2011-2012 national tournament

In Hyogo prefecture, a top school behind Inarizaki has never gone past the finals.. last year, Takayama was matched vs Itachiyama.. Takayama was defeated with a score of 25-19

So in the next year.. the coach of Takayama recruited top players in middle school to finally win a championship.

2012-2013 national tournament

Lets say Takayama won vs Sarukawa Tech, and Nekoma still hasnt played a team yet, and later on, Inarizaki beats Karasuno. As the 2nd day ends... the coach of Takayama named Oda Takahashi says

Coach Oda: Our match up tomorrow is Inarizaki, the only thing you should know is how to determine is Atsumu will do a Jump float or a jump serve. He takes 4 steps if he does a jump float serve and he takes 6 steps to do a jump serve. Understood?

Seijun raises his hand as he calls out coach, and coach asks him "Yes?", Seijun says

Seijun: What about that Rintaro Suna guy?

Coach Oda: If you were to block him. . . Just move you arm to the place he's about to spike it

Seijun: Yes coach

Coach Oda: Any more?

. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Coach Oda: None? Okay, go to sleep so your energy will be alot tomorrow.

So all of them go to sleep and prepare for tomorrow. The next day, they go to the arena where the first matchup was Takayama vs Inarizaki. They then go to where their court was, as they arrived at Court A, Takayama immediately warms up before Inarizaki.

Takuya: Everyone! Lets start warming up!

Keisuke: Oi, why are you the one doing that |:)

Takuya: Heheheh, uh, I just want to know how it feels to do that.

Keisuke: Oh, Okay.

They then practice spiking... later on Inarizaki arrives.

Keisuke: Okay, lets go back and prepare for the match

So all of them prepare for the match... later on the announcer says

Announcer: HELLO EVERYONE! This is the 1st match of the 3rd day, Takayama High school vs Inarizaki High! .. first, we'll introduce the Inarizaki starters: Number 4, ace, Ojiro, Aran. . Number 5 wing spiker, Ginjima, Hitoshi. . Number 10, Middle Blocker, Suna, Rinataro. . Number 11, wing spiker, Miya, Osamu. . Number 7, setter, Miya, Atsumu and their coach, Norinume, Kurosu Now, lets introduce the Takayama starters! Number 1, wing spiker, Obi, Keisuke. . Number 4, ace, Sakai, Takuya. . Number 7, Libero, Ishikawa, Akio. . Number 8, Middle Blocker, Nakajima, Seijun. . Number 14, wing spiker, Ichibangase, Sengoku. . Number 2, setter, Zaizen, Hotaru, and their coach, Amajiki, Hanamichi, and thats all folks. Now, THE MATCH FINALLY BEGINS!

The match begins of Takuya serving... he does a powerful jump serve.. Akagi then receives it, the ball goes to Atsumu as he serves to Aran.. as Aran was about to spike, Hotaru, Seijun and Sengoku try to block him, Aran spikes it succesfully and scores... Seijun thought..

Seijun:(Such power.)

The server for Inarizaki is now Atsumu, he takes 6 steps to do a jump serve. Atsumu spikes the ball heading to Akio... Akio receives the ball... the ball goes to the setter, Hotaru, with the height of 183 cm... he could toss high sets for... Takuya. As Hotaru sets the ball to Takuya... Suna appears right in front of Takuya.. Takuya then puts alot of strength in his left hand to spike but as his hand was about to spike, he did a feint. . . Akagi then was about to dive to receive the ball but fails. Next server is Seijun, he's a middle blocker with the height of 189 cm cm, he has a very high vertical for a middle blocker, good reaction time, speed and good serving skills.

Seijun:(I'm sorry, receivers, but there might be a chance that I'll break your wrists..)

Seijun then does a jump serve

Inarizaki fan:(Middle Blocker? Doing a jump serve?!)

Inarizaki fan#2:(What the hell?!)

Seijun then spikes the jump serve as Aran receives it BADLY, the ball the goes out of bounds. Next serve was still Seijun, but Seijun thought.

Seijun:(They've probably adjusted to my jump serve.. after all, The Miya twins and Aran were my former teammates after all, Tch, dual wielder my ***, best to do an underhand serve)

Sengoku: BRING EM NICE SERVE, SENPAI!

Takuya: Give them a good one, Sei

Seijun then does an underhand pass, the ball goes really high up the air... Akagi looks uo but his eyes were blinded by the lights... As the ball went down, it hit Akagi's hands and falls, Daichi and Karasuno were watching from the sides, Daichi thought

Daichi:(That just looks like what happened to me vs Tsukibahara.)

Next server was still Seijun, he then thought..

Seijun:(I'll just do another jump serve.)

He then does a jump serve, Osamu receives the ball going to Atsumu, Atsumu sets the ball to Suna.

Seijun:(This guy... He twists his body to spike of there is a blocker in front of him! Well, I know what I've got to do.)

Seijun then jump to try block Suna, Suna then twists his body to spike, Seijun then mives his right arm to block the ball and he blocks it succesfully.

Announcer: WOOOOOW! Nakajima, Seijun has blocked Suna, Rintaro's cross shot!

As they land, Suna says

Suna: Well, your on my shutdown list.

Seijun: *pushes glasses* Try and try and you'll see the results. . Suna.

Suna:(This guy..)

The mext server is Keisuke..

Keisuke:(Time to shine..)

He then does a jump serve.. it goes to Atsumu... Osamu then sets the ball to Aran.. Sengoku, Hotaru and Seijun try to block Aran but Aran breaks the block, Akio then receives the ball going to Hotaru, Hotaru then sets to Keisuke, as Keisuke is about to spike, Gin amd Omimi try to block him but Keisuke has gathered lots of strength and he spikes the ball, he spiked it so hard that it sounded like a shotgun shot.

Keisuke: Don't get to cocky.

Omimi: Tch.

Keisuke is still the server and does another jump serve, Akagi receives it as Atsumu sets to Osamu, Seijun is trying to block him and he succeeds on blocking Osamu.

Announcer: THERE HE GOES AGAIN!, HE NOW BLOCKS OSAMU MIYA!

The server now is Sengoku, he then does a jump float. The ball is then received by Gin and then the ball goes to Atsumu, he then sets to Aran. Aran then spikes the ball amd scores.. Coach Oda then calls a timeout..

At Timeout, Coach Oda sees all of then exhausted..

Coach:(There already tired, with Inazaki's lead score of 10-17, these four have reached their limit... Seijun looks fine though, so I'll kee him and sub the rest of them.) Sub in: Higasa, Tsukumo, Hasashi and Kawasaki, Sub out: Ichibangase, Obi, Zaizen and Ishikawa..

So all the subbed in players go in with Seijun.

Reiji Higasa: Finally, our time to shine.

Yuji Tsukumo: Yeah, Ithought I'd sit out the whole game.

Yasuhiro Kawasaki: I could finally do the play I'd want to try this game.

Shuji Hasashi: Me to.

Seijun: Everyone, lets try and focus on the game... and lets have a bit of fun.

Reiji: ALL RIGHT!

Shuji: Lets go!

Episode 2: Off the court special

In a very special and winter day, weeks before Nationals, Keisuke invites everyone from the Takayama team to play a pickup volleyball game at a court near Keisuke's apartment in Miyagi, later on they all arrive as Keisuke says

Keisuke: All right, me and Takuya will be team captains by each side, score to win is 15 points, as captain I pick first.. so I pick Akio.

Takuya: I pick Seijun.

Keisuke:(Dammit), I pick Izana.

Takuya: I'll go with... Sengoku.

Keisuke: I pick Hotaru.

Takuya: Hmm, Imma go with Yasuhiro.

Keisuke: I'll pick Shuji.

Takuya: Imma pick Junichiro.

Keisuke: Final pick is Yuji

Takuya: Mine is Reiji

Keisuke: Okay! Team lets roll

Takuya: Lets go.

The two teams then get ready, the captains play rock paper scissors to decide to serve first, Takuya wins as he puck Seijun to serve first. Seijun then prepare to serve, he then thought.

Seijun:(I'll just go with my left hand.)

He then switches to his left hand

Akio:(This guy, he never told me that he can do a left hand serve.)

Hotaru:(His left is his dominant hand too?)

Seijun then Spikes it, as Akio receives it the ball goes out of bounds..

So next serve, Seijun thought.

Seijun:(Man, this won't be fun, I'll just go back to my right hand.)

As Seijun spikes it, Hotaru receives it, The ball then goes to Izana, he then thought

Izana:(God dammit, I'm not a setter but I've been practicing with Hotaru, so I'm confident right now)

Izana tgen sets to Keisuke, as Keisuke spikes it, Reiji receives it, he then says.

Reiji: Wow! What an amazing spike

Izana:(Huh?)

Just now, Oikawa was just passing by with Iwaizumi and Kindaichi.

Oikawa: Aren't those guys from Takayama?

Iwaizumi: Yeah.

Mattsun: Ya wanna watch?

Oikawa: Yeah sure.

Iwaizumi: Okay.

The three of them then sit dowm amd watch them play... it was the end of the first set, all the players were rehydrating and refreshing.. Keisuke then sees Oikawa and says.

Keisuke: Oikawa-senpai.

Oikawa: Ah, Keisuke-Chan.

Akio: Wait your his senpai?

Keisuke: Yeah, from middle school. I went to Kitagawa dai chi.

Takuya: Why dodn't you tell us that?

Keisuke: Heheh, I just forgot to tell you.

In a coincidential turn, the Karasuno players were all hanging out passing by the volleyball court, Kageyama then sees Keisuke talking to Oikawa and thought.

Kageyama:(Keisuke-san and Oikawa-san?)

Kageyama then tells all of the Karasuno players.

Kageyama: Hey, can we watch them play?

Daichi: Yeah sure.

The Karasuno players then go in the court..

Keisuke: Kageyama-Kun!

Kageyama: Good afternoon, Keisuke-San.

Hinata: Wait you know him?

Kageyama: Yeah, he's my senior in Kitagawa dai chi.

Tsukkishima: Well good for you

Daichi: Watch your mouth, Kei

Keisuke: All right, lets continue the second set

Ennoshita: Second set?

Kageyama: Well, I guess we missed the first

Kageyama then looks to his left and sees that Keisuke lost against Takuya.

Kageyama:(What the?! I thought Keisuke was the best middle school spiker, he could break any block with his spike.)

So the second set starts as Seijun serves again. He thought..

Seijun:(I think should go with my left again.)

He then switches gears.. Hinata then says.

Hinata: Whoa, what was that?

Kageyama: I watched him during a practice match vs Sarukawa Tech, then guy in The glasses could switch gears from right hand to left hand.

Sugawara: Really?! So cool

Daichi: So we don't know how he will switch gears?

Asahi: Looks like it.

Kageyama: Sad to say but yes, its just best to be ready.

Daichi: Damn.

Tanaka: Thats cold, Kageyama.

Nishinoya: I agree.

Seijun then spike the ball, Akio then receives it perfectly.

Akio: YOSHAAA!

The ball then goes to Hotaru, as the ball goes to him, Hotaru says

Hotaru: C-quick: Parallel!

Then all the other four players except the Libero run in a parallel line.. Front right, Keisuke. Back right, Izana and Front left, Shuji. Back left, Yuji... Hotaru tuen sets to Izana, as Izana spikes in Reiji receives it and says

Reiji: JUNICHIRO!

Junichiro: Right

He then does spike pose the ball, Izana then tries to block him but Junichiro then immediately changes to a set position and sets it to Yasuhiro... as Yasuhiro spikes it, Keisuke and Yuji try to block it and they block it but Takuya went quick feet mode and receives it.

Takuya: SENGOKU!!

Sengoku then jumps from the back line and spike the ball succesfully... so the game goes on as Takuya has gained a 2-0 victory..

Oikawa: Ah impressove performance, Keisuke.. and you too Takuya, Seijun, Reiji and Sengoku..

Hinata: I wish to have a match with you on the future!

Keisuke: We wil, hopefully

2012-2013 national tournament, 2nd day: Inarizaki vs Karasuno, Inarizaki wins

Karasuno goes to where Takayama waits.. Daichi says

Daichi: Win for us tomorrow vs them.. Keisuke..

As Oikawa was watching through his phone.. he then calls his teammates to watch tomorrows matchup in Court A.
