I always work hardest and give my best in everything my parents want .

They want me to top every exam .I do it .Always.

But they never give the credit for that.They don't ever show a slightest proudness for me .

Instead they always compare to me to my elder sister.They always make me small from my sister.

They don't know how hard is it for me.My sister is an somewhat more intelligent than me ,so she get more marks than me in every exam.

Also she is good at sports .But I am not .So she got a lot of praises for that.

She was an extrovert ,so she was have many friends and interact well with teachers.

It was different for me.I was an introvert and hardly had friends and interact with teachers.

My sister was perfect .So my parents also expect for me to be perfect.

But how can I make them understand I am really tiring my best?

One day,when I was in 8th class I was having difficulties in maths ,so I said to them for having tutor for maths

I thought it was related to study so they will let me do it .

But I was not allowed .They said my sister was don't have any tutor when she was in 8th grade .So I should also not have .

I was really shock .I realize that day that my parents want me to do whatever my sister do.

How ....I mean how can I make them understand that I was not my sister but I am me .

In 8th grade ,even though I didn't have tutor .But I tried my best .Without sleeping ,eating and forgetting to play ,I studied hard.

I top again.But all I get was a cretizim. My sister again get more marks.I really was sad.

Even though ,my parents compare my sister with me .I never hate her.It seems I like my sister very much.

She always comfort me after my parents scold me .

But the biggest thing happen was in 10th grade ,last year.

I was not able to top .I was always in second place.

I tried my best after the first exam .But the my competitor always defeat me.

I got a lot of scolding in that year .

In final exam,I again placed second .My parents scold me as always.

But that day,I really got angry .I for the first time,talked back to my parents .I said that I do really hard .Why they don't ever see my hard work?I studied without a break.I cried really hard that day .My sister comfort me .

I thought now they will understand my problem.But they did not .They said I am a cry baby .They didn't scold me very much.And the time I study is not much .

That day I understood that they won't look at my hard work .

So from that day ,I promised that I should be very much strong .Never cry .

I much study hard and show them that I can top my sister.Not for receiving there compliment but for showing I can.

Now ,I am my school gate.I went in.

I saw the notice board and went there .I caught my name in it and I got my class section.

I search the room and finally I found it .

I open the door and work in .I went to the last bench and sit there.

The class was really noisy .I look at the window and wait for the teacher to come .

After some minutes ,the teacher came and the classroom became quiet.All went to there own place .

The teacher introduced herself .She seem somewhat strict but a professional.

She call our name for today's students that came school.

The teacher call the name,"Sophia".The students turn their head here and there to see who that name owner.

And I raised my hand and said,"Present".

The students express their expression as they now note down my face and my name in their head .

The teachers call another name and all the students continue to note down their new classmate names and memorizing their faces.

While the teachers calling name and the students homework of memorizing the name and face,a bag flew through the window.

It was threw so slowly .So when it land in the floor ,it doesn't make any noise.

I was looking at the bag and then suddenly a human pop out of the window.

I was really surprised and was going to scream but he jump quickly from the window and press his hand in my mouth to stop me from shouting.

I look to him .And I thought of nothing but that he is handsome.

He was a really handsome guy .I stared him without blinking a second .

He release her hand and said,"Please don't shout".

I regain my consciousness when he talked and nodded my head to his request.

He looked relief by my action and quickly pick his bag and sit to the bench beside me.

I look at him and thought,"He much be the type of students who cause trouble".

He sense my stare and look at me and smile.

I quickly turn my head and my face get red as tomato.

'He is dangerous'.

The teacher finish calling names and look around the room .Then a second later ,she frown as if she saw something unusual.

She speak,"Lewis,you were not present when I was calling .How did you happen be here?"

At her saying,I look around to see who Lewis is.Not only me some students were also looking .Some were looking in the last row .So I thought that they must know him and I follow their direction .

The guy happen to the window jump handsome .He was smiling awkwardly.

He said,"Sorry teacher please pass this since is the first day .I will come in time from tomorrow."

By his talking casually ,he seems to know him.Maybe the teacher teach him in grade 9.

The teacher said,"Lewis,you always came late in previous grade too.You think I would let this pass like other time .No way .Stand outside the classroom until next period".

She really was angry.I thought I see a lionness in her.I slivered in fear.

The window jump handsome guy stand up anxiously and said,"Please let this slide.I will....

Before he can continue the teacher cut his word and said,"No excuse ,my boy.Please stand there enjoying the scenery. "

She was smiling while saying that .I thought, "I should never offend her."

The window jump handsome guy sign and leave the room.He was looking helpless as if he didn't do anything.But for your information he did .Coming late in class .

I look at his back while he was leaving .

The teacher started the class by introducing herself.She lectured the whole period.

Since it was the start of school ,I knew there today some subject would not start.

Well the period was finished ,the teacher gave her farewell for today.The window jump handsome guy came inside.He was tired .

I thought ,"Why would not?He stand there for 40 minutes."

I pick up my consciousness and focus on the book I plan to read while waiting for the next teacher to come .

The guy came and sit in his place and a guy who sit in front of him began to talked .

"Why didn't you come a little early?"

"I woke up a little late."

"I knew it.Cone early next time."

From their talking ,seems like they are friends.

Then a girl sit in front of me said,"Hey,why do you make trouble for yourself?"

I look up and see who she's asking .It was the window jump handsome guy.

He said,"Its not like I want to ."

The girl said,"Please be a dignified student ,sir."

"Ok ok"

Well ,I was looking at them talking and suddenly the girl ask,"What your name?"

I turn my head to her and said,"Me?"

"Yes"

I didn't turn my head but I could sense the eyes of two people sitting near me.

It was troublesome .

I introduce myself,"I am sophia."

The girl said,"Ah ,Sophia!The second topper of last year grade."

I noded .I was not surprised since rank was announced on board . The students would eventually know the name of students of top 1 to 5.

She said,"Wow ,I always wanna be friend with a intelligent .My name is Irene .Lets be friend. "

She lend her hand .I took her hand and we shake our hands.

"Sure."

While that situation ,a voice came .

"Wow ,Lewis look .Irene is making a friend for the first time."

Irene said with anger at the voice,"Why can't I?I can have a girl friend besides you guys."

"Yeah yeah you can.It is just that you can't be the only one making friend ."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean that I have to become friend with your new friend."

Then he said to me,"Hi I am Arwin .Nice to meet you ."

"Nice to meet you too ."

Then another person said,"Since you too made her friend ,I have to made her ."

Irene said,"Huh you too."

"I am Lewis.Thanks for earlier."

"No need .I just lend a help."

Irene said,"Next time ,Sophia don't help him."

Lewis,"Irene ,it is her chose if she wanna help me."

Then they start bickering.

Somehow I was happy that I made friend in this year.I was looking forward to it.

After some periods ,now is the time for break. After the teachers went out of classroom ,the students headed outside classroom. Some stayed inside.

I was tying my desk and go to cafeteria .

"Hey ,are you going to cafeteria? If you are ,then lets go together."

At Irene asking ,I nod .

"Ok ,then let go.I am hungry."

Arwin said to Irene with a cute face.

"Ok .The last one to reach cafeteria will have to buy."

Irene start running after saying that .Arwin also start running .

I look at them and thought it was so cute so I ending up smiling.

"Aren't they childish?" Lewis ask.

"No ,I don't think so.Its it great to play like this with your friend."

"Yeah ,its great.Do you also wanna race?"

"Huh ......no .If you are hungry ,then you can go first."

"I was kidding .Lets go .They will be waiting."

"Yes."

When we reach cafeteria ,they were already sitting having food.

"Go to them .I will bring the food."

"No ,I will bring it.You can go to them."

"If I let you ,I will be scold by Irene that I let her new friend bring food.Do you want that?"

"Will she really scold?"

He nod his head.

"Ok .You can bring it."

"What you wanna eat?"

"Anything."

"Ok ,then sit there."

I nod and head to Irene and Arwin.

They notice me and Irene said,"Where is Lewis?"

"He said he will bring the food."

"Ah ,that great .Let him do more work ."

I laugh at her.

She continued, "Did you join any club?"

"No ,I haven't ."

She happily said,"That's great .Join the club ,i am joining."

"What club?"

"It is painting club."

I was trouble by when she said painting .I didn't said anything.

"You will ,right?", she said with full expectation.

I hesitate," I -

Lewis came and said,"Hey Irene,leave her .She may have a club ,she want to join."

"Ah....I didn't thought about that .Sorry." Irene apologize.

"No ,I don't any club in mind."

"Really ,then lets join." she again said with full expectation.

Can't stand her ,I said,"Ok ,I will."

"Yes that's it." she was really happy.

Lewis said,"Don't join any club for someone.Join the one you like."

"I also like painting."

"Ok then."

"If irene join painting ,then what club are you in?"

Arwin said,"Lewis and I are in basketball."

"Lewis is good in it but Arwin is average."

Irene said picking a fight with her word.

"Hey ,how can you compare me with him.I am good than other even though not with Lewis."

I turn to Lewis and asked,"Are you really good?"

"Yes ,I am .Do you want to see?"

"Look at his proudness.I will one day defeat you."

"Yeah yeah."

They were bickering. It was really great to have this kind of friends.

Irene said,"Let's finish eating and go to club to take the form,Sophia."

"Um....ok."

'Will it really be ok to join painting club?What if mom and dad don't allow me?'

I was pounding in thought that I didn't notice Lewis was looking at me.

After eating lunch ,I go to took the form with Irene .

Now school was finish and we were ready to leave school .

At the gate

"It's a pity ,we are going opposite direction ."

Irene said making a sad face.

"Don't be upset .We will meet tomorrow."

I said making irene happy again .

"Ok then bye ."

"Bye "

I bid them and start going .It was a day ,I was surprised since I successfully made friends.

Since I don't talk much ,no one want to be friend with me .

I was happily walking and I heard a voice.

"Sophia ,wait."

It was Lewis .He was running towards me.

I stop walking and wait for him.He was small looking from far away but he was getting bigger when he was closer to me.

"Why are coming this way ?Its you home in the opposite one?"

I was confused.He look at me with a smile and said

,"I have to buy something from a store in this direction. "

"Oh,then let's go together ."

"Um"

We started walking .We didn't talk anything .I was suffocate at the silence .

I tried to speak first.But he ask.

"Are you having trouble?"

I was confused.

"No I don't."

"I thought you are having trouble about club.Since you like you were."

I was surprised .'Was I really obvious?'

"I know that we knew only today but we are now friends .So if you have any trouble just say.I no we will listen to it."

I was touched .No one said that to me .I hesitately said,"My parents are strict .So anything outside the academics things are not allow easily.So I don't know that they will let me join in the club."
