you were old enough. If my brain was also a brain of a 5 year old child, of course I wouldn't be able to understand)

"That's an unusual mistake, as I heard from your story, they seem to have great skill and are professionals" shishou said while holding her chin.

"M-maybe, because I was a child?"

"Ohh right, because of your great skill for such a young age, there are times I forget that your still a child" she said and laughed.

I hid my face and grimaced with relief.

"Are you okay Yalyn, your shaking a bit" master said with worry.

(Of course I would shake, you guys are to intuitive. It's hard to hide things from you) I shouted in my head.

I lifted my hands and smiled with a worried face "nothing master" I then bowed my head and clenched the end of my clothes "I'm just worried about my parents" (I think I can already win the oscars with my acting)

Master held my shoulder and caressed it gently as if to make me calm. "Don't worry, we won't let anything happen to your parents. Now go to work" I went and left my masters office and helped my father.

After more than an hour of searching they went outside our home "There is nothing in your house, we will dismiss the charges on your father and release him in a while" his voice filled with displeasure and they left with no further explanation.

I went back to work and informed master. After lunch I continued my sword training and some knights approached me and shared their thoughts. I was never a person who was good in socializing so I was uncomfortable and was not sure how to respond to them.

One of them said "I think you have attracted a noble and this noble made a decision to create issues that would directly affect you and your family"

'You shouldn't say that to a child. What would you do if he develops hatred towards the nobles and choose not to be part of the kingdoms forces' another knight whispered to the other.

The man who spoke covered his mouth with an apologetic look "Don't mind what I said Yalyn, would you like us to teach you more sword stance" he said to take away my attention from what he said.

(I already knew that and they didn't need to worry, I won't do anything against the nobles and the kingdom, it will just be to troublesome.) I looked down for a bit to firm up my composure (I know that what that nobleman did was hateful, but I'm to powerless right now. If I used violence against that noble, I will just create more trouble) I looked back at them and just smiled a bit with innocence "Hai!"

(I will built up my experience and connection and become more powerful at the point that they won't even think of defying me. Until that time comes, I will hold this anger within in me and use it as a motivation)

The moment I accepted the court magicians guidance, I have swore not to take any action that could take heed from anyone. But without any notice, I have already entered the stage of the main story of this world.

After I left the masters office.

"He is to bright for his age, it's a bit worry some" Jady said.

"I understand what you mean, it's to bad for him to witness such ugliness in such a young age"

"If we let him and his family continue to leave at their home, they will be targeted again and again"

"What do you want to do then?"

"Do you have any job that needs constant attention that you can entrust to an employee?"

"Well the stocks need to be checked before opening and closing time now, cause of the growing demand and a lot of new helpers"

"Then you can entrust it to Bölek then"

"Why does your words sounded more like an order than a question? Hmm well he is the oldest employee in my store, the problem is that he isn't a detailed worker"

"That's not going to be a problem when his son is his helper, right?"

"Okay, okay, I will widen the store and add some floors too, for them to leave in. I've been thinking on renovation for some time now anyway for wider stock rooms"

"Thanks for this"

"You don't have to thank me, I also worry for that child. It's just to unusual for you to care for someone this much"

"I just see great potential in that child and I don't want anything to hinder his development. He will be a great asset to our world. Specially to the upcoming catastrophe prophesied"

(I have to think of him as a pawn and nothing more or I might make a mistake that could cause me) she only frowned and left the room. Pul only made a troubled and worried look but he knew very well that he shouldn't cross his bounds.

I had no idea what path has shishou made for me when we had met for my afternoon magic training but I felt that she changed a bit and became a bit distance.

"From today onwards, you will train as if your life depended on it"

"What do you mean shishou?"

"I know that your name sounds feminine but you should act more masculine"

"Sensei, you know that you shouldn't comment about my name like that"

"Enough with the pointless chatter. Let us begin"

Sensei casted a powerful attack magic and I had no choice but to defend my self with the strongest defense magic I know. (Good thing I learned chant less magic or I would have died from that)

(He can cast magic without any chants? I can already imagine him as a saint magician, he will be truly terrifying. But for now he is still a novice and I shall make sure that he understands that)

The man sitting in front of a valuable desk answered "Ahh yes, because they needed to make sure that their story was believable. They also imprisoned one of their servant, but that only made it easier for me to find them"

"Is it enough?" her expression was serious.

"I was able to dig up a lot of bribery and falsification, in other words corruption under their name"

"Are you going to be affected?"

"Nahhh, I don't deal with them in-person. They only send their order and payment, so no one will be able to pin any faults towards me"

"Did the constructors arrive?"

"Ahh yes, they will start the renovation tomorrow. I requested to finish it within a month"

A sigh of relief escaped the court magicians mouth.

"Are you okay, Jady" Pul asked.

"It's just good to hear that everything is proceeding with no issue"

"Hmmm yes it is, but why do you don't look happy at all?"

"It's nothing, I will set it up so that they'll be caught red handed. The rest will depend on you"

(It's been a few weeks now since that incident happened, master said that he had already confirmed who instigated it. It was the Earl Açgöz Zalym, he did it because of his 13 year old son Çagalyk who greatly admires Shishou.

I said that I would bury my anger and it's been days now, but it was infuriating that they attempted to ruin my whole life because of a petty reason. Because of it, I can't help but go to that nobles mansion and observe what he does. It takes all of me just to stop my urges to attack him.

(Will I be able to stop myself again today?) I was only looking down on the ground while walking when a commotion caught my attention. It was on the direction of the Earls Mansion.

"Halt!" One of the kingdom knights shouted, it was meant for the coachman who was coaching the supply carriage for the Earl.

The coachman stopped the carriage and step down, as he said "Sir knights of the honorable Knights of the Arcane Writ, how may I be of service?" the coachman was very composed but their was a hint of nervousness on his face as he bow his head as a sign of respect even though there was no need of it, as if to hide it to the person in front of him.

The coachman was still in the middle of paying respect to the knights when the one leading the assembly spoke "I am Hyzmat Edýäna a Knight Commander, the Captain of this squadron. We were ordered to randomly check supply carriages. If I'm not mistaken this is for the Earl Açgöz, open the back and let us inspect the items" I saw the coachman's face twitch in annoyance which cannot be seen through the line of sight of the knights who were on their horses.

(His bold to react that way in front of a 2nd class knight)

The coachman stood straight and answered "Apologies, however you will have to go through the proper procedure for me to be able to let you probe into the Earls personal effects" His about to step on the carriage "Then if that is all sirs, the earl is waiting for me. May you please excuse me"

Another knight lead his horse beside the Captain "You insolent fool with your impertinent insinuation, do you imply that the Earls position is greater than the one who have ordered us this task?"

"With all due respect, may I ask you whom you are talking about?"

The knight who addressed his rudeness was about to draw his sword when the Captain stopped him.

"I ask you coachman, whom in the kingdom has the authority to order the Kingdom Knights of the Arcane Writ" he said with pride.

(If I'm not mistaken, Knights only serve the king and does not take orders from the legislative nor the judiciary. Which mean that if they said ordered then it was directly from the king)

The coachman paled and fear can be seen through his face as he trembled.

"Open the back of the carriage and start the inspection" the Captain ordered.

"Gyoi" all the knights answered.

It ended the moment they opened the back of the carriage, as if they didn't need further inspection. They forcefully opened the gate to the Earls mansion and in minutes, they have subdued the Earl.

The Earls face filled with fear and regret.

"What are you doing with my father, do you not know whom he is. He is one of the Earl of this kingdom!" his youngest son Çagalyk screamed. But the Earl only gestured to him to stop.

(That serves you right, you have exploited your power to much) I left that place before I start to have pity to his youngest son who was crying his eyes out and continually apologizing just to bring back his father to him.

The next day, I heard that Açgöz was deemed guilty of corruption. He pocketed fifty percent of the money meant for the suburb part of the kingdom.

"You reap what you sow" I said while I continue my everyday routine.

The Kingdom has two Authorities under the administration of the King, the Judicial and Legislative. The Judicial is mostly in charge of the Investigation, apprehension and punishment of criminals. While the Legislative has seven powers of the government under their authority [the power to declare war, raise an army, coin money, regulate commerce, establish rules of immigration and naturalization and to establish federal courts and their jurisdictions]

Their are a total of 13 Duke and Duchess including the Grand Duke, 17 Marquess and Marchioness, 26 Earls and Countess, 24 Viscounts and 20 Barons and Baroness. A total of 100 noble families under the King. The King is a feminist that is why he had given authority to women that has the ability for it, except for Viscountess because of inadequate education. [Viscountess mostly came from the settlements or the suburb part of the kingdom which only offers standard education]

The duties are divided to all the nobles except for the Viscounts who mostly stays in their counties and only visits the Castle when a new law is establish or ceased. Barons and Baronesses who only became a noble as a reward for an achievement.

The legislative is divided to three, Council to declare war and raise an army, Council for coin money and commerce and the Council for establishment of rules of immigration and naturalization and establishment of the federal courts and their jurisdictions where the Grand Duke is a part of.

Each Legislative council has three Dukes/Duchess, four Marquess/Marchioness and six Earls/Countess. The remaining of the nobles are in the Judicial.

(If I remember correctly, Master said that Açgöz was in the council of coin money and commerce) I thought as I lift a box to load it in a carriage.

The Kingdom is divided into three parts, the district which is in the middle of the capital where most of the noble lives. The settlement at the edge of the capital beside the kingdom walls where the Barons, Merchants, Business owners and Knights lives. And the Suburb or Counties outside the kingdom walls. Which was also divided and entrusted to the authority depending on the nobles position. The duke/duchess was in charge of the district, the Marquess/Marchioness of the settlement and the Earl/Countess of the suburb. Their is 24 Viscounts which means 24 Counties in the kingdom. Their were 6 Earls in the Council of Coin money and Commerce, they are responsible for four counties each.

(So he corrupted fifty percent of the money that should have been used to aid the four counties he was in charge in. He should be thankful that his already in prison) I just frowned in displeasure and clenched my fist.

Master said that the judicial investigated those counties to substantiate the corruption done by the earl, they were able to confirm when the corruption started.

After a few more days when they have completed the investigation.

"Yalyn, come to my office" master shouted. I came immediately and was asked to sit on the guests couch, he then told about the punishment given to the Earl.

The King personally gave the verdict, Açgöz was stripped of his nobility. The Zalym family was dispersed, some relatives that was proven innocent was sent to the edge of the district, at the boundary of the the district and the settlement that abled them to continue to do business in the district but also a reminder that they are no longer nobles. While Açgöz, his family and relatives that was in cahoot with him was sent to the suburb and was given a land amounting of what's left of their fortune for them to continue to live in the kingdom as farmers.

(When karma hits, it really hits hard) I wasn't smiling but also not frowning. I can't tell if I was content or discontent of the outcome but never the less, the corruption was stopped and the person who attempted to frame my father was also punished.

"Thank you master" he was surprised.

"Why are you thanking me, I didn't do anything" his voice defensive.

(I knew from the very start that master and shishou was working together to capture Açgöz, but I can't let them know that I'm perceptive as them at my age) I only smiled "thank you for letting me know master, only from you can I know things like this"

"Ahhh yes, hahah of course" he sounded suspecting and doubtful.

I stood up and smiled widely "I can't wait to tell father about this"

"Yalyn, let me tell him instead. I haven't told him yet about what the previous Earl had concocted against your family"

I looked at him with confusion "Master, what is concocted?" I asked even though I knew what it meant.

"Sorry, I forgot that I was talking to a child. I mean what the earl did against your family"

"Ahhh I learned a new word, thanks master and yes, I understand. Do you need anything else?" as I walked towards the door and opened it.

"No, you can continue your work"

I walked out the room as I closed the door.

He was still doubtful of his thought about Yalyn "why do I feel like that child knew what we were doing for him. No, that is not possible. I only told him that I found out who framed his father and nothing else. I must be becoming senile, I should train my brain more, I'm still to young"

In this world some people celebrate their birthday yearly while others only celebrate 3 birthdays in their lifetime.

The 6th birthday, the circumcision for boys and the acknowledgement for girls. Boys celebrate their birth day from morning to afternoon, after the celebration they will be cleansed then circumcized just before the sun disappears in the horizon and kneel down in front of the chapel as a new citizen of the kingdom. While girls after the celebration of their birthday will be cleansed and then braided in front of the chapel while kneeling down, as acknowledgement that they were officially a citizen of the kingdom.

The 12th birthday, the coming of age. They said that this was the age where boys start to have sexual urges and girls starting to menstruate.

And the 18th birthday, they didn't named it cause it was the age where children finally be independent. They are required to live their homes the day after their birthday and start their own life, except for those that will inherit their parents business.

I just turned 6 years old, I'm now being cleansed.

"Yalyn, are you okay. You look pale as a canvas" I was being cleansed by some priest in training.

I wasn't able to answer cause I can't remove the thought that my partner will be cut while I'm awake.

Even if I try to distract myself with the thought of my new room in the shop, the image becomes even clearer.

It was noon at my birthday, master approached me with shishou.

"Yalyn, happy birthday" master said with a bright smile.

"Happy birthday" shishou said with a hint of indifference.

From the day that my father was framed. Shishou started to slowly drift away from me. She still trains me the best she can, but she has started to avoid me after every training. (Did I do something to her that made her hate me?) I asked myself while looking at her intently.

Master coughed to take my attention from shishou. "Yalyn, I spoke to your father earlier. I promoted him to supply auditor"

"Yes, father has told me"

"Well, you already know that being the auditor will require your father to be at the shop before the sun peaks at the horizon. But only knights are allowed to walk around the kingdom at those hours"

"Hai"

"So I told your father that he will need to start living in the shop, mochiron, with you and your mother"

"Kamaimasen master, yoroshiku onegai shimasu" as I bowed.

'Do I really need to be awake as they cut that part of me' (I didn't even got circumcized at my previous world, why do I need it here) I thought to myself. In surprise, one of the priest answered.

"It is required, because after the circumcision, you will need to walk towards the chapel and kneel for the ceremony to be completed" my skin turned from pale to bright red.

(Thank the gods that I didn't spoke the last part out loud. Arrgggg why does this world make me do everything I didn't and never wanted to do in my previous world)

I walked out of the cleansing room and saw shishou. She might have noticed my nervousness, she approached me and whispered "Before you reach where you will be circumcized, chant this 'O, Theé tou pónou, dóse sto paidí sou éleos kai fáe ton fóvo sou, (Ohh, God of pain, bestow upon your child mercy and eat away thy fear) desensitize' this will help you cope with it"

I just nodded "Arigatō" with a smile.

After I chanted the magic, before I knew it, I was already kneeling at the front of the chapel. It's as if my fear was bottled up and my senses was numb out. I saw blood spurt out but I did not feel any pain, I also barely can comprehend what was happening, as if even my brain activity was also dulled.

It was a scary feeling but thanks to the spell, I was able to get pass through that great hurdle.

After another, right after my birthday, the shop renovation was finished and my family moved in while my partner recuperate.

A month has passed and I was back to my daily routine. I finished my lunch and was on my way to my training ground when I bumped into someone and got knocked down at the last corner just before my destination.

"Are you all right?" the boy asked as he reached out to me to help me stand up.

I accepted his help then patted my behind to remove sand and dust. "Yes, sorry about that"

"No, it was my fault. I was clearly walking to fast for us to be able to avoid each other"

"Let just say, it's both our fault" I said with a smile.

He reached out to his head as if patting it "I guess that's all right" he awkwardly smiled.

He was taller than me, he seems to be the same age as me. I mean the same age as my current body. I might have stared at him to much, he turned red.

"Sorry for staring, this is just the first time I met someone close to my age" ahhh I sound like an old geezer who haven't left home for decades.

He smiled "you sounded like an old man that haven't left his home for decades" then laughed.

(My thought exactly) I laughed awkwardly. "more like never socialized with other children" I scratched my head a bit.

He looked at me with a surprised face. I looked back at him with a hint of confusion.

"Ohh sorry, I just thought that we were the same" he said reluctantly.

"Ohh you too"

"What's your case? Strick parents?"

(His the first person at my age I don't hate answering questions to) "Nahh, just a busy daily life"

"Ohh, what do you do that is enough to spend your whole day doing it?"

"iroiro" I answered trying to avoid eye contact. (Because I've been doing a lot of things I don't enjoy doing. I will study to have a poker face and be able to have an eye contact even when I don't want to answer straight up) I was thinking at the spur of the moment.

"So, you are that busy everyday huh. Your not busy now?"

"I still have something to do but postponing it for just a few minutes won't be a problem"

His eyes widened "can I come with you?" he said excitedly.

I was caught of guard as I answered "iiyo"

I moved my body sideways and pretended I was looking at something behind (baka, why did you say yes without thinking) I thought while grimacing.

He was staying quiet that made me look back at him. He was smiling (is he waiting for me?)

"Sumanai" I apologized as I gestured where we'll be going.

In just a while, we arrived at a vacant lot near the training ground of the kingdom knights.

"Ahhmmm" I didn't know how to start a conversation, I don't even know his name yet.

He looked at me puzzled, then he looked like he realized something "Ohhh, my name is Aldawçy Allykyldy, you can call Aldawçy"

"My name is Yalyn Adamlar, call me Yalyn. your name is a bit hard to say. Can I call you Al instead?"

"Iiyo, I'll call you Adam then"

(Isn't that the father of all humans in my old world) I was going to ask him why, when I remembered my first name was too feminine.

"Ii ne" I answered with a smile.

"Are you sure Al, that your fine spending your time here? I won't be able to talk with you, I'm gonna train my swordsmanship"

"You train here?"

"I should come here in the afternoon then, starting from tomorrow"

I positioned myself in a stance and started training. After a while of watching me, he stood up while smiling then approached me.

He grabbed my shoulders "Do you want to be my training partner"

It wasn't a question, I was surprised by what he exhorted me on, but it was no problem with me.

(Shishou doesn't come early anymore to help me with my swordsmanship. The Knights haven't been training cause of the still on going investigation on the nobles. It doesn't sound so bad too) "Okkee"

"Splendid, I will have to go for now. I will come after lunch tomorrow. See you!" he said enthusiastically.

"His like a storm, we might have been doing similar things but our personality is a worlds apart" I continued my training.

The next day "Master, do you know someone named Aldawçy Allykyldy?"

"I don't know an Aldawçy, but I know the family noble Allykyldy. Baron Isleýän Allykyldy, he was just granted his Baronhood a year ago for defeating an Ogre King"

"An Ogre King!" master nearly fell from his chair when I shouted in surprise. So I waited for him before I continued what I was gonna say. He composed himself then lifted his tea cup to drink it, not to show his embarrassment.

"What's that?" I said.

He spat out the liquid he just drunk. He looked at me as if telling me (why did you shout in surprise if you didn't know what it was?)

I know what an Ogre is, I just wanted more explanation about why the Ogre is called Ogre King.

It seems that in this world, all monsters has a level of intellect. Depending on their intellect, their danger level is determined. Humans believe that monsters adopted the system the humans has developed in determining the leader and follower.

Monsters that can stand on two feet, are determined to have high intellect like Ogres, Orcs, Goblins, Lizardman etc., while monsters that are still on fours or more are low intellect.

Elves, Dwarfs and Lycanthropes [human that has animal feature, the other way around or mostly animal but can stand in two] are called demi humans. Only the Vampires is not determined by their race but by their individuality. If they see humans as to befriend with and to protect, they will be categorized as a demi human but if they see human as merely as a food resource, they will be hunted by a party that specializes in Vampire hunting.

Monsters adopted the human system but with lesser ranks; from lowest to highest, Worker, Leader, Soldier, Commander, Shaman, Shaman Commander and King. While the demi humans has more ranks than human, because of their prowess that humans do not have.

"Then what the Baron defeated is the Highest rank of an Ogre Colony?"

"Yes, we have 7 levels of danger in monsters. Natural, Hazard, Emergency, Calamity, Catastrophe, Cataclysm and God. The Ogre he defeated was an Emergency level monster"

"How do you determine them?"

"Natural is an everyday occurrence that can be solved by even commoners. Hazard is a possible human injuries and property damage. Emergency is as it says, it requires the humans to vacate a designated parameter." He brings out a map and drawn a circle. "This wide"

"Isn't that wide as a village?"

"You know how to read a map now, that's good"

"An adventurer at the Inn teaches me when I wait for mother"

"You should thank them, reading maps is a valuable knowledge"

He Circled a part of a map again as he continues "A calamity is a level that had already damaged an area as wide as a village and humans need to vacate a perimeter as wide as a city" he circled a bigger part.

"Catastrophe has already damaged an area as wide as

a city and need to evacuate the whole kingdom while the cataclysm is a damage to the whole kingdom"

"Just to make sure, this danger level means that a monster has a capability to create damage depending on the danger level given to them" I was trembling. (This world is dangerous, very dangerous, I thought that those danger level was only in the world of my idol slime)

"I won't criticize you, you are still a child of course" he patted my head.

"Then God level, how much powerful is God level?"

"The last one that was ranked as God level was the Spirit of Fire. From the day it has obtained intellect, it created distraction and continued to do so for six centuries until it mastered fire to the extent that he can't be defeated by the water spirit, he can even distort time and space by manipulating the temp of an area"

That caught me speechless (I can't be idling now, I have to find a way to up my level so that if ever anything happens, I will be able to protect my parents and survive)

"But we never know what could happen tomorrow. I just want to be strong enough to protect Mother and Father and be able to survive"

'You are still a child' I thought he whispered something

"Sorry, did you say something?"

"Nahhh, then we should train from today onwards with our all hahh"

"Then let us begin" he walked backwards to distance himself like what knights do before a duel.

(His presence changed, I will need to take this serious. I will still need to hide my ability just encase people watch us in the future, he will surely get mad if I suddenly held back when the time comes)

He then jumped towards me for an attack, I blocked him holding the hilt of the sword with both hands and moved to the right while he was sprung to the left. I was the one to attack next, I changed my stance, my right holding the sword while my left the scabbard of my sword.

He was cautious with my left that gave me more chances in attacking, I leveled my strength of attack to his strength of attack earlier. I stabbed to left that he dodged but I swung my sword fast to slash at his right at his waist that he blocked by holding his sword upside down to be able to put more strength on it.

"Where did you learn that stance?"

"From my teacher, she said that someone used it against her and she was to cautious to strike a determining attack"

"Well that stance is only usable to light sword holders, usually rapiers. But to use it while using a double edge sword, you have incredible strength"

(Did I accidentally showed my capability? yabai, yabai, nobody else knows my skills/title and strength other than shishou) I was panicking when I remembered that I already mastered lifting magic, it's not as convenient as gravity magic but it depends on the bearer.

"Ohhh, I didn't know that. But this sword I'm using is very light you know" I tried lying, I won't be able to let go of my sword around him anymore but it's better than braking my promise with Shishou.

We were at the masters office, shishou wanted to tell me something while she's waiting for master.

"You should never show your true strength around other people other than me, you understand?"

"Why?" I was sceptical (I'm so cool to reach this level at my age, that's what she said then why hide it)

"I thought you at a young age because I saw your raw potential just exerting throughout your body"

"Eii was I exerting a sent or body liquid"

He hit me on the head "baka, not that kind of potential" she coughed to bring us back to topic.

"Your mana was leaking through out your body. Even though you haven't trained yourself, it was already refined"

"What do you mean by refined, shishou?"

"All humans has mana, but it always starts rough, meaning, even though they can cast magic, they can't insert mana properly to cast it" I nodded as I wait fo her to continue.

She stood and took a glass of water. "Let's say that your mana container is this glass while the flow of mana is the water" I nodded again and came closer to her.

She shook the glass that made the water spill a bit. "When your magic is not refined, when you cast magic it's like your only shaking your mana container and you can only cast it with the spilled mana. But when your mana is refined, it's as if you can easily draw mana" she casted simple water manipulation magic and draw water from the glass.

She continued "It take years to refine magic, you have to acquire 'magician' to master your mana flow"

"Is mana flow and mana control different?"

"Mana flow is drawing your mana, while mana control is controlling how much mana is used in a certain magic spell. Fire ball" she suddenly casted a magic on her left hand.

"Fire ball" then on her right."Do you see the difference?"

"The one on the left is smaller while the right is bigger"

"This is due to mana control. For mana flow, when you cast a spell, their are instances that the magic dwindles before it reach it' target"

"When I trained you, I never expected that you would grow this fast that normally takes a human 10-15 years to reach. Not to mention, those knights who mindlessly thought you sword stances, they haven't even realized that you have already reached their level" she sighed of disconcert.

"You will surely grow stronger, but you shall never show anyone that you have mastered all of your swords stance and magic spells. You should only show that you are a novice to everything okay, there is a difference in acquiring the skill/title and mastering every single stance and spell"

"I understand shishou, untill when should I pretend?"

"You will officially master your stace when you turn 12 and your magic spell from elementary magician to magicians apprentice at the age of 18"

I showed a discontent expression.

"Even if we delayed it, you will still be viewed a genius. You are still free to learn more stances and magic spell but only in secret, do you understand?"

My face lighted up as I gestured of triumph.

"You have to make sure that nobody finds out, not until you reach saint"

"Why saint?"

"You will be able to defend yourself from anybody when that time comes"

"I understand" I only gestured to be excused and left.

I didn't take shishou's words seriously at that time, but when I learned the danger level of monsters and that some entities can reach a God level danger. I need to be cautious if I attract to much attention not only being framed will happen to me, I will be targeted constantly not only by human but by other races

He looked at me doubtful then he gestured for me to hand my sword to him.

"Hmm is this a training sword for kids?"

(Hahh what's that?) he noticed my reaction.

"You've been using it but you didn't know what it was" he laughed.

"What is it then?"

'I really am expecting to much from a kid' he was bowed down from laughing.

"Did you say something?"

"No, nothing" as he wiped his tears caused by his laughing.

(I was sure he said something like expecting to much)

He returned my sword before continuing "It's a sword for kids aspiring to be a knight but doesn't have enough strength to lift a normal short sword"

"Ohh this sword is?" who invented that sword I thank you for saving my ***, I lifted the spell and sheathed my sword.

"But don't worry, you have a good and strong swing. You should train your strength next so that you'll be able to use normal sword soon"

"Hmm I think I won't have a problem with using a normal sword, because I lift boxes everyday. I'll just have to adjust to it first, cause I got used to this swords weight"

"Lift boxes?"

"I work at a supply shop"

"Ohh, then who is your teacher?"

"It's Jady shishou"

"Jady? the court magician?"

"Yes"

"That's why you developed to this extent and reach your curren skill, the only possible teachers that could have thought you is either the Commander Grand Cross cause the Grand Cross is usually on an expedition or the Court Magician. But the Commander has no knowledge on magic, on the other hand, the court magician fights in all fronts. So I already expected it, but still I'm surprised that I was correct"

"Your really smart Al, shishou met me by chance at the shop and took a liking to me then offered me to be her student" I genuinely praised him but it also made me think that he might be like me. (Is it normal to meet someone whose from another world like me this easily) I thought while telling him a part lie about how I became shishou's student.

"Thanks. Can I train sometime with you when the court magician is around?"

"Sorry"

"No it's okay, I already knew the answer"

"No, it's not that. I'm not the only student shishou has. But he doesn't train multiple student at once"

"Ohh okay, if I can't train with you then never mind"

"But I could ask shishou if he could teach you"

"No, I want to train with you not be trained by your teacher"

"Are you sure?"

"Aa, let's continue then" I just nodded and continued our training.

Days passes as we continue to meet each other after my job and train.

Then months, I bring him from time to time now to my job when shishou has to leave the kingdom, he would bring some book of languages and we were able to learn Dwarfen, Elven and Lycanthrope. Because I train swordsmanship with him everyday, I train at home at the back of our shop every evening to advance my swordsmanship without him knowing. As we learn languages I obtain the skills Senior Swordsman and Magician in training without Al knowing, I am now on par with 2nd Class knights. But I only use the sword stance under swordsman when I train with Al.

Then years had passed. Shishou found out that I could already speak the languages of the demi humans and left books about Vampire, Ogre, Orc and Goblin Language. She told me that I could not tell anyone about it even to my friend, cause it is forbidden to talk to monsters.

(Then why learn them) I still studied them every morning before work.

Al and I are as close as brothers now, my parents knows him but he hasn't introduced me to his. He said that his parents are always busy, that's why he can roam around as much as he pleases.

For less than 6 years I have obtain, provost swordsman and then master swordsman without anyone knowing even shishou, because Al reached Senior swordsman, I informed him after a few months after him obtaining it that I also learned it. It was really hard work to guise my ability, I continue to master the stances under the two swordsman skills and only training the stances under senior swordsman when I'm with Al

While in magic, I have only obtained Magician, I'm in the middle of mastering water magic so that I can become a Water Master Magician, but am having trouble learning some of the magic without shishous help.

The years I've trained with Al, guising my true ability was still fruitful. Now that I'm 11 years old, it has accumulated to experience and it boosted my confidence when it comes to swordsmanship.

Sweat run down through our ***** body, due to summer heat, we have been training with our shirt off.

"Have you asked your teacher yet?" Al asked while wiping his sweat with a used shirt.

He told me that I should enter the school his going to attend. Institoúto Spathioú kai Mageías, it means Institute of Sword and Magic in Magic language.

"Not yet, shes currently busy with kingdom issues. That's also why I haven't gotten any better with magic"

"That's tough, you haven't advance in swordsman then even in magic" I hid my face as I wiped it (good thing in this world, it's natural that you learn some stances that aren't under your skill to learn a new skill or I might have been found out a long time ago)

I firmed myself and put on a worried look "I know, it's already getting frustrating" I reached out for a new shirt.

"Then, the more reason to enter the school"

"I understand. I just wish she comes to the shop soon"

We said goodbye to each other and went home. As soon as I arrived home, I heard my parents talking to shishou.

"Your sons abilities will go to waste if he doesn't go to the school, specially now that I'm always busy with my work. I won't be able to guide your son as frequently anymore"

"Your Grace, we understand what you mean. However, we don't have the ability to send him to a good school"

Till the age of fourteen, I ran away, experienced a lot of hard work and met a lot of people that never showed any concern to me. When I turned Sixteen, I learned that I could earn money with my hobby, I became a game tester, a NEET and an Otaku till the age of 26 and was struck by lightning.

"Of course, we're your parents" they said with a hint of confusion.

"That is why, I want to do my best for you. Onegai, let me go to the school to become stronger, to a point that no one would dare to do any harm on the both of you, ever again" I bowed down.

They looked at each other as they answered "How could we not grant you this, when we can see your determination"

I smiled and hugged the both of them.

After a few months, I have arrived at the front of the Institoúto Spathioú kai Mageías with Al for the first day of school. He was months older than me, but because my becoming of age will be after 5 months from now, I was still eligible to enter the school year.

Our clothes was half of a knights armor and half of a magicians robe, it was in the color of dark blue with a lining of purple and black that gives emphasis to the armor.

I was smiling from ear to ear while looking at the uniform, it was so cool that it shouldn't be just a school uniform.

"Are you ready?" Al said as he patted my shoulder.

I loosen my smile and look at him "Aa"

Al and I are now in the Assembly hall of the school, while the Principal of the school is explaining what the schools origin and goals are, but I was more intrigued on the collection of races here.

On my right, two rows from mine (Dwarves! Wow so they really are small, but not as small in books or mangas I've read. They look like dwarves but taller, hmm more like of those whom weren't blessed by height in my last world) as I examine some of them, I think one noticed me so I feigned like I was not looking at her but looking pass her.

(Good, she bought it. Now lets see the people beside them) It seems that we are in a row of 15 or so depending on our class year and race. Humans has 6 rows while the other races has less.

(Ohhh, different kinds of Lycanthropes) good thing the dwarfs are small, I can clearly see what kind of animal they are.

(They look so cool, specially the Lion guy. Ohhh, there's a white rabbit that looks like the girl in the anime I watched with 1000 episodes) the Lion guy noticed me and brushed his hair, but it looks like he was showing off his muscles. I then pretended to listen to the Principal again.

(What's wrong with that man, he would have looked cooler if he was more modest) I then looked at my left, pass 3 rows from me.

(Elves, Girl Elves! Now that is accurate, even though they are still young. That is voluptuous) I was feasting my eyes.

(Ikan, I shouldn't look like an old geezer, I need to be a gentleman. Good thing no one noticed) but I was naive, one of the elves noticed me.

After the opening ceremony, we were lead to the entrance of the building but we had to place our palm on a glass tablet so that all our skills will be registered. However

"May I take your name?"

"My name is Yalyn Adamler but I would like to be called Adam" she stood up, walked to my side and turned his back on Al and the others in the line.

"Adam-kun, my name is Dirildi, I'm a senior student at this school. I was asked to lead you to a private room, you haven't meet the faculty, Yes? It was suppose to be done before admission but because you were busy, as I was told. You will have to be interviewed before you can proceed to your class" she looked at me like, I should just go with the flow without anyone noticing.

"Ohh it's required, I wasn't informed. I should thank them for considering to accept me even though I wasn't able to come that day. Thank you very much for informing me, Senpai" I slightly bowed in thanks and was also relieved that I didn't need to show anyone what my skills are.

"No, you do not need to bow your head here, even though I'm a senior, we are all equal and its not a problem. No matter what your circumstance, as long as you have a great potential, you are welcome to our school"

"You are very kind and I'm not that talented, hahah" I scratched my head, a bit embarrassed.

"Let us proceed" she said as she pointed me where to proceed.

"Please everyone, give me a moment. I will just lead one of the students to a room, for evaluation. Thank you for your cooperation"

Some understood but some was complaining, I understand why and it's fine. We didn't go far, she just lead me to a hall and pointed the room I should enter.

"I will go back now, so that the other students will not point fault at you"

I was startled, cause I was nervous "Ahh yes, again thank you for your help, Senpai" this time I didn't bow.

"You have great manners, even though you are of a commoner" I was brought back to my senses and waited for her next words.

"Again, my name is Dirildi Umyt. I'm the vise president of the student council of this school. And you don't need to worry, me the president of the student council and some of the members of the faculty that you will meet are the only ones who knows of your social standing"

I looked at her with a poker face, she might have felt my doubt.

"Ahh it is required for us not to tell anyone. So you don't need to worry and we are not prejudice so please proceed to the room"

I just nodded and proceeded to the room, I'm both naive and cautious, that's why I haven't been in trouble in this life, other than the time the Earl had tried to frame my father.

'I will never again put my family at risk, I will do my very best to hide my talent and become the very best without anyone knowing' I whispered just before I entered the room.

Their were six people in the room, the one at the desk would be the Principal and (what!?)

"Shishou, what are you doing here!?"

"Your here, have a sit" she gestured to me to sit at the space beside her, ignoring my question. If that's the case then, I will understand as we proceed.

I just nodded and sat beside her.

"The man at the desk is Principal Bilim Ulumsylyk, while this man beside me is Pespäl Ulumsylyk the son of the Princial, he will be your room instructor at your class."

I stood and bowed. "Thank you very much for accepting me in this school even though you have no knowledge of my abilities, only by my shishou's information"

"The three from right to left is Salkyn Atmosfera, Gyzyl Agaç, Sagdyn Earther. They are also instructors in this school"

I bowed to them "It is a pleasure to meet all of you. It will be an honor to be guided by not only the instructors within this room, but also the other instructors who are now taking care of the other students"

They all just stayed serious as I sat down and the one who spoke first was the Principal.

"He is very well-mannered despite his social standing, you thought him well Jady"

"I didn't teach him anything other than magic, he had learned that from working at the Pul's shop"

Now they all looked surprised, doubting the possibility of learning manners only by working at a shop.

"May I speak" I asked.

"Yes" the principal approved.

"I have learned my manners by assisting customers, I do not offer my services depending on the social standing of our client. I treat them all equally and my Master Pul also had lended me some books where I learned the proper manners on assisting customers and nobles"

They were more surprised by what I said and even shishou looked at me with amusement (I forgot, since the day my family moved into the shop, shishou haven't stayed long enough to be able to observe my services to customers) but one of them seems to have not liked what I've said.

"So you put us nobles at the same level of your kind?" it was the man named Gyzyl, he smiled as if waiting for me to make a blunder of myself. He was wearing a very expensive looking garment and has a posture of someone who have lived with pride all his life as a noble.

The others were unable to speak back at him even the Principal, he might have a high position in the nobility if that is the case.

"Pardon me, Gyzyl Sensei if it might have sounded like that. No, it is the other way around. Us commoners are mostly treated with rudeness and always looked down upon. I who is born of a commoner understand this, that is why even though it's only in our shop and only by me, they will feel important, respected and treated as a customer as they should be"

He lost his smile and showed a slight frown, trying not to show it to the others in the room.

Salkyn sensei spoke next, she had a silky red orange hair and a very peaceful aura. She was wearing a humble but yet in the eyes of a merchant that knows all kind of silk, an expensive dress.

"Very well said, you are not only well mannered but also very considerate. I like you"

I tried my best not to get embarrassed being spoken with those words and smiled mildly "I really appreciate it if someone like yourself, Salkyn sensei who is also of noble standing from another country, likes my outlook in life" everyone looked alarmed except for shishou.

"How did you know?" she spoke in high defense.

"Ahhh, did I spoke out of line. I'm sorry, I know of the silk used for your dress.

It is a very rare silk from Zalez Skala Kingdom, it is made of Silkworm that only leaves on the side of the Cliffs of the kingdom. Not only are they hard to get from the cliff because of the danger in destroying the silkworms habitat but also the number of silkworm is very few. That is why to acquire it, it will surely cause a nobles fortune. For a teacher to wear such a luxurious garment just means you are from a noble family from that kingdom"

Shishou then tilted his head up and looked smug. (Why does she look like, she was the one who spoke)

"You are very well informed"

"About that, a merchant from your kingdom that had been robbed by bandits ended up at our shop entrance by chance.

He was very tired and his clothes were dirty, so I lended him a hand. After that, he shared some information about rare products that we could think of selling too, as thanks. Then after I washed his clothes, I found some part of it with that kind of silk and ask him why only parts of the clothes has it"

"It is also thanks to your outlook in life that you have acquired knowledge of products that is rare to acquire" I wasn't able to contain my embarrassment because of her complimenting my outlook again.

(But for them to be that surprise that I found out about it, there must be something behind her teaching in this school)

"So, is that enough measuring his capabilities?" Sagdyn sensei spoke.

I knew something was off when I saw shishous smug look.

Sagdyn Sensei stood and went closer to a bookshelf and took a glass tablet, the same us what the student president was asking the others to place their hand on.

"Now place your hand on this and we will know your complete status" he continued.

I looked at shishou and she looked back and confirmed to do it. (Is she sure about this, she said I shouldn't inform no one about it)

"May I speak with shishou for a moment outside" she was surprised.

"You can trust them, I've known them since I was a student here"

"I need to tell you something before I do it" she looked at the others and they just nodded.

We went outside and to make sure no one can here us, I also just whispered at her.

She was smiling smugly until I whispered 'I've already reached Master Swordsman and Magician, I've already mastered all stance and spells. Are you sure it's okay to let them know of it?' her smile slowly fades and she was like a running DVD with a scratched compact disk, as if running what I've said to her again and again in her head.

A moment passed, she looked at me shocked and shouted "Nani!!!"

"Shhhh" I calmed her desperately.

"Why haven't you told me?" her voice toned down.

"Can you blame me, your always busy so I had no excuse to Al when I needed to train my swordsmanship, so instead I trained at night. Then when you do have time, you just provided advise and don't want to speak too, except when you are teaching magic" she looked sorry but became sure.

"It's fine, it will just show how great your potential is" I just nodded and came inside and as soon as we sat, I placed my palm on the glass tablet. In just a moment, all my information was written on it.

They all suddenly stood up to look at it while the Principal was busy seeping his tea. They were skeptical but the Principal still stayed serene when he suddenly spoke.

"If you are not convinced then use another tablet" then Pespäl Sensei spoke.

"Father, you should take a look. He is farther than what Jady had said he was" then he stood and looked at it and he also made the same look as the others. He then took another glass tablet at the bookshelf, checked it for something before handing it to me.

I sighed, I set down the new tablet on the table and placed my palm on it. As they looked at it, only Gyzyl spoke.

"Is this why you looked so smug earlier?" he questioned shishou.

"Not really, I also just found out when we spoke outside"

"Does this child even needs to go to school here?" the principal said. But I was the one who spoke.

"I need to go to this school, I have been stagnant in my magic and haven't been able to master anything. I need your guidance to further my knowledge" I said as I bowed.

"Okay, let us sit" the principal said as he went back to his desk and he continued.

"Why are you in a hurry to advance your skills?"

I took a moment to find the right words "Do you remember the previous Earl Açgöz Zalym?" they all nodded.

"Before he and his family was banished to the suburb, he tried to frame my father of stealing. It was just because I have shown great potential and have taken notice from shishou and some knights" I didn't mention about his son anymore.

They all spoke in surprise to what they have learned, so I just continued.

"Shishou also told me about practices from other kingdom on abducting people with a great deal of mana. I just don't want to put my family in the same position again" they just looked at me with understanding.

"Then, their is no more word needed. You may proceed to your class, the vice president of the student council should be waiting at the entrance for you" Pespäl Sensei said. I only bowed to them for the last time and left.

"Isn't that child to mature for his age?" Salkyn spoke.

"You can't blame him, he has experienced the inequity of our society when he was just about to turn six years old.

When the men of the Earl broke in their house, he was the one who fought them without even letting his parents know of it" Jady revealed.

"What!" Gyzyl shouted in disbelief "what was his current skill at that time?"

"He was a Swordsman and a Magicians Apprentice"

He sat down and questioned himself.

"Then it is our duty to assist him" Salkyn spoke and they just nodded with a troubled face, even Gyzyl.

All the students were gone and just the Pres Dirildi was in the entrance.

"Let me send you to your room" she spoke without hesitation and walked.

It seems that this school even though they are very prestigious. There is only one room for each class year, with 20-30 students each. She explained as we walk.

(Then theirs 10 or more people with a different race on each year)

"Their is not a lot of people that has talent in both swordsmanship and magic, some even can only reach swordsman and magician apprentice even if they did all their best"

(Does that mean that the skills in this world are simple but harder to reach and master?)

We stopped at an open classroom. "This will be your classroom, you should be already informed who is your instructor, right?"

I just nodded, she gestured goodbye and left, so I entered the room.

"Adam, here! I saved you a sit" Al waved and pointed on the sit beside him.

I was gonna climb the stares to where he is when an Elf stood in front of my way, that made me stop just inches from him.

"You, lecherous boy. Why were you looking at the girls at our row earlier"

I smiled even though I can see disgust in his face "Please refrain from the harsh words, my name is Yalyn Adamler, please call me Adam" I moved backwards.

"I was not looking at the girls of your row, I was looking at all the races in the assembly. I admire other races that I wasn't able to hold myself on looking at all of the Dwarf, Lycanthrope and Elves.

I didn't know that all races are going to be in one room depending on their year, I thought we will be divided depending on races, cause I know that other races are superior to other qualities" I smiled at him innocently.

He was blushing and was taken aback by what I have said "th-then i-if you know your p-place, their is no problem" he went back to his sit, still flashed, so I proceeded to Al.

'Smooth' he said.

'Avoiding issues is a must' he only smiled with doubt.

Then Pespäl Sensei entered the room. He just introduced himself, took an attendance and started the class. It was about how to obtain skills, which I already know of.

'Can I nap, I already know what's being discussed. Wake me up when it's something new'

'Baka, don't sleep

'Demo...'

'If you sleep, I won't wake you up even if the instructor comes here'

'Tssk, fine'

Time went by and nothing new to me was discussed. Then we were instructed to go outside, for demonstration of our skill.

We were at the back of the school, a clear lot with targets and equipment for sword practice.

"You will come up front one by one, shout your name and skill, then provide the name of the stance and spell you will be demonstrating. First your magic then your stance. Understood"

One by one, my classmates demonstrated. Most only has the skill swordholder and elementary magic. Now I understand why the instructors and the Principal was shocked earlier and why shishou wanted me to conceal my skills. After 6 students, Al was called.

"Aldawçy Allykyldy, Current skills Magicians Apprentice and Senior Swordsman. Spell, Earth bind and Multi Slash"

Some of the students murmured.

'Isn't his skill already equal to those in 5th year'

'We're so lucky'

'Ah-huh'

After he finished chanting, multiple sphere like stone appeared and the dummy was in between, then he slashed the dummy 7 times in an instant. Not only the dummy but also the stones that binded the dummy was cut to pieces.

They screamed when he finished his demonstration and continued to murmur.

When he went back to where we seated 'You lady killer'

'What did you expect' how can he say that with a serious face.

'Hai, hai'

After another 3 Students the Elf girl I was looking at the Assembly was in front.

(Let's see her skill) She's really beautiful, her face isn't exaggeratedly beautified. It was simple but you can't help but stare and I think even if you stared at her everyday, you won't get tired of it

"Aý Yüregi, Current skill Magic Student and Sword defender. Lifting Magic and Push defend.

(Oi, oi. Shouldn't the elves be advance in skills specially in magic) I looked at Al and asked.

'Shouldn't the elves be more advance than us in skills?'

'What are you talking about, she's only the same age as us' I looked at her again puzzled then I asked Al how does the lifespan of elves work.

As she demonstrated, Al explained it to me.

It seems that the Elves lifespan doesn't work the same as what I have watched in animes and read in manga. They grow the same as humans till they reach the age of 18 which is the age of independency. After that they won't show any sign of aging even after hundred of years.

(Okay, this is making my head hurt. This world has to much difference in the world of manga, anime and games. I can't use my memory as guidance) I sighed.

'What is it?'

'Ohh nothing, I was just thinking if me going to this school will be worth it'

He hit me on the head.

'Aawww what's that for?'

'Don't judge the school by the students skills, it's only our first day'

'Aa, sumimasen Al'

After another 11 students, the guy who stopped me earlier was called. I got curious and paid more attention to his demonstration.

"Asman Yüregi, Magicians Apprentice and Senior Swordsman. Water Prison and Flash"

(Ho-hoh his better than expected) I don't know why but it irks me.

"Aý, what's your relationship with Asman"

That took my attention (right, she has the same surname as Asman)

"His my twin"

"Ehhh you don't look alike"

"Hahah, I know but his really handsome right?"

"We don't doubt that, but his to aloof"

"His just shy around girls"

"Ohh a late bloomer"

"Aloof is fine, his cool that way"

He suddenly coughed while chanting as they chuckled and he became flashed up to the tip of his ear. But he continued his chant.

'Will you get mad at me if you suddenly learned that my skill is ahead of you?'

'Why would I?'

I looked at him just to make sure that his truthful as he continue.

'I won't even be surprised, Because you train more than me'

'Well maybe a bit, cause you hid it from me but not much that I would fight with you' he smiled.

Asman finished his chanting, the moment a sphere of water completely formed and imprisoned the dummy, he was already behind it and slashed not only the dummy but also the water prison vertically in half.

The girls screamed louder than how they screamed at Al.

'Tssk' he looked at me then looked at Asman and realized something.

'You know what, I won't even get mad at you, if you show that Elf his place'

"Nani?" Everyone looked at me even Asman.

I smiled awkwardly then looked at Al.

'It irked me when the girls shouted louder for him' he smiled with annoyance.

(kowai, kowai-o. I have to make sure, I never annoy him)

"And lastly, Yalyn it's your turn" we were at the very back so I heard what the girls was saying as I walk towards the front.

'His name is so feminine'

'Aa, the others said that he was sent to the principal due to him not showing up at the school interview'

'Oohhh a delinquent?'

'Nahh the student vise president said that he had something to attend to at that time but because his talented, they still accepted him'

'Hmmp or his family just paid the school to look the other way around'

'Shh he might here you'

(Ahh I heard all of it) I wanted to tell them that I'm a commoner and don't have the money for it but there is no need, they will see it through my abilities.

I smiled as simple as I could. "Yalyn Adamler, as you know my first name is to feminine. Don't get me wrong I love the name my parents gave me but please call me Adam. Magician in training and Provost swordsman"

Pespäl Sensei eyes me as if telling me 'what the hell are you doing' but I ignored it and continued. And all my classmate murmured except for Al who looked satisfied and Asman with dissatisfaction.

"I'll be demonstrating thousand needles and sword flow. Many won't understand the sword flow, but if its used in live combat, it let's you read the movement of your enemy and easily avoid it with grace. Please watch carefully"

I activated the thousand needles. Countless water drops appeared around the dummy and suddenly became water needles and pierced it that almost destroyed it.

"Uso, chant less activation" I can't really see their reaction but by just that comment I can already imagine it.

Then I slowly walked to the dummy, an after image can be seen behind me like a water flow, I was already close to the dummy when I unsheathed my sword and slowly moved around the dummy as I slash it slowly.

"It's graceful yet scary" one said.

"That's overkill" a human boy said.

"Who do you think made his sword, with his moves, an ordinary sword can't withstand it" a dwarf said.

"One is sure, he is crazy strong and him being here means he hasn't reached his limit yet" Asman was the one who said it.

Everyone suddenly fell silent. I walked back and I was almost at the back row when I spoke.

"Yes Asman, I haven't. But I envy you cause you have a long life, I might die without reaching my dream but you, you have the potential to be the strongest"

He frowned in displeasure and walked out, even Aý looked disappointed and followed Asman.

"What was that, I was honestly envious of their long life" I asked Al.

Another Elf approached me and Al, she spoke with us without letting the other students hear.

"Elmydama Dost, call me Elmy" she introduced herself and sat in front of us and continued.

"Don't mind it to much, we know you don't mean to offend. It's just, their father died 13 years ago when they were still in their mothers womb.

Weeks after she gave birth to them, she killed herself because of her long life. She couldn't accept that she had to wait hundred of years or even thousands before she can reunite with his husband, so rather than waiting for her death, she killed herself and left her children"

(Now I understand, even if they know I didn't mean it, anyone will get mad at a thoughtless comment)

"Arigato, I really appreciate it that you told me"

"Don't mention it, just make sure you apologize to them"

"You don't have to tell me cause I definitely will"

"Okay everyone, I have finished recording your results. You may take your break, the bell will ring when it's time for you to go back to the classroom. And Mr. Adamler, you are to come to my office after you take your break, understood"

(Ouch, I thought he already left)

Instead of taking a break I tried to find the Yüregi siblings, when I arrived at a garden beside the school. Aý was walking towards me alone.

"Aý, can I speak with you?" she stopped and faced me.

"Did the others tell you?"

I nodded "Don't get mad at them, they just wanted me to apologize to you both because of my thoughtless remark"

"It's okay, a lot of people are envious of our long life not only humans"

"I still want to apologize so let me. Hontōni gomen'nasai" and bowed to her.

"No, you don't have to go that far. It's really okay"

"Thank you, can I ask where Asman is?"

"His in the middle of the garden. But it's better if you left him alone first"

"No, I don't want to drag this longer. I really need to apologize as soon as possible or I won't get any sleep" she chuckled.

"You are an odd person, with your talent and looks. You are pretty modest"

"Thanks, I will go now. I'll see you in the class"

"My brother is stubborn so just be patient with him" I nodded.

The garden was beautiful, (I can't believe something like this can be done. It's more beautiful than the gardens I've seen in magazines at my previous world)

After a while, I think I've reached the center of the garden and saw Asman sitting on the grass lawn looking at the sky. Hhmmm he does look handsome, even though his face is side viewed from where I'm standing, he looked like the models I watched on TV.

"Asman"

He looked at me with surprise, he stood up and was about to leave.

"Wait, I wanted to apologize"

"They told you didn't they?"

He asked while his back facing me.

"Mm"

"Tssk, those nosy elves. Don't they even know privacy, it's not for them to tell to just anyone."

"I know. But they just wanted me to apologize to both of you and your sister, but I won't be able to sincerely apologize if I don't know anything" he just stayed silent.

"Hontōni, Hontōni gomen'nasai" and bowed even though he can't see it.

Then I heard a sword being unsheathed. I peaked at what he was doing while I was bowed down.

If I was slower, I would have been cut to half. He jumped towards me with incredible speed and attempted to slash my body. I blocked his attack and pushed him back.

"What is your problem. If I didn't looked at you, you would have killed me"

"If you died, it was your fault. You have the skill but you don't have the experience, that's just it"

He attacked again, now on my right side, no to my left. I barely dodged that.

"What's that stance"

"It isn't a sword stance, it's magic enhancement. I enhanced my maneuvering and was able to side step faster"

"Why would you use that against me at this circumstance"

"I don't accept that you are ahead of me, I will get stronger and show you your place"

I was still speechless when he sheathed his sword and walked pass me, I heard him say in a whisper.

'Thank you for apologizing'

He was already far ahead when I turned around to face him.

(What a troublesome guy)

"Why am I reincarnated in this troublesome world and now I meet this troublesome guy" I only sighed as I sheathed my sword and also left.

I headed to Pespäl Sensei. He scolded me so hard, I think my ears almost shattered. Their was nothing that can be done anymore but to make sure that no one finds out my true capabilities. He had sent me back to the classroom after he drilled what I should do from now on.

When I entered the class, I walked towards my sit. As I passed by where Aý is, she looked at me as if asking if I was able to apologize to Asman. I just nodded at her and smiled.

"Did you already make up?" he asked smiling, why does his tone insinuating something.

I just looked at him.

He changed his tone and lose his smile.

"I said did you already made up with Mr. walk out"

"Ohh Asman. Yeah we did, demo"

"Demo-?" he was waiting for me to continue.

'He suddenly attacked me and claimed that he doesn't accept me being ahead of him' I whispered to him.

Al just laughed. "What a very amusing person"
