The sun rose up as the rays peeked through the royal like dark purple curtains shining the room , as weak Luna groan as she turn to the opposite side of the bed ....

She slowly open her eyes as things were blurred, but after some time of conscious she realize she wasn't in her room , in fact this place wasn't her home ....

She look around to find a pendulum clock ticking 6 : 00 am in the morning .

" Where am I ? " Luna sat on the bed as she tried to remember what happen yesterday night

She closed her eyes as pictures of fangs , blood and....

" R-Ryan Sullivan ? " Luna was shaking in fear remember how the deep green emerald eyes slowly turn to blood shot red as she unconsciously rubbed her necklace....

" V-Vampire ?"

As Luna said these words the room suddenly felt silent and a cold aura surrounded the room as the door open slowly revealing a tall , well - built man with deep green eyes and move towards her slowly in a very cold manner as his face had an emotionless expression...

" M-Mr Sullivan .... " Luna back off seeing Ryan walking towards her , the vicious beast who suck her blood last night was walking towards her , that made her tremble ...

Chills were running down her spines as she closed her eyes waiting for her dead as she heard him climb on the bed .... but instead of pain she felt a light touch near her collar bone as she open her eyes slightly ...

Seeing that Ryan frown as he said coldly , " Weaklings...." one word from his mouth felt like it was made of ice and his glares were like cold and sharp pointed icicles shooting ...

Ryan brush his cold fingers on Luna's collarbone as Luna hissed in pain , there were his fang marks

Hiss~

Ryan looked at Luna as he bend near her as she back off until she was pressed on the bed by Ryan ...

" W-What do you t-think ? Y-You are rich so y-you think you can do- " Luna was almost finishing what she had to say when Ryan suddently kissed her ...

Well maybe not a kiss but an indirect way to transfer his blood ...

Luna was in such a shock that she didn't even realize that her wounds started to heal slowly , her eyes widen although it was no passionate kissed but they were still indirectly kissing ....

After a while Ryan stood up seeing Luna's flushed faced as she was still in a shock , Ryan still had his cold and emotionless expression on his face....

Luna snapped back to reality as she looked at Ryan who was shooting her glares ,

" You have known my identity now so there is no point in explaining you who I am ." Ryan said as he fold his arms and sat on the couch ...

" S-Sir , I promise I am not telling anyone ..." Luna said shuttering as she shivered

Ryan turn his head away , " You still have to obey my rules now , you're staying with me here ."

" What?!" Luna shouted as she sat on the bed , Ryan shot her a glare again as she nervously smiled

" I-I meant how can this happen ? You are not going t-to kill me right ." Luna shuttered again

" You humans are weaklings indeed ...." Ryan grunted , " You have to do something for me ..."

" Yes sir !" Luna replied

Ryan said nothing as he disappeared in a second ....

" Did I just agree to stay with a Vampire ? that to who stole my first kiss ? " Luna was still in shock as she got of the bed to only see herself in a big pair of black pyjamas ....

" ....." Luna was speechless as she walk out of the room as her eyes wide open

The house was big just like ancient castles during the 18th century , antiques were all over the house and what caught her eye was a big ancient wooden door carved beautifully but looked like it hasn't been open for years or maybe ... centuries

" Miss Luna ? " A voice called behind her as Luna turn back to see a middle age man smiling ...

" Oh hello ..." Luna smiled as she greeted politely

" Miss Luna , Master has called you at th dining hall..." The man said

" Can you please take me there ? " Luna asked calmly

" Sure mam , sorry I didn't gave my introduction .... Miss I am William this mansion housekeeper and also the butler here ..." William said with a smile

" Nice to meet you William , umm... are you a-" Luna asked hesitantly

" Yes miss Luna , I am a Vampire too ..." He said with a smile on his face which brighten his face

" Looks like not all Vampires are as dangerous as I thought ...." Luna thought

" Miss Luna please , sir is waiting inside ...." William said as he led her to the dining room

Luna nodded as she smiled and open the door popping her head inside to see Ryan in his business suit sitting on the chair like a king as he was scrolling on his tablet and his coffee already cold ...

" M-Mr Sullivan ? " Luna said as she stood at the door frozen

" Sit down ." Ryan didn't look at her but said coldly

Luna said nothing and sat far away from him scared he might pound on her and feed on her blood ..

Ryan said nothing but threw a document towards her as he finally looked at her but with the same glare

" W-What is this ? " Luna asked , " Must be a contract so that I won't have any objection if he kill me ....Modern Vampire I see..." Luna thought

" Marriage contract ." Ryan said

" What?! " Luna stood up as she looked at the table and the document

Ryan looked at Luna a little shook ,but he didn't show it instead his face was still expressionless ...

" Mr. Sullivan look I know you're maybe a bit different from us but this doesn't mean out of fear I will take any decision which is important in my life without thinking twice ...." These were the words Luna wanted to yell but looking at Ryan she took a deep breath and said , " M-Mr Sullivan I think a marriage contract is too much for being someone's pawn ..." at that moment Luna no new she f*ucked up

Ryan stood from his chair as he came near Luna and pinned her to the chair , " You are going to sign the contract and move here and if you don't the consequences will be worst ." With that he disappeared again ...

Luna felt as if she was going to die the next second if she refute , she looked at contract as she pursued her lips ...

" Well I brought it upon myself , after his warning I still when near him and help him ..... he doesn't seem to really hurt me even though he is a bit scary but as long as I am useful to him he won't hurt me yet ..." Luna thought as she hesitantly sign the papers

William came in with a crystal bowl with an amber colour liquid in it , as he place it in the table ...

" Miss Luna , Sir asked you to take this liquid since your body hasn't recover fully yet ..." William smiled

" Ohh , thank you .." Luna thanked William as she smiled back

" And also Sir said that if you are going for work the car will be prepared and the your new clothes are in your room ." William continued

" O-Okay.." Luna replied as she nodded and took the bowl as she gulp the liquid down

William already disappeared leaving her at the dinning room , Luna went to her room to see her things beautifully arrange in her room...

A soft smile spread across Luna's face making her brighten up as she got ready for work...

" I am really going to stay with him ..." Luna sigh

Luna wore her usual outfit for the office as she went to her company .

Like everyday she had paper works and documents to do on behalf of the manager since he's on leave .

Luna was like any other normal women who has confidence in what she does and strong willed although a little scared of Ryan ever since yesterday but unique in her own way...

Luna was at her seat when , Raven came and drop a bunch of documents on the table ...

Startled Luna looked at Raven with a confused look and said , " And what is this mam ? "

" Work ." Raven said as a sly grin appeared on her plastic face

Luna hold back her anger as she calmly said , " Mam my work has been done yesterday an completed too , so I don't think that I should be doing this because I have other works to be completed too ."

" Are you ordering me ?! " Raven shouted suddenly

" But you are an employee too and giving your work to others isn't right mam. " Luna calmly sat at her chair as she said calmly

" Who are you to tell me what to do or not ?! " Raven shouted as she raised her hand on Luna

Luna stood up and held Raven's hand with a calm look , everyone were looking at both if them ....

Raven suddenly slapped her self and fell down , Luna was a little confuse and finally realise that her CEO was there , Mr. Haider Fields ... sadly the poor man was sued by Raven for r*pe when he was drunk and has to marry her....

" Ms . Luna what are you doing ?" Haider shouted making everyone flinch

" Baby... she slap me " Raven cried holding her cheek

" Well sir I have my self respect too , Ms . Raven ask me to do her work and more over she raised her hand on me ... I had to defend myself ..." Luna explained

" What proof do you have against me ? " Raven sobbed

" Ms. Luna you shouldn't have raised your hand on her ..." Haider knew it was Raven's fault yet defend her

Luna knew she shouldn't argue more because Haider tone was full of warning and threat so she didn't talk more and stood still listening to all the rubbish he talked about her ...

" Ms. Luna you are going to work overtime today and if you disobey me , your job is gone ." Haider said and carried Raven away , but Raven smiled mockingly at Luna before leaving ...

Luna had to concealed her anger inside and sit on her desk working again ...

The other workers started gosipping as always .

《Time skip till 6 : 30 pm 》

Luna was already tired of working non stop and was almost finishing her document when Haider came and shot Luna a cold glance ...

" Luna , unfortunately our manager has pass away a while ago because of his sickness ..."

Luna was shocked , Haider continued " And since you have been working in his place since long you are going to be the new finance manager ..."

" T-Thank you sir ..." Luna said hesitantly

" And .... sorry for what happen in the morning , I lost it and I shouldn't have behave that way ..." Haider said looking away

Luna was a little shook by his words since Haider never behave that way to Luna ...

" Sir it's fine , I shouldn't have talked that way to Ms Raven too ..." Luna stood up as she bow

" Hmm... Continue your work . " Haider said as he left

After one more hour of working , Luna left the office and saw many employees outside and the reason was because there was heavy rainfall ...

" Its April and rainfall already started , great now how am I suppose to go home-" Luna realise something

" Oh goodness , Ryan he will kill me if he think I ran away .... Mom please save me , I am coming to you very soon...." Luna prayed in her heart

" Luna..... You're here too ?" Raven said as she walked smirking

" Ms . Raven ...."

" How can someone so poor as you can be in this company , I wonder why hasn't Haider kick you yet ." Raven said

" Well maybe that's because I am the Finance manager now ..." Luna said as she smile forcefully

" What?!"

" Ohh, I just got a promotion Ms . Raven . " Luna said

" * scoffs * So what ? I am the president's fiancè and what are you a poor girl with just a little " Raven laughed at Luna

Luna knew arguing with Raven was more like inviting a dog to chase herself ...so she ignored it and waited for the rain to wait

Raven when to the employees as she bragged about Haider as always , since Haider left for a meeting an hour ago ...

Suddenly a line of black cars stop in front of the company and a man came out and walk inside smiling

" Mam I am Alex Norwood boss's assistant , sir is waiting for you ..." the man said

" Oh , my baby came to pick me up such a cutie pie ..." Raven said proudly

" I am really feeling jealous of Ms . Raven now ..."

" Such a caring fiancè ..."

And the employees keep gossiping as Raven went towards the car walking seductively ...

" Miss Luna please hurry ..." The man said as he looked at Luna who was on her mobile at the corner

Raven froze at the spot as she turn back and Luna looked confuse as she tilt her head and point at herself ...

Suddenly the car opening , revealing handsome Ryan with his strong and cold aura surrounding him and his green eyes fixed on Luna as he sigh , Luna eyes widen as she covered her face and snuck away ...

The employees were in a shock as well as Raven , that Ryan Sullivan the business tycoon and the top international business man was standing among them ....

" Are you coming here or should I come there ?" Ryan's cold voice send chills to everyone's spine

Luna was feeling as if she was going to be dead soon a as she smiled pitfuly and nodded and walked towards Ryan

Luna covered her face with her backpack and walked slowly , Ryan frown as he grab Luna's hand and pulled her with him inside the car...

And in an instant all the cars were gone , everyone heaved a sigh of relief as they witness everything ...

Meanwhile in the car , Luna kept a distance from Ryan as she looked away ....

" Why are you still covering your face ?" Ryan asked as he looked at Luna

Luna kept the backpack down and looked towards the window ...

" Why were you late today ?" Ryan asked

" It was raining heavily..." Luna replied

Ryan grab Luna's chin although not gently but not tightly either and made her face him as his green eyes looked deep into her eyes , when he realise her face was red ....

" When I am talking to you , you should look at me ... Understood? "

Luna nodded as she looked at him slowly , " You shouldn't have come ...."

" Is there a restriction that I shouldn't be coming ?" Ryan asked

" No.. but you shouldn't have , rumours will be spread unnecessarily and I'll have a hard time at office..." Luna replied as she talked casually ...

" That's the reason I married you , we're legally married and you're my wife ." Ryan said

" So that's the reason and I thought that I was going to die , such a stupid mind I have ..." Luna thought as she chuckles

Luna looked at Ryan realising his expression a little calm and his eyes were a little different as the grip on her chin became gentle , they were staring at each other looking as if they were reading each other's eyes when the car hit the brake ....

Both snapped out as they turn to opposite sides ,

" What was that ? My heart ..." Luna thought as she held her chest

" Why am I acting this why , how could I let my guard down ? " Ryan held his chest as his expression were like it was earlier ....

The mansion was in an isolated large piece of land so it took time to reach home....

Luna was already snoring and her resting her head on the seat , Ryan turn to looked at snoring Luna as he slowly reach his hand to touch her face as he looked at her curiously ....

And his cold hand finally touched her face , It looked like a child touching a cat for the first time, it is irritating and annoying when awake but like a cotton ball , calm and peaceful when asleep...

Ryan only touch her cheek and draw back his hand and sat in his serious position as he looked at the dark and gloomy sky as he frown again ...

They finally reach the mansion as Ryan decided not to disturb Luna and carried her silently to her room ...

Luna suddenly started sweating and panting as she her eyebrows frown and she looked as if she was trying to move , Ryan sat beside Luna waking her up ....

" Luna ? wake up . Luna ? "

Luna sat up as she breathe heavily and saw Ryan standing beside her , she jump onto him as she started crying .... Ryan was shocked and didn't knew weather he should push her away or not but his looking at her condition he didn't had the heart to do so ...

" I-I saw the same dream , - hic - I s-saw you ..* sobs * " Luna shocked her words out

Luna was still crying and wrapping herself around Ryan tightly shivering , Ryan just kept quiet and stood still he almost hugged her when she looked at him again ...

He dropped the idea of doing so and looked at her with the same emotionless expression as he asked but in a calm manner , " What were you dreaming ? "

" I saw blood , y-you were covered in blood ... You look dead * sobs * don't die.... " Luna cried again as the horrifying scene flashed through her mind again ...

" P-Please don't leave ..."

Ryan was confused , was it a coincidence or a sign that something was hidden ?

He waited till Luna calm down ... usually he hated when other people touched him but this time the feeling was new ... he wanted to calm her down but hesitated whether to trust the human or not ...

She was the first person who was this close to him ....

Luna calm down as she rested her head on Ryan's shoulders feeling lost by the scene which flash in her mind...

" Are you getting down ? " Ryan voice was calm but there was still some coldness in his words

Luna shook her head still lost , as Ryan sigh and walked out of the room and went to the dining room ...

" William ..." Ryan called out

" Dinner is served …" William said as he smiled seeing the two

Ryan placed Luna on the chair when she finally snap back to reality realising what happen ....

She turn red as a tomato , and Ryan was back to his "own" normal state ...

" Next time call the driver when your work hours are over if I don't come , better inform me first .." Ryan said

" Okay ." Luna replied as she ate her dinner

Ryan didn't eat but patiently waited for Luna till she was done ....

" Follow me ." Ryan said as he walked out of the dining room

Luna obediently followed him to his study room as they went in ....

" Is this an apartment or a study room ?" Luna said in daze

Ryan ignored Luna and asked her to sit in front of him .

" So , the reason I kept you here is that I need your blood ." Ryan said not showing much expression

"* Gulps * May I ask the reason ?" Luna asked

" I got a curse which I need to cure and that is with your blood only , you have the rebirth blood which would keep any creature , cutting off humans and animals , healthy and free from pain..."

" So you have to sacrifice me for that ? " Luna asked scared

" * sigh * Humans are indeed stupid ..."

" Stop calling me stupid ..." Luna mumbled

Ryan glared at Luna , " You won't need to , just keep supplying blood when it will be needed and keep yourself healthy that's it and another thing ...."

Ryan took Luna's hand and inserted a rose gold ring with a little red ruby on the top , in her ring finger on the left hand , " That will keep you safe from other dark creatures..."

Ryan wore a similar ring on his left hand too and look at her coldly , " Are you clear with what I said ?"

Luna nodded , Ryan walk out of the room as Luna followed him too when suddenly a mouse jump on Luna's clothes making her froze ...

" Mr. Sullivan...." Luna called out scared

Ryan annoyed turn behind to see Luna pale , " What is it ?"

" Take this mouse away ....please ..." Luna pleaded Ryan

" Take it off yourself ..." Ryan said as he walked away irritated

" Idiot take this mouse away it's scratching my clothes ! " Luna shouted at Ryan

Ryan turn back to glare Luna , Luna knew she messed up .... William arrived by the voice and gulp looking at the situation ...

Ryan walked towards Luna shooting glares as Luna gulp , Ryan took the mouse and threw it to the other other side as Luna fell on the floor ....

" Humans are scardy cats too , So trouble some ..." Ryan grunted in annoyance as he disappeared

" Miss Luna are you alright ?" William asked

" Yes , sorry for the trouble..." Luna said as she stood up

William just smiled and disappeared as Luna walked to her room finding everything gone ...

Luna went to Ryan's room to ask him when she saw that her clothes and things were kept on his room....

" Wait why are my things here ?" Luna asked herself

" You're married..." Ryan said as he teleported to the couch

" Mr. Sullivan you might not have to remind that and how am I suppose to sleep-"

" Don't keep your hopes up Luna , I won't be doing anything ..." Ryan said looking at the book he was reading ....

Hearing that Luna flushed red in embarrassment , " I wasn't thinking that way ! "

A little smile was appeared on Ryan's face which wasn't much visible

" Your clothes are kept on the changing room ..." Ryan said

Luna freshen up as she came out in her pajamas yawning and saw Ryan in his same position looking serious ...

Luna climb on the bed as she kept as much distance as possible and soon fell asleep ...

Ryan was still awake as he felt someone hugging him , he had the same emotionless expression . he turn to see Luna sleeping as she snuggled into his chest ...

Ryan finally smiled , sadly Luna couldn't see it , the moonlight fell on Luna's beautiful face making her gleam in beauty like a white water lily blooming in the lake at night ....

Ryan turn to look at the window to see the sky not as gloomy as before , it was covered with clouds but the moon made its way through the clouds and clear some parts of the sky ....

Ryan couldn't help but smile again as he stare at Luna's face although his smile fade away but his face was relaxed not so tense and tighten as before ... the perfect words were calm and peaceful just like the night ....

For first time in centuries Ryan smiled , had someone by his side at least trusting him that he won't hurt her and was sleep peacefully.....

/ Was Ryan resembling the calm peaceful night or is it just because of the change in his life ...anyways he would still be the same cold and ruthless man , but this night he enjoyed his free and calm self ..../

/Will Luna be the moon which will make the way through the clouds clearing and making the sky beautiful or will she slowly turn to the cloud which will make the sky more gloomy ?/
