The Ash household

"What do you mean I'm getting married in 5 days!?" Mia shouted after hearing the shocking news. Mia is the young madam of the Ash house hold who lives with her widow mother and her grandfather who is the CEO of a very famous makeup company that mostly celebrities buy from.

"Will you stop acting so dramatic!" Mrs Ash AKA Mia's mother who has a hard time handling her spoilt daughter said. " His a CEO of a very famous designing company and his also very handsome." She continued trying to convince her stubborn daughter.

"I don't care who he is or what he looks like I'm not getting married!" Mia said refusing to listen to her mother.

"What's all this shouting about?" Mia's grandfather said as he walked in as he could hear them fighting from his study.

"Grandpa mum wants me to get married!"Mia rushed to her grandfather to complain.

"I know I am the one who picked your future husband because I can't let my precious granddaughter get married to just anyone." He said as one of the maids helped him sit down.

"What! You the one who helped mum pick my future husband?" Mia said being unhappy with her grandfather.

"Calm down Mia his a very nice guy and you should meet him first before judging him." Mia's grandfather said.

"Fine, since you said I should meet him, I'll go to him right know at his company." Mia said grabbing her purse and rushed out of the door before anyone could stop her. She got into her blue with white racing striped Mustang and with a blink of an eye she was gone.

In the CEO's office at Raven's designs.

"Boss, Mr Ash phoned to tell you that his granddaughter is on her way here to meet you." the assistant said.

"Is that so, well then we should give her a warm welcome." Mr Raven sad with a devilish smile which sent chills down his assistants spine.

Outside of Raven designs.

Mia jumped out of the car and walked into the building just to see a line of people who bowed for her as she walked in.

"Welcome Mrs Raven!" they all said as she stood at the entrance of the company.

Mia stood there surprised for a few seconds until she saw a tall man who stood out from everyone else dressed in a light gray suit. As soon as Mia saw everyone go back to work she immediately walked toward him.

"You must be Zen Raven and why are they calling me Mrs Raven?" Mia said as soon as she was Infront of him.

Zen's assistant felt a chill go down his spin as no dared to speak to his boss like before but when he look at his boss he was astonished by what he saw. His was was smiling at this women.

"Well since you don't like small talk why don't we continue this discussion in my office." Zen said with a smirk on his face.

"Sure either way I need to talk to you about something privately." Mia said with a cold look on her face.

Zen guided Mia towards his private lift which only a few people could access.

Mia felt a little uncomfortable but she never showed it and just kept a cold expression on her face. As she followed Zen she could already tell by the way everyone was looking at her that she was going to be the gossip of the day.

Zen looked back at his assistant " Make sure no one disturbs us" He said and then continued walking.

When Mia and Zen arrived at Zen's office Mia took a seat on the couch. When Zen saw how freely she acted he smiled. He then asked his assistant to bring to cups of coffee to his office.

"So what is it that you are here to discuss with me" Zen asked as he sat down beside her.

"It's about the marriage agreement that you made with my grandfather" Mia said as she moved away from him. "Why wanted to know why you agreed to marry me when you don't even know me" Mia continued.

Zen let out a slight laughter. "Well I can get to know after we get married and the only reason I agreed is because my family is also annoying me to get married. Zen said with a serious look.

"Okay fine I understand but why me"Mia asked eger to know his answer.

"Well when I finally agreed to this whole marriage thing you were the first girl on the list my mother handed me and you also just happened to be my type from the background check I did on you" Zen responded with a straight forward answer.

"Wait you did a background check on me" Mia said.

"Well of course you don't honestly think I would get married to someone I know nothing about"Zen said with a straight since he often ran background checks on people.

Mia sat there speechless as she had no idea how to respond to that. As she sat there lost in thought Zen's assistant had brought their coffee. As Zen's assistant was placing the coffee on the table Mia jumped up he seat and said " Since you agreed to this marriage because of your family why should I".

"Isn't your family or should I say mother worrying you to get married as well" Zen said as he took a sip of his coffee.

"How do you know that"Mia asked.

"I did say I did a background check on you so on the form it showed the amount of blind dates your mother organised for you and how you turned them all down by not even showing up" Zen replied.

Mia sat back and thought about what he said and how he is right about her mother. She then thought that if she gets married to him she doesn't need to worry about her anymore and the fact that he is also doing it for his family sack he won't be bother.

When Zen glanced over Mia he could already tell she was thinking of some stupid plan in her head. As he thought that Mia turned to face him.

"Okay fine I will agree to marry you on one condition" Mia said with a straight face.

"Sure what is it"Zen said looking at her interested in what she is going to say.

"You have to say out of business and only when we around our family will you be able to hold me" She said as she took her coffee from the table.

"Okay fine I agree to your condition but I also have one"Zen said with a devilish smile."You have to bring me lunch every day like a proper wife" He continued.

Mia thought for second and then she agreed. She then held her hand out for a handshake to seal the deal.

Are her discussion with Zen, Mia returned home. At the Lin's household Mia's grandfather was seat in lounge having a cup of coffee and talking to someone. When Mia walked in the maid informed her that her grandfather is waiting for her in the lounge. Mia went to lounge and was excited when she saw who was there.

"Oh my god Jack!" Mia shouted when she saw him. She then ran towards him and gave him a hug. Jack was also very happy to see her.

"When did you get back?" Mia asked as she hasn't seen him in year.

"A while ago and this is the first place that came but when I got here you weren't here" Jack said with a sad face. Jack was known to be very cold but since him and Mia are childhood friends he would only act like this around her. From little Jack would follow Mia around and never leave her and he also didn't want to go abroad but because his father insisted he went.

"I'm so sorry I went to visit my future husband and talk to him about our wedding" Mia said as she went on her tippy toes to pet his head. " Oh and grandpa Zen said he will be here tomorrow to discuss the wedding details with you" Mia said with a smile.

"Wait you getting married" Jack out of shock said. He then held Mia by her shoulders and said " Who is he, where did you meet , how old is he, where does he work...." Jack asked like an overprotective brother but Mia stopped him before he could continue.

"Calm done Jack, grandpa was the one who picked him for me and know you trust grandpa's decision so stop with all the questions." Mia said with her hand on his mouth so that he doesn't say anything else. "Plus his coming tomorrow so you can meet him then yourself" she continued.

Jack didn't say anything and just nodded his head.

The next day

Mia woke up early and got ready. She wore a long blue and red red dress with red and blue striped high heel and sliver jewellery to break up the look. After doing her hair in high up ponytail she went downstairs where her grandfather and mother were sitting and having breakfast.

"What time did you say Mr Raven was coming" Mia's mother asked curiously as Mia sat down.

"He said he will let me know when his on his way here and you can just call him Zen" Mia said as she reached out for a toasted cheese sandwich.

"She is right he is going to be your son in law soon" Mia's grandfather agreed with her.

Just then the door bell rang. One of the maids answered the door and within a few seconds later Jack walked into the dining room with his fiancée. When Mia saw her she immediately woke up and went to them.

"You must be Luna" Mia said excitedly.

"Yes and you must be the famous Mia that Jack could never stop talking about" Luna said, happy to see Mia as well.

Luna and Mia would often talk over the phone and that's how they got along now.

"Why don't you'll sit and and continue talk" Mia's mother said as she saw they were still standing.
