The Night after we wrapped the boxes for the Christmas we started clean up the mess of the living room with my mother and sister

"gughhh hideki you're doing it wrong

"your not so serious doing this are you?"

as a scratch my head and replied her

" tch oh c'mon isn't that so obvious?"

"I should have watching right now with my favorite anime but here I am doing this kind of stuff"

"ooh oh Is that so?"

"then should I reward you just like what did the girls do in the game that you played?"

"hmm? what reward??" with her puzzled expression.

(shriek) as I let out a shriek voice

"that was nothing mom don't mind it

"huh am i?" as she replied me with a dumb expression.

"well as you don't know Mom hideki will more likely a guy who works his best with a reward"

"and what kind of reward is this?" mom questioned.

I stopped as she about to continue

"oook ok fine I do it I do it so stop teasing me!"

hmmmm? please oneesan? as what was written on her face

"ara ?I was about to give you some reward though hideki are you sure it's alright?"

as I immediately shown a nonono expression

with tilting my head horizontally

then suddenly a laugh breaks the entire conversation.

"hahaha"

The laugh was came from Dad.

"ok ok enough already you are teasing hideki too much"

as I was a about to explode because of their teases dad stops them.

somehow dad looks like a hero who saves weak from my eyes.

"tch fine your lucky for today hideki

but dad can't save you Everytime gagaga"

"that's enough both of you go your respective rooms it's late already".

" Yes" as we answered.

"Yuri can we have a talk "with a sudden change of a serious face

"is it that important?" as mom asked Dad with a bothered expression.

"both of you to your rooms now we're just about to talk something with your dad"

with their both expression it's hard for me not to be bothered by the atmosphere they are making and I think I'm not the only one thinks that way.

as we continue walking upstairs to our rooms I asked oneesan

"say oneesan what do you think mom and dad going to talk about?".

I don't know maybe something like adult problems?.

"is that what you think it feels like they are terrified or afraid for something"

mizuki stopped walking

"you're really good at judging the situation" as she muttered something.

"you know hideki you shouldn't mind stuffs like that" I feel like she was about to add but she just let a deep sigh

"good night hideki" as she entered to her room.

"**THE TRAGIC OF THE NIGHT**"

"patter patter"the sound of rain falling from the the roof of our house.

it's late already but sleepiness wont come anytime soon so I was just hanging my head in corner left with a vertical position of body.

with this I can able to calm my head to make myself more comfortable but even in this position I still can't able to sleep.

"uugh" I made a groan to myself.

maybe It's because of the takoyaki that I ate earlier I knew that I shouldn't eat that much

but still who could even resist mom's homemade cook.

with that I slip it in my head again the conversation earlier.

I know that I shouldn't mind the problem of the adults but I felt different for this one.

while I was thinking about earlier

I heard some quiet footsteps "tap tap"

and the sound gets closer and closer.

I looked at my phone to check the time that is placed in the top of the drawer right corner of my room near the window.

it was still 2:45 am mostly at this hours Everyone in the house was sleeping

even who always wake up to the the house work wakes up at 4:00.

I know that because most of the time I always wake up in 3am to grab some snacks from the fridge.

so who might it be?

I stopped thinking and corrected my position

and pretend to sleep.

"click click clack" the sound of of the doorknob opening

"creak" while the door slowly opens

remain myself calm and trying to figure who's the person enters my room so I focused my ears to the sound to judge the weight of the person base on their steps.

" tap tap"the sound is quite light but it's produce more weight than I do if I had to do the same.

while I was thinking a lot something touches my arm with a light push and pull

it's seems he's trying to wake me up by shaking my left arm

"hiiiideeekiiiiihhh" the person who called me out so I opened my eyes slowly and I saw a figure of my sister.

"mizuki nee what are y-" as she covers her hand to my mouth to stopped me.

"shhhhhh" as she shushed with her forefinger

telling me to quiet as I freaked out a little

"what the heck are you doing in my room!" as I whispered with an angry tone.

mizu nee just stand slowly and closed the door silently when I was about to asked her again I saw mizu neesan's face she made a serious expression as she looked at me

and says

" there's someone enters the house and he's not alone" the moment she said that to me

I was freaked out and l said

" does Mom and Dad know that"

she didn't answer me question instead she just keep silent and keep looking side ways in the window

so I asked her again

"hey answer me!" as I asked her

she just continue what she was doing

"hey didn't you hear me"
