The Pathway To Hell.

Chapter One: "Is it really true? Is she really cursed?"

Justice.

I looked around the ballroom in disgust, the people here, the way they behaved, it was all a play. They hide their true nature under all the smiles and jokes.

And people actually fall for that.

Through the corner of my eye, I notice my mother chatting with a woman a little bit older then me.

My mother,

A person who could hide her true nature so well, even I forget what she really is.

Her snow- white hair was tied into a perfect bun. She wore a blue gown, which went well with her white hair.

Standing near her was my brother, he looked exactly like my mother. He had the same snow- whit hair and the same ice blue eyes.

But he didn't have the ego as my mother.

He lifted his gaze, noticing my stare towards mother. He carefully made his way through the crowd, straight towards me.

I turned my full attention towards him, as he lowers himself to my height.

"Has any man caught your eye, my beautiful sister?" He whispers into my ear, smirking like a fool.

"I was forced to come here, and no man here is deserving of my attention."

"Always so picky my beloved sister, at least have a drink before you say something like that."

I Quietly walk away from him, ignoring his last comment. I made my way through the crowd, a few glancing in my direction.

As I reach the balcony, I noticed it was empty, not a single soul stood in there. Perfect, I could enjoy the moonlight all by myself, once again.

Normally, I liked being alone, but this time, a part of me was longing for a person I could hug, I could kiss.

"Stop thinking nonsense, Justice." I say to myself.

"Talking to yourself miss..?"

I turn as fast as I could, mostly because I wa shocked, shocked at who had just said that.

I looked at the person, his eyes were a dark blue, while his hair was black. He was smirking, looking straight at me.

"Its rude to ignore a person, especially me." He says in a cocky way.

But what did he mean though, it was rude to ignore someone like him? Did he have a high position in the court?

I hope not.

"Its rude to sneak up on a person." I say, exceptionally happy with my remark.

"You have a point there, may I ask, which house do you belong to?"

From young, I was always taught to answer that question with my full title. Mother said it was always respectable to do so.

"Lady Justice, second born to the house of Enworth." I reply coldly. "I would love to continue talking, but I have somewhere to be." I continue, as I quickly walk away from the stranger.

The last thing I needed was someone calling me a cursed child once again.

If only they knew the whole truth. The truth behind my curse......

Chapter Two: "Never back answer a Royal."

I stared at my mother, who looked at me with anger in her eyes. Why was she mad at me? I have done nothing wrong.

"And once again, you have not caught a single man's attention. You really are useless." She says, coldly glaring at me.

"I do not wish to get married, mother, please take note of this."

"Nonsense, Justice, you are going to be twenty in a month, and you have not got yourself a suitor as yet." She continues, still glaring at me.

I look away from her into the mirror, unlike the day at the ball, I was dressed more to my liking.

A simple, yet elegant black dress, that outlined every curve on my body.

"Next week, will be your last chance to find a husband, if you fail to catch a man's attention, I shall disown you. Take my warning."

With that threat, she turned and left the room. Leaving me alone, lost in thought.

All she ever bothers about is her reputation, nothing else.

I hear a slight knock at my door, before someone unlocks it and enters.

It was my brother, he had a worried look on his face, which kind of scared me.

"I know you must mad, because you just spoke to mother. But you remeber I promised you I would take you to the royal hunting grounds? you can accompany me if you wish."

I loved my brother because of this, he's always there for me when I need him.

"I always wanted to see the royal grounds. I'm coming with you, meet me at the main hall in 10 minutes, I need to change my clothes."

Kyst nodded his head and left the room, shutting the door behind him.

I quickly went to change my clothes for something that suited a hunting trip.

A really long while after searching for something to wear.........

I had found the perfect clothes, I didn't think it would fit me, but it did. And I was happy with how i looked

I just had to meet my brother now, hopefully, he doesn't kill me for being late.

I left my room, carrying my bow and arrows with me.

As I walk down the halls and past the servants glanced awkwardly at me.

And that made the atmosphere more awkward then it should have been.

As I enter the main hall, I see my brother waiting there, completely bored and fed up of waiting for me.

"You ready to go, baby sis." He finally says, after noticing I was in the room.

He looked annoyed, but he didn't scold me for being late, guess I just escaped the most dreadful thing in the world.

"Ready as I'll ever be, big bro."

"Good, cause hunting with the Prince and the Duke can be a bit extreme."

I thought my luck could not get any more worse. But it just did.

I didn't know much about the Prince, but the rumors say he's cocky and a teensy bit rude. But I'm not gonna judge him based on a simple rumor.

Guess I'll just have to find out by myself.

Chapter Three: "Am I supposed to laugh?"

On the way to the Palace, I had tried to ask Kyst about the Prince, whether the rumors were true. But the only thing he said to me was to have patience.

Like, what the hell?! I have lost all my patience, I have wanted to know about the rumors since I was 17, but no one paid much attention to me.

When we reached the palace, Kyst got down from Blackberry, his horse, and walked up to the servant who stood at the gate, next to the strict looking guard.

He was speaking to her, but I couldnt hear a word, probably because he was pretty far away.

I got down from my horse and walked up to Kyst, who just finished talking to the Servant.

"Come on, this Way."

He motioned for me to follow him. Kyst led me through a garden. Beautiful Rose bushes immediately caught my attention.

I stopped to look at a certain Rose that caught my attention.

"I know they're beautiful, Justice, but we need to be at the hunting ground right now."

My brother says, looking back at me with a cold expression.

"I'm coming."

I felt like a small child once again. A child who had stopped just to observe the beauty of a flower.

As we reached a more open ground, I caught a glimpse at two people waiting next to 3 beautiful Stallions. Two of the Stallions had a snow-white coat, while, the other horse had a black coat.

As we got closer, I noticed the two men who stood there. One of them was a Duke and the other was the Prince.

Nervousness spread through my body as i reached them, my brother immediately greeting them.

One of them had blonde hair and brown eyes. While the other, the same man from last night, the same man I met on the balcony at the gala was there.

I was rude to either the Prince of the Duke. Hopefully, luck stays on my side this time.

"Damien, Nathan, it's good to see you'll. This is my youngest sister, she'll be joining us for our hint this time." My brother says happily.

Kyst turned to me and said, "I present to you my hunting pals and best friends. Prince Damien and Nathan, The Duke of Warsath."

"I suppose you have heard a lot about us, my lady?'' Nathan asks me. Raising his eyebrows in question.

''Unfortunately, my brother rarely speaks to me about his hunting trips, so, I'm afraid my answer is a no."

Damien was taken aback from my reply. I tried my best not to sound too rude.

"What a shame, what is this I hear, Kyst?" Nathan looks at Kyst, on the brisk of laughing.

"While you might have not hear about the Duke, my lady, you spoke to me yesterday. I'm afraid to say that you left midway our little conversation." Prince Damien says smirking. He scanned me from head to toe, which really got on my nerves.

"Am I supposed to laugh at that your majesty? because I'm not going too. If your think i wanted to continue our little conversation, you are clearly delusional."
