It all started when my parents died in an accident when I was 5 years old. Since that incident, I have had one eye of a different color and can see yokai, and at the time of the accident, I was raised by my grandfather. My grandfather was a quiz priest, so I started living side by side with the yokai. There are times when I feel lonely but I have a friend from one of the yokai, namely chibi who is a kappa yokai.

Chibi always accompanies me when I feel lonely then I give a piece of cucumber to return the favor to chibi. Since living in the house next to the shrine I started working to help Grandpa become a shrine Miko, this job was fun enough that I ended up sometimes confused about the difference between yokai who lived side by side with humans.

"Morning Aoi :) " said Grandpa Aoi

" Morning too grandpa, today we have grilled fish with radish soup and rice," said Aoi

" Wow, all of Grandpa's favorite foods, thank you for preparing everything Aoi." replied grandpa Aoi

"You're welcome grandpa," said Aoi

After my grandfather and I finished breakfast, I got ready to go to school. During the trip, I always saw various kinds of yokai, and sometimes there is yokai who like to be nosy to humans. But the thing that worries me the most is that obake is a kind of ghost who sometimes asks me for help. If the help is only trivial and easy I always try to help them but otherwise I refuse but sometimes they always bother me.

When I arrived at the school gate, I was greeted by two of my friends named Kagura Hime and Shiba Tomoe. Kagura Hime is a good person, but sometimes she is quite indifferent even though many say they love her, and Kagura Home has past ties to the Yokai Yuki-Onna or Snow White, so her nature is not much different. While Shiba Tomoe is his friend who is quite cheerful and hyperactive he also has a bond in his past with the yokai Shiba, a dog.

Even so, I feel very grateful to have these two friends.

"Aoi, how about your math assignment?" Tomoe said

"You want to cheat again huh?" Answer Aoi

" Yes, hehe," Tomoe said

" Don't give Aoi, he'll get used to not doing his homework" replied Hime

" It's okay, after all the math teacher is fierce. Aoi

"Ready to do it, what kind of bread do you want?" Tomoe said

"I want pink lava bread with white milk" Aoi replied

"I want chocolate bread and melon milk" Hime answered

"Ok," Tomoe said

The bell rang, signaling it was time for the first lesson. I'm in the same class as Hime in class 11-A while Tomoe is in class 11-B. Our first-class is the fine arts class. As usual, the teacher will discuss the history first and then be directed to practice. I'm often scolded because my drawing is not good but I still try my best.

" Don't worry Aoi, this is not your specialty. Maybe later in your cooking class, you will be the best!" Hime said

"thank you hime" replied Aoi

    The fine arts class was finished then we moved to the kitchen class to do a cooking class, there we were explained to make curry and then divided into groups. My group consists of Kusanagi Sakura, Kagura Hime, and myself, namely Sui Aoi."Let's do three tasks, shall we?" Aoi said

" ok, I want to wash vegetables and other ingredients and then cut them" replied Hime

" I'll also help cut the meat" Sakura replied

" means I'm the one who cooked," said Aoi

" that's for sure :) " answered hime and sakura

"Okay" replied Aoi

 In my group, everyone cooperated, so it was done in one hour. Then we were asked to taste each other's dishes from other groups. When there is already Tomoe.

"Let's just eat here," Tomoe said

"You're eating curry rice again" Hime replied

"It's her habit right" Aoi replied

" Yes, but you don't feel bored. ? " Hime said

" Nope" Tomoe replied

We also ate, while Tomoe returned the math book. Then we used to talk about many things but Tomoe as usual wanted to know a lot about yokai.

" How did you meet the chibi this morning?" Hime said

"Yes, as usual, he has breakfast with cucumber" replied Aoi

"Then how do you still like dreaming with the tengu or not?" Hime said

"Isn't this week" replied Aoi

"Hopefully that's a good sign, Aoi," Tomoe said

"Yes" replied Aoi

The second ringing bell means that the bell for the third lesson begins. Tomoe started her math class while I was in history class. Ended by math class, the bell rang home.

" Shall we stop at the photo boot first?" Hime said

"ok" Aoi replied

"After the photo boot, we ate at McDonald's?" Tomoe said

"Ok" Answered Aoi and hime

After we finished eating we parted ways. I usually take the bus to get home. When I was detained I heard a voice asking for help when I searched it turned out that there was a kitsune who was seriously injured so I took him to the veterinary clinic and brought him home with him. "Where did you find it, Aoi?" Aoi's grandfather said

"The bush near the park" replied Aoi

"Maybe the kitsune was fighting," said Aoi's grandfather

"It seems" Aoi replied

 There is a history that the kitsune were guardians of a small shrine in front of the garden and there was a pair of kitsune. In the Shinto religion, many gods represent various things, such as the sea god, the sun god, and many more. Well, the god Inari himself represents rice, tea, and sake. Then what is the Inari fox? In legend, the gods were said to often choose animals as messengers. The god Inari also chose a white fox as his messenger. That's why Inari shrines in Japan have fox statues that act as temple guards.

When the kitsune was being treated he didn't eat then I remembered that this kitsune only eats Inari Sushi. According to legend, the fox's favorite food is aburaage. Therefore, this sushi is called Inari sushi. There is something unique, you know, this sushi can have a different taste and shape, depending on which area you eat it. In eastern Japan, for example, it is square and filled only with sushi rice. While in western Japan, inari sushi has a richer taste, as the rice is usually mixed with vegetables and other ingredients. In addition, it is triangular, resembling the shape of a fox's ears!

Day after day has passed, kitsune began to improve his condition. I also felt happy to see the situation, until one day the kitsune left without parting and then he came back with walnuts. Bini walnut is my favorite snack, the kitsune gave walnut seeds as a sign of gratitude for taking care of her during her healing treatment. Day after day the kitsune often visit our shrine, and occasionally I give Irani Sushi as a snack for the kitsune. Day after day has passed, kitsune began to improve his condition. In the culinary field in Japan itself, types of tea such as matcha, sencha, bancha, and houjicha are types of tea that match the taste of Japanese dishes. However, it is undeniable that matcha is one of the most popular types of tea. The taste of matcha, which is slightly bitter, is very suitable to be paired with the taste of sweet and savory dishes. Therefore, we find many snacks such as ice cream, mochi, dorayaki, and so on that use this type of tea. And I'm making dorayaki.

"Aoi's made, it's the best," said Aoi's grandfather

"It's okay" replied Aoi

"I agree with Grandpa!" said Hime

Kitsune stopped by, then Hime noticed it ...

"The kitsune is so cute," said hime

"You keep kitsune?" Tomoe said

"No, one week ago he was injured and then I took care of him until he recovered and until now he just stopped by" replied Aoi

"He's already subscribed here," said Aoi's grandfather

"What subscription, grandpa?" Tomoe replied

"Barter walnuts with Inari sushi, hehehehe" replied Aoi
