A girl whose heart long stop beating suddenly opened her eyes, she gasp and sat up in horror.

She look around frantically, ‘Where am I?’. She remembers that she is supposed to be dead so why is she here? Her eyes squinted at her body, her hands are smaller than before, it looks delicate unlike her scratch-full hands before.

She started cracking her head open for any memories and later on came into a conclusion that this girl is her third soul. Another her with a completely different life. ‘It seems that no matter what soul, be it Vitiya, Vita or this I would always have a miserable end’ The girl laughed. She didn't know if she should be happy for a new life or what.

She looked around again and saw that she is in a shabby warehouse. ‘I seemed to have been kidnapped and like any normal rich kidnapping they asked for ransom so her-, I mean, my father asked the butler to deliver the money to receive me and my uh- cousin? Yeah cousin, but if she- I remember clearly they said only one can go and with no hesitation the butler chose my cousin, after this the kidnappers asked for another ransom but unfortunately did not receive an answer, isn't that just cruel for your father to do?’ She shakes her head in disappointment, family will always be useless in her life.

It was clear that as soon as the kidnappers found out that she would be of no use to them any longer they never fed her anymore and just let her die.

‘If I remember correctly her- ahem, I mean 'my' name is Ying Li Jing, Li Jing means beautiful spirit, what a lovely name’ The witch-ghoul princess tried her best not to refer to herself in third person. Adjusting to another life sure isn't that easy.

‘Anyways this highness, no, this young miss shall leave everything behind and rest since I'm tired of the cultivation world, by the way their gadgets looks fun from my memory, but some are foggy’ She thought in glee, she ignored how her tummy clanged for food and drowned herself on different thoughts.

‘Am I Vitiya or Vita?’ The girl asked, ‘Vitiya is a hell-goul princess and she is me but Vita is a human witch and is also me..who am I now then? Also this Li Jing, she's me and I'm her, but...’ The girl entered a huge identity crisis but then she thought to push the crisis for now, her little head really can't bear it.

‘Nevermind, let's think of this girl's life for now, she's basically abandoned’ The girl thought as melancholy hit her.

“Great!” The young miss clapped her hands before continuing, she won't be sad for being abandoned yet again, “Since nobody cares about me, I might as well take a rest my whole life~ I'm going to enjoy a lot of food once I get out of here- that is if I get out of here on my own” The young miss said, she did not bother to control her voice as she thought no one would hear her but little did her tiny head know, there was a man listening to her this whole time.

The man outside frowned, he heard in many rumors that this young miss he is rescuing is by no means good. ‘But this little girl is just a kid who craves for love, poor kid, uncle promises to spoil you when we get back safely I have enough money and power anyway’ He thought.

(A/N: Sigh, I should say the victim between the two isn't really Ying Li Jing but the uncle outside, because our girl Li Jing is completely fine, well at least her mental health is?)

While the uncle outside clearly worries for the 'little girl' inside, the 'little girl' inside is thinking of clearly less important matters (for the time being), ‘Yeah, I forgot she also have another name, Mingxia that means bright glow, her mother must have really love her to name her these, I prefer that name, but her childhood is really gone from my memories, can't recall, meh~ who cares’.

“I don't know, I don't care, and I don't wanna bother, let's just sleep I'm tired” And so she went back to sleep, she'll find out a way out later she thought, sleep is more important.

But so she thought.

This story is from my first novel story "The Untold Story of Villains", Mingxia which I prefer to call the mc (main character) is a person from there, she died so she reincarnated here to the body of her another soul, you could read it there if you want to understand more of how she came here but I'll still rewrite her cause of death here just not so detailed, it'll be just kinda mentioned, though there might be more revelations here about her, since I made this one because to mainly focused on our mc. ‘Why is this uncle here? I thought everyone abandoned me since my cousin is safe...’ Mingxia looked at the uncle in front of her with complicated eyes. She really wish someone would give her an explanation.

“Are you alright Mingxia? Should I call you that or are you perhaps uncomfortable?” The uncle asked, he held a soft expression and has a soft voice.

‘Why did you save me...’ Mingxia's eyes dulled, she look down and started remembering what happened.

- Flashback -

A while ago, Mingxia was thinking how to get out when the door suddenly barge open and a handsome uncle came in. ‘...? This isn't part of the plan, well I haven't finished it yet, bu- but this will surely never be part of the plan, I'm suppose to run away from everything and never return’ Mingxia thought.

- End of flashback -

When Mingxia was deep in her thoughts the man went forward and patted her arm, “Don't worry little one, uncle defeated the bad guys outside, you're safe now, I'll take you home. I'm Qing Yuan by the way” Qing Yuan gave her a warm smile, he recalled how he defeated (A/N: he definitely did not kill anyone!) the kidnappers outside but Mingxia didn't need to know how (A/N: Or anything about their deaths at all! AND! And he didn't KILL anyone!).

“Huh? I don't have a home though” Mingxia's thoughts unintentionally leaked out. On her first life, her own fiancee chose someone else, her own soldiers turned their backs at her, her own people and family has either long forgotten her or died, her friends are all dead too. On her second life she met the same fate, aside from the fiancee, as she has none, so how can there be a home she can return to? For a moment she forgot she's in her third souls life now.

Qing Yuan's eyes softened after hearing this, ‘She must be confused or heart broken since her family took her cousin first’ Qing Yuan thought, he held the little girls hands and thought of how skinny she was, “They haven't fed you, right? Look how malnourished you are, don't worry uncle has avenged you already, you must have been so scared and thought you'll die here with no one coming”.

(A/N: The mc is indeed thinner than before but not to that point of malnourishment, and she thought nobody was coming for her but she never thought she's dying here this guy's is just overthinking 🙄)

“Wha- what?” Mingxia was so confused, what in the world is the man talking about?

“Let's get you to the ambulance, then eat, hm? I promise to get you the best food later on okay?” Qing Yuan stick out his pinky finger, seeing as the girl didn't tangle her pinky finger on his, he did it himself. ‘It's alright, a promise is a promise’ he thought.

“..?” Mingxia maintained her confused face while looking at the man, ‘This guy's weird..’ Were her thoughts.

Qing Yuan then decided to carry her to the ambulance after putting his military coat on her, she looks like she'll need it.

When the two came out, the passing wind made Mingxia feel a little cold, as once a powerful sage, she is new to the feeling of coldness. Before she was in constant warmness because of her witchcraft and (cultivation) arts no matter where she was.

She shivered even with the coat on her, ‘It's probably because of this mortal body or the fact that I haven't eaten for quite a while’ She thought as another wind went pass her, it felt gentle and familiar but she paid no deeper thought to it.

The man, Qing Yuan, put her down at the back of the ambulance, where a doctor examined her for a while.

“Yuan, this little girl seems to have a little trauma which is why she is responding late and she's also skinny, she probably haven't eaten for a while now” The doctor said to Qing Yuan, based on how he calls the latter they seem close. “Hm, but there's nothing wrong about her aside from these, right Lu Jin?” Qing Yuan asked as he glanced at the shivering Mingxia, who is wrapped in blankets inside the ambulance. “No, not of what I see for now” Lu Jin assured him with a pat on the arm.

‘Who the hell has trauma here?' Mingxia thought furiously. How in the world did she become a girl with trauma within just a few minutes? She should have just acted fine rather than this, and she really hated those deep pitying eyes. She wanted to strangle them even if she knew they meant good, she really wanted to shout and curse at them, but all she could do was have a straight face and stay silent, after all she couldn't risk the newfound safety and freedom. ‘Why are they even here? And this place doesn't really look like china, I mean the signs and writings around aren't chinese characters, they aren't even close.’

“Um, misters?..” Mingxia said, she was surprised as to how soft the voice came out, ‘My voice! What happened to my matured woman voice?! Even the past two younger me doesn't have this kind of soft voice! What the!’. She only grew more and more panicked when the two uncle's started trembling.

‘Who could spread such evil rumors about an innocent little thing’ The two thought, “Let's take her to- to eat” Qing Yuan suggested trying his best to stop his (sudden) nosebleed, “Ye- yeah let's- let's do that” Lu Jin replied while doing what the other is doing.

While the two is trying to stop their nosebleeds Mingxia is in deep sorrow ‘Nothing is going as planned, curse the world! I mean it's not that I'm ungrateful, I'm just drowning in my own remorse.’

Just when the three was going on a nutshell a male voice sounded from behind them, “What are you guys doing?”.

“What are you guys doing?” A male voice came from their backs, the three looked at the man in white polo and black leather jacket.

Liang Shui was dumbfounded seeing what his two friends are trying to do, “I still can quite understand about Lu Jin but you Yuan?” He shook his head in disappointment.

“Well, she is too cute” Qing Yuan responded, he didn’t bother giving any better explanation.

“!” On the other hand Lu Jin looked at Liang Shui silently, his eyes screaming being ‘wronged’.

Liang Shuo ignored Lu Jin, he didn't want bother about his sometimes genius sometimes idiotic friend. Without a doubt he's proud of the man being his friend but there are unavoidable times he wants to disown the man.

Liang Shui shifted his eyes to Mingxia, her eyes are sparkling brightly, he saw the girl ran behind his back and murmur: “Thank god there's someone normal here.” Liang Shui smiled at the little girl and patted her head, “Wanna eat?” He ask, in response Mingxia nodded excitedly.

Lu Jin and Qing Yuan looked at their backs, betrayal brewing on their hearts. Wasn't the girl rescued by them first? How come she would chose the other man than them?

“Here” Liang Shui passed Mingxia a bowl of Pelmeni, Pelmeni is considered the national dish of Russia, they are pastry dumplings typically filled with minced meat and wrapped in a thin, pasta-like dough. They can be served alone, slathered in butter and topped with sour cream, or in a soup broth.

(A/N: I got it from google so yeah, it might be wrong, the description is also from google.)

‘How come the little girl I rescued is so close to Liang Shui?’ Qing Yuan thought.

Lu Jin and Qing Yuan are burning in jealousy but the other two didn't spare them a single glance; Mingxia is too immersed in the delicious foods to notice while Liang Shui seems to be doing it deliberately.

“Open your mouth” Liang Shui said gently, Mingxia opened her mouth and a teaspoon of caviar entered her mouth, “I especially asked the main chef to get the best grade they have, do you like it?” Liang Shui asked, Mingxia nodded in response, ‘Human mortals are weak compared to other races but they do make good foods, just like how one of my senior martial sibling said’ Mingxia thought, she is talking about one of her senior martial sibling that sneaked out to the human world when she was still Vitiya, ‘That person said they make really good food and senior wasn't wrong!’.

Mingxia giggled happily, she was happily eating on her own when the door opened.

A man in formal suit came in, his black eyes are tough and his black hair is neat. He is Fang Rui, Mingxia’s fiancee in name, as everybody would say. “Good afternoon gentlemen, I'm here for my fiance. Mingxia” Fang Rui showed a smile that didn't reach his eyes, the three men nodded, even if they wanted to interfere they couldn't do much as the man is the girls fiancee. The man was already engaged with Mingxia even before either of them were born.

“Yeah?” Mingxia answered, she can’t remember the man even though he screams familiarity. ‘No wonder it's my fiancee’ She thought.

“You seem well, at least better than what I’ve heard” Fang Rui said coldly. “Yeah, they helped me” Mingxia answered calmly, she could care less about a man she couldn't remember.

“Mr. Fang don’t you think you are being too harsh to the girl?” Liang Shui interrupted, he didn’t want to interrupt but seeing Fang Rui's attitude towards the girl he couldn't help it.

“Yeah, how old are you?” Qing Yuan taunted, he's obviously pointing out their age difference. While Ying Mingxia is 16, he is 23, this means they have 7 years age difference.

Hearing the meaning of his words, Fang Rui’s face darken, “I hope you do not interfere to personal matters next time, sirs” He then grab Mingxia’s arm, he wanted to drag her out but the girl retaliated. “You also should learn not to interrupt others meal time next time, Mr. Fang!”, hearing how he was called Fang Rui laughed mockingly and said: “I was gone for a few months and now I'm called Mr. Fang, huh Mingxia?”, Mingxia flinched and like a body mechanism, tears started falling from her eyes, seeing her reaction Fan Rui unconsciously let go of her arm.

Liang Shui and Qing Yuan almost stood up after seeing her crying, they wanted to come forward but Lu Jin stopped them.

“I don’t even remember you! How would I know what to call you!” Mingxia cried. Since she woke up, her emotions had been uncontrollable, it was as if she turned into a child.

Fang Rui was confused, the girl didn't remember him?

“I might have an idea, please sit down Mr. Fang, let's discuss it” Lu Jin offered. Fang Rui nodded and sat down beside Mingxia.

Meanwhile Liang Shui who is on the other side of Mingxia gave her Medovik – Honey Cake.

After getting a cake, Mingxia immediately stopped crying and started eating, a large smile bloomed on her face from the first bite.

Seeing her stop crying just because of a cake Fang Rui was surprised. ‘Is this really my fiance?’ Fang Rui thought, are his eyes tricking him?

“What exactly is your idea, Lu Jin?” Qing Yuan asked, “Those kidnappers injected a strange fluid to these kids, and those guys seem to have given more than they should to Mingxia causing her head to be foggy, a lot of her memories might be missing or foggy, had we been later she could have died” Lu Jin explained. “Why didn’t you tell us earlier?” Liang Shui asked furiously, “It was hypothetical! I couldn't be sure and the girl needs to eat before I inject anything to soothe the fluid inside her” Lu Jin said. “Will she ever get her memory back?” Fang Rui asked. “The possibility is low as of now” Lu Jin shaked his head. “Is there any of the same case with the other kids?” Liang Shui asked. Lu Jin shook his head, “Thankfully there's none, another team of doctors are handling those kids and no same case is reported til now.”

“Was it a mistake or was she targeted somehow?” Qing Yuan asked worriedly. “It may or may not be” Liang Shui himself is uncertain.

“Why would they target her?” Another voice sounded. Hearing this voice, Liang Shui’s face darkened, “What an annoying person.”

“Don’t be like that brother, my people told me you're here and I hurried. Can’t you appreciate that at all?”.

“Ha, Liang Shuo” Liang Shui rolled his eyes in sarcasm, “Hello” Liang Shuo greeted playfully, “The chances are unkown” Liang Shui answered.
