Levi woke up shaking and covered in sweat. However, his reason for shaking and sweating was not from his high fever. It was because of the dream he had or Nightmare should have been a better term.

In his nightmare, he let Hange sacrifice herself and knowing she was burnt alive with him being helpless and loosing her scared him. He looked around and found himself in an unfamiliar room that at the same time feels familiar.

He heard a door open and looked up and saw Hange carrying a tray with soup and medicine. He instinctively rushed to her but because of his sickness, ended up on the floor. Hange hurriedly set the tray aside and hurried to Levi to get him back to bed.

"Levi what are you doing rushing out of bed!"

Hange was about to continue scolding him but was cut off by Levi.

"Four-eyes you're alive. I'm so sorry I was useless that you had to sacrifice yourself. I didn't want to live without you."

Levi clung to Hange as if his life depended on it. He was afraid she'd leave him alone again if he did let go. Hange on the other hand was confused by what he said earlier.

" If I did die I wouldn't be here with you you know. That must have been a horrible nightmare for you to say stuff like that now let's get you to bed so that you're condition does not get worse"

Hange help Levi lie down and sat next to him by the side of the bed hoping it will calm him down from the nightmare.

"Four-eyes if you ever do anything stupid and try to leave me alone I swear I will lock you up". Levi said with a tint of fear.

Hange just laughed at what he said. "I would be a horrible person to just leave my fiance and soon to be husband". Hange stroked his hand with her left hand. A ring with a simple yet beautiful design can be seen. A symbol of a promise thay made which will soon be fulfilled

The sun was shining from the window when a grumpy midget woke up. He looked around before getting up and preparing himself for the day. When he walked into the kitchen he saw a familiar brunette preparing breakfast while humming a song.

"Oh Levi your finally awake"

Hange said noticing him after putting breakfast at the table. She walked to him and placed her right hand in his forehead while the her other hand touched her own.

"Looks like you no longer have a fever but I suggest you still avoid moving around too much so minimoze your cleaning. Now let's eat"

While they were eating Levi can't help but remember the dream he had.

"Levi please let me go""vi... Levi!"

Levi snapped out of his trance and looked at Hange who was staring at him with worry in her eyes.

"Levi are you ok? Are you still thinking about the nightmare you had? You wouldn't let me go even when I was just going to get you watwr and kept holding me tight. What was the nightmare even about?"

Levi contemplated wether he should tell her or not. He decided that it's better to let it out since it's Hange he is talking to.

" We were running away from these things... I don't know what they were but they were really big"

He looked at Hange and saw her still listening attentively. Though he said it in the best monotone voice he could Hange could still tell the fear and shaking of his voice.

"We were leaving with a plane but it was taking too long. Armin and the others were there too. Armin suggested he stay behind to buy some timw but you..."

He took a deep breath before continuing.

"You stopped him saying that it was your fault we were there and that you should be the one to stay behind. I tried to stop you and grabbed onto you but you asked me to let you go"

His voice was now shaking filled with fear and pain. Tears were now streaming down his cheek but he no longer cared. Hange was taken a back and higged him to comfort him. Levi accepted and hugged back bitterly laughing and said.

"You even made a joke even though you knew you were gonna die"

Hange asked in a sad and guilty voice "You did get away right"? Ivd feel really guilty if it was for nothing "

" We were able too but I couldn't bear seeing you die so I stayed inside later I found out that there could have been a way where you could have survived with us but it was too late"

They stayed like that till Hange suggest they continue this letter with Levi agreeing. Later Hange said after remembering something.

"Hey this reminds me of the time Onyankopon and Armin acted weird and looked at me with happiness qhen we rode the plane for our company trip to Bohol"

Levi wondered if they knew something but decided to ask later since he wanted to spend more time with Hange first. They watched movies the whole day
