It's the Mid Autumn festival....

"Mo Ran, Mo Ran....hurry up otherwise we are going to be late!"

"Wait, Wait....! Let me put this coat on me, it's a bit cold tonight! Done. I'am coming Su Su!"

Xu Mo Ran, our heroine, gets out of her room and goes down the stairs to enter the living room where her childhood friend Wei Su Su was waiting for her. The two girls were planning to spend the night out in the city where the Mid Autumn festival was taking place every year.

"We're going to eat plenty moon cakes, drink hot tea and watch the beautiful moon all night, right Mo Ran?"

"Of course! And don't forget the lanterns, it's going to be a great view this year too!"

"Mo Ran, have you thought about a wish? There's an old saying: "if you make a wish upon a falling star while watching the full moon during the Mid Autumn Festival, the Moon's Goddess Chang'e will make it come true!"

"Do you believe all that Su Su?"

"Yes! Why not? Don't you think is beautiful to believe in fairytales?"

"Maybe! I suppose so! Anyway let's go my dear Su or will miss all the fun!"

The two young girls leave the house and start running down the street. Even though we're speaking about a city in the modern era, during the great festivals of the year you have the feeling that you're in the ancient times. Every person is wearing clothes from the ancient times and they are holding traditional lanterns. On the streets are placed many stands with a large diversity of groceries and food and let's not forget the

festival's biggest attraction: "The Moon Cake".

(Who would not fall in love with this delicacy?

There's not such person on Earth yet, I assure you!)

(So, where we are with our story? Oh, yes!)

After enjoying all the festival's gifts, the girls find a quiet place from where they can watch the beautiful Moon and enjoy the moon cakes.

They gaze at the sky for a long time and enjoy the night until Su Su shouts out loudly: "Look there's a falling star, make a wish! Fast, make a wish!"

Mo Ran doesn't want to disappoint Su Su, so she closes her eyes and thinks about something. Later when this wonderful scene ends, Su Su asks Mo Ran what she wished but she tells her that if it's revealed it will not come true. The girls decide not to share their wishes one with each other.

"Actually I think you have a point Ran! A wish only comes true if it's kept close to your heart, so we can't expose it."

"Let it be a secret! I'll tell you after it comes true! I swear!"

"Me too!"

Almost near the morning the girls get up from their seats and leave that place. They bid goodbye to each other and head back toward their homes.

"Ahhh...it was so beautiful! I wish I could live in a magical world like this forever, says Xu Mo Ran!"

She says these words while chewing the last moon cake. I don't know how she succeeds but she actually chokes with it. Don't blame the sweet delicacy!

What she sees before she falls down on the ground is a strong light. It appears in front of her eyes letting her blind for a moment. Everything happens fast, in a blink of an eye.

The Moon was still up on the festival's sky.

(Is this the end for this eighteen years old girl?)

Slowly, the girl opens her eyes and starts investigating the surroundings with her sparkling eyes. The poor creature's mind is suddenly flashed by thousands of questions.

"Where am I? How did I end up in this wildness and most importantly who am I? I don't remember anything about myself or others. It's as if I don't have a past!"

As soon as she opens her eyes, she finds herself lost in a forest full of dangers without even knowing her own past. She gets to her feet and begins to walk in an unknown direction.This fragile girl's mind is full of confusion but she can not find an answer anywhere no matter how hard she is trying to remember something. After many efforts, she realizes that her mind is empty and she gives up.

The forest was huge, with many cross paths. It seemed as if there was no way out of it.

Somewhere near, you could feel the presence of running water (maybe a river or something like that). Xu Mo Ran was exhausted from walking in circles for hours but the soft sound of running water brings a smile back to her lips. She heads toward that place but her path is suddenly blocked by five fierce mountain bandits or so they looked like. One of them is wearing a red bandana that sets him apart from the rest. It is probably the gang's boss. The hooligans are muscular and at the first sight of their prey they all start to grin...

(grin like some mentally weak people).

Frightened by them, she tries to escape in the opposite direction but the five men are fastly surrounding her.

"Where do you think you're going little girl? Don't you wanna play with your big brothers for a while?" (says the boss)

"No I don't! Leave me alone you brutes! What do you want from me, I have no valuable possession!" (yells Mo Ran)

They start to grabbing her hands and pushing her from one to the other.

"You have your fresh *****! That's good enough! You can pay us in bed, ***** cat!" (laughs one of them)

"Come on girl, don't bite! If you're obedient, maybe our boss will take you as his wife! Hahahahaha...!"

"He hasn't touched a woman in three months! (laughs) I bet he's burning inside! Hahaha...!"

"Shut up you idiot! You really must say that in front of the damsel, she"ll believe that I am powerless! Don't I look like a bull, girl? (grinning)"

While they are talking one with each other, Xu Mo Ran is struggling in vain to escape their grip but these brutes are too strong for her.

They keep teasing and touching her body calling her "pussycat", "pussycat" until a hand of steel intervenes and saves her from their chain.

She is dragged into a safe area by a very young and handsome man, who pops out of nowhere and is now shielding her. The bare-chested gentleman who jumped in to save her is actually a total delict: a tall man with soft and white skin, long dark hair and yellowish eyes, almost like an angel from the heaven or a demon lord from the abyss. He has everything that could make any women to fall in love at first sight!

The bandits start yelling at this new guy who just stopped their game and ruined their fun.

"Who the hell you are brat? (says the boss on an angry tone) Give me my prey back and get out of here if you value your own life! Or should I just...?"

"Yes!!! Haha Haha...!!! Kill him! Kill him boss and let's have fun with the pussycat later! (laugh the others)"

"Just hurry up and kill him!"

The boss of the bandits can't even properly finish his attack because he starts bleeding from all the holes. Our hero's killing aura is so strong that is affecting his opponent's internal organs.

"Boss, what's wrong? What's going on? How can this brat...? ( start yelling the others)"

"Don't just watch, attack him fools! (yells another)"

The boss was already collapsed on the ground, when the others realized the young hero's strength and launched their attack.

In a short time all the five bandits are killed and the whithe skin of this beautiful creature got painted in red.

He exclaims while he was wiping his sword of blood , "look in what a mess I am because of you, I must wash myself again ".

Even after seeing the bandits dead, Xu Mo Ran is still in shock and can't hear her saviour's complaints. He approaches her and shakes her shoulders.

"Hey! Are you hearing me or are you deaf?"

She winces at the hearing of his gentle voice and starts screaming loudly.

"Hey, I am not the bad guy! I just saved you! Stop screaming! It seems that I arrived in time and they didn't touch you down there, so you should be fine now. Consider yourself lucky!"

"Can you talk? What are you doing alone in the mountains? This is not a place for a young girl to walk alone. It's full of bandits and magical beasts. Where is your home? Let me escort you there."

Into an end she calms down and look straight into his eyes trying to thank him.

"Ok, ok ! Tell me where's your home, I will take you there!"

She shakes her head making him understand that she doesn't know.

"Why aren't you talking? Are you a mute?"

Mo Ran writes on the ground "I wasn't ".

"Ok! Maybe it's from the shock. You will eventually start to talk."

"What should I do with you? You don't even have a home. Are you somehow a nomad?"

The girl writes "I don't know ".

"You don't know? Oh, that's great!"

"What's your name?"

"I don't know "

"You don't know that either. God, what does she know then? Should I leave her here? (says while looking at the sky with desperate eyes)

Xu Mo Ran writes on the ground again: "you seem to be a kind person, can you take me with you please? I am surely going to die alone! I am begging you kind one!"

She says that and jumps at his feet hugging him.

"What are you doing? Stand up right now! You don't have to do that, I already decided to take you in a safe place. Come with me, I need to wash this blood.There's a river near, you can also refresh yourself!"

Mo Ran shakes her head and closely follows her angel.

Xu Mo Ran closely follows her saviour until they find the river where this man was going to wash out the blood and dirt from his clothes and body.

If you would look along the river from a side to the other, you would be amazed by the wonderful view that unfolds before your eyes. It is almost like a fairy tale, a fairy tale where a beautiful prince is discovered by the goddess of the fairies while he bathes into their river.

After a moment of hesitation, he turns toward her and tells her that he's going to use the area where there are tall rocks to bathe. She wants to tell him that she won't peek at him while he's ***** but she's still mute and the words don't come out.

Hardly, she manages to write on the ground that she'll try to light a fire while he is busy and maybe even cook something.

Xu Mo Ran lights the fire and even succeeds to catch four fishes from the river. She cooks the fishes and patiently waits for her saviour to come back but she's not actually good at waiting.

In fact, she has little patience that's why even though she harbours no ill intentions toward him, she can't continue waiting any longer. The girl gets panicked and starts believing that something bad must have happened to the man who saved her life a while ago. "That's it!"

Mo Ran jumps on her feet and quietly walks in the direction of the tall rocks. So what if she can't keep her words and acts like a perverse person who looks as if she's trying to peek at a ***** man, she must see with her own eyes that her saviour is safe and sound. She hesitates for a second but her feet continue to advance.

Clinging to the rock she tries to figure out what's happening on the other side.

This rock is blocking my view, thinks her.

It was quiet. So quiet that you could hear the splashing and feel the fragrance of his skin.

He was using roses essence to maintain his skin's texture and softness. This essence mixed with his body's temperature was emanating a divine smell. Suddenly she flusheds and her heart starts to beat crazily. Her feet weakens and out of blue she becomes dizzy. This situation is very embarrassing for Mo Ran and the girl tries to fastly get away from that place. She can't faint there, right behind the rocks where he is bathing.

What if he finds her drowned there, Mo Ran is terrified by this thought so she tries to slowly move away.

"Mo Ran, Mo Ran, what were you thinking? Damn, I am such a stupid girl! How can I think that something would have happened to such a strong person? I am really naive. If he finds me now, he will think that I am stalking him, that I am a shameless woman but I have not seen anything. Anyway not too much, just his back. God, please don't reveal me!"

Praying like this, Mo Ran succeeds to get away from the rocks without being noticed by the heavenly angel. When he returns to her, he's already wrapped in new and dry clothes. The girl's face is still red.

He sits down next to her and grabs a fish to eat.

"You have cooked this? "

Mo Ran slowly nods.

"You're quite a thoughtful person! I was really starving. Thanks."

She smiles and she also takes a fish.

"It's good", she writes on the ground.

"Yes. Very good! I have never eaten such a well seasoned fish before. This is the best!"

"Thanks. This is payment for savings me earlier, she writes. I will repay you one day."

He slowly smiles and continues eating. Later he tells her: "You don't have to repay me! I only save lives because that's the right way. With this fish your debt is payd! You don't own me anything now."

"Thanks, she writes. Can I know my benefactor's name?"

"My name....is of no importance but if you really want to know it I will tell you. MING YUE."

"Some people call me, Yue-Hua!"

......(Mo Ran's mind)....YUE-HUA....such a beautiful name...!!!
