Grant Lowell who was mistreated, abused and neglected since he was born was known as the "Nightmare Prince" and was merciless to everyone and everything.
One day after he was attacked by assassins, he hides in a small cabin looking for safety, unknowingly the cabin belonged to Ellie Bosna who believed the rumors and was terrified of Grant.
Overwhelmed with him bleeding, she still decides to bandage his wounds and allows Grant to stay where she lives. Which is how Grant fell in love with her and her kindness
Karsyna and Puiska almost at war, Scott Lowell decides to hold a party for peace and invites the royal family of Puiska. After threatening Ellie to go with him, Grant enters the party which is where Brayn sees and falls in love with Ellie at first sight.
Brayn and Ellie fall in love that night causing Grant to get jealous and more possessive of Ellie and making her even more scared.
Brayn using the threat of war against Scott, says the only thing that will make him not start a war is if Marries Ellie.
Desperate for peace, Scott agrees which causes Grant to lose it. Kidnapping Ellie on her wedding day, he vows to love her, but she threatens to kill herself, leaving Grant no choice, but to give her to Brayn.
Enraged, Brayn accuses Grant of illegal activity and pays for false witnesses. The guards catch Grant when he brings Ellie back and throw him in the dungeon.
Brayn tortures Grant and sentences him to be killed. On his death day, he sees his father watch him emotionless and Ellie upset, but not crying. Right before he shut his eyes, he saw his father smile as Brayn called for his execution to be done.
Ellie marries Brayn and becomes the princess of Puiska and Scott never regret killing his son who killed his wife.
